Chandrababu Refutes Telangana Leaders’ Allegations on Krishna Water Usage

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has dismissed allegations by Telangana leaders, including Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, accusing Andhra Pradesh of excessive utilization of Krishna River water. He asserted that the claims lack any factual basis and clarified that the state is using only the water allocated to it.

Chandrababu Naidu further stated that surplus water from the Godavari River is abundantly available in both states and that Andhra Pradesh is utilizing only the excess water that would otherwise flow into the sea.

However, he acknowledged that certain challenges remain regarding Krishna River water and emphasized the need for a swift resolution to the issue.
