Bala Krishna Warns Jagan It Is End To His Games

Warning Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy that people will no more tolerate his political games, TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna said that these elections are an end to his repressive regime.

Extensively campaigning in Yemmiganur and Mantralayam assembly constituencies in Rayalaseema as part of his `Swarnandhra Sakara Yatra’, on Tuesday, he participated in road shows and he was joined by a large number of people everywhere.   

“After YS Jaganmohan Reddy came to power, there is a regime of destruction in the state. If Navyandhra was put on the world map under the TDP government, today that name is gone. People are watching everything. Jagan.. your games will not go any further” he said.

Strongly lamenting YS Jagan’s miserable regime and comparing it with that of TDP’s regime committed to welfare and development of people, he recalled that it was Chandrababu who provided irrigation facilities to a large number of people in Rayalaseema region.

Balakrishna said that credit goes to Chandrababu for taking the state to the path of development after it was pushed to Rs 6,000 debts after bifurcation of the state. But, he alleged that Jagan pushed the state into Rs 12 lakh crore debts, of which only Rs 2.5 lakh crore was spent on Navaratnas. However, he deplored people who fell into the trap of Jagan trusting his call `give me one chance’, which led to immense damage to the development of the state.

As elections are near again, he pleaded people to think wisely. “Do you want development? Do you want anarchy? Do you want those who destroy? Do you want those who build? Do you want a golden age? Do you want a dark kingdom?”, he asked.

The time has come for people to decide and this is the time to show door to Jagan, he added. On this occasion, Yemmiganur YCP MLA Errakota Chennakesava Reddy’s family members joined TDP in the presence of Balakrishna. The sons of MLA Errakota Swayana’s brothers K. Virupakshi Reddy, K. Balakrishna Reddy, K. Chenna Reddy, Karunakar Reddy, Ralladoddy K. Chenna Reddy joined the TDP under the leadership of TDP candidate and former MLA BV Jayanageswara Reddy. Balakrishna invited them to the party by covering them with yellow scarves

EC Notice To BRS Chief KCR, Seek Explanation

The Central Election Commission has issued a notice to BRS chief and former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday, taking serious exception to his comments in Sirisilla on April 5, during the Lok Sabha election campaign.

EC Principal Secretary Avinash Kumar stated in the notices that KCR, who served as party leader and former chief minister, had violated the election code of conduct and the EC had examined the basic evidence for that. It is stated in the notices that an explanation should be given to this notice so that it reaches the EC by 11 am on Thursday (April 18).

Avinash Kumar stated that this notice had to be issued after getting a factual report from the Chief Electoral Officer of the State along with the Sircilla District Election Officer as per the complaint received from Telangana Congress Vice President Niranjan.

Avinash Kumar mentioned that a complaint was received from PCC vice-president Niranjan on 6th of this month, in which he mentioned the rude comments made by KCR in Sircilla, and he wrote a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer of the state on 9th of this month, and an explanation was received from him on 10th.

EC Principal Secretary Avinash stated that his comments violate the provisions of Part-I of Part-I of the Election Code of Conduct. During last year’s assembly elections, similar rude comments were made in the election campaign meeting held in Banswada on October 30.

Avinash stated that the clear letters written on January 2 and March 1 this year are being repeated saying that politicians should not go into their personal lives and make comments, and should not make comments that damage the image of opposing party leaders and candidates.

The notices stated that the ECI agrees with the explanations received from the Chief Election Officer and the District Election Officer that KCR has made these comments and has come to the conclusion that KCR has committed violations of the code.

NDA Asks ECI To Shift Pro- YCP Chief Secretary, DGP, Intelligence Chief

A NDA delegation met the Election Commission and filed a complaint against the Jagan Mohan Reddy led Andhra Pradesh government in connection with alleged misuse of state machinery during elections. Alleging several senior officers are working just like YCP activists, ignoring model code of conduct, they sought immediate transfer of Chief Secretary, DGP, Intelligence Chief and other senior officers.

