అయితే ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోడీ.. రాష్ట్రంలో ఎన్నికల ప్రచారం నిమిత్తం రెండు రోజుల పర్యటన నిర్వహించిన తర్వాత.. జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి పాపం ఎంతో కష్టపడి చాలా రోజులుగా సాగిస్తూ వచ్చిన ఈ దుష్ప్రచారం యావత్తు దూదిపింజలాగా గాలికి తేలిపోయింది. చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు, పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ లతో కలిసి వేదికను పంచుకోవడం మాత్రమే కాకుండా.. జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి పరిపాలన వైఫల్యాల మీద తీవ్ర స్థాయిలో ధ్వజమెత్తిన మోడీ వైఖరిని ప్రజలందరూ గమనించారు. ఎన్డీఏ కూటమిని అధికారంలోకి తీసుకురావడానికి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలందరూ ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారని మోడీ చెప్పిన మాటలను వారు అర్థం చేసుకున్నారు. ల్యాండ్ మాఫియా, సాండ్ మాఫియా, లిక్కర్ మాఫియాగా జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వం ఎన్ని రకాలుగా ప్రజలను దోచుకుంటున్నదో ఆటలన్నీ కట్టించడానికి ఎన్డీఏ ప్రభుత్వం కృతనిత్యంతో పని చేస్తుందని ఆయన హెచ్చరించారు. చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు రాష్ట్రానికి మళ్లీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి కావాల్సిన ఆవశ్యకతను కూడా ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోడీ స్వయంగా నొక్కి వక్కాణించారు. ఈ ప్రకటనల నేపథ్యంలో.. కూటమి పార్టీల ఐక్యత గురించి జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి సాగించిన అబద్ధపు ప్రచారం ఇప్పుడు ప్రజల ఛీత్కారాలకు గురవుతోంది.
కూటమి ఐక్యతకు ఏ రకంగా గండి కొట్టాలా అని .. గోతి కాడ నక్కలాగా జగన్ ఎదురు చూస్తూనే వచ్చారు. మేనిఫెస్టో విడుదల సందర్భంగా తెలుగుదేశం జనసేన రెండు పార్టీలు మాత్రమే కలిసి.. చంద్రబాబు, పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ ఇద్దరి బొమ్మలతో మాత్రమే విడుదల చేసినప్పుడు.. వైయస్ జగన్ కు లడ్డు లాంటి అవకాశం దొరికింది. చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఇస్తున్న హామీలకు కేంద్రంలోని మోడీ సర్కారు పూచీ ఉండడం లేదని.. అందుకే మ్యానిఫెస్టో మీద తన బొమ్మ ప్రచురించవద్దంటూ మోడీ- చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ను హెచ్చరించారని ఒక తప్పుడు ప్రచారాన్ని జగన్ ఎన్నికల సభలలో చెబుతూ వచ్చారు.
ఒకవైపు భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ తమ పార్టీ మేనిఫెస్టో విడిగా జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ఉంటుందని.. ఏ రాష్ట్రంలో కూడా అక్కడి ప్రాంతీయ పార్టీల మిత్రపక్షాలు విడుదల చేసిన మేనిఫెస్టోలలో మోడీ బొమ్మ లేకుండానే వచ్చాయని ఎంతగా వివరించే ప్రయత్నం చేసినప్పటికీ.. జగన్ సాగించిన దుష్ప్రచారం మాత్రం యధేచ్ఛగా సాగిపోయింది. గోబెల్స్ లాగా ఒకే అబద్ధాన్ని పదేపదే చెబుతూనే ఉండడం ద్వారా జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి కొంతమంది అమాయక ప్రజలను ఆ మేరకు నమ్మించగలిగారు కూడా.
