టాలీవుడ్ లో మోస్ట్ ఎలిజిబుల్‌ బ్యాచిలర్స్‌ అందరూ కూడా పెళ్లి పీటలెక్కుతున్నారు. తాజాగా యువ హీరో కిరణ్‌ అబ్బవరం నిశ్చితార్థం చేసుకోబోతున్నట్లు ప్రకటించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈ బాటలోనే ఇప్పుడు డీజే టిల్లు… సిద్దు జొన్నలగడ్డ కూడా ప్రయాణిస్తున్నట్లు తెలుస్తుంది. ఈ విషయం గురించి స్వయంగా టిల్లు తమ్ముడే వెల్లడించాడు.

బబుల్ గం సినిమాతో టిల్లు సోదరుడు చైతు జొన్నలగడ్డ మంచి పేరు సంపాదించుకున్నాడు. తాజాగా ఆయన ఓ యూట్యూబ్‌ ఛానెల్ ఇంటర్వ్యూలో పాల్గొన్నాడు.  ఈ క్రమంలో యాంకర్‌ సిద్దు జొన్నలగడ్డ గురించి కొన్ని ప్రశ్నలు అడిగింది. ఆ ప్రశ్నలలోనే సిద్దు పెళ్లి ప్రస్తావన కూడా వచ్చింది.

సిద్దు చాలా కాలం నుంచి ఓ స్టార్‌ హీరోయిన్‌ తో ప్రేమలో ఉన్నట్లు ఇండస్ట్రీలో టాక్‌ వినిపిస్తుంది. అది నిజమేనా అని ప్రశ్నించారు. అంతేకాకుండా వచ్చే ఏడాదే ఆ హీరోయిన్‌ తో వివాహం కూడా జరగనున్నట్లు సమాచారం వస్తుందని, ఆమె ఎవరూ అంటూ యాంకర్‌ పలు ప్రశ్నలు సంధించాడు. దానికి చైతూ నవ్వుతూ.. స్టార్‌ హీరోయిన్‌ ని చేసుకుంటే ఎలాంటి ప్రాబ్లం లేదు కానీ… స్టార్‌ హీరోను చేసుకుంటేనే ప్లాబ్లం అంటూ నవ్వేశాడు.

అయితే స్టార్‌ హీరోయిన్‌ నే చేసుకుంటాడో లేదో అంతగా తెలియదు కానీ.. వచ్చే ఏడాది మాత్రం అతను పెళ్లి చేసుకునే ఉద్దేశం అయితే ఉందని చైతూ తెలిపాడు. సమయానికి అన్ని కుదిరితే జరిగిపోవచ్చని చైతూ వివరించాడు.

నాకు ఈ మధ్య ఆ పిచ్చి ఎక్కువ అయ్యింది: మెగా డాటర్‌ నిహారిక

మెగా ఫ్యామిలీ నుంచి హీరోలు మాత్రమే కాకుండా హీరోయిన్‌ గా ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చింది. మెగా కుటుంబం నుంచి మొట్టమొదట కథానాయికగా వచ్చిన్నప్పటికీ ఇండస్ట్రీలో నిలబడలేకపోయింది. దీంతో చేసేదేమి లేక పెళ్లి చేసుకుంది. అది కూడా మూణాళ్ల ముచ్చటగానే మిగిలింది. పెళ్లైన మూడు సంవత్సరాలకే విడాకులు ఇచ్చేసింది.

ఆ తరువాత కొంత కాలం ఆమె తన స్నేహితులతో కలిసి రిఫ్రెష్‌ అవ్వడానికి విదేశాలకు చెక్కేసింది. మళ్లీ హీరోయిన్‌ గా ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చేందుకు నిహారిక సిద్దమైనట్లు తెలుస్తుంది. కొద్ది రోజుల క్రితం నిర్మాతగా ఓ మూవీని స్టార్ట్‌ చేసింది. త్వరలోనే నటిగా కూడా రాబోతున్నట్లు తెలిపింది. తాజాగా నిహారిక  ఆహా యాప్‌ లో ఓ కార్యక్రమానికి యాంకర్‌ గా మారిపోయింది.

