In a candid interview with a prominent YouTube channel, the 50-year-old actress said many suitors expected her to quit acting and focus solely on household responsibilities after marriage. Patel explained that she politely turned down such proposals, emphasizing that she believes partners should encourage each other’s professional growth. She also recalled a serious relationship before entering films, which ended when her partner expressed discomfort with her public life as an actress, prompting her to choose her career over love.
Ameesha added that she is not opposed to marriage and would consider tying the knot with a suitable, deserving partner. She revealed that she continues to receive marriage proposals from reputable families and even dating invitations from men around her age, stressing that mental maturity matters more than age. On the professional front, Patel enjoyed tremendous success with Gadar 2, co-starring Sunny Deol, which earned around ₹686 crore worldwide. She was recently seen in the film Tauba Tera Jalwa.
