Bollywood actress has reportedly complained to Vijayawada police that three IPS officers played a key role in her kidnap and illegal detention by registering a false case against her. She met the Vijayawada Police Commissioner Rajasekhar Babu and also met the investigation officer Sravanti Roy on Friday formally lodging a complaint.
She particularly named the then Intelligence Chief PSR Anjaneyulu, Vijayawada police commissioner Kanti Rana and DCP Vishal Gunni. She also provided the documentary evidence, audio, video and photos in support of her complaint. The Investigation Officer questioned her to seek details of the incident from 6.15 PM to 10.15 PM.
She complained that before registering a fa;se case against her in Vijayawada, an intelligence team was sent to Mumbai by PSR Anjaneyulu to conduct a reiki at her house. Later only they obtained a fabricated complaint from YCP leader K Vidya Sagar, registered a case.
Immediately a police team was sent to Mumbai, pressured her to withdraw her complaint against of sexual assault against an industrialist in Mumbai and took her signatures.
She strongly condemned YCP leaders’ accusations that there were several cases in various states against her alleging she resorted to honey trap and blackmailing of rich people. She asserted that not a single case is against her elsewhere.
She told the investigating officer that she bought a house in Mumbai in 2020, but Vidya Sagar created a bogus deed dated 2018 with that address. She handed over her house documents.
Alleging that Vijayawada police kidnapped her from her Mumbai residence and illegally remanded in Vijayawada for 42 days. She deplored that she was treated very badly by the police without even having the opportunity to consult her lawyers for bail.
“The Andhra Pradesh police kidnapped me within 40 days of registering an FIR against an industrialist in Mumbai on my complaint. My electronic equipment was seized. Then how can I give evidence in the Mumbai case? I feel that a false case has been filed against me in connection with that case. I felt a case against me was filed in Vijayawada as part of an attempt to close that case. In order to give a clean chit to strong people, I was severely harassed,” she expressed her grief.