చెఫ్‌ మంత్ర సీజన్‌ 3 కి అన్ని తానై చూసుకుంటుంది. అంతర్జాతీయ మహిళా దినోత్సవం రోజున ఈ షో మొదటి ఎపిసోడ్‌ కూడా స్ట్రీమింగ్‌ అయ్యింది. అయితే తాజాగా నిహారిక ఓ ఇంటర్వ్యూలో పాల్గొంది. అందులో తనకి సంబంధించి పలు ఆసక్తికరమైన విషయాలను పంచుకుంది.

ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో నాకు తిండి పిచ్చి ఎక్కువ అయ్యింది. అందులోనూ ముఖ్యంగా పప్పు చారు కనిపిస్తే అసలు విడిచిపెట్టడం లేదు. దాంతో పాటు ప్రయాణాలంటే మరీ ఇష్టం పెరిగిపోయింది. అందుకే సడెన్‌ గా ఎక్కడికి వెళ్లాలి అనిపిస్తే అక్కడికి వెళ్లిపోతున్నాను.ఆ ప్రయాణాలకు అయ్యే ఖర్చు అంతటిని కూడా నేనే కష్టపడి దాచుకుంటున్నాను. నాకు కమర్షియల్‌ సినిమాల్లో యాక్ట్‌ చేయాలని ఉంది.

కానీ ఇప్పటి వరకు ఏ డైరెక్టర్‌ కూడా అలాంటి అవకాశం ఇవ్వలేదు. రానున్న రోజుల్లో అలాంటి పాత్రలు వస్తే మాత్రం కచ్చితంగా చేస్తా అంటూ చెప్పుకొచ్చింది. ఇక చెఫ్‌ మంత్ర షో గురించి చెప్పుకొచ్చింది. ఆ షో కి నాన్నమ్మను, సురేఖ అమ్మను, ఉపాసన వదినను తీసుకురావాలని ఉందని వివరించింది.

నాకు ఆడిషన్స్‌ కు వెళ్లడం అంటే చాలా ఇష్టమని కూడా వివరించింది. కానీ ఇప్పటి వరకు ఏ డైరెక్టర్‌ కూడా నన్ను ఆడిషన్‌ చేయలేదు. ఎందుకంటే నేను పెద్ద కుటుంబం నుంచి రావడమే దానికి కారణం. కానీ ఎవరైనా ఆడిషన్ కి పిలిస్తే మాత్రం కచ్చితంగా ఆడిషన్‌ కి వెళ్తాను అంటూ చెప్పుకొచ్చింది.

Mega heroes Vizag bound for shootings

Mega heroes Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are currently busy shooting for their upcoming films which are in different stages of production. While Pushpa 2, a sequel to Sukumar’s 2021 crime saga Pushpa, is undoubtedly the most eagerly anticipated pan-India film of 2024, Shankar’s political thriller ‘Game Changer’ is also generating immense buzz all over. 

Coincidentally, both Pushpa 2 and Game Changer will be shot in the popular coastal city of South India, Vishakapatnam in the next few days. While Pushpa 2 will be canned for a brief period of a few days, Game Changer will have a massive schedule of 20 days in which important episodes on Ram Charan will be shot by Shankar and his team. 

Allu Arjun landed in Vizag on Sunday and received a roaring welcome from his fans. Sukumar also joined him later in the evening. In the next couple of days, some crucial scenes featuring Bunny will be picturized by the team. Meanwhile, Charan will soon head to the same city this week for a long schedule. Shankar wants to shoot Charan’s flashback episodes in the surroundings of the city. 

While Pushpa 2 is aiming for release on August 15th, Game Changer is yet to lock the date. On the eve of Ram Charan’s birthday this 27th, an official announcement regarding the release date will be out.

