Chandrababu Attributes BJP’s Delhi Victory To Trust In Modi’s Leadership

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu credited the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) resounding victory in the Delhi Assembly elections to the trust the people have in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Addressing the media at his residence in Undavalli, he praised the people of Delhi for making the right choice in the elections.

Naidu highlighted India’s economic growth since 1991, noting that economic reforms initiated by Telugu leader PV Narasimha Rao played a crucial role. He pointed out that from 1995 to 2024, the per capita income of the country has increased by nine times. “Wealth creation leads to income growth, and infrastructure development follows. In Telugu states, the per capita income is around $3,000 (approximately Rs. 2.63 lakh), whereas in Bihar, it is still $750 (approximately Rs. 65,000),” he said.

The Chief Minister also emphasized the role of technology in driving growth, calling IT and infrastructure key factors in the development of the region. He praised the importance of timely leadership, stating, “Good governance is the foundation of strong politics. Gujarat’s development has been driven by stable governance, consistent policies, and growth.”

Naidu also criticized certain leaders who, under the guise of welfare programs, have engaged in corruption, further polluting the political landscape. “Some leaders are causing harm by focusing on corruption instead of genuine welfare,” he remarked.
