With the announcement of the election schedule by the Election Commission, major political parties in the state have almost completed the selection of candidates. Now, everyone is focusing on the election campaign.
Moreover, the leaders of the major parties have already ignited the election heat in the state with state-wide tours. With that, from March 27, the main rivals Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu are starting their campaign schedules from Rayalaseema on the same day.
Moreover, it became interesting that both the leaders are starting their campaign from their native districts. Both leaders campaigning in Kurnool district on the same day, on March 29.
From March 27, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu will hold meetings and road shows in the name of `Prajagalam’. TDP has planned to hold meetings and road shows in 3 to 4 constituencies per day. The tour schedule was finalized from 27th to 31st.
On March 27, Chandrababu will campaign in Palamaner, Nagari and Nellore rural areas. On March 28, he will visit Raptadu, Singanamala and Kadiri. On March 29, Prajagalam Yatra will be held in Srisailam, Nandikotkur, Kurnool. On March 31, Chandrababu will visit Maidukuru, Proddutur, Sullurpet, Srikalahasti.
On the other hand, CM Jagan will also start his election campaign from March 27. Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s bus trip will start from Idupulapaya, his native village. Jagan will take out a bus yatra in the name of `Memanta Siddam’ as a continuation of the `Siddam’ meetings in various places of the state.
Apart from the areas where the `Siddam’ meetings were held, Jagan’s bus yatra will be held in the remaining areas. A meeting will be held at Proddatur on March 27. Public meeting at Nandyala on March 28. The meeting will be held at Emmiganoor on 29th.
