Former minister and veteran Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham, who has been making moves in support of chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and doing everything to save him from the `political onsaulght’ of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, seems to be first time facing a bold jolt from his own daughter Mudragada Kranthi Bharathi.
A day after his challenge to defeat Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram and to change his name as `Padmanabha Reddy’, if he fails to defeat him, she lashes out at him. She said that his father is free to support a candidate or a party, but changing name in such a way may be `meaningless’.
Mudragada is campaigning for YCP candidate Vanga Geetha in Pithapuram. In that order, Mudragada Padmanabham made sensational comments on Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. He proudly declared that YCP will win from here by winning in kicking out Pawan Kalyan.
Further, surprisingly he challenged that if Vanga Geetha does not win in Pithapuram, he will change his name to Mudragada Padmanabha Reddy. In a video tweet, extending her support to Pawan Kalyan, his daughter Kranti Bharti expressed anger and anguish towards her father’s challenge.
The video was tweeted on social media X. Kranti Bharti introduced herself in the video. She said that it is not wrong that her father may work and struggle for the victory of YCP candidate Vanga Geetha. But, she deplored the language spoken about Pawan Kalyan for Jagan’s praise and said that is not correct.
She politely advised her father that he should not speak such language, kindling Pawan Kalyan and his fans. Advising her father to change his language, she made it clear that he can get nothing by abusing Pawan Kalyan.
She deplored that CM Jagan is using her father for the sake of elections and after elections he will not bother about her father. She prayed that her father should realise designs of CM Jagan.
Kranti Bharti declared that she would do her best for the victory of Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram. Mudragada Padmanabham, who rose to fame through Kapu reservation stir joined YCP just before elections, but did not contest from anywhere.
He is mainly focusing on Pithapuram constituency aiming at defeating of Pawan Kalyan, As Kapus are in more number in the constituency and Pawan Kalyan’s rival and YCP candidate Vanga Geetha is also from the same community, political observers felt that CM Jagan is using Mudragada to abuse Pawan by using a prominent Kapu leader.
Many are realising that Mudragada unknowingly falling into Jagan’s trap, his daughters entry into the stage in support of Pawan Kalyan and criticising her father’s attitude naturally creating jubiliance among Jana Sena and its alliance parties.
