Centre Orders IAS Officers Amrapali Kata, Ronald Rose to Report to Andhra Pradesh

The central government has directed Amrapali Kata, Ronald Rose, and other officials currently serving in Telangana to relocate to Andhra Pradesh. The Centre dismissed the objections raised by several IAS and IPS officers who had requested to be assigned to Telangana. Officers such as Vakati Karuna, Ronald Rose, Amrapali Kata, Vaniprasad, and Mallela Prashanthi had appealed to the Centre to be allotted to Telangana, but their requests were denied. Instead, the central government has ordered them to report to Andhra Pradesh.

Currently, Amrapali Kata serves as the Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, and Ronald Rose is functioning as the Secretary of the Power Department. Along with them, Vaniprasad, Vakati Karuna, Mallela Prashanthi, and other officials have been assigned to the Andhra Pradesh cadre as per the Centre’s decision.

A total of 11 officials had requested the Centre for Telangana cadre assignments, but their pleas were rejected. All the officials have been instructed to report to their respective home states. The Centre has issued official letters with the names of the IAS officers, sending copies to the Chief Secretaries of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
