దివంగత ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైయస్ రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డి కూతురు వైయస్ షర్మిల ఇప్పుడు ఆయన వారసురాలిగా కడప ఎంపీ స్థానంలో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ తరఫున విజయం సాధించడానికి బరిలో నిలిచారు. తన తండ్రికి లక్ష్మణుడి వంటి తమ్ముడైన వివేకానంద రెడ్డిని అత్యంత కిరాతకంగా హతమార్చిన నిందితులను పార్లమెంటుకు పంపవద్దు అంటూ ఆమె నియోజకవర్గ ప్రజలను అభ్యర్థిస్తున్నారు. చిన్నాన్నను చంపిన వారికి శిక్ష పడాలని, అందుకోసమే తాను ఎంపీగా బరిలో నిలిచానని అంటున్నారు. హంతకులను కాపాడడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తున్న జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి కుయుక్తులను తిప్పి కొట్టాలని పిలుపు ఇస్తున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో కడప జిల్లాలో పర్యటిస్తున్న వైఎస్సార్ షర్మిలకు స్థానికంగా వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలు నుంచి ప్రతిఘటనలు కూడా ఎదురవుతున్నాయి.
ఇలాంటి ఆటుపోట్లు అన్నీ హృదయాన్ని మెలిపెడుతుండగా తన స్వస్థలం పులివెందులలో పూల అంగళ్ళ సెంటర్ వద్ద బహిరంగ సభ నిర్వహించి తన చిన్నాన్న వివేకానంద రెడ్డి అత్యంత కిరాతకంగా హత్యకు గురైన సందర్భాన్ని ప్రస్తావిస్తూనే, చంపిన దుర్మార్గులను విడిచిపెట్టకూడదని కోరికను వ్యక్తం చేస్తూనే గద్దద స్వరంతో, కన్నీటితో షర్మిల తనను గెలిపించాలని అక్కడి ప్రజలను అభ్యర్థించారు. కొంగుచాచి అడుగుతున్నా న్యాయం చేయండి అంటూ తన చీర కొంగును చాచి ఆమె ప్రజలను వేడుకోవడం సభలో ఉన్న వారిని కదిలించింది.
వివేకానంద రెడ్డి హత్యకు గురైన తర్వాత ఆయన కుమార్తె సునీత అసలు హంతకులు ఎవరో నిగ్గు తేల్చాలంటూ కొన్నేళ్లుగా అలుపెరగని పోరాటం సాగిస్తున్న సంగతి అందరికీ తెలిసిందే. తొలి నుంచి ఆమె వాదనకు వైయస్ షర్మిల మద్దతు గానే నిలుస్తున్నారు. అయితే ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర కాంగ్రెస్ అధ్యక్షురాలు అయిన తర్వాత వివేకాను హత్య చేశారని భావిస్తున్న అవినాష్ రెడ్డికి వ్యతిరేకంగా సునీతనే నిలబెట్టాలని షర్మిల తొలుత భావించారు. కానీ పార్టీ అధిష్టానం సూచనతో స్వయంగా బరిలోకి దిగి హంతకులను గెలిపించవద్దంటూ ముమ్మరంగా ప్రచారం సాగిస్తున్నారు. ఆమె సభలలో గొడవలు సృష్టించడం ద్వారా వైసిపి కార్యకర్తలు ఇప్పటికే ఇబ్బంది పెడుతూ వస్తున్నారు.
వాటన్నింటినీ తట్టుకొని ముందుకు సాగుతున్న వైఎస్ షర్మిల తన తండ్రి సుదీర్ఘ కాలంగా రాజకీయ అనుబంధాన్ని పెనవేసుకున్న స్వగ్రామం పులివెందుల పూలంగళ్లసెంటర్లో సభ నిర్వహిస్తున్న సమయంలో తన మీద జరుగుతున్న ఎదురు దాడిని తలుచుకుని ఉద్వేగానికి గురయ్యారు. కళ్ళలో నీళ్లు పెట్టుకుని ఒక చేత్తో కొంగు చాపి, షర్మిల అభ్యర్థించారు మరి ఈ వైయస్ రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డి బిడ్డ కన్నీటికి ఎంత విలువ ఉంటుందో వేచిచూడాలి.

Bhuvneshwari Says Youth Future Will Be Brighter With Chandrababu
Stating that youth is the future for the development of the state, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari said that their future will be brighter only if Chandrababu is brought back as chief minister.
