Accusing that chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy destroyed Rayalaseema during his five-years mis-governance, TDP chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu appealed to people to ensure a landslide defeat to `Rayalaseema traitor’ in this elections. He kick-started the election campaign initiating his `Prajagalam Yatra’ from Palamaner on Wednesday and asked the people to facilitate a grand success to TDP, Jana Sena and BJP alliance.
A large number of people flocked to Chandrababu’s road show. Speaking on this occasion, Chandrababu lamented that YCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy had cheated people for five years with deceitful words. He said that Jagan has not done anything for the development of Rayalaseema.
He said that the credit of bringing water to Anantapur goes to the Telugu Desam government. Heindustry said that the TDP government has worked hard to establish the Kia cars factory in Anantapur district. He said that the late leader NTR initiated the irrigation projects in Rayalaseema and he further developed those projects
Chandrababu said that if water comes, industries will come.. If water comes, development and wealth will increase. Stating that Jagan is coming once again in the name of ‘Siddam yatra’, he asked people to welcome him with empty roads.
He recalled that the late leader NTR had initiated several measures for the all-round development of Rayalaseema and later the TDP government also had developed all the sectors in Rayalaseema, which is a drought prone state, when he was the CM. But, he accused that credit goes to YS Jagan for destroying the region, once ruled by Srikrishna Devarayalu.
Deploring that Jagan destroyed the entire state, Naidu said that the state will be liberated on June 4 from J Brand liquor and ganja menace. Even government employees are not getting salaries properly and pensioners are suffering in the absence of delayed payments, he added.
He assured that the electricity charges will not increase if the NDA alliance comes to power. Chandrababu Naidu called on the people to vote for the candidates of TDP, Janasena and BJP alliance and get ready to send Jagan home after winning with a huge majority.