ఒకవైపేమో వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ నాయకులు జగన్ ఒక బహిరంగ సభ నిర్వహిస్తుంటే చాలు.. సభకు హాజరయ్యే ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ 500 రూపాయల డబ్బు, క్వార్టర్ బాటిల్ మద్యం ఇస్తున్నారు. మహిళలకు ఇతర తాయిలాలు అందిస్తున్నారు. అదే సమయంలో వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ లో చేరడానికి వస్తున్న ముద్రగడ పద్మనాభం మాత్రం.. తన వెంట వచ్చే వారికి కనీసం భోజనాలు కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేయడం లేదంటూ ముందుగానే హెచ్చరించేశారు. ఈ మేరకు తన అభిమానులు (?) అందరకూ ఒక సుదీర్ఘమైన బహిరంగ లేఖ రాసిన ముద్రగడ పద్మనాభం.. అందులో రెండు అంశాలను ప్రత్యేకంగా పేర్కొన్నారు. ఒకటి- తన ర్యాలీ తాడేపల్లికి వెళ్లే రూట్ మ్యాప్ కాగా, రెండోది- తన వెంట తాడేపల్లికి వచ్చేవాళ్లు ఎవరి ఆహారం, ఇతర అవసరాలు తమతో పాటు తమ వాహనంలోనే తెచ్చుకోవాలనే సూచన.
ముద్రగడ పద్మనాభం.. ఈనెల 14వ తేదీన వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీలో చేరబోతున్నారు. కిర్లంపూడి గ్రామంలోని తన ఇంటినుంచి ఉదయం 7 గంటలకు బయల్దేరి సాయంత్రానికి తాడేపల్లి చేరుకోవాలనేది ముద్రగడ ప్లాన్ గా ఉంది. అయితే చాలా పెద్ద ర్యాలీగా వందల వాహనాలతో తాడేపల్లికి వెళ్లడం ద్వారా.. రాష్ట్రంలోనే కాపు కులానికి చలా పెద్ద నాయకుడిని అని జగన్ వద్ద బిల్డప్ ఇచ్చుకోవడం ముద్రగడ టార్గెట్గా ఉంది. ఈ టార్గెట్ ను అందుకోవడానికి ఆయన ఇప్పటికే తన అనుచరులకు అభిమానులకు ఫోను ద్వారా వర్తమానాలు పంపుతున్నారు. ఎన్ని వీలైతే అన్ని అదనంగా కూడా వాహనాలు తీసుకుని తాను వైసీపీలో చేరే ర్యాలీకి రావాలని ఆయన ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నారు.
ముద్రగడ ఆహ్వానాలు పంపడం బాగానే ఉంది. అయితే అధికార పార్టీలోకి వెళుతున్న ఆయన తనకోసం వస్తున్న వారికి కనీసం భోజనవసతి కూడా కల్పించలేని విధంగా మాట్లాడడం బాలేదని పలువురు వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తున్నారు. ఆయన వెంట ర్యాలీ ఒకేసారి బయల్దేరుతుంది గనుక.. మార్గమధ్యలో ఒక చోట లంచ్ ఏర్పాటుచేసి ఉంటే చాలా గౌరవంగా ఉండేదని, ఇలా తన వెంట వచ్చేవాళ్లని తమ భోజనాలు తమతోనే కారులో తెచ్చుకోవాలని అనడం బాలేదని వ్యాఖ్యలు వినిపిస్తున్నాయి.

సందేహాస్పదంగా ఉంది. అదే సమయంలో.. కాపులు కాకపోయినప్పటికీ.. ఆయన వైసీపీ నాయకుడిగా ప్రచారంలో తమకు ఉపయోగపడగలరని నమ్ముతున్న ఉభయ గోదావరి జిల్లాల్లోని వైసీపీ నాయకులు మాత్రం.. ఆయన ర్యాలీకి వాహనాలు పంపడానికి తమ వంతు ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు. అయితే.. ఆయనకు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా కాపు వర్గం మద్దతు మాత్రం లభించడం లేదు. వైసీపీ వారు ప్రతి సభకు బీభత్సంగా ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తోంటే.. ముద్రగడను నమ్మినందుకు తాము తమ తిండీతిప్పలు తామే చూసుకోవాలా? అని జనం పెదవి విరుస్తున్నారు.