The delegation comprising BJP General Secretary Arun Singh, Om Pathak, Telugu Desam Party Ex MP K. Raveendra Kumar, Jana Sena Party PAC Chairperson Nadendla Manohar and others met the commission in New Delhi over the issue.

Talking to the media after the meeting, Arun Singh said that the delegation has demanded an investigation into the alleged attempt to pressurize the state machinery to work in favour of the ruling state government. He stated that they have also demanded videography at sensitive poll stations and deployment of central police force.

He said that they have brought to the notice of the ECI that AP DGP, Chief Secretary and Intelligence DGP are working under the pressure of YCP and they are not able to work independently. Arun Singh stated that TDP Chandrababu Naidu has already made many complaints in this regard.

Jana Sena PAC Chairperson N. Manohar said they complained on the worsening law and order situation in the state. Expressing concern that the  law and order has completely deteriorated in the state, he said that even the Chief Minister has no protection and stones were pelted against opposition leaders like Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan.

He said they sought intervention of the ECI as so many such incidents are happening under the supervision of the DGP, CS and Intelligence DGP.

TDP ex MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar said that even after the election schedule came, the Chief Secretary had given postings to the officials who were favorable to him and the CEO was also called to him for reviews. He recalled that the DGP and Intelligence DIG even failed to provide proper security during Prime Minister Modi’s visit.

Meanwhile, the ECI has ordered the transfer of AP Beverages Corporation MD Vasudeva Reddy and directed to shift him by Tuesday evening and made it clear no election- related duties should be assigned to him. EC acted on the complaint of the TDP against his collusion with YCP leaders.

In a big setback to AP Government Advisors like Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, who has been acting as spokespersons of the ruling YSRCP and involving in election related political activities, the Election Commission has made it clear that the Election Code of Conduct is applicable to State Government Advisors also.

It warned that if they crossed their limits, stern action has to be taken against them. It said that they have been receiving several complaints on their political activities and criticizing political opponents organising media conferences.

In view of such a series of complaints, the ECI on Tuesday issued directives to apply the Election Code of Conduct to around 40 government advisers, who are appointed by executive orders and who hold the status of Cabinet Ministers and receive salaries and allowances from the consolidated fund of the state government.

The commission found that they are entering and holding press conferences criticizing the opposition parties. Several advisors including Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and Chandrasekhar Reddy criticized the opposition after the code came out.

ECI has clarified that after reviewing the conduct of advisers, the rules applicable to the appointment of government ministers will also apply to advisers. It warned that any violation of these orders will be dealt with seriously.

The ECI has made it clear that strict action will be taken in accordance with the election rules, implementation of model code and relevant laws. The EC explained that it has been found that instead of doing the specified work, they are getting involved in political campaigning and holding press conferences criticizing the opposition.

 It has been made clear that like the ministers, the code of conduct of elections is also applicable to them, and any violation will be taken seriously and strict action will be taken in accordance with the relevant laws. The Chief Election Commissioner MK Meena has reported the matter to the Central Election Commission after receiving many complaints regarding the conduct of government advisers.

జనసేన పార్టీకి గాజుగ్లాసు గుర్తు అనేది తాత్కాలికంగా కేటాయించిన గుర్తు గనుక ఇటీవల దానిని రద్దు చేస్తూ ఈసీ ఉత్తర్వులు ఇచ్చింది. అలాంటి ఉత్తర్వులు వెలువడ్డాయో లేదో.. వైఎస్సార్ సీపీ శ్రేణులు మొత్తం పండగ చేసేసుకున్నాయి. గ్లాసు గుర్తు కు జనసేనకు ఇక లేదంటూ వైసీపీ అనుకూల మీడియా కథనాలను వండి వార్చింది. ఈసీ తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయం కేవలం లాంఛనం మాత్రమేనని, పార్టీ అడిగితే మళ్లీ అదే గుర్తు ఆ పార్టీకి కేటాయించడం సర్వసాధారణం అని ప్రజలందరికీ తెలుసు. వారందరికీ కూడా తెలుసు. కానీ.. తాము అలాంటి గోబెల్స్ ప్రచారం చేస్తే జనసేన శ్రేణులన్నీ డీలా పడిపోతాయని , వారి ఆత్మస్థైర్యాన్ని దెబ్బతీయవచ్చునని వైసీపీ వారు భ్రమించినట్టుగా ప్రచారంచేశారు. ఇంకొన్ని కుట్రలు కూడా నడిపారు. ఆనందించారు. అయితే ఇప్పుడు వారి ఆనందం కాస్తా ఆవిరైపోయింది.

