Allu Arjun Keeps Two Directors In Waiting Mode

The suspense over Allu Arjun’s next film continues even as the shooting formalities of his much-anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2, are nearing completion. There was speculation in the industry circles that he would make a formal announcement about his project on his birthday. However, fans were disappointed as there was no such development on March 8th as expected by the media circles.  

It is a well-known fact that Hotshot Tamil director Atlee, who delivered a pan-India blockbuster with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, is the forerunner to direct Allu Arjun in a commercial potboiler. Atlee and Bunny held several story discussions in Hyderabad in recent times. So, it was expected that an official statement about this crazy project would be made even before he wraps up Pushpa 2. Surprisingly, Allu Arjun and his team have been maintaining a stoic silence on this project. 

Meanwhile, Tollywood director Trivikram Srinivas is also eagerly waiting for Allu Arjun’s call. Last year, a massive announcement was made regarding Trivikram’s first pan-India outing with Allu Arjun. Since then, there has been no update whatsoever on this project. While there are murmurs in Tollywood that the disappointing result of Trivikram’s Guntur Kaaram is likely to impact the prospects of this project, Allu Arjun is keeping mum on the ongoing rumours. 

Reliable reports from Allu Arjun’s camp revealed that both these projects are very much happening and there is a strong probability that he might shoot for them simultaneously. For the time being, both Atlee and Trivikram need to play the waiting game because there is no other option for them.

అధికారంలో ఉన్న వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి కొమ్ముకాస్తున్న ఉన్నతాధికారులపై ఎన్నికల సంఘం నిర్దాక్షిణ్యంగా వేటు వేసే పర్వం ఇంకా కొనసాగుతూనే ఉంది. తాజాగా విజయవాడ నగర కమిషనర్, ఇంటెలిజెన్స్ చీఫ్ పీఎస్ఆర్ ఆంజనేయులు లపై ఎన్నికల సంఘం వేటు వేసింది. వీరి స్థానంలో కొత్త అధికారులు కూడా నియమితులు అయ్యారు.

కానీ ఈ పరిణామంపై కూడా విపక్షాల్లో భయాలు అసంతృప్తులు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. గతంలో కూడా కొందరు ఐపీఎస్ అధికారులు.. అధికార వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ కు అనుకూలంగా పనిచేస్తున్నారనే ఫిర్యాదుల మీద ఎన్నికల సంఘం గతంలో బాధ్యతల నుంచి తప్పించింది. ఇప్పుడు అడిగిన తరహాలోనే అప్పుడు కూడా.. ప్రతి పోస్టుకు ముగ్గురు అధికార పేర్లతో ప్యానెల్ ను సూచించాల్సిందిగా సీఎస్ ను కోరారు. ఆయన పంపిన జాబితాలో పేర్లనుంచి ఒకరిని ఎంపిక చేసి ఆ బాధ్యతల్లో ఈసీ నియమించింది. అయితే సీఎస్ సూచించిన ప్యానెల్ లోని అన్ని పేర్లు కూడా.. వైసీపీ కి అనుకూలంగా ఉండే నాయకులవే అనే ఆరోపణలు అప్పట్లో వినిపించాయి. దానిపై తీవ్రదుమారం చెలరేగింది. ప్రస్తుతం అలాంటి పరిస్థితి రాలేదు.

ఇంటెలిజెన్స్ చీఫ్ గా కుమార్ విశ్వజిత్, విజయవాడ నగర్ కమిషనర్ గా పీహెచ్‌డీ రామక్రిష్ణ నియమితులయ్యారు. ఈ ఇద్దరికీ కూడా క్లీన్ ట్రాక్ రికార్డు ఉంది. నిబంధనల ప్రకారం మాత్రమే వ్యవహరించే వారుగా, ఒత్తిళ్లకు తలొగ్గని అధికారులుగా గుర్తింపు ఉంది. ఇప్పటికి మంచి అధికారులు వచ్చినట్టే.

