Delhi Minister Atishi Slams EC A ‘Subsidiary Organisation’ Of BJP

Atishi, a senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and a minister in the Delhi government hit out at the Election Commission’s impartiality after receiving a show-cause notice at a press briefing on Friday.

She accused the poll body of being a “subsidiary organisation” of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She also alleged that the BJP strategically leaked the notice to the media even before she received it via mail. According to Atishi, the BJP filed a complaint against one of her press conferences on April 4. 

“On 5 April at 11:15 am, news channels reported that a notice had been sent to Atishi, but half an hour after the news, I got the notice in the mail. This means that the BJP first plants the Election Commission notice in the media and after that, I get the notice”, she said. 

She further criticised the Election Commission’s failure to take action against central agencies following the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the freezing of Congress’s bank accounts before the Lok Sabha elections.  Atishi urged the poll body to maintain neutrality and resist pressure from the BJP-led central government.

Earlier during the day, the Election Commission issued a show-cause notice to Atishi over her claims that the BJP had approached her to join their ranks through a close associate. 

The development follows a remark made by Atishi at a press conference earlier this week that three other AAP leaders along with her, would face arrest by the Enforcement Directorate if they refused to join the BJP.

Responding to Atishi’s allegations, the Election Commission emphasised her influential role as a minister and leader of a national party, stressing that statements made by public figures significantly impact campaign discourse. The commission urged Atishi to substantiate her claims with factual evidence, highlighting the importance of statements being grounded in reality.

Asking Atishi to back her statement with facts, the poll body said, “When the veracity of the statements made by you is contested then you must be able to back your statements on a factual basis.” The poll panel said it expects that there must be a “factual foundation” to the statements made by the AAP leader.

Pawan Kalyan Recovered From Fever, To Resume Campaign From 7th

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, who suspended his poll campaign three days ago due to severe fever, is said to have recovered and returned to normalcy. Jana Sena announced that he will resume his poll campaign from April 7th, from Anakapalli.

In a tweet in X, the Janasena said that Pawan Kalyan’s health condition has improved now and he will participate in the meeting to be held in Anakapalli on the 7th of this month. Pawan Varahi’s Vijayabheri Yatra will continue on April 8 in Yalamanchili.

Pawan Kalyan will participate in the Ugadi celebrations in Pithapuram, the constituency from where he is contesting, on this 9th. Later, Janasena said that Pawan will visit Nellimarla, Visakhapatnam and Pendurthi constituencies. The party said that the schedule for this will be announced soon.

Pawan Kalyan started election campaign from Pithapuram of Kakinada district on 30th March. He has extensively toured in his constituency for four days. However, on 2nd after campaigning in neary 10 villages walking about 20 kms of distance, he became sick.

Due to high fever, he cancelled his proposed campaign in Tenali and subsequent tour schedule in the North Andhra constituencies. Meanwhile, Jana Sena is the only party in Andhra Pradesh that did not announce all the candidates contesting from the party.

Already, YCP, TDP and BJP announced their candidates. However, Pawan Kalyan too announced candidates for 20 assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats. The only candidate to be announced is Palakonda Assembly segment. Here, TDP leader Nimmaka Jayakrishna, who has already joined the Jana Sena is expected to be Jana Sena candidate.

Bala Krishna Opponent At Hindupur, MLC Resigns From YCP

Ahead of the elections in AP, the ruling YSRCP suffers heavy blows every day. Another MLC left the party. A prominent party leader from Hindupur and MLC Mohammad Iqbal has resigned from the party. He announced his resignation from the primary membership of YCP and the post of MLC.

To this extent, the resignation letter was sent to the chairman of the Legislative Council. In the letter, the chairman of the council was asked to accept the resignation letter immediately.

He has reportedly left the ruling party due to discrimination and marginalizing him, besides serving the party for years with all commitment.

In Hindupur assembly constituency, represented by two-time MLA Nandamuri Bala Krishna, he is the prominent YCP face. In 2019 assembly elections, he contested against Bala Krishna as YCP candidate and gave a tough fight to the TDP. Though the constituency is known as a stronghold for TDP, he had obtained about 75,000 votes.