ఒకసారి రద్దయిన తర్వాత.. జనసేన మళ్లీ దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోగా.. గాజు గ్లాసు గుర్తు ను తిరిగి జనసేనకే కేటాయించింది. అయితే జనసేన పార్టీకి గ్లాసు గుర్తు కేటాయించడాన్ని సవాలు చేస్తూ రాష్ట్రీయ ప్రజా కాంగ్రెస్ (సెక్యులర్) అనే పార్టీ అధ్యక్షుడు ఎం.శ్రీనివాస్ హైకోర్టులో ఒక పిటిషన్ వేశారు. మొత్తానికి ఆ పిటిషన్ ద్వారా గాజు గ్లాసు గుర్తు జనసేనకు కాకుండా చేయాలని ఆశించారు. అలాంటి పిటిషన్ వెనుక ఎవరు ఉండి వ్యవహారం నడిపిస్తుంటారో ప్రజలందరూ కూడా ఊహించుకోదగినదే.

అయితే హైకోర్టులో ఆ పిటిషన్ వీగిపోయింది. ఆ గుర్తుకోసం జనసేన పార్టీ ముందుగానే దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నదని, నిబంధనలకు అనుగునంగా.. మొదట వచ్చిన వారికి మొదట విధానంలోనే జనసేనకు గుర్తు ఇవ్వడం జరిగిందని కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం తమ వాదనల్లో కోర్టుకు నివేదించింది. దీంతో ఆ పిటిషన్ ను హైకోర్టు కొట్టివేసింది.
నిజానికి ఇది చాలా చిన్న సాంకేతికమైన వ్యవహారం. దీనితోనే జనసేన పార్టీని దెబ్బకొట్టేసినట్టుగా వైసీపీ పండగ చేసుకోవడం చిల్లర వ్యవహారం అని.. ఇప్పుడు అంతిమంగా పవన్ కే ఎడ్వాంటేజీ దక్కిందని ప్రజలు అనుకుంటున్నారు.

ఏపీలో అధికార వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్- ప్రతిపక్ష తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీలు గట్టిగానే కొట్టుకుంటున్నాయి. నాయకుల మీద రాళ్లు విసరడం అనే టాపిక్ మీద ప్రస్తుతానికి ఇరు పార్టీల మధ్య ఆరోపణల యుద్ధం నడుస్తోంది. అసలు విషయం తేలకపోయినప్పటికీ.. పరసప్పరం నిందించుకుంటే రాయి రాజకీయం చేస్తున్నారు. ఒక రకంగా చూస్తే.. ప్రజల దృష్టిలో పార్టీలు చులకన అయిపోతున్నాయి కూడా. ఇలా మత్తగజాలు కొట్లాడుకుంటూ ఉంటే.. మధ్యలో చిన్న జంతువులు లాభపడినట్టుగా.. వీరి పోరాటం మధ్యలో లాభపడాలని కాంగ్రెస్ ఆలోచిస్తున్నట్టుగా కనిపిస్తోంది.
ఏపీలో రాళ్ల పంచాయతీ నడుస్తోందని, ఇలాంటి చిల్లర విషయాల మీద కొట్టుకునే పార్టీలు ఉంటే ఏమొస్తుందని.. ఇలాంటి నాయకుల్ని నమ్ముకునే బదులుగా.. ఏపీ ప్రజలు ఒకసారి కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ గురించి ఆలోచన చేయాలని తెలంగాణ కాంగ్రెస్ నేత జగ్గారెడ్డి అంటున్నారు.

