SIT Office Locked, Raghurami Reddy Relieved From All Posts

In the wake of the election results, the GAD has issued orders to ensure that evidence of irregularities committed during the previous government’s tenure is not destroyed. After receiving clear instructions from the Governor’s office, GAD took action.

Governor Abdul Nazir has ordered that not even a single paper should be left out of the state secretariat and to increase vigilance. With this, GAD Political Secretary Suresh Kumar has issued instructions to the Special Chief Secretaries, Chief Secretaries and Secretaries.

The CID SIT office in Tadepalli, which was used excessively targeting Chandrababu Naidu and other key TDP leaders locking them in false cases, was seized. SIT chief senior IPS officer Kolli Raghurami Reddy, who engineered the arrest of Chandrababu last year, was removed from all government posts and surrendered to DGP’s office.

Dramatic developments have taken place in the matter of locking the SIT office. A team led by Additional Commandant Battalions Prakash locked the SIT office. Initially, SIT DSP Dhanunjay tried to prevent seizure of the office.  But DGP Harish Kumar Gupta directly intervened and seized the SIT office.

APSP police were kept on guard. DGP Gupta on Tuesday issued orders to the ‘SIT’ chief Kolli Raghurami Reddy, who arrested Chandrababu in the skill development case, to leave all posts immediately and report to the headquarters. He then reported to the DGP office in Mangalagiri.

In the previous government, Raghurami Reddy served as Vigilance and Enforcement DG, Drug Control Administration and CIT head simultaneously.

Meanwhile, the fate of Chief Secretary Jawahar Reddy, who will retire this month-end is lagging in the air. When he met him on Wednesday as a curtsy, Chandrababu didn’t show interest to speak with him and was treated as hostile. It seems a message was sent to him to resign as Chief Secretary immediately.

The TDP is alleging that CS Jawahar Reddy has provided support and cooperation by violating all rules and precedents to the YCP in the affairs of factionalism, financial irregularities, irregularities in the payment of bills. Even from the time before the Election Code came into force TDP has been demanding for his removal.

Fate Of Jagan’s Proxy Officials Hanging In Dilemma

With the change of government in Andhra Pradesh, the fate of officials, who have been holding key positions and known for their proximity with Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy for the last five years, is hanging in a dilemma. Many such officers are worrying about their future in the new government and applying to get relief from the state.

There are several officers who were on deputation from the center and now  are preparing to leave as soon as their deputation expires. As TDP leaders, including Chandrababu Naidu have made severe accusations against many of such officials for their irregular and high-handed administration, they are fearing that the new government may probe into their misdeeds.

As a first cautionary step, instructions were issued that no such officer should be allowed to go on leave or suspend their deputation so that they could go to their parent department. The new government feels that the officers on deputation should not be relieved immediately in view of the allegations of large-scale irregularities.

Already IG Stamps and Registrations Ramakrishna applied with the Chief Secretary seeking permission to go to his parent company. Mines MD VG Venkata Reddy also requested him to relieve from the state. Commissioner of Information and Public Relations Vijay Kumar Reddy, whose deputation was extended only recently, applied seeking relief from the state.

Former MD of AP Beverages Corporation Vasudeva Reddy requested the CS to surrender him to the parent department. APFSL MD Madhusudhan Reddy and Industries Commissioner Chilakala Rajeshwar Reddy have also sent applications to be relieved from AP.

Meanwhile, SS Rawat, Special Principal Secretary, Finance, has applied to move from AP to Telangana. The applications of some other key department officials to go to Telangana along with Rawat are pending with the government.

TDP believes that if the top officials who have played a key role in the government’s decisions for five years resign from their posts, then the irregularities that happened then will never come to light. As a result, the government has decided not to give leave to any of the deputation officers.

TTD Executive Officer Dharma Reddy, who played a key role in lobbying for Jaganmohan Reddy at Delhi and whose deputation was recently extended, has applied to go on leave. But, the state government has rejected his leave.  CID Chief Sanjay  was forced to withdraw his month long leave on the plea of visiting the USA.

Chandrababu Naidu Likely To Take Oath On 12th, Focus On Cabinet

TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is likely to take oath as Chief Minister on 12th of this month. Though earlier it was speculated that he will take oath on 9th, it is now decided only after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony, which is likely to be on 8th or 9th, he will take oath.

As PM Modi is likely to attend his swearing-in ceremony, Naidu intends to have his oath taken according to Modi’s schedule. After the BJP parliamentary meeting, it was decided to hold a meeting of NDA leaders once again, with all elected MPs.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu is focusing on the formation of his cabinet. On the lines of candidates selections were made, it is likely young, women and weaker sections to be given prominence in the cabinet. Few seniors also may be accommodated.

The major issue of inducting Nara Lokesh and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is yet to be decided. According to TDP sources, discussions are going on towards the proposal that Lokesh may be given party responsibility making him as TDP state president. Already few leaders indicated such a move before counting of votes.

Pawan Kalyan also said to be not decided on joining in the cabinet. He is also said to be thinking of inducting BC, SC and women from his party into the cabinet, focusing himself on political issues. If Pawan Kalyan decides to be in the cabinet, he is likely to be made Deputy Chief Minister. He will also be assigned a key portfolio like Home or Revenue.

Chandrababu is likely to give preference to leaders with clean image and also those who were harassed during YS Jaganmohan Reddy regime by sending them to jails. More than half of the newly elected MLAs are first time contested in the polls. So both experience and new faces need to be balanced in the formation of the cabinet.

According to sources Jana Sena may be given 4 cabinet berths, followed by 2 for BJP.  Then Chandrababu may not take more than 20 MLAs from TDP into the cabinet. That makes one from every 15 MLAs likely to get a cabinet berth. This will narrow the scope of accommodating many aspirants.