Impressed by his fight against TDP in the elections, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy rewarded him by making him MLC. But, of late, it seemsYCP leadership started ignoring him.

He was replaced as constituency incharge with a BC leader, Deepika. In the present elections she was given the assembly seat, ignoring the claims of Iqbal, said to be due to internal factional strife in YCP.

Since then it is known that Mohammad Iqbal is unhappy with not being given a ticket and not getting priority in the party. Mohammad Iqbal, who has been silent for the past few days, announced his resignation from the party and the post of MLC on Friday.

Already two YCP MLCs like Janga Krishnamurthy and Vamsi Krishna have resigned from the party. While, Vamsikrishna is joining Jana Sena, Janga Krishnamurthy announced to join TDP.

Finally Raghuramakrishnam Raju Joins TDP

Narasapuram MP Raghuramakrishnam Raju has finally joined TDP in the presence of TDP chief and former Chief Minister N Chadnrababu Naidu at Palakollu `Prajagalam’ public meeting, on Friday evening.

Raghurama Krishnam Raju, who contested the last election for YCP in AP and won as MP, fell out with CM Jaganmohan Reddy within six months and distanced himself from the party. Without stopping there, he directly targeted Jagan and stayed away from AP along with Narsapur constituency for four years.

Now at the time of the election, Raghurama, who at one stage thought to say goodbye to politics after his futile efforts to get a BJP seat from his sitting Narsapur constituency, finally joined TDP at the initiative of its chief Chandrababu Naidu.

Chandrababu directly inviting him into the party mentioned his tireless struggle against the repressive regime of YS Jagan for four years and explained how Jagan targeted to `hind him physically’. Raghurama said that he was happy to join TDP.

Raghurama predicted that NDA will sweep the polls on June 4 in the state. It seems Chandrababu Naidu is making his last minute efforts to get Narsapur Lok Sabha seat by convincing BJP to take Eluru Lok Sabha seat in the district. However, if BJP is still adamant to accommodate Raju, it is learnt Naidu has decided to offer him Undi assembly seat, though already he announced TDP’s candidate there.

In this context, Raghurama Krishna Raju recently said that he wants to go to the Center, but people want to see him stay in the state and take the post of Assembly Speaker. On this occasion, Raghurama said that he has again come before the people on the initiative of Chandrababu.

Raju declared that Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan combination set to create a new history on June 4, at the time of announcing election results.

Seeking public approval to induct Raju into TDP, Chandrababu said “Raghurama is a person who fought for the preservation of democracy under a psycho regime. With the approval of all of you, we cordially invite him to TDP in Palakollu. We are admitting him into the party”.

He lamented that the psycho regime prevented an MP from coming to his constituency? Is it fair? Is that acceptable to you. What is anarchy?, he asked.

 “In the past, he was taken into police custody and subjected to torture at will. After bringing it to the notice of the President and the Governor and trying everything, he finally got out with the intervention of the court. Otherwise you would not see him today”, Naidu said.

That’s why, he asserted that there is a need to protect democracy and the future of children from the rule of the wicked. For that, he said that such people also need to work together.

Giving clear indications to the Congress government in the state that he will not remain quit at home, if the ruling party attempted `politics of victimisation’ against his party and his family, former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao cautioned that he will be forced to come to streets against the failures of government.

Immediately after the Lok Sabha polls, he announced that he would stage a dharna at the Medigadda Barrage along with 10,000 people, including farmers. Alleging that it was not possible for the Congress government to protect the interests of farmers by supplying water to standing crops, he said the BRS would fight on behalf of the farming community.

Further, KCR has warned that if water is not lifted through Kannepally pump house before the flood of 20 thousand cusecs in Godavari, he will go with 50 thousand farmers and drive motorcycles. It has been clarified that once the flow of water in Godavari starts, the water can be lifted independently of Medigadda Barrage.

Interacting with farmers after inspecting damaged paddy crops in Mugdumpur of Karimnagar rural mandal on Friday, he advised the ryots not to be worried and to be courageous since the BRS would always be with them.

Demanding the State government to provide a compensation of Rs.25,000 per acre for the damaged crops, Chandrashekhar Rao went around the withered paddy fields owned by farmers Bandi Sampath, Velpula Narsaiah and Kolagoni Sampath, he also checked with them on the extent of land owned by them, crop sowed in the area, water sources and reasons for withering of the crop.