కానీ నరేంద్ర మోడీ రాష్ట్రంలో రెండు రోజులపాటు సుడిగాలిలా పర్యటించి ప్రచార సభలు నిర్వహించిన తర్వాత ప్రజల అభిప్రాయం పూర్తిగా మారిపోయింది. జగన్ ఇన్నాళ్లుగా ఎంత దారుణమైన అబద్ధాలు చెప్పారో వారికి అర్థమయింది. ప్రతిపక్ష కూటమిని ఎదుర్కొనే దమ్ము లేక వారి ఐక్యత గురించి ప్రచారం చేసిన అబద్ధాలను ప్రజలు ఈసడించుకుంటున్నారు. ఇలాంటి కుట్రలకు పోలింగ్ రోజున వారు ఎలా బుద్ధి చెబుతారో చూడాలి.

జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి సర్కారు చాలా పెద్ద ఎత్తుగడే వేసింది. సహజంగానే వారికి రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి జవహర్ రెడ్డి నుంచి చెప్పుకోలేనంత మద్దతు ఉంది. వైయస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి అనుచిత లబ్ధి చేకూర్చేలా వీరు ఎలాంటి ఆట ఆడదలుచుకున్నప్పటికీ ఆయన వైపు నుంచి సహకారం లభిస్తుంది. ఈ నమ్మకంతోనే వారు పెద్ద కుట్ర రచన ప్లాన్ చేశారు. ఎన్నికల కోడ్ రావడానికి రెండు వారాలకు ముందే రకరకాల సంక్షేమ పథకాలకు జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి బటన్ లు నొక్కేసి.. ఇదిగో మీ ఖాతాల్లో డబ్బులు వేసేస్తున్నానంటూ ఆర్భాటంగా ప్రకటించారు. తీరా నెలలు గడిచినా లబ్ధిదారుల ఖాతాల్లో సొమ్ములు మాత్రం పడలేదు. పోలింగ్ తేదీ ముంచుకు వచ్చిన తర్వాత ఇప్పుడు ఎంతో కాలం కిందట బటన్లు నొక్కిన పథకాల తాలూకు డబ్బులు ఆయా లబ్ధిదారుల ఖాతాల్లో వేయడానికి అనుమతి కావాలంటూ ప్రభుత్వం ఎన్నికల సంఘాన్ని కోరడం.. ఈ అర్తరహితమైన కోరికను ఎన్నికల సంఘం తిరస్కరించడం ఆటోమేటిగ్గా జరిగాయి.
అయితే జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి అక్కడితో ఊరుకుంటే విశేషమేముంది. ప్రజల ఖాతాల్లో డబ్బులు పడకుండా పోయిన వైనాన్ని కూడా ఆయన తన ఎన్నికల ప్రచారానికి వాడుకోవాలని చూస్తూ వచ్చారు. ప్రభుత్వం ఐదేళ్లుగా అమలు చేస్తున్న సంక్షేమ పథకాలను ప్రజలకు అందనివ్వకుండా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు అడ్డం పడ్డారంటూ తలా తోకాలేని అడ్డగోలు వాదనలు ప్రజల ఎదుట వినిపించారు. నిజానికి జగన్ తిట్టింది చంద్రబాబునే గాని, ఆ తిట్లు అన్నీ కూడా ఎన్నికల సంఘానికే తగులుతాయి అన్నది అందరికీ తెలిసిన సంగతి.
ఎన్నికల సంఘం కూడా కాస్త గట్టిగానే స్పందించింది. మార్చి మొదటి వారంలో బటన్లు నొక్కేస్తే.. ఇప్పటిదాకా అసలు లబ్ధిదారుల ఖాతాలకు డబ్బులు చేరకుండా ఎందుకు ఆలస్యమైంది.. ప్రభుత్వం సమాధానం చెప్పాలని ఆదేశించింది. సరిగ్గా ఎన్నికలకు ముందుగా 14,165 కోట్ల రూపాయలు ప్రజల ఖాతాలలో పడేలాగా జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ఒక కుట్రకు వ్యూహరచన చేశారు. ఆ వ్యూహాన్ని వీగిపోయేలా చేసిన ఎన్నికల సంఘం.. ఎప్పుడో నొక్కిన బటన్లో ఇప్పటిదాకా డబ్బులు ఎందుకు వెళ్లలేదో చెప్పాలంటూ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని నిలదీయడం ద్వారా వారి కుట్రను ప్రజలు ముందు నగ్నంగా ఆవిష్కరించింది. పోలింగుకు రెండు రోజుల ముందు ప్రజల ఖాతాల్లో డబ్బులు వేయాలనుకోవడం కోడ్ ఉల్లంఘన అవుతుందని కూడా హెచ్చరించింది.