కానీ పలు జిల్లాల్లో అదుపుతప్పుతున్న శాంతిభద్రతల పరిస్థితి, సందేహాస్పదంగా మారుతున్న ఉన్నతాధికారులు తీరు మీద ఎన్నికల సంఘానికి ఫిర్యాదులు అందుతూనే ఉన్నాయి. వీరిని మార్చడం అనే ప్రక్రియ పారదర్శకంగా జరగాలంటే.. ముందు పెద్దతలకాయలు సీఎస్, డీజీపీలను మారిస్తే తప్ప సాధ్యం కాదని ప్రతిపక్షాలు విమర్శిస్తున్నాయి.

తెలుగుదేశం నాయకులు ఇప్పటికే పలుమార్లు డీజీపీ రాజేంద్రనాథ్ రెడ్డి, సీఎస్ జవహర్ రెడ్డి ల వ్యవహార సరళి గురించి ఎన్నికల సంఘానికి ఫిర్యాదుచేసింది. ఏప్రిల్ పింఛన్ల పంపిణీలో సీఎస్ ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగా అధికార పార్టీ ఆదేశాల మేరకు జాప్యం చేయడం వల్లనే అనేక మంది ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారని కూడా తెలుగుదేశం ఆరోపించింది. ఎన్నికల సమయంలో అధికార యంత్రాంగం విధులు నిర్వర్తించడం అంతా సవ్యంగా ఉండాలంటే.. ముందు డీజీపీ, సీఎస్ లను మార్చాల్సిన అవసరం ఉన్నదని పలువురు విమర్శిస్తున్నారు.

కేవలం తమ రాజకీయ ప్రత్యర్థిని దోషిగా ప్రజల ముందు నిలబెట్టడం కోసం.. కేవలం తమ వక్ర రాజకీయ అనుచిత ప్రయోజనాల కోసం పదులసంఖ్యలో ముసలివాళ్ల ప్రాణాలను బలితీసుకున్న ప్రభుత్వం ఇది! వృద్ధులకు వికలాంగులకు ఇళ్ల వద్దనే పెన్షను అందజేయడానికి తగిన మానవవనరుల లభ్యత క్షేత్రస్థాయి వరకు పుష్కలంగానే ఉన్నప్పటికీ కూడా.. వినియోగించుకుండా.. వారిని రోడ్ల పాల్జేసి వారి ఉసురుపోసుకున్న ప్రభుత్వం ఇది. ఇప్పుడు మే నెల వస్తోంది. ఇంకా సమయం ఉంది. కనీసం ఇప్పుడైనా.. వృద్ధులకు వికలాంగులకు వితంతువులకు లబ్ధిదారులు అందరికీ ఇళ్ల వద్దకే పెన్షను అందేలా.. ఒకటో తేదీ దాటి జాప్యం జరగకుండా ఉండేలా ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకోవాల్సి ఉంది. ప్రభుత్వం కుట్రలను ఏప్రిల్ పింఛన్ల పంపిణీ సమయంలో గమనించిన ప్రతిపక్ష నాయకులు చంద్రబాబునాయుడు, పవన్ కల్యాణ్ కూడా అదే విషయంలో ఆందోళన చెందుతున్నారు.

వాలంటీర్ల ద్వారా పెన్షను లబ్ధిదారులను ప్రలోభ పెట్టి వారిని మాయచేసి వైఎస్సార్ సీపీకి అనుకూలంగా ఓట్లు వేయించుకోవాలని అధికార పార్టీ అనేక కుట్ర రచనలు చేసింది. ఎన్నికల సీజను వచ్చిన తర్వాత.. వాలంటీర్లతో సమావేశాలు పెట్టుకుని వారికి తాయిలాలు ఇచ్చి, భారీ నగదు కానుకలు ఇచ్చి ముందు వారిని ప్రలోభపెట్టడం ద్వారా లబ్ధిపొందాలని వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్  కు చెందిన అభ్యర్థులంతా కూడా వ్యూహాలు చేశారు. కానీ.. సిటిజన్ ఫోరమ్ ఫర్ డెమాక్రసీ వారి ఫిర్యాదుతో ఈసీ జోక్యం చేసుకోవడం.. వాలంటీర్లను పెన్షన్ల పంపిణీకి ఈ రెండునెలల పాటు దూరంగా ఉంచాలని ఆదేశించడంతో వారి కుట్రలకు బ్రేక్ పడింది.