అంటే ఏమిటన్న మాట.. ఏపీలోని తెలుగుదేశం, వైసీపీ పార్టీలు ఇలాంటి రాళ్ల పంచాయతీమీద టైం వేస్టు చేస్తూ చిల్లర రాజకీయం చేస్తున్నాయి కాబట్టి, అలాంటి వాళ్లను కాకుండా.. కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీని ఎన్నుకుంటే కేవలం ప్రజల గురించి మాత్రమే ఆలోచిస్తుందని ఆయన హామీ ఇస్తున్నారన్నమాట.

ఏపీలో కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ పదేళ్ల కిందటే శవాసనం వేసిన సంగతి అందరికీ తెలుసు. ఏదో ఇప్పుడ కాస్త దూకుడుగా మాట్లాడగల షర్మిలను పార్టీ సారథిగా చేసినందువలన.. పార్టీ యొక్క ఓట్ షేర్ కొంతవరకైనా పెంచుకోగలమని కాంగ్రెస్ కాన్సంట్రేట్ చేస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికి కూడా ఒక్కసీటైనా గెలుస్తామనే నమ్మకం వారికి కూడా లేదు. షర్మిల కడప లోక్ సభ స్థానంలో ‘అవినాష్ హంతకుడు- జగన్ రక్షకుడు’ అనే నినాదంతో దూసుకుపోతున్నారు గానీ.. ఆ నినాదం ఆమెను ఎంపీగా గెలిపిస్తుందో లేదో డౌటే. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కూడా ఏపీలో ప్రచారానికి వెళ్తారని అంటున్నారు. అయినా సరే.. ఓటు షేర్ పెంచుకోడానికే తప్ప గెలవడానికి కాదు అనేది అందరూ అంటున్నమాట. ఇలాటి సమయంలో , ఆ రెండు పార్టీలు కాదని కాంగ్రెస్ ను ప్రజలు గమనించుకోండి అని జగ్గారెడ్డి అనడం కామెడీగా ఉన్నదని ప్రజలు భావిస్తున్నారు.

తీగలాగితే డొంక కదలడం గురించి మనకు తెలుసు. కానీ, తీగలాగితే ఏకంగా భవంతులు, హర్మ్యాలు, వాటికోసం నిర్మించిన పునాదులు కూడా కదులుతున్నాయి యిక్కడ. ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి సభలకు విపరీతంగా జనాదరణ వెల్లువెత్తుతున్నదంటూ ఆయన అనుకూల మీడియాలో నిత్యం ఊదరగొడుతూ ఉంటారు. జగనన్నను చూడడానికి రోడ్డుమీదికి జనం ఎగబడి వస్తున్నారంటూ పదేపదే చెబుతూ ఉంటారు. వారినందరినీ జగనన్న పలకరించి నెత్తి నిమిరి ఆశీర్వదిస్తూ ఉంటారు కూడా. అయితే, ఇదంతా నిజమైన ప్రజాదరణేనా? అనే సందేహం ఎవరికైనా కలగవచ్చు. ఇందులో చాలా బూటకం ఉన్నదని, వారందరూ పెయిడ్ కూలీలుగా పార్టీ నేతలు తీసుకువస్తున్న నిరుపేదలని బయటపడుతోంది. ఎలా బయటపడుతోంది అనుకున్నారు? జగనన్న మీద ఎవడో ఆకతాయి రాసి విసిరిన కేసు వలన!

