తెలుగుదేశం అధినేత చంద్రబాబునాయుడు నివాసంలో కూటమిలోని మూడు పార్టీలకు చెందిన కీలక నేతలు భేటీ నిర్వహించారు. ఎన్నికల ప్రచారపర్వంలో ముందుకు సాగాల్సిన వ్యూహాలు, ఉమ్మడి మేనిఫెస్టో రూపకల్పనకు ప్రణాళిక, ఇప్పటికే అన్ని స్థానాలకు అభ్యర్థులను ప్రకటించేసినప్పటికీ.. ఒకటిరెండు మార్పులు చేసుకోవడానికి గల అవకాశాలను గురించిన చర్చ జరిగినట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది. చంద్రబాబునాయుడు, పవన్ కల్యాణ్, పురందేశ్వరిలతో పాటు బిజెపి జాతీయ నాయకులు కూడా పాల్గొన్న ఈ భేటీలో ప్రధానంగా అనపర్తి ఎమ్మెల్యే స్థానాన్ని బిజెపి వదులుకోవడం గురించి కూడా చర్చ జరిగినట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది.
అయితే ఈ మూడు పార్టీల నాయకుల మధ్య ఎలాంటి చర్చ జరిగిందో, ఎలాంటి ఒడంబడిక ఏర్పడిందో తెలియదు గానీ.. అనపర్తి స్థానాన్ని త్యాగం చేయడం కమలదళానికే ఎక్కువ లాభం అనే వ్యాఖ్యలు స్థానికంగా రాజకీయ వర్గాల నుంచి వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. రాజమండ్రి ఎంపీ సీటును బిజెపి గెలుచుకోవడానికి, పురందేశ్వరి ఎంపీగా సభలో అడుగుపెట్టడానికి ఈ త్యాగం ఉపయోగపడుతుందని వారు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు.
నిజానికి బిజెపి తమకున్న బలానికి మించి ఆరు ఎంపీ స్థానాలను పది ఎమ్మెల్యే స్థానాలను ఒప్పందంలో భాగంగా తమ వాటాగా పుచ్చుకుంది. వారికి ఎంపీసీట్లు ప్రధానంగనుక.. 6 స్థానాల సంగతి పక్కన పెడితే.. తెలుగుదేశం 8 ఎమ్మెల్యే స్థానాలు మాత్రమే ఇవ్వడానికి మొగ్గు చూపించినప్పటికీ.. బిజెపి చాలా గట్టిగా పట్టుపట్టి 10 స్థానాలు తీసుకుంది. అందులో అనపర్తి కూడా ఉంది. నిజానికి అనపర్తి నియోజకవర్గంలో భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీకి ఉన్న సొంత బలం సున్నా అనే చెప్పాలి. కానీ తెలుగుదేశానికి బలమైన అభ్యర్థి ఉన్నారు. ఒప్పందాల్లో ఇలా జరుగుతుందనే అంచనా లేక ఆయన ముమ్మరంగా ప్రజల్లో ఉంటూ ప్రచారం చేసుకుంటున్నారు. బిజెపికి ఆ సీటు దక్కిన తర్వాత అతి కష్టమ్మీద అక్కడకు అభ్యర్థిని ఎంపిక చేశారు. కానీ.. బలహీనమైన అభ్యర్థి కావడం వలన.. కనీసం గట్టిపోటీ ఇవ్వలేరనేది ఆ పార్టీలోనే అంతర్గతంగా వినిపిస్తున్న సంగతి.
అదే సమయంలో.. అనపర్తి స్థానాన్ని తెలుగుదేశానికి కేటాయిస్తే.. అక్కడ ఓట్లు బాగా పడతాయని, ఆ ప్రభావం వల్ల రాజమండ్రి ఎంపీగా పోటీచేస్తున్న పురందేశ్వరికి కూడా అనపర్తి సెగ్మెంటునుంచి ఎక్కువ ఓట్లు వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉన్నదనేది స్థానికుల విశ్లేషణ. బిజెపి తమకు బలం లేని సీటు కూడా కావాలంటూ పట్టుదలకు పోకుండా.. అనపర్తి స్థానాన్ని త్యాగం చేస్తే.. అంతిమంగా రాజమండ్రి ఎంపీ రూపంలో వారి పార్టీనే లాభపడుతుందని.. అలా చేయకపోతే ఉభయులూ నష్టపోతారని ప్రజలు అంటున్నారు.

