Today, on April 19, Tamil actors Rajinikanth, Ajith Kumar, Suriya, Dhanush, and others cast their votes for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu. It was reported that Thala Ajith came in the early morning to the polling booth and was the earliest one to vote in Chennai. Thala was seen in a white shirt paired with blue jeans. The video of Thala Ajith entering the poll booth, casting his vote, and greeting the voting officials is surfacing online.
Later, Superstar Rajinikanth and Siva Karthikeyan were also spotted, lining up to cast their votes at polling booths. Rajinikanth wore a white shirt. On his way out, Superstar Rajinikanth addressed the media, and in a press statement, he urged everyone to vote. The Superstar said, “There is respect and pride if we say that we have cast our vote. There is no pride in saying that you have not voted. He added that “a citizen must vote and urged everyone to cast their vote.”
Actors Dhanush and Vijay Sethupathi were also seen casting their votes and exercising their duties as well. The actors showed off their inked fingers to the media. Actor Dhanush cast his vote at St. Francis Xavier School around 8 a.m. in Chennai. Vijay Sethupathi exercised his duty at Chennai High School in Kilpauk.
