Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed anger over the misinformation going on that he has agreed for the privatization of Visakhapatnam steel plant and refuted stating that such campaigns are being run from a `factory of lies’. Asking people to be cautious towards such words of thieves, he assured that he knew how to save this Plant.
He asserted that the factory was born for the self-respect of the Telugu people with a motto `Visakha Steel is Rights of Andhras’, which right will not be abandoned at any cost. He recalled that during Vajpayee’s reigime, he fought and prevented privatization and knew how to save the factory.
Chandrababu assured that the NDA government will protect the Visakha Steel factory which was born as a right of Andhras. Lamenting that hardcore financial terrorists have looted Visakha and they will not be spared at all.
Chandrababu Naidu first time after assuming charge as Chief Minister is touring Anakapalli and Vizianagaram districsts of North Andhra on Thursday. He inspected the progress of Polavaram left canal works at Darlapudi in Anakapalli district and inquired about the progress of the works. Between 2014-19, Chandrababu tried to divert water to the left canal in the same way as Pattiseema. However, the works were not completed due to technical hurdles as well as land acquisition issues.
He said that the super six mentioned in the election will be implemented. He said that it was not even 30 days since he came to power, but already enhanced pensions were distributed to people beginning from the month of April, which reflects TDP’s commitment towards the poor.
He also recalled that he had foiled YS Jagan’s grand design of looting people’s lands by abolishing the Land Titling Act. He said Anna Canteens will be revived from August 15.
Chief Minister cautioned people not to believe the demon that tormented the people. He said people entrusted him with the task of getting rid of that demon forever. He said that he is committed to taking measures to ensure improvement in the incomes of people.