As part of her `Nijam Gelavali’ (Truth must win) programme, she visited NTR and Palnadu districts on Friday and met family members of those who died during arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. She consoled them in Thiruvuru and Vinukonda constituencies.
Bhuvaneshvari asked the youth and everyone to work like soldiers to the success of all candidates of TDp and its alliance parties. She said that future of the youth will be brighter only if politics of violence and vindictiveness are pushed out from the state.
She said that only Chandrababu Naidu is capable of providing drinking and irrigation water for the people of Palnadu by completing the Varikapudisela project. She recalled that during his padayatra in Vinukonda constituency her son Lokesh promised to complete this project soon after coming to power.
Bhuvaneshwari told the TDP workers, supporters, leaders and villagers who expressed their solidarity with her during the visit to Vinukonda Constituency, they should remember earlier during TDP regime 24 hours electricity was provided to people without increasing power tariff. But, she lamented that during five years YCP regime people were facing a severe financial crisis due to an increase in the prices of essential commodities, gas, petrol, diesel, electricity charges, RTC charges and taxes.
She expressed concern that YCP goons and leaders are attacking people who are questioning, opposition leaders and activists and women are not protected under this repressive regime. She lamented that not a single development program has been done in the state.
Referring to the unemployment problem the youth is facing, she deplored that youth are suffering from unemployment problems as companies are fleeing to neighboring states because of YCP’s harassment. Due to this, the youth of AP are losing their jobs and are falling on the road.
As the people of the state are all fed up with the government, Bhuvaneshwari said that the people of the state should put an end to this evil regime with their weapon of vote in the next election. She said that the people of the state should vote for the candidates of TDP, Janasena and BJP so that for the return of a people’s government.
Vijayamma’s USA Tour During Elections Evokes Attention
At a time when the political environment heated up with intensive campaigning in elections, the sudden journey of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s mother YS Vijayamma to the USA evoked attention from all. Though she was never seen in the political arena during her husband and former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s active political life, only after his death she started taking active part in support of her children.
She started her political journey by contesting in the Pulivendula by-election as Congress candidate soon after her husband’s death. Later she walked away with son YS Jaganmohan Reddy from Congress and stood behind him as Honorary President when he started YSR Congress Party. She had actively taken part in poll campaigns and also contested for Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha in 2014 polls, but lost.
When her daughter YS Sharmila started a party in Telangana also she stood behind her. But she started facing an embarrassing situation after Sharmila joined Congress and became APCC chief. Her political fight against own brother and decision to contest from Kadapa Lok Sabha, against her own cousin brother YS Avinash Reddy pushed Vijayamma into a delicate scenario.
Observers felt that she left for the USA as she is unable to stand behind her son YS Jaganmohan Reddy seeking a second term to him and also at the same time supports daughter Sharmila, who is fighting against brother. A senior YCP leader said that she can neither seek the defeat of her son, nor wish for political failure of her daughter.
Though at initial stage she has reportedly tried to patch up differences between Jagan Mohan Reddy and Sharmila, insiders felt now it is beyond her reach. So, it is believed that she has decided to keep away from the state and return only after election results.
Last month, Vijayamma participated in special prayers held at YS Ghat in Idupulapaya from where Jagan Mohan Reddy started his poll campaign, on March 27. Later, she also blessed her daughter Sharmila, when the latter started her poll campaign from the same place.
Sharmila Campaign In Pulivendula Led To Tension
APCC president YS Sharmila’s poll campaign in Pulivendula constituency, represented by her brother and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Kadapa district led to tension on Friday, when YSRCP cadre tried to create hurdles.
She is contesting from Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency and campaigning along with her cousin sister and daughter of former Minister Vivekananda Reddy, whose brutal murder five years ago is emerging as a key poll issue this time.
As both Sharmila and Sunitha challenged the ruling party giving its seat to the sitting MP and their cousin YS Avinash Reddy, who is named as accused in the murder case by the CBI, YCP cadre tried to stop them.
The YCP cadre seems to be furious over the challenges being thrown by Sharmila, asking people whether they will support Vivekananda’s murderers or his child? When Sharmila came to Lingala Mandal, they tried to stop her. Immediately alerted police dispersed them.
