Prominent actor and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Posani Krishna Murali is facing legal trouble as multiple cases are being registered against him across Andhra Pradesh. To date, over 50 cases have been filed against him.
In the latest development, a case was registered at the RIMS police station in Kadapa district following allegations that Posani made inappropriate remarks against Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Minister Nara Lokesh. The complaint was lodged by BC Cell Vice President Venkata Subbaiah and City SC Cell President Bhaskar. A similar complaint was also filed at the Rajampet police station.
In Anantapur, Telugu Yuvatha and SC Cell leaders protested by burning an effigy of Posani. Police have announced plans to summon the actor for questioning and stated that notices will be issued within two to three days.
Additionally, cases have also been registered against actress Sri Reddy in several police stations across the state.