ఈసీ ఆదేశాలు వచ్చిన వెంటనే.. గ్రామ సచివాలయాల సిబ్బంది ద్వారా.. లబ్ధిదారులు అందరికీ ఇళ్లవద్దకే పింఛన్లు పంపే ఏర్పాటు చేయాలంటూ చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ఈసీకి, సీఎస్ జవహర్ రెడ్డికి లేఖలు కూడా రాశారు. కానీ.. సీఎస్ వాటిని ఖాతరు చేయలేదు. అందరూ సచివాలయాల వద్దకు వచ్చి పింఛన్లు తీసుకోవాలనేలా ఉత్తర్వులు జారీచేశారు. ఒకవైపు మండే ఎండలు, వృద్ధులందరినీ రమ్మనడంతో పలువురు చనిపోయారు కూడా. ఈ చావులన్నింటినీ చంద్రబాబు ఖాతాలో వేసేసి రాజకీయ లబ్ధి పొందాలని వైసీపీ అనుకున్నది. కానీ అచ్చంగా అది ప్రభుత్వ వైఫల్యమే అనే సంగతి ప్రజల్లోకి వెళ్లింది.

ఇప్పుడు మేనెల వస్తున్న సమయంలో.. ఇంకా సమయం ఉంది. ప్రజల ప్రాణాలు బలితీసుకోకుండా ప్రభుత్వం ఇళ్లవద్దకే పింఛన్లు అందించేలా ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాల్సి ఉంది. చంద్రబాబునాయుడు కూడా ఈ మేరకు ముందుగానే ఎన్నికల సంఘానికి చొరవ తీసుకోవాల్సిందిగా లేఖ రాశారు. మరి సీఎస్ ఎలాంటి నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంటారో, ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తారో చూడాలి.

Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh, accusing the YSRCP government of having incurred the state lakhs of crores of rupees debt, said that it burdened every citizen with debt.

Addressing a meeting with intellectuals in Visakhapatnam he introduced TDP Lok Sabha Candidate Bharath and BJP Assembly candidate Vishnukumar Raju and urged support candidates of NDA in the state to put an end to YCP’s corrupt regime.

He accused the YCP government of emptying the entire treasury and putting the burden of taxes on the people. In the end, he expressed his anger saying that even the garbage was taxed and tortured. Rajnath Singh flagged that the Jagan government has made Visakhapatnam a hub for sending drugs to AP.

 He expressed concern that land mafia, human trafficking mafia and mining mafia are roaming in AP. He criticized Jagan’s government for being completely bogged down in corrupt allegations. He assured that the NDA alliance will ensure the development of the state.

Rajnath Singh criticized Jagan’s government for not taking any steps to complete the Polavaram project. He made it clear that the day to oust the YCP government is coming soon. Rajnath made it clear that the alliance government will provide the necessary assurance for the development of the state.

Rajnath reminded that the NDA government has shown respect towards the Telugu people by giving the Bharat Ratna to the Telugu child PV Narasimha Rao, who was ignored by the Congress party. He also said that the Narendra Modi government at the center after re-electing will take all measures for simultaneous elections in the country in the next five years.

The Union Defence Minister cautioned that the Congress party is trying to divide the country on the basis of religion. He criticized the party for trying to give reservations on the basis of religion which was not approved by the constitution.

He said that the NDA government has taken many measures for the development of minorities without any discrimination. He said that the Congress party when in power tried to make religious calculations even in the Indian Army. Rajnath Singh also said  that presently minorities are getting equal opportunities in government jobs without any discrimination.

