Salman Khan And A.R. Murugadoss Collaborate For ‘Sikandar’, Set To Hit Theaters On Eid 2025

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan gave his fans a special reason to celebrate Eid. The actor officially unveiled the title of his next film with A.R. Murugadoss, titled ‘Sikandar’. The film marks the first collaboration with renowned director A.R. Murugadoss.

The Bollywood Bhaijaan took to his Instagram handle, shared the title poster of his film, and wrote, “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak!”

Earlier, Salman Khan tweeted about his collaboration on this movie and penned, “Glad to join forces with the exceptionally talented, @ARMurugadoss and my friend #SajidNadiadwala for a very exciting film!! This collaboration is special and I look forward to this journey with your love and blessings. Releasing Eid 2025.”

Salman Khan is well known for his Eid releases and has dominated the Eid release schedule since 2010 with his film Dabaang. His major Eid releases include Bodyguard, Kick, Ek Tha Tiger, Bajarangi Bhaijaan, Sultaan, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

The film is helmed by Ghajini filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The other cast and technical crew details of this film. Salman will be seen in and as ‘Sikandar’ in this flick. The film is slated to hit theaters on Eid 2025.

On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’, which is the third installment of the Tiger franchise. He will be seen in director Vishnuvardhan’s next, The Bull. An official announcement has yet to be made.

Chandrababu, Jagan Call to Protect AP From The Clutches Of Jagan

TDP supremo and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan have called upon the people to protect the state of Andhra Pradesh from the clutches of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Addressing a joint election rally in Tanuku, they said that TDP, Jana Sena and BJP joined together only to save the state from the repressive and corrupt regime of YS Jagan and also to pave the way for the all-round development of the state.

Chandrababu reiterated his promise that soon after coming to power the first signature will be conducting Mega DSC. He assured that the government will focus on creating immense employment opportunities for the youth and also skill development environment.

Chandrababu expressed gratitude to the unconditional support extended by Pawan Kalyan to him, at a time when he was in trouble. “I will never forget it”, he said. He appreciated Pawan Kalyan’s commitment for alliance so as to avoid a split in anti-government votes.

He said that both of them decided to include BJP in their alliance realizing the need of Central government’s cooperation in the development of the state, which has been ruined by YS Jagan for the last five years. He recalled that in 2014, when three parties were together, people of combined West Godavari supported them by electing in all 15 seats. He urged people to extend similar support now also.

Naidu said that people should support them if they want jobs, if they want to complete Polavaram and other major projects.

Pawan Kalyan said that when the alliance comes to power, their first words in the Assembly will be on the welfare of middle class people.  He criticized that the state government has looted about Rs.70,000 crores of money of TA, DA and surrender leaves related to the police personnel, he assured that the new government will focus on their welfare.

He said that the YCP government that made the farmers cry should be wiped out in this election. He deplored that when people asked about the rehabilitation of Polavaram project, the minister was dancing.

Top leaders of TDP, Janasena and BJP have called for the rule of NDA to come in Andhra Pradesh, ending the evil regime of YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Participating in a joint campaign meeting in Nidadavolu on Wednesday evening, along with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and BJP state president D Purandeswari, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu said that the NDA will give oxygen to the state which is struggling to survive.

He accused Jagan Mohan Reddy of giving Rs. 10 to the poor in the name of welfare and stealing Rs. 100. Both Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan urged people to elect Purandeswari of BJP from Rajahmundry Lok Sabha and Kandula Durgesh of Jana Sena from Nidadavolu Assembly.

They made it clear that even though the flags are different, their agenda is the same. Stating that the state is on ventilator due to the mistakes made by Jagan Reddy, Naidu assured that NDA will survive like oxygen for the state which is struggling and said that all the projects including Polavaram will be completed and the capital should be built.

Chandrababu said that the industrial corridors should be completed and Narendra Modi’s cooperation is necessary for all these to be fulfilled. He asserted that the NDA alliance has the power and maneuverability to steer a misguided administration.

Stating that India is going to be a super power in the world by 2047 under the leadership of Narendra Modi and India will emerge as the first or second strongest economy, Chandrababu said that AP also should reach the race of development, for which the NDA government should be formed here.

He said that discontent is hurting the ruling YSRCP and even MLCs are resigning one by one though they are still having over four year term. He reminded that MLCs like Iqbal, Ramachandraiah and Vamsi have come out and joined TDP, saying that the future of the state is important for them.

Chandrababu accused that the state was handed over to four Reddys, like Sai Reddy, Subbareddy, Sajjala Reddy and Pedireddy. He expressed anger that Jagan Reddy is trying to create a wedge between the castes while the alliance is moving forward mutually.