ఎన్నికల పోలింగ్ పూర్తయిన తర్వాత మాత్రమే ఆ డబ్బులను విడుదల చేయాలని దీనికి పోలింగ్ ముగిసిన తర్వాత అవసరమైన మార్గదర్శకాలు జారీ చేస్తామని ఈసీ పేర్కొనడం విశేషం. ఏదో ఒక మాయ చేసి ప్రజలను మభ్యపెట్టి వక్రమార్గాల్లో లబ్ధి పొందాలనుకున్న వైఎస్ఆర్సిపి కుట్రలు చివరికి వారి పరువు తీసేలా తయారయ్యాయి.

Revanth Reddy Asks ECI To Arrest BJP MP Navneet Rana
Taking serious objection to fire- brand BJPMP Navneet Rana’s comments, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy wanted the Election Commission of India (ECI) to book criminal cases and arrest her for making such remarks.
Participating in a party campaign programme in Hyderabad constituency on Wednesday, she had threatened AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother Akbaruddin Owaisi, saying that “if the police were removed from duty for 15 seconds, the brothers would not know from where they came and where they went”.
Strongly objecting to her remarks, the Chief Minister wanted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah to spell out their stand on the BJP leader’s comments.“Do you support her comments, if not suspend her from the party,” he said while addressing a public meeting at Saroornagar.
Appealing to the people not to fall prey to the BJP’s communal politics, he said the BJP was triggering communal differences and instigating people to derive political mileage.
Meanwhile, hitting back at BJP MP Navneet Ravi Rana’s provocative comments on him and his MLA brother Akbaruddin Owaisi, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi appealed people to defeat ‘RSS ideology’ and also urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give the Amravati MP ‘an hour’ to counter them.
Owaisi said, “I tell Modi ji – give her 15 seconds. What will you do? Give her 15 seconds, give her 1 hour. We, too, want to see if you have any humanity left in you. Who is scared? We are ready…If someone is making an open call for it, then so be it, PM is yours; RSS is yours; everything is yours. Do it. Who is stopping you? Tell us where we have to come, we will be there. Do it…”.
“In 2014, Narendra Modi alighted at the home of Nawaz Sharif all of a sudden. What was that? They feel all Muslims in India are Pakistanis. We have to defeat this RSS ideology. They hate India’s pluralism and diversity,” he added.
Sharmila Says It Is A Battle For Justice Between Jagan’s Sisters And Bharati’s Relatives
TPCC President YS Sharmila, who is contesting in the Lok Sabha polls from Kadapa described her fight is a battle for justice, in which Jagan’s sisters are on one side and Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s wife YS Bharati’s relatives on the other side.
She participated in a mammoth road show in her native place Pulivendula along with her uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy’s wife Soubhagyamma and sister Dr Sunitha. She deplored that her brother CM Jagan is giving more weight to relatives of his wife, than his own sisters.
She wondered if CM Jagan was protecting Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, describing him as a child and asked what is the reason for protecting Avinash so much? Is Avinash Reddy more for Jagan than Vivekananda Reddy?, she asked.
She strongly refuted CM Jagan stating this election as a fight between one cousin and another cousin. But, Sharmila asserted that her fight is for justice. She deplored that CM Jagan is not bothered about the brutal murder of uncle Vivekananda Reddy, who is like a father after father YSR, but protecting the accused.