The farmers said that earlier, they used to sow crops by depending on the village tank, which would be filled with SRSP water. However, the tank had dried now as canal water was not released into it this time. Though they tried to supply water from agricultural wells, the wells too had dried out due to the drought.

Earlier, the BRS chief interacted with a farmer Egurla Shankar from Erukulla village, who told Rao that ryots from Erukulla and Mugdumpur villages used to cultivate crops by depending on SRSP canal water. However, the situation changed this time. The groundwater table had also depleted drastically, pushing the farmers into a deep crisis, he said.

CBI To Interrogate BRS Leader K Kavitha In Tihar Jail

A Delhi Court granted permission to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to question BRS leader K Kavitha, who was arrested in connection with the excise policy case, in Tihar jail.

Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter Kavitha was apprehended by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 15 concerning a money laundering investigation associated with an alleged excise policy scam.

Special Judge for ED and CBI cases Kaveri Baweja permitted the agency to interrogate the BRS leader. The court’s decision came in response to a plea submitted by the CBI, seeking authorization to interrogate Kavitha while she is in judicial custody.

Earlier on Thursday, Kavitha had urged the court to free her on interim bail on account of her 16-year-old son’s exams for which he needed his mother’s “moral and emotional support”.

Kavitha has been accused of being a key member of the “South Group”, which allegedly paid the ruling AAP in Delhi kickbacks of Rs 100 crore in return for a big share of liquor licences in the national capital. She was sent to 14-day judicial custody last Tuesday, March 28. 

The case pertains to the alleged corruption and money laundering in formulating and executing the Delhi government’s excise policy for 2021-22 which was later scrapped.

The case originated from a report presented by Delhi Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar to Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena in July 2022, highlighting purported procedural deficiencies in the development of the policy. The report said “arbitrary and unilateral decisions” taken by AAP leader Manish Sisodia in his capacity as Excise Minister had resulted in “financial losses to the exchequer” estimated at more than Rs 580 crore.

ప్రయాణంలో ఉన్న ఒక నావ నుంచి ముఖ్యమైన వ్యక్తులు నదిలోకి దూకేస్తున్నారు అంటే దాని అర్థం, ఆ నావ త్వరలో మునిగిపోబోతున్నదని! చిన్న సన్న వ్యక్తులు పార్టీని వీడిపోతే పెద్దగా పట్టించుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. కానీ, చట్టసభలలో సభ్యులుగా కీలక పదవులు అనుభవిస్తున్న వారు కూడా పార్టీని వదిలి వెళ్ళిపోతున్నారంటే ప్రమాదకరమైన సంకేతాలు వస్తున్నట్టే లెక్క. ఆ పార్టీ యొక్క భవిష్యత్తు అగమ్య గోచరంగా ఉండబోతున్నదని వారందరూ నమ్ముతున్నట్లే లెక్క. ఇప్పుడు వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ పరిస్థితి అదే విధంగా కనిపిస్తోంది.

ఆ పార్టీలో ఎమ్మెల్సీలుగా అధికార హోదాలను కలిగి ఉంటూ.. ఇంకా సుదీర్ఘకాలం తమకు పదవీయోగం ఉన్నప్పటికీ కూడా కొందరు పార్టీని వీడిపోతున్నారంటే ఆ పార్టీ మళ్లీ గెలిచి అధికారంలోకి రావడం కల్ల అని వారు నమ్ముతున్నట్లే భావించాలి. తాజాగా కర్నూలు జిల్లాకు చెందిన వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ఎమ్మెల్సీ షేక్ మహ్మద్ ఇక్బాల్ ఆ పార్టీకి, తన పదవికి కూడా రాజీనామా చేశారు. పార్టీ సభ్యత్వానికి చేసిన రాజీనామాను జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డికి, ఎమ్మెల్సీ పదవికి చేసిన రాజీనామాను శాసనమండలి చైర్మన్ మోషేను రాజుకు పంపారు.