Delhi Minister Raaj Kumar Anand Resigned From AAP

Giving a big jolt to the Aam Admi Party (AAP) following the arrest of its chief and Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal, Delhi Minister Raaj Kumar Anand on Wednesday resigned from the Cabinet and quit the AAP, alleging Dalits were not given representation in the party. This is notably the first resignation from the Arvind Kejriwal government after the Delhi CM was arrested on March 21

An MLA from the Patel Nagar Vidhan Sabha constituency, he won the 2020 Delhi Assembly Election from the Patel Nagar seat by defeating BJP  Pravesh Ratn with a margin of over 30,000 votes. He became the Delhi Cabinet minister in November, 2022. He was also having additional charge of Labour and Employment, SC and ST, Land and Building, Cooperative and Gurudwara Elections departments.

Soon after announcing his resignation, Anand said, “AAP is neck-deep in corruption. And I can’t talk work with corrupt people. The connection with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal happened because he had said ‘Rajniti badlegi toh desh badlega‘…Today politics hasn’t changed but the politician has. I have sent my resignation to the chief minister’s office.”

“We have 13 Rajya Sabha MPs, but none of them are Dalit, women or from backward classes. There is no respect for Dalit MLAs, councillors and ministers in this party. In such a situation, all Dalits feel cheated. Due to all this, it is difficult for me to remain in this party,” he added.

However, AAP claimed that the resignation of Delhi minister Raaj Kumar Anand vindicates its stand that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest was aimed at finishing the party, and accused the BJP of using the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the CBI to “break our ministers and MLAs”.

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said, “It is ‘agnipariksha’ (trial by fire) of AAP ministers and MLAs,” he said. He said although the resignation may demotivate some party workers, the party will stand strong against attempts to break the organisation.

Singh said earlier the BJP used to call Anand corrupt “when a raid was conducted against him by the ED but now the party will welcome him into its fold with garlands”.

Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj claimed that Anand may have been coerced to quit the AAP and added that the party will not call him a “betrayer.” “He is a family man and has kids and relatives. Not everyone is Sanjay Singh and they can rot in jail for so many days,” Bharadwaj added.

In a sensational revelation, BJP Legislature Party leader A Maheshwar Reddy alleges that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is not feeling comfortable in Congress Party and attempting to quit the party with seizable number of MLAs.

According to him, Revanth Reddy is doing exercise to poach about 25 MLAs from BRS and other parties, so that to form a separate group with a section of Congress MLAs and continue as Chief Minister.

Referring to recent statement of the chief minister that a conspiracy is going on against him to defeat Congress in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls from Mahabubnagar, he said this shows his `insecurity’ within Congress.

 “To make his position strong in the party, the CM is trying to poach 25 MLAs from BRS and other parties. This was confirmed by Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, who claimed that 25 MLAs are in touch with the CM,” he added.

Stating that Revanth Reddy is considering various alternatives in this regard, Maheshwar Reddy said that “Plan ‘A’ of Revanth Reddy is to know how many people will be with him if he is in Congress. And plan ‘B’ is to find out how many leaders will come out of the party if he forms his own party.

Presently, the BJP leader asserted that there is no threat to Revanth Reddy to continue as Chief Minister from oppositoin parties. But, he said the real threat comes from within Congress only. He said that as many as over 10 Congress leaders were competing for the post of Chief Minister.

That’s why, he said that  the Chief Minister was not comfortable in Congress as he had threats from his own party leaders. “CM himself declaring that Congress leaders are trying to defeat the party’s Mahabubnagar candidate in the Lok Sabha elections is an indication about the insecure situation prevailing in the party,”he said.

With regard to BJP, the Legislature Party leader asserted that all their MLAs are in tack and no one from his party is in touch with Chief Minister. “Even if the gates and the windows are opened no one will join Congress from BJP,” he added.

According to him, there were five Shinde’s in the Congress party, hence there was no need for other parties to pull down the government. “We don’t have to do anything. They will fight among themselves and the government will collapse,”he said.

వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అభ్యర్థుల నాయకుల అరాచక పోకడలకు ఇదొక పెద్ద ఉదాహరణ. ప్రజలతో మమేకం అయి ఉండాల్సిన పనిని మొత్తం వారు వాలంటీర్ల మీద పెట్టి.. ఈ అయిదేళ్ల పాటు దందాలు సాగించుకోవడంలో నిమగ్నం అయిపోయారు. నాయకులు ప్రజలను పట్టించుకోలేదు. ఆక్రమణలు, అక్రమార్జనల మీదనే వారి కాన్సంట్రేషన్ మొత్తం సాగిపోయింది. ప్రభుత్వ పథకాల్ని ప్రజల వద్దకు వాలంటీర్లు తీసుకువెళుతున్నారు కదా..