ఆకతాయి రాయి విసరడాన్ని చాలా సీరియస్ గా తీసుకుని 8 బృందాలుగా దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్న పోలీసులు.. విజయవాడలోని వడ్డెర కాలనీకి చెందిన అయిదుగురు కుర్రాళ్లను అదుపులోకి తీసుకుని ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నారు. వీరిలో సతీష్ అనే కుర్రాడు జగన్ మీద రాయి విసిరాడని పోలీసులు అనుమానిస్తున్నారు. ఘటన జరిగిన సమయంలో స్థానికులు తీస్తూ ఉండిన కొన్ని వీడియోలను పరిశీలించి ఇలాంటి నిర్ధరణకు వచ్చినట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది. పోలీసులు అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్న అయిదుగురు కుర్రాళ్లలో సతీష్ అనే కుర్రాడు మాత్రమే మేజర్. మిగిలిన వారు బాలలు. వారంతా ప్రస్తుతం పోలీసు నిర్బంధంలో ఉన్నారు.

మరోవైపు తమ పిల్లలను పోలీసులు అన్యాయంగా తీసుకువెళ్లారని ఆ కాలనీ వాసులు ఆరోపిస్తున్నారు. వారిని విడిచిపెట్టాలని వడ్డెరకాలనీ వాసులు డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు. అయితే ఈ క్రమంలో భాగంగా.. జగన్ సభలకు జనాన్ని తరలించడానికి వైసీపీ చేస్తున్న అడ్డదారులు కూడా బయటకు వస్తున్నాయి. పార్టీ జెండా పట్టుకుని రోడ్డు పక్కన నిలబడితే 300 ఇస్తామని చెప్పారని, ఆ డబ్బుకు ఆశపడి వెళ్లినందుకు ఇప్పుడు తమను పోలీసులు వేధిస్తున్నారని ఆ కాలనీ వాసులు వాపోతున్నారు. జగన్ సభలకు జనాన్ని ఎలా తరలిస్తున్నారో ఈ మాటలను బట్టి అర్థమవుతోంది.

సభలకు తరలించిన జనం.. పేమెంట్ అయిన వెంటనే క్షణం కూడా అక్కడ ఉండడం లేదు. తిరిగి వెళ్లిపోతున్నారు. విజయవాడ రోడ్డుషో హోరెత్తిపోయింది అనుకుంటే.. అక్కడి జనం అంతా ఇలా తరలించిన వారే అని తెలిసిపోతోంది.

ఇక్కడే ఇంకో ట్విస్టు కూడా ఉంది. జగన్ సభకు వస్తే క్వార్టర్ బాటిల్ తో పాటు 350 రూపాయలు ఇస్తామని అన్నారని, క్వార్టర్ ఇచ్చారే తప్ప 350 ఇవ్వలేదని అందుకే జగన్ మీద రాయి విసిరానని పోలీసుల అదుపులో ఉన్న యువకుడు చెప్పినట్టుగా ఒక పుకారు వినిపించింది. అయితే ధ్రువపడలేదు.

At a time BRS leaders and even some Congress leaders are accusing that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy roots based in RSS and BJP and at an appropriate time he will migrate to BJP, taking a bunch of Congress MLAs with him, BJP MP Dharmapuri Aravind has openly invited him to join BJP.

Nizamabad MP Arvind, who is again contesting in the polls, said that he would cordially invite Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to join the BJP. He said, as a friend, he would help Revanth join the BJP. However, he said that he would only recommend that Revanth should be taken into the party, if Revanth Reddy is desires.

But a decision on inducting him into the party has to be taken by the BJP national president JP Nadda and State President Kishan Reddy, he said. He made these key comments while conducting a door to door campaign in Nizamabad. Last week also he made similar comments inviting Revanth Reddy into the party.

While other BJP leaders, including BJP Legislative Party leader Maheshwar Reddy are criticizing Revanth Reddy’s four-months old and making severe charges of corruption against him, Aravind hailed him as a very active leader.


Moreover, he also said that it would be good to have such a leader in BJP. His comments are likely to create confusion among leaders of both BJP and Congress. Further, he cautioned that  the Congress government is inefficient and if Revanth continues in the Congress, he will become inefficient.