She questioned whether CM Jagan could not find any other candidate to contest from Kadapa other than Avinash Reddy. Stating that there are many questions that Jagan needs to be answered. Referring to Jagan’s conviction that Avinash Reddy is `innocent’, Sharmila said that it is not Jagan, but people should be convinced of his innocence.
Sharmila expressed confidence that she believes the people of Pulivendula will shower their love along with the vote towards her. She asserted that Kadapa Lok Sabha elections are between justice and crime.
She said that the relationship between her father YS Rajasekhar Reddy and uncle Vivekananda Reddy was like `Ram- Lakshman’ bondage and Viveka used to travel 27 days in a month only for people. As even five years after killing of such a people’s leader no trace of justice, she said that now his daughter Dr Sunitha was forced to approach `People’s Court’.
Even CBI has shown evidence stating that Avinash Reddy is guilty. Sharmila deplored that CM Jagan prevented them from arresting him and a curfew-like situation was created in Kurnool for three days.
Haryana Crisis Takes New Turn As BJP Reaches JJP MLAs
Days after the BJP government in Haryana pushed into minority with the support withdrawn by three independent MLAs, it seems resorting to bring a division among Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) MLAs, so as to save its government.
While both JJP and Congress MLAs are demanding an immediate floor test or promulgation of President’s rule in the state, former Chief Minister Mohanlal Khattar meeting four JJP MLAs at the residence of a minister on Thursday led to speculation BJP attempt to attract opposition MLAs.
Earlier, JPP chief Dushyant Singh Chautala had written to Governor Bandaru Dattatreya seeking directions to conduct a floor test in the assembly for the present government to prove majority.
While seeking directions to the competent authority, Chautala has said that if the government fails to call the session on the directions of the Governor, he may recommend President’s rule in the state.
Meanwhile, the Congress today demanded President’s rule in the state and sought time to meet Governor Dattatreya. Former CM and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda said the Haryana Government should resign on moral grounds as it’s in minority and demanded President’s rule in the state.
In the letter to the Haryana governor, Chautala whose party the JJP pulled out of the coalition with the ruling BJP in March, urged the governor to conduct a floor test immediately to “reinstate stability and uphold democratic norms in Haryana”. He said his party doesn’t support the present government and is “open to backing any other political party for government formation”.
All eyes are now on the two other two independents other than the rebels withdrawing support to the BJP government. In the 88-member current strength Haryana assembly, the BJP has 40 MLAs while the Congress and the JJP has 30 and 10 MLAs respectively. The BJP is three short of the majority mark.
Hooda said 45 of the 88 sitting MLAs in the Haryana Assembly, including 30 MLAs of the Congress, 10 of the JJP, 3 Independent MLAs who have recently switched over to the Congress, Independent MLA from Meham Balraj Kundu and INLD MLA Abhey Chautala, were against the Saini-led government.
Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini has targeted the opposition over the present political crisis in the state. Taking a dig at Bhupendra Hooda and Dushyant Chautala, he said, “These people (Bhupendra Hooda, Dushyant Chautala) are daydreaming. The public has rejected them. Such people are not going to come to power”.
Vyjayanthimala, Chiranjeevi Conferred With Padma Vibhushan
President of India, Droupadi Murmu presented South India’s megastar Chiranjeevi with the Padma Vibhushan, the country’s second-highest civilian honour, on Thursday. The Throne Room, also known as Darbar Hall, is where the event was held in Delhi.
The theater erupted in cheers as the actor accepted the honour. There to support Chiranjeevi were his wife Surekha, son and actor Ram Charan, and his wife Upasana Konidela.
In addition to Chiranjeevi, veteran actor Vyjayanthimala received a Padma Vibhushan while in attendance of her family. The veteran actor opted for a yellow coloured saree for this occasion and accepted the second-highest civilian honour with utmost grace.
For the unversed, on the eve of Republic Day 2024, the government had announced the winners of Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri awardees. According to the list, 17 people were honoured with Padma Bhushan, five have been honoured with Padma Vibhusan and 110 have been awarded Padma Shri.