Sharmila said angrily, “Let the rioters come to Pulivendula. Let’s hold a panchayat at the flower market. Let’s find out who killed Viveka.” While YS Sharmila was campaigning in Lingala Mandal, YCP workers reached there in large numbers and raised slogans in favor of Jagan.
Sharmila expressed her anger against them and alleged that Avinash Reddy was afraid of losing and that is why YCP is obstructing them. As the slogans of YCP did not stop, the Congress workers also raised slogans in response. Sharmila criticized the behavior of YCP ranks.
She said that YCP is desperate, fearing that they will be defeated both in Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. She took severe objection for obstructing their campaign and removing Congress flags.
Sharmila said that she did not have a grudge against Avinash in the past, but after the CBI had concluded that he was the murderer and chief minister Jagan protecting him by helping him to avoid CBi probe only problems started. She challenged Avinash Reddy to come to Pulivendula flower market for a debate on it.
KTR Predicts A Hung Parliament
Though the defeat in assembly elections shelved BRS ambitions of emerging as a pan-national party by contesting in Lok Sabha elections from various states, the leadership seems to not give up their national ambitions.
For the last 10 years, party founder and chief KCR predicted before every election of a hung parliament, in which he was hopeful of playing a crucial role in formation of the government at the center, in the case no party or combination fails to secure absolute majority.
However, due to his misfortune BJP, under the leadership of Narendra Modi has been securing absolute majority, creating history of providing a stable government. After the 1984 election, when Rajiv Gandhi could secure more than 400 seats, only in 2014 Modi got more than 300 votes for BJP.
For the last more than a year, KCR has been planning expansion of the BRS to other states and contesting atleast in over 200 Lok Sabha seats. But after falling out in Assembly polls, now confined to Telangana only. But, his son and party working president KT Rama Rao expressed hope that his party will play a vital role in the national politics after Lok Sabha polls.
According to him none of the national alliance parties secured a majority in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. He said neither the NDA alliance nor the INDIA alliance are poised to get complete majority and by winning a significant number of MP seats in Telangana, the BRS will become a decisive force at the Centre.
“There will be a hung Parliament. Neither the NDA nor the INDIA alliance will achieve a clear-cut majority. If we win at least 10-12 number of seats, we will play a vital role in national politics,” he said, while addressing the party cadre meeting of Bhongir parliamentary constituency at Ibrahimpatnam on Friday.
At a time most poll surveys predicting that BRS likely to be pushed to third place in the state with BJP to be pushed to second place by winning more Lok Sabha seats, than BRS, his observations seems to be to keep up morale of his party cadre. According to him, inflation that causes chaos in the lives of the people of the country is likely to have an adverse impact on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s performance among voters.

ప్రతి 50 ఇళ్లకు ఒక వాలంటీర్ ఉండేలాగా వ్యవస్థను రూపు దిద్దినప్పుడే వీరి ద్వారా ఎన్నికల సమయంలో అనుచిత ప్రయోజనాలు పొందడానికి జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ప్లాన్ చేశారని అందరూ ఊహించారు. దానికి తగ్గట్టుగానే వాలంటీర్లు వ్యవస్థ నడుస్తూ వచ్చింది. వాలంటీర్లు తమ సొంత పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలే అంటూ వారి ద్వారా జగన్ మళ్ళీ రాకపోతే పెన్షన్లు పథకాలు ఏవి కూడా రావు అనే మాటలు గత ఐదేళ్లుగా ప్రతి లబ్ధిదారునికి ప్రతినెలా చెప్పిస్తూ వచ్చారు. ఎన్నికల సమయంలో కూడా ఇదే ప్రచారాన్ని కొనసాగించాలని, ప్రభుత్వపరమైన ఎన్నికల విధులలో వాలంటీర్లను వాడుకోవడం ద్వారా అనుచిత లబ్ధి పొందవచ్చునని వైఎస్ఆర్సిపి భావించింది. కానీ వాలంటీర్లు ఎన్నికల విధులలో పాల్గొనకుండా బ్రేక్ పడింది. చివరికి వారి ద్వారా లబ్ధిదారులను ప్రలోభపెట్టే అవకాశం లేకుండా పింఛన్ల పంపిణీ నుంచి కూడా ఈసీ వారిని దూరం పెట్టింది. వాలంటీర్లు వైసిపి నాయకులతో కలిసి ఎన్నికల ప్రచారానికి వెళితే కేసులు నమోదు అవుతున్నాయి. ఇలాంటి చికాకులన్నీ తప్పించుకోడానికి ఏకంగా వారందరితోనూ రాజీనామాలు చేయించాలని వైసీపీ పెద్దలు నిర్ణయించారు.
చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు రాష్ట్రంలోని వాలంటీర్లకు తమ ప్రభుత్వం లో వేతనం 10000 రూపాయలకు పెంచుతానని ప్రకటించిన తర్వాత వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్ లో భయం పెరిగింది. వాలంటీర్లలో చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు పట్ల అభిమానం ఏర్పడింది. ఇన్నాళ్లు వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్కు ఎంతగా సేవలు చేస్తున్నా వేతనాలు పెంచమని అడిగితే పట్టించుకోని జగన్ సర్కారు పట్ల విముఖత ఏర్పడింది. అలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లో వాలంటీర్లు తెలుగుదేశానికి అనుకూలంగా పనిచేస్తారేమో అనే భయం అధికార పార్టీలో పుట్టినట్లుగా కనిపిస్తుంది.
వాలంటీర్లతో తక్షణం రాజీనామా చేయించి వారు తమ కను సన్నల్లోంచి పక్కకు జారిపోకుండా ఉండేలా ఆ పార్టీ చర్యలు తీసుకుంటుంది. రాజీనామాల తర్వాత వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలారా నిత్యం తిప్పుకుంటూ ఉంటే సరిపోతుంది అని భావిస్తున్నారు. సీనియర్ మంత్రి ధర్మాన ప్రసాదరావు ఒక కార్యక్రమంలో మాట్లాడుతూ.. వాలంటీర్లందరూ మన వాళ్లే కదా.. అందరితో రాజీనామాలు చేయించి.. ప్రచారంలో వాడుకుందాం అని చెప్పడం కూడా ఈ పోకడకు నిదర్శనం.

2019 ఎన్నికల తర్వాత.. జగన్ షర్మిల మధ్య విభేదాలు పెరిగి వారు ఎడంగా ఉండిపోయిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. జగన్ సీఎం అయ్యాక కొన్నాళ్లు ఆయనతో పాటు ఉన్న విజయమ్మ తర్వాత హైదరాబాదులోని కూతురు దగ్గరకు వచ్చేశారు. తాడేపల్లిలో ఉండగా.. అమరావతి రాజధాని నిర్మాణానికి ఆమె అనుకూలంగా ఉన్నారని కూడా వినిపించింది. సగంలో ఉన్న అమరావతి రాజధాని భవనాలను ఆమె స్వయంగా ఆ ప్రాంతంలో తిరిగి పరిశీలించి.. పూర్తిచేయాల్సిందిగా జగన్ కు చెప్పినట్టు కూడా వినిపించింది. తర్వాత కొడుకునుంచి దూరం జరిగారు. షర్మిల తెలంగాణలో పార్టీ పెట్టాక.. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ గౌరవాధ్యక్ష పదవికి కూడా రాజీనామా చేసి, ఆ పార్టీకి పూర్తిగా గుడ్ బై చెప్పేసి, కూతురు వెంట ఉన్నారు.
తీరా ఇప్పుడు షర్మిల కడప ఎంపీగా బరిలో ఉండడం, జగన్ మీద విమర్శలు కురిపిస్తూ ఉండడంతో విజయమ్మకు సంకట స్థితి ఎదురైంది. తనతో ప్రచారానికి రావాల్సిందిగా కూతురు, తమ పార్టీ తరఫున ప్రచారం నిర్వహించాలని కొడుకు ఇద్దరి నుంచి ఆమె మీద ఒత్తిడి వచ్చినట్లు వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి. ఈ ఒత్తిడి తట్టుకోలేక విజయమ్మ అమెరికాలోని బంధువుల వద్దకు వెళ్లిపోయినట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది.
తిరుపతి అసంతృప్తులను సెట్ చేసేసిన పవన్!