వారందరూ తమ పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలే కదా.. తమకు కొమ్ము కాయడానికే ఉన్నారు కదా.. ఇంకా ప్రజలను ప్రత్యేకంగా తాము కూడా పట్టించుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఏముంది.. అని విర్రవీగారు. తీరా ఇప్పుడు వాలంటీర్లను ఎన్నికల ప్రక్రియకు దూరం పెట్టేలా ఈసీ ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చేసింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో వైసీపీ నాయకులకు దిక్కుతోచడం లేదు. తమ అవసరం గడిస్తే చాలు.. ఎవరి జీవితాలు ఏమైపోయినా పరవాలేదు అనే ఉద్దేశంతో వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు, అభ్యర్థులు.. తమతమ నియోజకవర్గాల్లో వాలంటీర్లతో బలవంతంగా రాజీనామా చేయిస్తున్నారు.

వాలంటీర్లను అడ్డగోలుగా ఎన్నికల పనులకు వాడుకోవడం గురించి ఈసీ స్పష్టమైన ఆదేశాలు జారీచేసింది. వారి ద్వారా పింఛన్ల పంపిణీకి ఆల్రెడీ బ్రేక్ పడింది. ఎన్నికల ప్రక్రియలో కూడా వారి భాగస్వామ్యం ఉండే అవకాశం లేదు. వారి ద్వారా పథకాల లబ్ధిదార్లను ప్రలోభపెట్టాలంటే ఇక కష్టం. అందుకే.. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు కొత్త ఎత్తుగడ వేశారు. ఈ రెండు నెలల జీతం మేమిస్తాం అంటూ వాలంటీర్లతో బలవంతంగా రాజీనామా చేయిస్తున్నారు. ఎన్నికల ప్రచారంలో పాల్గొనే వాలంటీర్లపై ఈసీ వేటు వేస్తుండడంతో.. ఇలాంటి కుట్ర చేస్తున్నారు. రాజీనామాలు చేయించి.. వారిని ఎన్నికల ప్రచారానికి, ఆ తర్వాత ఎన్నికల ఏజంటుగానూ వాడుకోవాలని చూస్తున్నారు.

అయితే, వాలంటీర్లకు ఇష్టం లేకపోయినప్పటికీ వారితో బలవంతంగా రాజీనామలు చేయిస్తున్నారనే వాదన వినిపిస్తోంది. ఎందుకంటే.. తెలుగుదేశం ప్రభుత్వం వస్తే వాలంటీర్లకు జీతం రూ.పది వేలు చేస్తానని చంద్రబాబునాయుడు చేసిన ప్రకటన ఎక్కువ మందిలో కొత్త ఆశలు పుట్టించింది. వైసీపీ బలవంతం మీద వారు చెప్పిన పనెల్లా చేస్తూ వచ్చినప్పటికీ అడిగినా జీతం పెంచని జగన్ సర్కారు మీద చాలా మందిలో విముఖత ఉంది. కాగా, చంద్రబాబు వస్తే అసలు వాలంటీర్ల వ్యవస్థనే ఉంచరు. ఉంచినా సరే, ఇప్పుడున్న వారినందరినీ తొలగిస్తారు అనే దుష్ప్రచారంతో వైసీపీ నేతలు వారిని భయపెడుతున్నారు. ఉద్యోగాలు వారికి పదిలంగా ఉండాలంటే ప్రస్తుతం రాజీనామా చేసి ఎన్నికల ప్రచారంలో పాల్గొని వైసీపీని గెలిపించాలని ఒత్తిడి చేస్తున్నాకరు. ఈ రకంగా బలవంతం మీద వాలంటీర్లతో రాజీనామాలు చేయిస్తున్నట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది.

భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీతో పొత్తు పెట్టుకున్నందుకు.. తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీకి, మొత్తం ఎన్డీయే కూటమికి కూడా ముస్లిం వర్గం సమూలంగా దూరం అవుతుందని వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ ఆశపడింది. కానీ వాస్తవంలోకి వస్తే.. వారి ఆశలు అడియాసలే అవుతున్నాయి. ఎలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లో మూడు పార్టీలు జట్టుకట్టాయో.. రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని వర్గాలకు తెలియజెప్పడంలో కూటమి పార్టీలు విజయం సాధించాయి. ప్రత్యేకించి ముస్లిం ఓటు బ్యాంకు తమకు దూరం కాకుండా.. చంద్రబాబునాయుడు, పవన్ కల్యాణ్ ప్రత్యేక చర్యలు తీసుకుంటూనే ఉన్నారు. అదే సమయంలో.. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ నుంచి అనేక మంది ముస్లిం నాయకులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు బయటకు వస్తున్నారు. జగన్ తమకు అన్యాయం చేశాడని అంటున్నారు. పదవులు ఆశించకుండా, బేషరతుగా తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీలో చేరుతున్నారు. ఈ పరిణామాలన్నీ వైసీపీకి, వారి నీలిప్రచారాన్ని కొనసాగిస్తూ ఉండే సోషల్ మీడియా దళాలకు మింగుడుపడడం లేదు. తెలుగుదేశం కూటమికి ముస్లిం ఓటును ఎలా దూరం చేయాలా అనే కుట్రల్లో భాగంగా బిజెపి సారథి పురందేశ్వరికి ముడిపెట్టి కొత్త దుష్ప్రచారాన్ని ప్రారంభించారు.