Legendary actress Vyjanthimala, Former Vice President M Venkiah Naidu, and Telugu superstar K Chiranjeevi were among the recipients of the Padma Vibhushan award for 2024. Sulabh Foundation founder and Chairman Bindeshwar Pathak (posthumous) and artist Padma Subrahmanyam were the other two recipients.
Supreme Court’s first woman judge M Fathima Beevi (posthumous), actor Mithun Chakraborty, Foxconn Chairman Young Liu, former Union Minister and BJP leader Ram Naik, singer Usha Uthup, and Tamil actor and DMDK founder Vijaykanth (posthumous) were among the 17 recipients of the Padma Bhushan.

On the special occasion of Vijay’s birthday, showering him with love, Anand shared some childhood pictures of them. Sharing it on Instagram, Anand also wrote a heartfelt message to his beloved brother: “Happy Birthday, my big man! Fortunate to have the best living example to learn from!! Can learn resilience from him. Can learn discipline and confidence from him. Can learn to be real and honest from him. And much much more.” Anand also added, “Comebacks are always stronger & better than the setbacks.”
The Deverakonda brothers are well known for the unwavering love and support that they both share for one another. The siblings are renowned for their beautiful bond and always have their backs on each other.
Marking Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday today, the makers of his upcoming films unveiled the concept posters. Speaking of his professional endeavors, Vijay is currently gearing up for his next projects, including ‘VD 12’, ‘VD 14’, and ‘SVC 59’, helmed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, Rahul Sankrityan, and Ravi Kiran Kola, respectively.
On Anand Deverakonda’s work front, the actor was gearing up for the theatrical release of his upcoming action comedy ‘Gam Gam Ganesha’, helmed by Uday Bommisetty. The film is scheduled to release on May 31. He will also appear in his next ‘Duet’, helmed by Mithun Varadharaja Krishnan.

వైయస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అభ్యర్థులు ఇప్పుడు కొత్త వ్యాపార సూత్రం కనుగొన్నారు. ఎన్నికలలో పోటీ చేస్తున్న అవకాశాన్ని వ్యాపారంగా మార్చుకొని కోట్లు దండుకోవడానికి వారు ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు. ఎన్నికల సమరంలో పార్టీకి విజయావకాశాలు క్లిష్టంగా ఉన్న తరుణంలో తాము ఎంత కష్టపడి ప్రచారం నిర్వహించినా ఖర్చు చేసినా ఫలితం ఎలా ఉంటుందో వారికి బోధపడటం లేదు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో గెలుపు మీద అతి నమ్మకంతో విచ్చలవిడిగా డబ్బు ఖర్చు చేయడం అనవసరం అనే భావనతో వారు ఉన్నట్లుగా తెలుస్తోంది. అందుకే ముందు జాగ్రత్తగా తమ సొంత ఖజానా నుంచి పరిమితంగా డబ్బులు బయటకు తీస్తూ, నియోజకవర్గాలలోని తమ పార్టీ ద్వితీయ శ్రేణి నాయకులను కూడా విరాళంగా పెద్ద మొత్తాలు సమకూర్చాలని అడుగుతున్నట్లుగా గుసగుసలు వినిపిస్తున్నాయి.
