BRS to Expose Alleged Corruption in Pharma City, Says KTR

BRS Working President KTR alleged that there is a multi-crore scam behind the cancellation of Hyderabad Pharma City, calling it a clear real estate scheme. Speaking to the media at the BRS Bhavan in Sircilla, KTR recalled that the Congress had promised to cancel Pharma City before the elections. He pointed out that current Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, and other Congress leaders spoke about the cancellation on various platforms.

KTR noted that Congress had accused the BRS of engaging in real estate business through Pharma City and promised to return the lands to farmers if it were canceled. However, after the Congress government was formed, when farmers approached the High Court, the same government stated in court that Pharma City had not been canceled. He questioned the CM’s claims about Future City, AI City, and Fourth City, asking whether any land had been acquired under the land acquisition act for these projects. KTR demanded answers on how the lands initially proposed for Pharma City could be diverted for other uses without proper cancellation.

He accused Revanth Reddy of plotting to benefit his family with thousands of crores under the guise of Fourth City, alleging that this was part of a larger conspiracy involving the continuation of Pharma City. KTR stated that they would soon expose the multi-crore scam behind the project. He further explained that the BRS government had proposed Pharma City over 14,000 acres with an investment of ₹64,000 crores, acquired as per regulations, and stressed that the land should not be diverted for other purposes. He stated that if the Pharma City is not established on these 14,000 acres, the land must be returned to the farmers.
