Chandrababu Says Nominated Posts To Hard-Core Party Activists Only

Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that the nominated posts in the government will be filled soon for those who worked hard for the party only. Visiting party headquarters in Mangalagiri, first time after taking oath as Chief Minister on Saturday, he assured that he will keenly observe who has done what from the lower level ranks and will reward them suitably.

He asserted that if the leaders and workers are empowered, the foundations of the party will also be strong. The CM held a teleconference with Telugu Desam Party workers, MPs, Ministers, MLAs, booth level workers and leaders.

Naidu said that the recent victory of the party was a historic one, but not an accident. The people gave a determined verdict in which the party has won many seats that were never won during the last 20 years. He said that this reflects people’s growing confidence towards TDP and now it is the duty of the party and also the government to work in accordance with that confidence.

While dedicating the success of the alliance to the activists, Chandrababu said that the alliance achieved 57 percent vote share with a strike rate of 93 percent. This was also due to excellent coordination between cadres of three alliance partners during the poll campaign, he added.

He said that he always remembers the hardships faced by the activists in the last five years of YCP’s anarchistic regime. Chandrababu revealed that he spent sleepless nights seeing harassment, illegal cases, murders and arrests of party cadres.

He cautioned the party activists not to engage in partisan activities and desert arrogance. Unlike the earlier period of TDP government, he assured that this time he will spend sufficient time for party activists, leaders and MLAs, besides focusing on key areas in the administration.

He said that he will strengthen the party while running the government effectively while remaining available to the workers as much as possible.