ఇంకా తమ పదవీ కాలం కొన్ని సంవత్సరాలు ఉన్నప్పటికీ కూడా వైయస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీలు రాజీనామా చేయడం అనేది ఇది మొదటిసారి కాదు. ఇటీవలే కడప జిల్లాకు చెందిన సి.రామచంద్రయ్య తన పదవికి రాజీనామా చేసి తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీలో చేరారు. అలాగే విశాఖపట్నానికి చెందిన వంశీకృష్ణ యాదవ్.. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ కట్టబెట్టిన ఎమ్మెల్సీ పదవిని కూడా వద్దనుకుని జనసేనలో చేరారు. వంశీకృష్ణ జనసేన తరఫున ఎమ్మెల్యే ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీచేస్తున్నారు.

అయితే మహ్మద్ ఇక్బాల్ విషయంలో అలాంటి ఆశ కూడా లేదు. ఎందుకంటే.. అన్ని పార్టీలు ఇప్పటికే తమ తమ అభ్యర్థులను ప్రకటించడం పూర్తిచేశాయి. ఇక్బాల్ వేరే పార్టీలో చేరితే చేరవచ్చుగానీ.. ఆయనకు టికెట్ దక్కదు. కానీ, ఆయన వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ తనను కరివేపాకులా వాడుకుని పక్కన పెట్టిన తీరుతో ఆయన విసిగిపోయి పార్టీకి రాజీనామా చేయడం విశేషం.

ఐపీఎస్ ఆఫీసర్ అయిన ఇక్బాల్ గతంలో అనంతపురం రేంజి ఐజీగా పనిచేశారు. రిటైర్మెంటు తర్వాత కర్నూలు జిల్లా నుంచి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా పోటీచేసే ఉద్దేశంతో వైసీపీలో చేరారు. ఆ సందర్భంలో ఆయనకు ఏం హామీ ఇచ్చారో తెలియదు గానీ.. తీరా 2019 ఎన్నికలు వచ్చినప్పుడు.. హిందూపురంలో బాలక్రిష్ణపై పోటీచేయాల్సిందిగా ఆయనను పురమాయించారు. అయిష్టంగానే కొత్త ప్రాంతానికి వెళ్లిపోటీచేసిన ఇక్బాల్ ఓడిపోయారు. తరవాత ఆయనకు పార్టీ ఎమ్మెల్సీ పదవిని కట్టబెట్టింది. ఎమ్మెల్యే టికెట్ ఇస్తాం.. అక్కడ పార్టీ కోసం పనిచేయమని చెప్పింది. ఆయన హిందూపురంలో పార్టీని బలోపేతం చేయడానికి చాలా కష్టపడ్డారు. కానీ.. చివరికి పెద్దిరెడ్డి జోక్యంతో అక్కడ దీపికను అభ్యర్థిగా ప్రకటించి.. ఇక్బాల్ కు మొండిచెయ్యి చూపించారు. ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా కదిరి లో ఎమ్మెల్యేటికెట్ ఇస్తామన్నారు గానీ.. ఆ మాట కూడా నిలబెట్టుకోలేదు. పార్టీ తనను చిన్నచూపు చూస్తున్నదంటూ కొన్ని రోజులుగా మధనపడుతున్న ఇక్బాల్.. చివరికి పార్టీకి ఎమ్మెల్సీ పదవికి కూడా రాజీనామా చేశారు. కాకపోతే.. ఆయన ఇప్పుడు ఏ పార్టీ వైపు అడుగులు వేస్తారనేది కీలకంగా ఉంది. తెదేపా, జనసేనలలో ఒక పార్టీని ఎంచుకుంటారా? లేదా, కాంగ్రెసులో చేరి ఎమ్మెల్యే టికెట్ తెచ్చుకుంటారా? అనే చర్చ నడుస్తోంది.

