Chandrababu Asked If Bapatla Wants A Rowdy Or IPS Officer As Their MP?

TDP chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked people of Bapatla to decide whether they want a rowdy or an honest police officer as their MP. Addressing a Prajagalam public meeting in Bapatla, he said that TDP is fielding an honest officer Krishna Prasad as its candidate.

Stating that he personally saw Krishna Prasad’s working style closely, as he worked under him in the government, he said he is an honest police officer and has a sense of service. But, he alleged that the sitting YCP MP is a looter.

As Krishna Prasad lived righteously and served people with commitment, Chandrababu said that he has selected him as the party’s candidate from here. He said that it is the responsibility of the Bapatla people to ensure the victory of Krishna Prasad as an MP and Narendra Verma as Bapatla MLA.

He accused chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy of blaming him for his failure to pay pensions after looting the treasure for the sake of contractors. He recalled that it was his government that had multiplied the pension amount by increasing from Rs 200 to Rs 2000. He assured that after the formation of the NDA government in the state it will be increased further to Rs 4,000.

The former chief minister promised to provide electricity to everyone at Rs.1.50 paisa per unit. He said that GO No. 217 that was brought to harm the fishermen will be scrapped soon after coming to power.

Chandrababu lamented that Jagan only showed crocodile tears towards BCs and SCs, but his government practically harmed their interests. He alleged that Jagan has canceled as many as 30 schemes intended for BCs welfare and 27 schemes aimed at SCs welfare.

He deplored that Dalits were harassed during the last five years. He recalled that a dalit driver was killed and a doctor who asked for the mas was driver mad and killed.