Box Office: Gaami triumphs over Bhimaa in Shivaratri clash

The Tollywood box office got some respite last weekend after going through a lean phase for several weeks due to lack of big hits since Sankranti season. On the eve of Maha Shivaratri, two Telugu films and one dubbing movie released last Friday. Out of these three, Vishwaksen’s ambitious science fiction drama Gaami emerged as a box office winner with decent revenues in the first weekend. 

Gaami, directed by debutant Vidyadhar Kagita, grossed over 20 Crores in the opening weekend. The film took a solid opening due to the strong pre-release hype after the impressive teasers and trailers. Despite a few shortfalls, Gaami managed to garner promising talk and maintained a good hold on Saturday and Sunday. It already attained the break-even mark in many territories. 

In Overseas, Gaami had a terrific weekend with close to $ 500k gross. It took an impressive start on Thursday premieres with $ 165K and followed it up with $ 125K on Friday. On Saturday, the film notched up $ 110K. By Sunday, it is likely to close in on the half-a-million-dollar mark. 

Another notable film Bhimaa starring Gopichand in the lead role fell short of the trade expectations. After taking a decent start, the film failed to maintain its hold due to weak reports. It grossed around 11 Crores in the first weekend. In overseas, Bhimaa collected a meagre $ 40K in three days. 

Runaway Malayalam blockbuster Premalu was dubbed into Telugu and secured so-so numbers in the first weekend. The Telugu version collected $ 60K in USA.

తన విషయాలను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు అభిమానులతో పంచుకుంటూంటుంది. కొత్త కొత్త ఫొటోలను షేర్‌ చేస్తూ కుర్రాళ్ల మనసులను దోచేస్తుంది. టాలీవుడ్‌ లో అగ్ర హీరోలందరితో ఈ భామ నటించింది. మహేష్‌, చరణ్‌, అల్లు అర్జున్‌, తారక్‌ సరసన నటించి హిట్లు అందుకుంది..  ఆ తరువాత ఆమెకు కాలం కలిసి రాలేదు.

తాజాగా ఈ ముద్దుగుమ్మ బాలీవుడ్ లో ఓ బంపరాఫర్‌ కొట్టేసింది. స్టార్‌ సినిమాలో నటించే ఛాన్స్ కొట్టేసింది. దీనితో పూజా హెగ్డే బాలీవుడ్ లో పాగా వేసుకుందుకు గట్టి ప్రయత్నాలు మొదలుపెట్టింది. ఈ ముద్దుగుమ్మ  పోయిన ఏడాది సల్మాన్‌ ఖాన్ నటించిన కిసీకి భాయ్‌ కిసీకి జాన్‌ అనే చిత్రంలో మెరిసింది. ప్రస్తుతం బాలీవుడ్‌ హీరో షాహిద్‌ కపూర్‌ పక్కన దేవా అనే చిత్రంలో హీరోయిన్‌ గా నటిస్తోంది. ఈ క్రమంలోనే పూజా చేతికి మరో సినిమా కూడా వచ్చిందని సమాచారం.

ప్రముఖ సీనియర్‌ నటుడు సునీల్‌ శెట్టి కుమారుడు  అహన్‌ శెట్టి హీరోగా సంకీ అనే సినిమా ని నిర్మిస్తున్నారు.  ఈ చిత్రంలో నటించేందుకు పూజా ఒప్పుకున్నట్లు తెలిపింది. ఈ సినిమా షూటింగ్‌ ను త్వరలోనే పూర్తి చేసి వచ్చే ఏడాది ప్రేమికుల దినోత్సవానికి అభిమానులకు అందించేందుకు చిత్ర బృందం తెలిపింది.

Jagan’s agents in BJP GVL, Somu fortunes at stake!

The ambitious BJP leaders in Andhra Pradesh, Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao and former State President Somu Veerraju’s political fortunes seems to be at stake with the poll alliance reached between TDP, Jana Sena and BJP in the state.