BJP national vice president and former minister D K Aruna, who has won from Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha constituency, the home turf of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has demanded his resignation owing to moral responsibility. She recalled that Revanth was incharge of the constituency for the Congress party and he has moved all his resources there to defeat her.

In a tight cornered contest, she has defeated Congress candidate Vamshi Charan Reddy, close associate of Revanth Reddy by a majority of 4,500 votes. Incidentally, soon after Congress candidate in MLC elections from local bodies constituency of Mahaboobnagar district, its Lok Sabha candidate was also defeated reflecting losing grip of Revanth Reddy in his home district.

Aruna recalled that Revanth Reddy has repeatedly claimed that these Lok Sabha polls are a referendum to his six-month old government in Telangana and claimed to win 14 out of 17 seats. But Congress was confined to 8 seats, where BJP also could win 8 seats.

Referring to Congress leaders demand that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should resign owing moral responsibility for BJP failing in getting absolute majority in Lok Sabha, Aruna asked whether they also demand resignation of Revanth Reddy for his failure in getting the party to win majority seats in Telangana?

She recalled that Revanth Reddy has threatened Palamuru voters that if they failed Congress candidate development of the district will come to halt and Chief Minister has intensively campaigned as if he was the candidate. She made it clear that it is a clear verdict against Revanth Reddy’s six month governance.

Moreover, she alleged that some Congress leaders even from Karnataka go around the constituency distributing money to lure voters. She advised Revanth Reddy that he should realize the need to have cordial relations with the Center for the development of the state. She asserted that the Narendra Modi government is always ready to extend cooperation for the development of all the regions, irrespective of the party in power in each state.

But this victory is a big win for the BJP candidate as it is not an easy task for her to evoke the voter’s response particularly from the rural areas and DK Aruna could do it. She has achieved the fruit of her success in taking the BJP party into the rural areas of Palamuru region.

Chandrababu To Press For `Special Status’, Speed Up Of Jagan Cases

A day after he spearheaded the landslide victory in Andhra Pradesh polls, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday reached Delhi to take part in the crucial NDA meeting. In this regard he has dismissed rumours that he is switching sides towards the INDIA block, but is likely to put key demands in return for his support to the Modi government.

During Vajpayee government also, he never insisted on sharming cabinet positions or some nomination posts, but mostly focused on centre’s help to the development of the state. This time also, as he is taking charge of the government after massive destruction by YS Jaganmohan Reddy in all fields, he is expecting liberal assistance from the center.

In this regard, according to sources, he is planning to insist mainly on two issues before Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On these two issues only in 2018 he had walked out of the NDA. They are Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh and speed up CBI and ED cases against YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

Recently after returning to NDA also he reiterated that he had never had any differences with the Narendra Modi government, except on the issue of Special Category Status. WIth regard to cases against Jaganmohan Reddy, which are being dragged in special court without beginning of trial for 12 years, TDP leadership is of the view Modi government has been shielding him.

TDP leadership was furious earlier also that by continuing alliance with TDP, the BJP top leadership maintains cordial relations with Jaganmohan Reddy shielding him from corruption cases. Already CBI filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court suggesting creation of a special court to deal with cases against Jaganmohan Reddy for speedy disposal.

The SCS will ensure the state gets more Central funds, higher grants-in-aid to the state government and industrial incentives like income tax exemption, custom duty waivers, GST concessions among others. However, this demand will be a delicate one for the Modi government as Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is also insisting for such a status for a long time.

Moreover, Chandrababu Naidu’s focus now will be speedy completion of Amaravati capital infrastructure, for which he may need liberal assistance from the Cenere.

Another demand that Naidu is likely to put forward is funds for the completion of the long-pending Polavaram project, a promise TDP leaders said he has made during campaigning in the run-up to the elections. The project was practically shelved during the YCP regime and TDP was keen to complete it during the next two years.

మంచి మాస్ యాక్షన్ సినిమాలు చేయడంలో నక్కిన త్రినాథరావుకి మంచి నైవుణ్యం ఉంది. ఆయన నుంచి కొంత కాలం క్రితం వచ్చిన ‘ధమాకా’ సినిమా, వసూళ్ల పరంగా దూసుకెళ్లింది. ఆ తరువాత ప్రాజెక్టును సందీప్ కిషన్ హీరోగా తెరకెక్కిస్తున్నారు. ఈ పాటికే ఈ సినిమా సెట్స్ పైకి వెళ్లాల్సి ఉంది. కానీ కొన్ని కారణాల వలన దీని చిత్రీకరణ ఆలస్యమైంది.

ఈ సినిమా కోసం ‘స్టిల్ బ్యాచ్ లర్’ .. ‘రేంజ్ మాస్టర్’ అనే టైటిల్స్ ను లైన్లో పెడుతున్నారు. అయితే ‘ధమాకా’ టైటిల్ సెంటిమెంట్ ను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని ‘మజాకా’ అనే టైటిల్ ను దాదాపు ఫిక్స్ చేసినట్టుగా తెలుస్తుంది. ఈ సినిమాలో హీరోయిన్‌ గా రీతూ వర్మ మెరవనుంది.

ఈ సినిమాలో సందీప్ కిషన్ తండ్రిగా రావు రమేశ్ నటిస్తున్నాడు. ఇక హీరోకి తల్లిగా ‘మన్మథుడు’ బ్యూటీ అన్షూ కనిపించనుంది.  ‘మన్మథుడు’ సినిమాతో ఎంతోమంది అభిమానులను సంపాదించుకున్న ఆమె, ఈ సినిమాతోనే మరోసారి తెలుగు తెరకు రీ ఎంట్రీ ఇస్తోంది.
