BRS MLAs Given privilege Motion Against Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy

BRS MLAs have given a shock to Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. They have served a privilege motion against him for violation of the rights of the Assembly. To this end, they have met Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar and submitted a petition.

They have complained to the Speaker that Minister Komatireddy is speaking untruths in the House. The petition states that the answer given by the Minister regarding the Roads and Buildings Department during the Question Hour of the Legislative Assembly is misleading the House.

The complaint has clarified that the Minister has commented that CRF funds have not been received during the BRS regime. They have requested that the answer given by the Minister that funds have not been allocated for the roads of Nalgonda constituency and that an escrow account has not been opened for the Uppal elevated corridor is completely untrue.

The BRS MLAs have demanded immediate action against the minister who is misleading the House. They have submitted the relevant evidence to the Speaker. They have demanded that the notice of violation of the rights of the House against Komatireddy be allowed immediately.

On the other hand, a dialogue war has once again taken place between the ruling and opposition parties in the Assembly. Komatireddy Venkata Reddy countered Harish Rao’s comments that the minister did not answer the question he asked regarding road construction.

Komati Reddy said that there are no proposals for road construction in the PPP model. He said that the government will build roads in partnership with the private sector in the hybrid annuity model. He revealed that the government will pay 100 percent of the funds.

There has been a campaign on social media for the past few days that the Congress government is going to collect toll fees on rural and state roads as well. Minister Komatireddy clarified in the assembly that all of that is untrue.

He flagged that roads were built only in Sircilla, Siddipet and Gajwel during the BRS regime. He challenged former minister Harish Rao to look back at the entire state. Meanwhile, Harish Rao announced that he is accepting the challenge posed by the minister Komatireddy.