These two leaders have been making efforts since some time to contest in these polls, so that to felt their political presence in the polls. These two leaders were said to be key players in fueling TDP’s relations with BJP, which ultimately led to TDP’s departure from BJP-led NDA six years ago. 

Their proximity with YSRCP leadership, particularly with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a open secret. These two leaders played key rule in fueling BJP- TDP relationship, which led to TDP’s departure from BJP-led NDA six years ago. 

Already, BJP central leadership confined GVL Narasimha Rao to the state, relieving him from national spokesperson and his Rajya Sabha tennure is also about to expire and the party decided not to renominate him. Sensing this, for the last two years he has been attempting to gain ground in Visakhapatnam so that to contest in the Lok Sabha polls from here. 


Somu Veerraju also revealed his ambition of contesting to the Assembly from Rajahmundry. Sensing BJP’s compulsions to reach poll alliance with TDP, both of these leaders expecting they can easiely win in polls with TDP’s support. However, their candidatures have ben receiving severe opposition from TDP, BJP and Jana Sena caders. 

As BJP is only contesting in six Lok Sabha and six Assembly seats, observers felt it will be difficult for the BJP to accommodate them. Even they contested, BJP cannot expect TDP and Jana Sena cadres to support them, in view of their proximity with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. 

Incidentally, till now GVL Narasimha Rao didn’t contested in any polls. 

Though Somu Veerraju contested he hardly win hearts of the voters with respectable number of votes. 

Since 2014, these two leaders are playing They an active role in thwarting the TDP-BJP alliance in 2019. If tickets are given to them, there is no possibility of transfer of votes and seats will also be lost. It is remarkable that both GVL and Somu did not win direct elections.

In the early days of his career, Somu Veerraju also lost in the gram panchayat elections. In the 2004 elections, he contested the Kadiam Assembly in alliance with the BJP and TDP and lost by a margin of 40 thousand votes.

 In the 2009 elections, Somu contested as a BJP candidate for Rajahmundry Lok Sabha seat. Out of the total 1,017,820 votes cast, he got only 1,643 votes. Let’s see how it will be this time!

2 former MPs, 2 former MLAs joined BJP from BRS

In a big setback to BRS, ahead of Lok Sabha elections two former MPs and two former MLAs joined BJP on Sunday at party’s national headquarter in New Delhi. They joined in the presence of party’s general secretary and Telangana in charge Tarun Chugh and Parliamentary Board Member Dr K Lakshman. 

They are former MPs Godam Nagesh, Sitaram Naik, former MLAs Saidhi Reddy and Jalagam Venkat Rao.  Also, Srinivas Gomase, who resigned as general secretary from Telangana Congress also joined the BJP on Sunday.  

Welcoming these leaders in the party, BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh said that all these “eminent personalities” have played an important role in the society with their contributions.  

“Four former BRS leaders have joined today. All these are experts in their field. Godam Nagesh is a big voice. Saidhi Reddy is popular among people for providing employment opportunities. Sitaram Naik is a big name in himself, all his life he made contributions to the society,” Tarun Chugh said.  

“Jalagam Venkat Rao has also played a crucial role in curbing the naxal movement. Srinivas Gomase who has resigned from Congress had also worked a lot for the Scheduled Castes community,” he added.  

Already BJP announced its candidates for 9 Lok Sabha seats, against a total of 17 seats in Telangana. Two BRS MPs BP Patil and P Ramulu were accommidated soon after their joining BJP. While BP Patil is again contesting from his Zahirabad seat, P Ramulu’s son Bharath is contesting from Nagar Kurnool, his father’s seat. 

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shahwill be visiting Telangana on March 12 and will hold a meeting with the Bharatiya Janata Party booth committee president and party office bearers to provide guidance to the party’s leaders and workers regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.  

The meeting will be chaired by the Union home minister at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad, where he will likely brief leaders about the strategies to be adopted in the parliamentary elections.
