Chandrababu Naidu’s Notable Statements on Simultaneous Elections

Chandrababu Naidu made notable remarks about simultaneous elections (Jamili elections). He urged the entire country to support the initiative, emphasizing that stable governance would lead to faster development. Naidu shared these thoughts while speaking to the media in Vijayawada on Wednesday.  

Chandrababu Naidu highlighted that frequent elections in different states each year disrupt development. He suggested that holding elections for Parliament, Assembly, and local bodies together would be more efficient. This way, the focus could shift entirely to development. He also emphasized the importance of youth, calling them a significant strength for the country.  

And the people of Haryana voted the BJP into power for a third time because they recognized the advantages of good governance. He credited the party’s success in Haryana to the approach of its top leadership. Naidu stated that the BJP’s hat-trick win in Haryana is a positive sign for the NDA. He added that citizens, placing their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, opted for stability and development.

Chandrababu Naidu further emphasized that the BJP has strengthened its position in Jammu and Kashmir, experiencing a notable rise in its vote share. He remarked that citizens are inclined to support governments that deliver results. Naidu expressed optimism that the NDA would achieve successful outcomes in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand. 

Moreover, former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy faced criticism, being described as the greatest impediment to Andhra Pradesh’s development. Concerns were raised about the considerable decline the state has experienced over the past five years. There was a strong declaration that the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant should not be privatized under any circumstances.
