వందల వేల కోట్ల రూపాయలకు చేరుతున్న రాష్ట్రంలోని బెట్టింగ్ వ్యవహారంలో ఈ అంశం ఒక కీలకంగా చర్చకు నడుస్తున్నట్లుగా తెలుస్తోంది. జగన్ మాటలను నమ్మే వాళ్ళు ఉంటే 151 కంటే ఎక్కువ సీట్లు వస్తాయని పాయింట్ మీద బెట్టింగ్ వేసుకోవాలనే సవాళ్లు ముదురుతున్నాయి. ఆ సవాళ్లను స్వీకరించే వారే కనిపించడం లేదు. ప్రస్తుతం తెలుగుదేశం కనీసం 100 స్థానాలకు కొంచెం అటు ఇటుగా గెలిచి అధికారంలోకి వస్తుందని బెట్టింగ్ కాస్తున్న వాళ్ళ సంఖ్య ఎక్కువగా ఉంది. వైయస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ వీరాభిమానులు, జగన్ మీద అపరిమితమైన అభిమానం ఉన్నవాళ్లు ఆ పార్టీ గెలుస్తుందని కూడా పందేలు కడుతున్నారు. కానీ జగన్ చెబుతున్నట్లుగా 151 ప్లస్ లేదా అత్యంత భారీ మెజారిటీలు లాంటి సవాళ్లకు వెళ్లడం లేదు. ఇప్పుడు పరిస్థితి ఎలా తయారైనదంటే క్షేత్రస్థాయి బెట్టింగ్ వ్యవహారమే రాష్ట్రస్థాయి ఎన్నికల ఫలితాలకు ప్రజల అంచనాగా ప్రదర్శితమవుతోంది. ఈ కొలబద్ధ మీద చూసినప్పుడు జగన్ సర్కారు పతనం తథ్యం అని పలువురు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు.

Revanth Reddy Discontent Over ECI’s Non- Response On Cabinet
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has differred his cabinet meeting, proposed on Sunday evening, as he could not get clearance from the Election Commission of India (ECI). The meeting was called to discuss some urgent issues and due to Election Code the government sought clearance from the ECI. All the ministers and senior officials waited till 7 PM on Sunday for a response from the ECI.
As there was no response from the ECI, Revanth Reddy expressed his displeasure and said that they will wait for ECI permission till Monday. If they still do not get the permission, he said the entire Cabinet will go to Delhi to meet the ECI. However, he did not clarify when they will go to Delhi.
Revanth disclosed that they have sought permission from the ECI to hold the Cabinet meeting as the Election Code is in force in Telangana. He said that they waited at the secretariat from noon to 7 pm but did not get permission, so they turned back. He said that it is nowhere said that important decisions will not be taken when the Election Code is in force.
He revealed that they wanted to discuss issues like farmer welfare, loan waiver, paddy procurement, Kharif crop planning, fund mobilization,bifurcation issues and state formation day on June 2 in the cabinet.
He expressed concern that since the ECI did not allow it, there was no opportunity to discuss what to do on important issues. On the day of polling, CM Revanth decided to hold the state cabinet meeting on Saturday afternoon. The CM said that June 2 is Telangana State’s Formation Day and they are planning to organise 10th Formation day in a big way.
Revanth Reddy also indicated that they want to discuss pending issues related to bifurcation of the state, particularly mutual transfer of employees and assets division. Moreover, Hyderabad ceased to remain as joint capital of two states and Revanth Reddy has already directed officials to take possession of all the government buildings now under AP government in Hyderabad.
As SIT Starts Probe, YCP Leaders, Police Officers Are In Panic
As the Special Investigation Team (SIT), formed on the orders of the Election Commission of India (ECI) to look into post- poll violence in Andhra Pradesh, particularly in Palnadu, Tadipatri and Tirupati, a panic prevailed expecting they would arrest some YCP leaders and take action on some more police officers.
The 13-member SIT, headed by Intelligence IG Vineet Brizilal, is divided into four teams and started touring areas where violent incidents took place, from Saturday itself. They are expected to submit a preliminary report by Sunday evening.
As it was already established that local YCP leaders were directly ahead in these violent incidents, several leaders of the ruling party have already left the state, fearing their arrest by SIT. As the SIT members are keenly examining the role of lower and mid-level police officers, who are loyal to the ruling party, in spreading these violent incidents, such officers are fearing ECI may act against them also.
Already ECI has acted against 12 police officers, composed of DSPs, CIs and SIs and the SIT is likely to bring to light the role of some more officers. SIT officers are attempting to find out details of police officers who had remained as silent spectators during violent incidents during attacks on TDP leaders and activists.
They are also trying to identify policemen who passed the information to leaders of the ruling party on the movements of special forces and also TDP leaders, without following the orders of the superior officers.
The SIT teams are visiting police stations, examining Case Dairy files and FIRs keenly. They are asking local policemen who were arrested, under what sections they were arrested? What are complaints against each one? They are also collecting information about policemen present on duty during assassination attempt on TDP candidate Pulivarthi Nani in Tirupati and attacks on the houses of JC Prabhakar Reddy and others in Tadipatri.
