AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the ‘Captain’ of ‘Viksit Bharat’. “Modi is taking steps for Vikasit Bharat 2047 with his ideas as a captain. Let’s stand by him. Let’s all together make India a more developed India,” he said.
He addressed the meeting of chief ministers of the NDA alliance held in Chandigarh on Thursday. 17 Chief Ministers and 18 Deputy CMs of NDA-ruled states took part in the meeting.
In this meeting, ‘Vikasit Bharat’ was mainly discussed. Chief Minister Chandrababu stated that the Make in India, Digital India, Swachh Bharat and Skill India programs implemented by the NDA government show the social, economic and political development of the country and show the power of India.
Chandrababu shared his thoughts on poverty alleviation, job creation, electricity generation at low cost, river linking, skill development etc. The country has made significant progress through programs like Gati Shakti, Digital India and Make in India. Schemes like Ayushman Bharat are very accessible to people. Skill (Skill) should also be added to ‘Jam’ (Jandhan, Aadhaar, Mobile) and converted into Jams, he added.
Chandrababu suggested that first focus should be on poverty alleviation, in the second phase efforts should be made to reduce inequalities. The top 10 percent of the population should come forward to help the bottom 20 percent of the population.
Chandrababu stated that results can be achieved quickly with the participation of the private sector in the fields of ports, airports, logistics parks, inland waterways, railways, freight corridors, expressways etc. He said miracles can be created in the energy sector by using technology.
He said that there is no need to depend on oil imports. He wants to provide the curriculum for the future needs of the students. He suggested preparing ‘demographic management’ keeping the future in mind. He said that with the use of data analytics, AI and robotics, the cost of diagnosis and health services can be drastically reduced.
Chandrababu asserted that results of the Haryana assembly elections are proof that people once again have faith in Modi’s leadership. He expressed confidence that the NDA alliance will win in Maharashtra and Jharkhand as well. Many CMs and Prime Minister Modi appreciated Chandrababu’s suggestions and proposals.
Some of the points were mentioned later in Modi’s speech. Modi recalled the details that he and Chandrababu had told the then Prime Minister Vajpayee in the NDA meeting held in Kashmir earlier. Modi said that they had said that with the reforms, the poor will be benefited, ultimately the standard of living of the people will increase.