ఒంగోలులో బాలినేని శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి అసలే గడ్డు పరిస్థితుల్ని ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. ఎంపీగా మాగుంట శ్రీనివాసులు రెడ్డికి టికెట్ ఇవ్వాల్సిందేనని, లేకపోతే ఆ ప్రభావం తన ఎన్నిక మీద కూడా పడుతుందని.. ఆయన జగన్ వద్ద చాలా గట్టిగా పట్టుపట్టారు. కానీ ఆయన మాటను జగన్ ఇసుమంత కూడా ఖాతరు చేయనేలేదు. చివరికి మాగుంట తెలుగుదేశం టికెట్ దక్కించుకున్నారు. బాలినేని ఎమ్మెల్యేగా సుదీర్ఘమైన బుజ్జగింపుల తర్వాత బరిలోకి దిగారు.

PM Modi Says J&K Will Get Statehood Soon
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said the upcoming Lok Sabha polls will take place in Jammu and Kashmir without the fear of terrorism, strikes, stone-pelting and cross-border firing.
Addressing a poll rally in Kashmir’s Udhampur, Modi said Assembly elections will be held soon in the state. “Jammu and Kashmir will get the status of statehood. You will be able to share your dreams with your MLA and your ministers,” he said.
The prime minister said he demolished the wall of Article 370 and buried it in the ground. Modi dared the Opposition to restore Article 370. He challenged the Congress and other opposition parties to bring back Article 370 of the Constitution, which was revoked by the BJP-led Centre in August 2019.
Modi lamented that People’s Democratic Party, National Conference and Congress want to take J & K back J&K to the old days. “I challenge any political party in India, especially Congress, to announce that they will bring back Article 370. This country won’t even look at them,” he said. Modi charged, “Here political party means the family, by the family and for the family.”
“After decades, this election is taking place without the fear of terrorism, separatism, stone-pelting, strikes and cross-border terrorism, which are no more election issues. There used to be a concern regarding the security of the Vaishno Devi and Amarnath pilgrimages, but the situation has changed altogether. Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing development and the people’s faith in the government is getting strengthened,” Modi added.
“Please trust me, I will get rid of the problems plaguing Jammu and Kashmir for the last 60 years. I have fulfilled my promise as Jammu and Kashmir has completely transformed in the last 10 years,” he added.
Seeking votes for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates Singh (from Udhampur) and Jugal Kishore (from Jammu), Modi said the upcoming election is meant to provide a strong government at the Centre that can take on the challenges facing the country head-on.
AAP Sees Plot To Impose President’s Rule In Delhi
Delhi Cabinet minister Atishi on Friday alleged that a big political conspiracy is being hatched by the BJP-led central government to impose President’s Rule in the national capital.
“Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest is a political conspiracy to topple his government. We have learnt from reliable sources that in the coming days, the President’s Rule will be imposed in Delhi. But imposing President’s Rule in Delhi will be illegal and against the mandate of the people,” she said at a press conference here.
The minister said that in the last few months, no senior IAS officer has been posted in Delhi. “Posts are lying vacant in departments but no postings have taken place. Bureaucrats have stopped attending meetings called by ministers, citing the Model Code of Conduct. The lieutenant governor has been writing letters to the MHA over the functioning of the Delhi government,” she alleged.
The minister said the BJP already knew that it “cannot come to power” in the national capital. “AAP has defeated the BJP in the Delhi Assembly elections in 2015 and 2020. That is why they want to topple the Delhi government. But the imposition of the President’s Rule will be illegal since the Delhi government enjoys a majority. We proved our majority through a floor test on February 17 this year,” she said.
However, refuting AAP leader’s charge, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said it was surprising that the “fear of President’s Rule” was haunting the Aam Aadmi Party, which has 62 MLAs in the Assembly.He also demanded the resignation of Kejriwal from the post of chief minister. He slammed Atishi over this and charged that Kejriwal was feeling the heat of the Delhi High Court’s rebuke.

TDP state president K Achchemnaidu complained on March 24 alleging that being a state government advisor, he is acting like a political leader, daily holding media briefs on behalf of YSRCP. Moreover, it was alleged that he spewed poison on the opposition parties.
However, AP Chief Election Officer M K Meena seems to be not clear on how he can initiate action against him. The main problem for him is that the election rules do not specify any action to be taken if the government advisors cross their limitations.
According to sources, Meena recently wrote a letter to Central Election Commission Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar seeking his suggestion on this issue.
There are 40 advisers in the government, out of which 9 are of cabinet rank, and the remaining 31 are in the P, Q, R categories, and are enjoying the facilities by receiving salaries and allowances from the government.
The EC was requested to clarify the manner in which a decision should be taken on this issue to be applicable to all advisers. As the advisors are receiving salaries from the government treasury and enjoying facilities at government expense, the opposition leaders are arguing that election code is certainly applicable to them.
Therefore, there is a demand that the Election Commission should take cognizance of their activities from the point of election code and they should be made answerable for any violation of the code. It may be wondered that how can ECI ignore their activities for the simple reason their category is not mentioned in their rule book?
Anyhow, the ECI’s possible response to the complaint against Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy is creating enthusiasm in the political circles.