Besides Varun Dhawan portraying the titular character, the film ensembles a stellar cast, including Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sanya Malhotra, Jackie Shroff, Pankaj Tripathi, and many more in pivotal roles. The film marks the first collaboration between Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh. The film will also mark Keerthy Suresh’s debut in Bollywood. 

‘Baby John’, promising a compelling narrative, stellar acting, and adrenaline-fueled action sequences, is set to captivate audiences with its cinematic experience. The film is backed by Jio Studios, Atlee, in association with Apple Studios, and Cine1 Studios. SS Thaman is composing the tunes for this action flick. The film was slated to hit theaters on May 31, 2024.

During the election in AP, the war of words between YS Rajasekhar Reddy (YSR) TPCC president YS Sharmila and Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy turned bold. Already, Jagan’s comments targeting Sharmila in the case of his uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder heated up with mutual contradictions.

In continuation of blame game between brother and sister, Sharmila responded critically over Jaganmohan Reddy addressing minister Botsa Sathyanarayana at Vizianagaram on Tuesday as his `father-like figure’. She lamented that the entire cabinet of YS Jagan was filled with those who abused their father Rajasekhar Reddy.

Addressing an election rally in Repalle on Wednesday, she referred to how Botsa earlier abused YSR and insulted him on the floor of the Assembly. She deplored that Botsa cursed YSR as a drunkard and said that Jagan should be hanged. Further, he alleged that Jagan had several benamies. She expressed concern that he even humiliated their mother Vijayamma also.

Sharmila deplored that those abused YSR and his family members are now fathers, sisters and brothers to Jagan. But those who really worked for him are nothing to him. What about the people who did padayatras for Jagan? What about those who worked for him and were axed?, she asked.

She lamented that there is no YSR in the name of the YSRCP party.. Y stands for YV Subba Reddy, S stands for Sai Reddy, R stands for Ramakrishna Reddy, she said, adding a new meaning to YSRCP.

Meanwhile, she asked people that has there been any development in Repalle in the last 10 years?, Is justice been done to any community? Sharmila asked people. “Has there been development in Repalle in 10 years? Jagan has come here and guaranteed check dams will be built and irrigation will be given to lakhs of acres. He promised a 100-bed hospital. He said Aqua Park for Aqua Farmers. Promised to provide tap connection to every house. He said he would build a shipping harbor. But not a single promise has been fulfilled, she added.

Congress Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy challenged former chief minister and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao’s claims that his party will win 8 to 12 Lok Sabha seats in the present elections. He said that if BRS wins such a number of seats he would resign from the cabinet.

He said that he will resign even if BRS wins a lower number of 8 Lok Sabha seats. KCR, said in a debate on a TV channel on Tuesday evening that BRS is likely to win 8 to 12 MP seats. Komati Reddy accused that KCR is telling all lies. He said that KCR did not solve the fluoride problem in Nalgonda.

Komati Reddy also strongly refuted KCR’s claims that as many as  25 Congress MLAs are in touch with him. Claiming about 25 MLAs from BRS are ready to join Congress, Komatireddy challenged them to reveal their names. He asked can KCR reveal Congress MLAs names who are in touch with him?

Komatireddy expressed confidence that the Congress party is winning 12 MP seats in Telangana in the next parliamentary elections. He also refuted KCR’s comments that the chief minister or ministers will not hold responsibility for phone tapping in a government. He asserted that the chief minister and cabinet should be held responsible for any such mischief in a government.

Meanwhile, former BRS finance minister T. Harish Rao said that he is ready to take on the challenge of chief minister Revanth Reddy on loan waiver. He challenged Revanth Reddy that he will resign from the post of MLA if loan is waived by August 15. If the loan is not waived, will Revanth resign from the post of CM?, he asked.

If the Chief Minister is ready to accept his challenge, dare him to come to the Assembly premises in two days. Let both of us swear before the Martyrs Stupam, he said. He challenged Revanth to implement all the guarantees given to people by August 15.  On August 15, he said that he will resign from his MLA post if the loan is fully waived and will not contest again in the by-elections.