ఆంద్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలను ఊరించే ఒక హామీని కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ తమ మేనిఫెస్టోలో ప్రకటించింది. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా అనేక వర్గాలను ఆకర్షించేలా సమ్మోహక అస్త్రాలను గుదిగుచ్చి తమ మేనిఫెస్టోను కాంగ్రెస్ తయారుచేసింది. దేశంలోని ప్రతి పేద మహిళకు ఏడాది లక్షరూపాయలు ఉచితంగా ఇవ్వడం, స్టడీలోన్ లను పూర్తిగా రద్దుచేసి ప్రభుత్వమే బ్యాంకులకు చెల్లించేయడం, యువతకు ఏడాది పాటు అప్రెంటిస్ షిప్ విధిగా కల్పించడం- అందుకు రూ.లక్ష వరకు ఖర్చు పెట్టడం వంటి అనేక హామీలు ఇందులో ఉన్నాయి. అదే సమయంలో.. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రజల మీద తిరుగులేని అస్త్రంలాగా.. ప్రత్యేకహోదా ఇస్తాం అనే మాటను కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ప్రకటించింది.

ఈ పదేళ్లలో కూడా ప్రత్యేకహోదా గురించి రకరకాలుగా కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ఏపీ ప్రజలను నమ్మించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తూనే వచ్చింది. ఏపీకి ప్రత్యేకహోదా అనేది కాంగ్రెసు ద్వారా మాత్రమే సాధ్యం అని, మేం పదేళ్లు హోదా ఇవ్వడానికి కట్టుబడి ఉన్నాం అని.. రకరకాలుగా చెప్పుకుంటూ వచ్చారు. అయినా కాంగ్రెస్ మాటలను ఏపీ ప్రజలు పెద్దగా పట్టించుకోలేదు. తీరా ఇప్పుడు ఎన్నికలు ముంచుకువచ్చిన తరువాత.. వైఎస్ షర్మిల కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ రాష్ట్ర సారథిగా ఉండడం మాత్రమే కాకుండా, కడపలో అవినాష్ రెడ్డిని ఓడించే  కృతనిశ్చయంతో ఎన్నికలబరిలో తలపడుతున్నారు. ఈ సమయంలో కాంగ్రెస్ మళ్లీ ఏపీ మీద సీరియస్ గానే ఫోకస్ పెడుతున్నది. ఈసారి ఏపీకి ప్రత్యేకహోదా అనే అంశాన్ని మేనిఫెస్టోలో కూడా పెట్టింది.

అయినా సరే.. ప్రజలకు మాత్రం కొన్ని సందేహాలు కలుగుతున్నాయి. అవి యివీ..

1) కేంద్రంలో కాంగ్రెస్ భాగస్వామిగా ఉండే ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడితే చాలు.. ఏపీకి ప్రత్యేకహోదా ఇచ్చేందుకు కట్టుబడి ఉన్నారా లేదా? అలాకాకుండా, కాంగ్రెస్ కు పూర్తి మెజారిటీ వచ్చి ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడితేమాత్రమే ఇవ్వగలం, సంకీర్ణ ప్రభుత్వంలో భాగస్వామి పార్టీలు ఒప్పుకోకపోతే ఏం చేయలేం.. అని మడత పేచీలు పెడతారా?

2) ఏపీకి ప్రత్యేకహోదాతో పాటు, మేనిఫెస్టోలో తాము ఇచ్చిన అన్ని హామీలను అమలుచేసేట్లయితే మాత్రమే.. సంకీర్ణ ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడే పరిస్థితి వస్తే అందులో తాము భాగస్వామి అవుతాం అని.. లేకపోతే.. ఆ ప్రభుత్వంలో చేరనే చేరమని ఇప్పుడే స్పష్టం చేయగలరా?


3) కేంద్రంలో కాంగ్రెస్ సంకీర్ణం రావడం మాత్రమే కాదు, రాష్ట్రంలో కూడా కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడితేనే ప్రత్యేకహోదా ఇస్తాం అని మడత పేచీ పెట్టకుండా ఉంటారా?


4) గెలిచిన తర్వాత ప్రత్యేక హోదా ఇవ్వడానికి ఏయే కండిషన్స్ అప్లయి అవుతాయో.. ఇప్పుడే చెప్పగలరా? లేదా, బేషరత్తుగా ఇచ్చేస్తాం అనే మాట అనగలరా?

అని ప్రజలు అడుగుతున్నారు. ప్రత్యేకహోదా అనే మాటతోనే ఏపీ ప్రజలను బురిడీ కొట్టించడం సాధ్యం కాదని, ఆచరణాత్మకంగా తాము ఎలా ఇవ్వగలరో చెప్పి నమ్మించాలని ప్రజలు అనుకుంటున్నారు.