చంద్రబాబు, పవన్ కల్యాణ్ కు ఆపాదించి అబద్ధాలు చెబితే ముస్లింలు  కూడా నమ్మరనే ఉద్దేశంతో నీలిదళం సోషల్ మీడియా వర్గాలు పురందేశ్వరిని ఎంచుకున్నట్టుగా కనిపిస్తోంది. ఎన్డీయే కూటమి అధికారంలోకి వస్తే.. రాష్ట్రంలో ముస్లింలకు కల్నిస్తున్న 4 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ ను ఎత్తివేస్తామని పురందేశ్వరి చెప్పినట్టుగా వార్తలు పుట్టించారు.

అయితే.. ఈ పుకార్లను పురందేశ్వరి స్వయంగా ఖండించారు. తనకు సంబంధంలేని , తాను ఎన్నడూ అనని మాటలను తన పేరుతో ప్రచారంలో పెట్టడం వెనుక పెద్ద కుట్ర ఉన్నదని ఆమె వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. మోడీ సర్కారు ముస్లింల సంక్షేమానికి ఎన్నెన్ని అద్భుత నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకున్నదో కూడా ఆమె ఏకరవు పెట్టారు. అయితే, గమనించాల్సింది ఏంటంటే.. వైసీపీ దళాలు తొలినుంచి కూడా.. పురందేశ్వరిని టార్గెట్ చేస్తున్నాయి. ఆమె చంద్రబాబునాయుడు కోవర్టుగా భాజపాలో పనిచేస్తున్నదని ఏకంగా సజ్జల వంటి వారే దుష్ప్రచారాన్ని సాగించిన తీరు అందరూ గమనించారు. అలాంటిది ఇప్పుడు ముస్లిం ఓటు బ్యాంకును దూరం చేసేందుకు ఇలాంటి లేకికుట్రలకు పాల్పడడం హేయంగా ఉన్నదని పలువురు వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తున్నారు.

హామీలైతే గొప్పగా ఉన్నాయి గానీ.. ఇవన్నీ లబ్ధిదారుల వద్దకు చేరడం, వారు నమ్మేలా వారికి తెలియజెప్పడం అనేది చాలా ముఖ్యం. ఎందుకంటే.. జగన్ తీసుకువచ్చిన వాలంటీరు వ్యవస్థ ఇంటింటికీ వెళ్లి లబ్ధిదారులను కలుస్తూ.. వారిని జగన్ కు అనుకూలంగా ప్రభావితం చేయడానికి చాలా కాలంగా పనిచేస్తూ వస్తోంది. అలాంటిది వారి మాటలను తోసి రాజని, చంద్రబాబు అదే లబ్ధిదారులకు అంత కంటె గొప్ప మేలు, అంతకంటె మెరుగైన విధానంలో అమలు చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నాడని, అలాంటి చంద్రబాబుకు మద్దతుగా నిలవాలని వారికి అర్థమయ్యేలా తెలియజెప్పడం చాలా కీలకం. పైగా పని మీద ఇతర ఊర్లలో ఉండే బిడ్డల వద్దకు వెళ్లే వృద్ధులు పింఛను సమయానికి ఉరుకులు పరుగుల మీద ప్రతినెలా స్వగ్రామానికి తిరిగిరావాల్సిందే. జగన్ పాలనలో ఒక్కనెల పింఛను తీసుకోకపోయినా అది రద్దయిపోతుంది. అయితే చంద్రబాబు మాత్రం రెండు నెలలు తీసుకోకపోయినా కూడా మూడో నెలలో మొత్తం ఇస్తానని ప్రకటించడం అలాంటి చాలా మందికి నమ్మకం కలిగిస్తుంది. ఆశ పుట్టిస్తుంది. అయితే ఈ హామీలను ప్రజల వద్దకు తీసుకువెళ్లడానికి తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ క్షేత్రస్థాయి ప్రచార సారథులకోసం చూస్తున్నట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది.
