BRS preparing To challenge Justice PC Ghosh Commission Report Legally, Harish Rao consulting Legal Experts

After Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that the government would take action against those named as accused in the report submitted by Justice PC Ghosh Commission on the Kaleshwaram project and after taking everyone’s opinions, the BRS leaders seem to be preparing for a legal battle. They are preparing to challenge the validity of this report more than cornering the government in the assembly or politically.

Especially since the names of former Chief Minister KCR and former Minister Harish Rao were mentioned in this report, Harish Rao started consulting with legal experts. It is understood that the BRS leaders are preparing to present their arguments in the direction of making the report legally invalid as the report was prepared without giving those who are already being named as guilty a chance to present their arguments.

The Congress government has released a report of only 60 pages without releasing the full report, and there are many assumptions being raised by BRS leaders on this report, is this the Ghosh report? Is it a Congress report?  BRS leaders are demanding the release of the 665-page report.

Although Harish Rao is said to have gone to Delhi to discuss with senior lawyers how to deal with the legal issue of the Banakacharla project being constructed by the Andhra Pradesh government, it is learnt that discussions are underway regarding the Justice PC Ghosh Commission report.

Earlier, he met the Chief Secretary of the government, K. Ramakrishna Rao, at the Secretariat on Friday. He submitted separate petitions signed by KCR and Harish Rao, seeking copies of the 665-page report given by Justice Ghosh. Later, he took receipts of the petitions being given.

It is learnt that the CS has said that he will examine Harish Rao’s plea and give a decision. It seems that BRS is taking strategic steps to confront Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s moves regarding this report through legal battle. Though Chief Minister Revanth Reddy indicated that he has no intention to arrest KCR in any case, BRS leaders are suspicious over this intentions.