ఏపీలోని ప్రజల మీద ఎన్నికల సందర్భంగా చంద్రబాబునాయుడు సరికొత్త బ్రహ్మాస్త్రాన్ని సంధించారు. ఏ దందా ద్వారా అయితే జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వం రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా భ్రష్టుపట్టిపోతున్నదో.. దానికి చంద్రబాబు విరుగుడును ప్రకటించారు. ఏ దందా ద్వారా.. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రతి వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యే కూడా కోట్లు వెనకేస్తున్నారా.. అలాంటి దందాలకు సమూలంగా చెక్ పెట్టే హామీని చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ప్రజలకు అందించారు. తమ ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడితే.. మళ్లీ ఉచితంగా ఇసుక పంపిణీ ఉంటుందని ఆయన గోదావరి జిల్లాల్లో జరిగిన ప్రజాగళం సభల్లో ప్రకటించారు.

తెలుగుదేశం ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో ట్రాక్టర్ ఇసుక 1000కు అందిస్తే, వైసీపీ ఐదు వేలు చేసింది. మిగిలిన నాలుగువేలు ఎవరి జేబులోకి వెళుతున్నాయి అని ప్రశ్నించిన చంద్రబాబునాయుడు.. జగన్ సర్కారు తీసుకువచ్చిన దుర్మార్గమైన ఇసుక విధానం వలన రాష్ట్రంలో వేల మంది భవన నిర్మాణ కార్మికులు ఆత్మహత్యలు చేసుకున్న సంగతిని కూడా చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ప్రస్తావించారు.

జగన్ సర్కారు అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత.. చాన్నాళ్ల పాటు అసలు ఇసుక అందుబాటులోనే లేకుండా విక్రయాలను ఆపు చేయించారు. అప్పట్లో రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా భవన నిర్మాణ రంగం మొత్తం స్తంభించిపోవడం, రోజుకూలీ పనులు కూడా లేక వందల మంద కార్మికులు ఆకలి చావులు చావడం, ఆత్మహత్యలు చేసుకోవడం ఇవన్నీ కూడా ప్రజలకు గుర్తుండే ఉంటాయి. ఆ తర్వాత కొత్త ఇసుక విధానం తీసుకు వచ్చినప్పటినుంచి.. వైసీపీ నాయకుల దోపిడీ మొదలైంది. ఇసుక విక్రయాల్లో  ప్రతి వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యే కూడా కోట్లకు కోట్ల రూపాయలు దండుకోవడం మొదలెట్టారు. ఇసుక ధర అమాంతం పెరిగిపోవడంతో పాటు, ఇసుక విక్రయాల సమయంలో ఒకటే బిల్లుతో అనేక లోడ్లు ఇసుకను తరలించడం, అసలు బిల్లులే లేకుండా ఇసుక తరలించడం ఆ సొమ్ములంతటినీ విచ్చలవిడిగా అధికార పార్టీ నాయకులు కాజేయడం ఒక అలవాటుగా మారింది.

నోట్లరద్దు తరవాతి పరిణామాల్లో.. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కిళ్లీ బంకు వద్ద కూడా డిజిటల్ మనీ, యూపీఐ పేమెంట్లు వాడుకలోకి రాగా.. దేశంలో ఏపీలోని ఇసుక, లిక్కర్ వ్యాపారాల్లో మాత్రమే డిజిటల్ కరెన్సీ వినియోగం అమల్లోకి రాలేదు. అంటే.. పేమెంట్లు ఎక్కడా అధికారికంగా రికార్డు కాకుండా.. కేవలం నగదు రూపంలో మాత్రమే తీసుకుంటూ విచ్చలవిడి దోపిడీకి పాల్పడ్డారు. పైగా సామాన్యులకు ఇసుక అనేది ఒక అందని పదార్థంలాగా తయారైంది. రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరి మీద కామన్ గా ప్రభావం చూపించే అంశాలలో రోడ్లు, ఇసుక వంటివి తప్పకుండా ఉంటాయి. అలాంటిది ఇసుకను తమ ప్రభుత్వం వస్తే ఉచితంగా పంపిణీ చేస్తాం అని చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ప్రకటించడం అనేది ఈ ఎన్నికలకు ఓటర్ల మీద బ్రహ్మాస్త్రంగానే పలువురు భావిస్తున్నారు.

వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ తరఫున ఎంపీగా గెలిచి, ఆ పార్టీలో ఉంటూనే జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి దుర్మార్గాల మీద విచ్చలవిడిగా దండయాత్ర సాగించిన వ్యక్తి రఘురామక్రిష్ణ రాజు. ఢిల్లీ నుంచి రచ్చబండ పేరుతో వారానికి ఒకసారి యూట్యూబ్ లైవ్ లతో.. జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వ నిర్ణయాలు, అందులోని అరాచకత్వాల గురించి ప్రజలు జాగృతం కావాల్సిన అవసరం గురించి ఆయన పదేపదే చెబుతూ వచ్చారు. ఆయన రచ్చబండ కార్యక్రమానికి తెలుగు ప్రజల్లో విస్తృతమైన ఆదరణ ఉండేది.

అలాంటి రఘురామక్రిష్ణ రాజు ఇప్పుడు తెలుగుదేశంలో చేరారు. వచ్చే ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీచేయాలని కూడా అనుకుంటున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా విలేకరులు ఆయనను తెలుగుదేశం లో చేరిన తర్వాత భవిష్యత్ వ్యూహం గురించి అడిగినప్పుడు..  మే11 వ తేదీ వరకు తన రచ్చబండ కార్యక్రమం యథావిధిగా కొనసాగుతుందని చెప్పుకొచ్చారు. అంటే.. జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వ అరాచకాల గురించి ఉతికి ఆరేయడం అనే ప్రక్రయి మే 11 వరకు అనగా, పోలింగ్ కు రెండు రోజుల ముందు వరకు కొనసాగిస్తారన్నమాట.  ఎన్నికల ప్రచారానికి తుది గడువు వరకు తన రచ్చబండ ఉతికి ఆరేయడం కంటిన్యూ అవుతుందని రఘురామ స్పష్టం చేసేస్తున్నారు.

ఈ అయిదేళ్లుగా నిర్వహిస్తున్న రచ్చబండ ద్వారా.. జగన్ సర్కారు వైఫల్యాలని ఎప్పటికప్పుడు ఎండగడుతూ వచ్చారు. రఘురామ చాలా టెక్నికల్ గా.. ‘పార్టీ వ్యతిరేక కార్యకలాపాలకు పాల్పడుతున్నారనే’ నింద తన మీదకు రాకుండా.. మా పార్టీ చాలా గొప్పది కానీ మా ముఖ్యమంత్రే దుర్మార్గుడు. మా పార్టీ చాలా గొప్ప విధానాలనే ప్రకటించింది.. మా ప్రభుత్వమే ప్రజలకు ద్రోహం చేస్తోంది లాంటి మెలిక మాటలతో చెలరేగుతేూ వచ్చారు.

ఆయన మీద రకరకాల కేసులు పెట్టి.. ఏపీ సీఐడీ పోలీసులు అరెస్టు చేశారు కూడా. అరెస్టు చేసిన తర్వాత.. పోలీసులు తనను తీవ్రంగా హింసించారని, చంపడానికి ప్రయత్నించారని, సీఎం జగన్ తనను చంపడానికి పోలీసు గూండాలను ప్రయోగించారని కూడా రఘురామ ఆరోపించారు. ఇలా జగన్ సర్కారు ఆయనను ముప్పతిప్పలు పెట్టినప్పటికీ సహించారు. ఆయనమీద అనర్హత వేటు వేయించడానికి ప్రయత్నించినా వైసీపీ సఫలం కాలేకపోయింది. ఇన్ని పరిణామాల మధ్య తాజాగా తెలుగుదేశంలో చేరిన రఘురామ.. ఉండి నియోజకవర్గం నుంచి ఎమ్మెల్యే బరిలోకి దిగే అవకాశం ఉన్నదని పార్టీ వర్గాలు చెబుతున్నాయి.