He also warned Revanth Reddy that Congress leadership may not allow him to do his work and indicated that he may not continue as Chief Minister for a long time. He advised Revanth Reddy to take a decision soon about joining BJP. Otherwise, he cautioned continuing in Congress may destroy his political future unnecessarily.

It may be recalled that some BRS leaders are alleging that after Lok Sabha elections Revanth Reddy will migrate to BJP and even some of senior Congress leaders, including few of his ministerial colleagues allegedly complained with the Congress high-command on Revanth’s proximity with BJP leaders.

BRS Executive President and former minister K T Rama Rao continues raising doubts over the political affiliations’ of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He advised Congress leaders to say which party Revanth Reddy belongs to.

Speculating that after Lok Sabha elections, Revanth Reddy would be the first  to migrate to BJP, he asked the people to think whether the Chief Minister was a confidante of Rahul Gandhi or Narendra Modi. He also challenged Revanth Reddy to answer whether he is a representative of BJP or Congress.

It may be recalled that Revanth Reddy had started his political journey from BJP and he was silent even when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was very critical of his government during election campaigns in Telangana.

Addressing a party meeting in the Adilabad Parliament segment, Rama Rao cautioned that every vote to the Congress would ultimately benefit the BJP. He warned that reservations given to SCs and STs would be abrogated if the BJP came to power again.

Ridiculing Revanth Reddy for calling Modi ‘Bade Bhai’, even while Rahul Gandhi was calling Modi ‘chor’, exposing the dual standards of the Congress, Rama Rao found fault with the government for claiming to have fulfilled jobs even without giving notifications.

“Is Modi a God for privatising public sector undertakings? Where has the proposed Bayyaram steel plant gone? Why is Cement Corporation of India’s sick unit in Adilabad not revived so far?” he asked.

Reiterating that the BRS would never topple the Congress-led State government, he advised Revanth Reddy to continue in the post for five years and to keep his poll promises.

Expressing anger over some people talking about BRS as B team of BJP, KTR said that they should remember that BRS candidates defeated people like Eatala Rajender, Dharmapuri Arvind and Bandi Sanjay in the assembly elections. He said that the Modi government has cut off public sector institutions. Why should you vote for the BJP which will not give anything to Telangana, he asked.

EC Bans Randeep Surjewala From Campaigning For 48 Hrs

The Election Commission on Tuesday barred Congress general secretary Randeep Surjewala from campaigning for 48 hours over his alleged derogatory remarks against BJP MP Hema Malini. This is the first time the poll body has imposed such a ban on a political leader in this Lok Sabha election cycle.

The BJP had moved the EC against Surjewala for his “vulgar, sexist and disparaging public utterances” against Hema Malini and the poll panel issued a show-cause notice to the Congress leader last Tuesday.

In its notice, the EC had said that on careful examination, the comments made by Surjewala were found to be “highly undignified, vulgar and uncivilised” and to be prima facie violative of the provisions of the model code of conduct.

In his reply, the Congress leader, however, claimed that the video of his speech cited by the BJP was “doctored”. The poll panel, however, rejected his claims and noted that he had violated the model code of conduct. 

“The commission without prejudice to any order/notice issued or to be issued subsequently to him in the matter relating to MCC violations, hereby, strongly condemns the impugned statement made by him during the election campaign held in Haryana and reprimands Randeep Surjewala for the misconduct,” the order said.

Surjewala cannot hold any public meetings, public processions, public rallies, road shows and interviews, public utterances in media (electronic, print, social media) in connection with ongoing elections for 48 hours from 6 pm on April 16. Hema Malini, the sitting MP from Mathura, is contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from the seat.

Surjewala was heard saying in the purported video, “Here is no Hema Malini who can make people licking…no film star. We also respect Hema Malini because she is married to Dharmendra and is our daughter-in-law. These people can be film stars. But, we are not like them. You make me or Gupta ji an MP-MLA so that we can serve you.”