ద్వితీయ శ్రేణి నాయకులను డబ్బు అడుగుతున్న అధికార పార్టీ అభ్యర్థులు ఈసారి గెలిచిన తర్వాత మీకు ఫలానా నామినేటెడ్ పోస్ట్ వేయిస్తాం, కార్పొరేషన్ పదవులు ఇప్పిస్తాం.. అని కల్లబొల్లి హామీలు గుప్పిస్తున్నారు. ఉదాహరణకు ఒక చిన్న స్థాయి ఆలయ ట్రస్ట్ బోర్డు సభ్యత్వ పదవికి 30 నుంచి 40 లక్షల రూపాయల ధర నిర్ణయించి ఆ మేరకు సొమ్ములు ఇప్పుడే ఏర్పాటు చేయమని, గెలిచి తమ పార్టీ అధికారంలోకి రాగానే ఆ పదవి ఇస్తామని అంటున్నట్లుగా సమాచారం. ఎందుకూ పనికిరాని చిన్న స్థాయి ఆలయ ట్రస్ట్ పదవికే ఈ స్థాయి రేట్లు నిర్ణయించిన వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్ అభ్యర్థులు ఇంకా ఎలాంటి కార్పోరేషన్ పదవులకు ఎలాంటి భారీ ధరలు పెట్టి ఉంటారో అనే చర్చ ప్రజలలో నడుస్తోంది.
సాధారణంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే అభ్యర్థిత్వాలు దక్కిన నాయకులు తమ మిత్రులు, సన్నిహితులు, తమ ద్వారా రకరకాల ప్రయోజనాలు ఆశించే ఇతర వ్యక్తుల నుంచి భారీగా విరాళాలు రాబట్టడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తూ ఉంటారు. తాము గెలిచిన తర్వాత కాంట్రాక్ట్ ఇప్పిస్తాం, పదవులు ఇప్పిస్తాం అనే వాగ్దానాలతో వారి నుంచి పెద్ద మొత్తాలు కోట్ల వరకు కూడా సొమ్ములు రాబడుతూ ఉంటారు. ఎమ్మెల్యే గెలవడం మాత్రమే కాదు, పార్టీ కూడా గెలిచి అధికారంలోకి వచ్చినా సరే తాము పెట్టిన పెట్టుబడులకు వడ్డీ గిట్టుబాటు అయ్యేలా కాంట్రాక్టులు పనులు దక్కుతాయనే నమ్మకం ద్వితీయ శ్రేణి నాయకుల్లో ఉండడం లేదు. ఎందుకంటే కాంట్రాక్టులు పొందే సమయంలో మళ్లీ అప్పటికి తగిన విధంగా ప్రభుత్వంలోని పెద్దలకు ముడుపులు సమర్పించుకుంటే తప్ప పనులు దక్కడం లేదు. బిల్లులు రావడం లేదు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో అభ్యర్థులను నమ్ముకొని పెట్టేవారు తగ్గిపోతున్నారు. ప్రత్యేకించి వైయస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ విషయానికి వస్తే ఎమ్మెల్యేలు ఈ ఐదేళ్లలో దోచుకున్న మొత్తాలు ఖర్చు పెడితే చాలునని ద్వితీయ శ్రేణి నాయకులు తమ డబ్బు బయటకు తీయడానికి సుముఖంగా లేరు. పైగా పార్టీ అధికారంలోకి వస్తుందని గ్యారెంటీ లేకపోవడంతో ఎమ్మెల్యే అభ్యర్తులను నమ్మి ఒక్క రూపాయి పెట్టుబడి పెట్టినా వృధా అవుతుందనే భయం చాలామందిలో ఉంది. అలాగని బయటపడకుండా బింకంగా ప్రచారపర్వంలో మాత్రం చురుగ్గా పాల్గొంటూ అటు ఎమ్మెల్యే ఇటు పార్టీ కూడా గెలిచి అధికారంలోకి వస్తే తాము దండుకోవడానికి మార్గాలు మూసుకుపోకుండా జాగ్రత్త పడుతున్నారు. ఈ ఐదేళ్లలో ఇబ్బడి ముబ్బడిగా సంపాదించి ప్రస్తుత ఎన్నికల కోసం విధులు వెనకేసిన అధికార పార్టీ ఎమ్మెల్యే అభ్యర్థులకు దిగులు లేదుగానీ.. అంతంత మాత్రం అవినీతితో దండుకునే అవకాశాలు తగినన్ని పొందలేకపోయిన అభ్యర్థులు నిధులు కోసం బాగా ఇబ్బంది పడుతున్నారు.