జనసేనకు దక్కిన 21 ఎమ్మెల్యే స్థానాల్లో తిరుపతి నియోజకవర్గంలోని స్థానిక నేతల అసంతృప్తి పార్టీ అధినేత పవన్ కల్యాణ్ కు తలనొప్పిగా మారిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. పొత్తుల్లో తిరుపతి సీటు తీసుకున్న జనసేనాని.. పలుదఫాలుగా అక్కడ సర్వేలు నిర్వహించిన తర్వాత.. విజయావకాశాలు మెరుగ్గా ఉంటాయనే ఉద్దేశంతో చిత్తూరు సిటింగ్ ఎమ్మెల్యే ఆరణి శ్రీనివాసులును అభ్యర్థిగా ఎంపిక చేశారు. అయితే.. ఆరణి ఎంపిక తిరుపతి జనసేనలో ప్రకంపను పుట్టించింది. ఆరణి గోబ్యాక్ అంటూ ఫ్లెక్సిలు వెలిశాయి. ఆయనకు సహకరించేది లేదని స్థానికనేతలు పెద్దఎత్తున ఆందోళనలు చేశారు. చివరికి స్వయంగా తిరుపతికి వచ్చి అక్కడి నాయకులు అందరితోనూ సమావేశమైన పవన్ కల్యాణ్.. అసంతృప్తులందరినీ బుజ్జగించి ఆరణి విజయం కోసం పనిచేసేలా ఒక్కతాటిమీదకు తెచ్చేశారు.
పవన్ కల్యాణ్ తన రాజకీయ అనుభవాన్ని, తెలివితేటలను తిరుపతి నియోజకవర్గం బుజ్జగింపుల విషయంలో నిరూపించుకున్నారని సర్వత్రా ప్రశంసలు వస్తున్నాయి. ఎందుకంటే.. ఎన్నికల సమయంలో ఇలాంటి అసంతృప్తులు ప్రతి నియోజకవర్గంలోనూ వ్యక్తం అవుతూ ఉండడం చాలా సహజం. ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితి దాదాపుగా అన్ని పార్టీల్లోనూ ఉంటుంది. పార్టీ అధినేతలు తమ నివాసాలకు అసంతృప్త నేతల్ని పిలిపించుకుని వారిని ఊరడిస్తుంటారు. కానీ.. పవన్ కల్యాణ్ తిరుపతి విషయంలో చాలా వ్యూహాత్మకంగా వ్యవహరించారు.
శుక్రవారం నాడు ఉండవిల్లిలోని చంద్రబాబునాయుడు నివాసంలో మూడు పార్టీల నాయకుల కీలక భేటీ జరిగింది. సీట్లపంపకాల్లో ఉండే చిన్న చిన్న చికాకుల గురించి నేతలు చర్చించుకున్నారు. పునఃపంపంకం గురించి కూడా మాట్లాడుకున్నారు. ఆ భేటీ ముగిసిన వెంటనే.. పవన్ కల్యాణ్ నేరుగా తిరుపతికి వచ్చేశారు. స్థానికంగా ఉన్న పార్టీ నాయకులందరితోనూ విడివిడిగానూ, ఉమ్మడిగానూ సమావేశం అయ్యారు. తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్యే సుగుణమ్మను కూడా పిలిపించి మాట్లాడారు. తిరుపతిలో వైసీపీని ఓడించి తీరాలని.. కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడగానే.. పార్టీని నమ్ముకుని ఉన్న వారందరికీ తగిన న్యాయం చేస్తామని పవన్ వారికి హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
అంతా ముగిసిన తరవాత.. అక్కడ పార్టీలో ఇన్నాళ్లూ అసంతృప్త వర్గానికి నాయకత్వం వహించిన కిరణ్ రాయల్ మీడియాతో.. పవన్ కల్యాణ్ తనను కుటుంబసభ్యుడిగా భావిస్తున్నారని, ఆయన ఆదేశాల మేరకు అందరమూ ఆరణి శ్రీనివాసులు విజయానికి పనిచేస్తామని చెప్పడం విశేషం. తిరుపతిలో జనసేన పార్టీలో చీలిక తీసుకురావడం ద్వారా కాపు ఓటుబ్యాంకును చీల్చి లబ్ధిపొందాలని వైసీపీ వ్యూహాత్మకంగా పనిచేస్తోంది. అయితే.. పవన్ స్వయంగా వచ్చి సర్దిచెప్పడంతో జనసేన, తెలుగుదేశం, బిజెపి శ్రేణులన్నీ ఒక్కతాటిపైకి వచ్చాయి. ఇది పార్టీ అభ్యర్థికి శుభపరిణామం అని పలువురు వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తున్నారు.
