Nagarjuna took to his social media account ‘X’ and revealed that Akhil got engaged to a girl named Zainab Ravdjee. He posted an adorable picture of the pair and wrote ‘ We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son,Akhil Akkineni, to our daughter in law to be Zainab Ravdjee! Akhil made his acting debut in 2015 and has been desperately trying to score a big hit. He is currently on a brief break after his previous film Agent.
In 2016, Akhil was engaged to Shriya Bhupal, a Hyderabad-based fashion designer and granddaughter of industrialist GVK Reddy. Unfortunately, their marriage was called off due to some personal differences. Rumours were rife that differences cropped up due to age gap between them. She was 26 years and Akhil was 22 years at that time. They dated for a couple of years before engagement.
