BRS leaders Harish Rao and Vadiraju Ravichandra visited MLC Kavitha, who is currently detained in Tihar Jail in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case. During their visit, it was noted that Kavitha is suffering from a fever. The jail authorities provided her with medical treatment at AIIMS, Delhi, yesterday.
Kavitha’s bail plea is scheduled for a hearing in the Supreme Court on the 27th of this month. She has been in custody since her arrest five months ago in connection with the liquor policy case. Despite multiple bail petitions being filed, Kavitha has not yet been granted bail.
