Chandrababu: No Elections Until 2029?

Strongly refuting the YCP campaign that simultaneous polls are likely to be held in 2027, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that even if the bill comes into effect, elections will be held only in 2029. He revealed that they have already declared their support for the one nation- one election system.

He was furious that the YSRCP, which is unaware of simultaneous polls, is talking whatever it takes to make a living. He said that the words of YSRCP leaders have lost credibility among the people and that people are laughing at the dramas they play. He said that a stable government will continue in the state.

The CM said that the Swarna Andhra Vision 2047 document should be taken to the people more. He said that there should be a discussion on it everywhere including universities, colleges and schools, and that today’s generation should know how Vision 2020 is being realized.

The CM said that if we compare the conditions of Andhra Pradesh in 1996 and the conditions of 2020, revolutionary changes are visible to everyone, and he believed that the same will be repeated in 2047. He said that the Swarnandhra Vision 2047 document is not a program that can be put aside for a day and called for everyone’s participation in this effort for the betterment of future generations.

Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that this Vision 2047 is for the future of tomorrow’s generation. He said that the election process of irrigation societies, cooperatives and others will be completed as per the schedule. He said that many changes will be made in the collectors’ conference this time. He said that it will be held in the form of questions and answers without giving room for lengthy reviews.

He said that the agenda will be sent to the collectors and SPs in advance and answers will be sought on them. He said that this will make good use of time and increase interaction between ministers and officials.

Expressing concern that the BJP stalwart L K Advani was admitted in a hospital, he said “I wish Advani, who is admitted to the hospital, a speedy recovery. I have been associated with Advani for decades. Advani’s contribution to the development of AP that day is unforgettable.’
