183 Anna Canteens To open on August 15th

Reopening of Anna Canteens is one of the key promises made by the NDA alliance in its election manifesto. Immediately after coming to power, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu signed the file relating to renovation of the abandoned Anna Canteen buildings all over the state and ordered to reopen them at the earliest. Subsequently, the officials concerned swung into action and started taking steps towards relaunching this generous initiative. 

As per the latest reports, the government is planning to launch 183 Anna Canteens on August 15th on the eve of Independence Day. The plan is to establish a total of 203 canteens across the state and feed the poor at a nominal price. However, it has decided to open only 183 in the first phase and the remaining 20 in a few more weeks. 

The municipal commissioners in all districts have been directed to accord top priority and complete the renovation works on a war-footing basis and get the canteens ready by the first week of August. The government has allotted 20 Crores to renovate the buildings as they were in dilapidated condition due to neglect. 

Already tenders have been called for supply of food to these canteens and the government will finalize the supplier by the end of this month. Additionally, 7 crores has been released for design of software application and IOT devices relating to these canteens. A dedicated website and a trust will be launched for Anna Canteens to accept donations from the people to run these canteens. The government is also planning to clear the pending bills to the tune of 65 crores incurred in 2018. 

Anna Canteens is a generous initiative aimed at providing hygienic food at a minimal cost of Rs 5 to the needy. The previous government led by YSRCP closed these canteens and left many of the buildings abandoned immediately after coming to power in 2019. 

In 2018, the TDP govt constructed about 200 dedicated buildings to run Anna canteens with a cost of about 80 crore and opened 181 of them by 2018. The food including breakfast, lunch and dinner had been provided at 5 per person (each session) in these canteens before the YSRCP government scrapped the initiative with no reasons.

జగన్ పట్ల వీరభక్తిని ప్రదర్శించిన ఐఏఎస్ అధికారుల్లో ప్రవీణ్ ప్రకాష్ ముందువరుసలోనే ఉంటారు. ఒక బహిరంగ సభ వేదిక మీద జగన్ ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా కూర్చుంటే ఆయన పాదాల వద్ద కూర్చుని.. ఆయనతో సంభాషించేంతంటి భక్తి ప్రవీణ్ ప్రకాష్ ది. జగన్ పేషీలో ఉండగా అనేక అక్రమాలకు కేంద్రబిందువుగా పేరు తెచ్చుకున్న ప్రవీణ్ ప్రకాష్ విద్యాశాఖకు వెళ్లిన తర్వాత.. మంత్రి బొత్స సత్యనారాయణ దందాలు, అక్రమార్జనలు అన్నింటికీ తానే సూత్రధారిగా వ్యవహరించినట్టు ఆరోపణలు ఉన్నాయి. వందల కోట్ల విలువైన టెండర్లను ఇష్టారాజ్యంగా కట్టబెట్టడం ఆయనకే చెల్లింది. ప్రత్యేకించి ఆకస్మిక తనిఖీల పేరుతో టీచర్లను వేధించడం మాత్రమే కాదు, వారిని అవమానించడం కూడా ఆయన నిత్యకృత్యంగా మార్చుకున్నారు.

తెలుగుదేశం కూటమి గెలిస్తే ఇక పనిచేయలేం అని గతంలోనే ఆయన మిత్రులతో వ్యాఖ్యానించినట్టుగా వార్తలు వచ్చాయి. దానికి తగ్గట్టుగానే చంద్రబాబు సీఎం అయ్యాక ఆయనను బదిలీచేసి.. పోస్టింగు ఇవ్వకుండా జీఏడీలో రిపోర్టు చేయమని అన్నారు. అప్పటినుంచి ఖాళీగా ఉన్న ప్రవీణ్ ప్రకాష్.. పార్కుల్లో, నదీతీరంలో, గుడుల వద్ద హిందీ సినిమా పాటలకు ఇన్‌స్టా రీల్స్ చేసుకుంటూ గడిపారు. తన సర్వీసు ఇంకా ఏడేళ్లు మిగిలిఉన్నప్పటికీ.. ఆయన ఇప్పుడే వీఆర్ఎస్ కు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నారు. అదికూడా డిజిటల్ సంతకం పెట్టిపంపి చివరి వివాదానికి కారణమయ్యారు. అభ్యంతరాలు వచ్చిన తర్వాత.. అసలు సంతకంతో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నారు. మొత్తానికి ఈ ఏడాది సెప్టెంబరు 30 నుంచి వీఆర్ఎస్ మీద వెళ్లడానికి సీఎస్ ఆమోదించారు. జగన్ తో అంటకాగినందుకు ప్రవీణ్ ప్రకాష్ ప్రస్థానానికి ఏడేళ్ల ముందే ఎండ్ కార్డు పడిపోయింది.

