Quthbullapur BRS MLA K.P. Vivekananda alleged that Telangana will not get even a single rupee of investment from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s frequent foreign tours. He accused Revanth Reddy’s team of spreading false propaganda that investments are coming from foreign trips.
He criticized that in the past, people were deceived by believing that investments were brought through trips to the USA and Davos. He said that Revanth Reddy’s affair is like a jackal seeing a tiger. He accused the Chief Minister of deceiving the people. He questioned what happened to Rs. 12,400 crores of investments announced from the Adani company?.
Vivekananda explained that the Congress government brought only Rs. 862 crores. He alleged that the CM’s decision to cancel Pharma City, Airport Metro and Formula E Race will cause irreparable damage to the interests of the state and also its brand image among potential investors world-wide.
The MLA revealed that companies from the state are moving to other states due to the law and order situation in the state. He lamented that the people were deceived by saying six guarantees in a100days. Moreover, he said that farmers are angry as they were deceived by swearing on God saying loan waiver. What are the real facts about the Rs. 40,232 crore investments that are claimed to have come from the performance of the Congress government?, he asked.
Vivekananda is suspicious over the promised investments from Adani companies. He wondered how a small shell company worth Rs. 160 crores, Godi Company, can invest Rs. 8,000 crores in Telangana?
He recalled that Rs. 9,000 crore investment announced by JSW, Rs. 5,200 crore investment announced by Web Works and Rs 1270 crore by Godrej were actually materialized during the previous KCR regime. He recalled that the Tata Group and Godrej came forward to invest at the initiative of the then Industries Minister KTR.
He lamented that Revanth Reddy was making foreign trips just for recognition. Apart from criticizing the KCR government, he said that the investments brought by Revanth Reddy are null and void. He criticized that Revanth Reddy is making foreign trips leaving the problems in the state.
