Chandrababu Naidu Orders Immediate Road Repairs in Andhra Pradesh

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has prioritized improving the condition of roads in Andhra Pradesh. He has directed officials to undertake immediate repairs wherever necessary. During a review meeting on the Roads and Buildings Department today, officials informed the Chief Minister that filling potholes on the roads would require Rs 300 crore.

The state has 4,151 km of roads with pothole issues, and currently, 2,936 km of roads are in need of urgent repair.

In response, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu instructed the officials to call for tenders for emergency repairs immediately and to commence the work without delay.

During the meeting, Chandrababu remarked that the previous government had neglected the roads, causing significant hardship for the people over the past five years. He emphasized the need for efficient performance from the officials to improve the situation and ensure better road conditions for the public.