Meanwhile, a team of TDP leaders met SIT high officials at DGP office on Saturday evening and provided crucial information witu.
h regard to attacks in Tirupati, Tadipatri, Anantapur and Palnadu. TDP Politburo member Varla Ramaiah, who led them, said they had given details with regard to 30 violent incidents.
Alleging that YCP MLAs Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, Ketireddy Peddareddy and Chandragiri candidate Chevireddy Mohit Reddy were personally involved in these attacks, they expressed fears that many YCP leaders who had committed crimes have already fled the state.
Jagan, Chandrababu On Foreign Tours Ahead Of Counting
Soon after polling was concluded and relieved from post-poll violent incidents, key leaders of both the prime regional parties in Andhra Pradesh have left on foreign tours. After rigorous election campaign in scorching heat and a series of public meetings, they have left with their family members.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy along with his family left for a foreign tour on Friday night in a special luxury flight. As he is on bail in CBI and ED cases, he had obtained permission for foreign tour from CBI Special Court in advance. He is said to be visiting a few European countries.
On the other hand, TDP chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also left on a foreign tour on Sunday night, along with his wife. According to party sources, he had left for the USA seeking some medical examinations.
Interestingly, APCC president and Jaganmohan Reddy’s sister YS Sharmila also left for the USA soon after polling reaching her daughter, who was married just ahead of poll schedule. Presently, her mother YS Vijayalakshmi is also there only. She had left on a USA tour reportedly to avoid taking part in a poll campaign, as her son and daughter are on a political war front against each other.
Chandrababu Naidu’s son and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh also left on a tour to the USA with his family last week. Both Sharmila and Lokesh left on foreign tour, without any formal announcement.
All these leaders are expected to return by July 1 or 2, just ahead of counting of votes, scheduled on June 4. At a time all the leaders and cadre of both YCP and TDP fought vehemently in the elections, seeking winning of their candidates, and they are in tense preparing for counting of votes, key leaders of those parties leaving on a foreign tour to relax themselves clearly indicating gap between leadership and the cadre.
PoK Will Become Part Of India Within Six Months, Says Yogi Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared that the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir will become part of India within six months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi is re-elected for his third term.
Addressing an electoral rally in Maharashtra’s Palghar, he said that Pakistan is facing difficulties in saving PoK. “It has become difficult for Pakistan to save Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Let PM Modi become the Prime Minister for the third time and within six months PoK will become part of India. Courage is needed for such work,” he added.
Referring to recent allegations against India regarding the killings of terrorists in Pakistan, Adityanath recalled that a big British newspaper wrote that in the last three years, there were many terrorists in Pakistan who were killed and Indian agencies are behind it. He asserted that “We will not worship our enemy. If someone kills our people we will not worship them but give them an answer that they deserve.”
Targeting Congress and its I.N.D.I.A bloc, CM Yogi asserted that during their rule, the poor used to die of hunger while on the other hand PM Modi is providing free rations to 80 crore people.
“Those who are praising Pakistan, I want to tell them that PM Modi has lifted more people out of poverty than the entire population of Pakistan. If they lived in India they would not have died of hunger and would have received free ration,” he added.
Adityanath hailed that the Modi-led government has been taking a very strong and stern stand against naxalism and terrorism in the country. “In the last 10 years, we have seen a new India. Borders have been secured, terrorism and Naxalism have been curbed. When the Mumbai blasts took place, the Congress-led UPA government used to say that the terrorists were from across the border. So what was the use of your missile then?” he said.

Former BRS Minister Malla Reddy Taken Into Custody In A Land Dispute
Former BRS Minister and Medchal MLA Malla Reddy was detained by the police on Saturday in a land dispute and police shifted him to Hyderabad Petbasheerabad police station. Along with him, his son-in-law, Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy was also taken into custody.
According to a report some people had erected a fence using fiber boundary sheets at a land parcel at Petbasheerabad on Friday night. On coming to know about it, Malla Reddy and his relatives along with party workers reached the spot.
There is a land dispute between Malla Reddy and others over the land in survey number 82 under Suchitra. Malla Reddy and his followers came and raised a ruckus saying that their land was being occupied. When they tried to remove fencing around the land, allegedly laid on Friday night, the atmosphere of confrontation arose.
When police tried to prevent two sides, Malla Reddy had a heated argument with the police saying how could they get away with fencing their land. His followers tried to demolish the fencing in front of the police.
But 15 others claims that 1.11 acres of land is theirs. They said that they had bought land in the past at the rate of 400 yards each. And the court has also ruled in their favor. They are alleging that Malla Reddy’s followers are scaring them.
Malla Reddy tried to remove the fencing with his followers saying that he would protect his place. As the situation got out of hand, the police took former minister Malla Reddy into custody. He was taken to Pate Bashirabad Police Station.
It may be recalled that Malla Reddy has also been accused of land grabbing in the past. Cases have been registered against him under several sections, including atrocity, for occupying 47 acres of land belonging to SCs and STs last year. Last year, Shamipet police registered a case against him.
A person named Ketawat Bhikshapati complained in the Shamirpet police station that Malla Reddy had encroached 47 acres of tribal land in Kesavaram of Thiruchinthalapalli mandal of Medchal Malkajgiri district.