మూడేళ్ల సర్వీస్ పూర్తిచేసుకున్న దివ్యాంగ ఉద్యోగులకు సీనియర్ అసిస్టెంట్లుగా ప్రమోషన్లు కల్పించాలంటూ విజయవాడకు చెందిన ఏపీజీఎస్ డబ్ల్యూఎస్ దివ్యాంగ ఎంప్లాయిస్ అసోసియేషన్ విజ్ఞప్తి పై మంత్రి నారా లోకేష్ స్పందించారు. ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వంలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి న్యాయం జరుగుతుందని, సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి ఇప్పటికే సిబ్బందికి ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసినట్లు వివరించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మంగళగిరి ప్రజా సమస్యల పరిష్కారం కోసం తాను ప్రారంభించిన ప్రజా దర్బార్‌కు విశేష స్పందన లభిస్తుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.

అలాగే ఆర్ఎంపీ, పీఎంపీలకు శిక్షణ ఇవ్వడంతో పాటు ఇప్పటికే శిక్షణ పూర్తిచేసుకున్న వారికి పరీక్ష నిర్వహించాలని ఏపీజీఎస్ డబ్ల్యూఎస్ సభ్యులు మంత్రి లోకేష్‌ కి విఙప్తి చేశారు. అంతేకాదు అర్హత పత్రాలు మంజూరు చేసి, ఆర్ఎంపీ బోర్డు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని వారు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. దీంతో ఈ అంశానికి సంబంధించి అధికారులతో చర్చించి సమస్యను పరిష్కారానికి కృషి చేస్తానని లోకేష్‌ వారికి భరోసా ఇచ్చారు.

ఇక జగన్ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ఉద్దేశిస్తూ.. నాడు పరదాల ప్రభుత్వంలో అన్యాయం జరిగిన వారికి ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వంలో తప్పకుండా న్యాయం జరుగుతుందన్నారు. గత ప్రభుత్వంలో సమస్యలు చెప్పుకునేందుకు వచ్చిన వారిని బారికేడ్లతో నిలువరించి అనేక ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేశారని మండిపడ్డారు. ఇక 14వ రోజు ప్రజాదర్బార్‌కు మంగళగిరి నియోజకవర్గంతో పాటు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రజలు భారీ సంఖ్యలో తరలివచ్చారని ప్రశ్నించారు.

ఏపీ సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నోట్ల రద్దుపై సంచలన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. కొంతమంది గత ఐదేళ్లలో దోచేసిన సొమ్ముతో వ్యవస్థను మేనేజ్ చేయాలని చూస్తున్నారని, అవినీతి ప్రయత్నాలను అడ్డుకోవాలంటే రూ.500, రూ.200 నోట్లు రద్దు చేయాల్సిందేనని బాబు అన్నారు. ఈ మేరకు రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయంలో రాష్ట్ర స్థాయి బ్యాంకర్లతో సమావేశం నిర్వహించిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి.. నోట్ల స్థానంలో డిజిటల్ కరెన్సీని ప్రోత్సాహించాలని బ్యాంకర్లకు సూచించారు.

 ఈ మేరకు బుధవారం 2024-25 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి గానూ రూ.5,40,000 కోట్లతో రుణాలను అధికారులు విడుదల చేశారు. ఇందులో భాగంగానే ప్రభుత్వ పథకాల నిధుల మంజూరు, రైతు రుణాల మాఫీ, పెట్టుబడి సాయం అందించే విషయంలో బ్యాంకర్లు సహకరించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి బాబు కోరారు.

ఏపీలో మహిళల సంక్షేమం దిశగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు మరో పథకాన్ని ప్రారంభించడానికి రంగం సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నారు. గత నెల 13న చంద్రబాబు సీఎంగా బాధ్యతలు స్వీకరించిన వెంటనే 5 కీలక హామీలపై సంతకం చేశారు. మెగా డీఎస్సీపై ఆయన తొలి సంతకం చేయగా, ఆ తర్వాత వరుసగా ల్యాండ్ టైటిలింగ్‌ చట్టం రద్దు, సామాజిక పింఛన్ల పెంపు, అన్న క్యాంటీన్ల పునరుద్ధరణ, నైపుణ్య గణన దస్త్రంపై ఐదో సంతకం చేయడం తెలిసిన విషయమే. తాజాగా ఆర్టీసీ బస్సుల్లో మహిళలకు ఉచిత ప్రయాణం హామీ దిశగా బాబు ప్రభుత్వం అడుగులు వేస్తుంది.

ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు అధ్యక్షతన ఈ నెల 16న కేబినెట్ సమావేశం జరగనుంది. సచివాలయం మొదటి బ్లాక్‌లోని కేబినెట్ హాలులో ఉదయం 11గంటలకు ఈ సమావేశ జరగనుండగా పలు కీలక అంశాలపై మంత్రి మండలి చర్చించనుంది. ముఖ్యంగా మహిళలు ఎంతో ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురుచూస్తున్న ఫ్రీ బస్సు ప్రయాణంపై చంద్రబాబు చర్చించనున్నారు. ఈ దిశగా ఇప్పటికే అధికారులను పురమాయించిన చంద్రబాబు పలు నివేదికలను తెప్పించుకున్నారు.

Chandrababu Released Rs 5.6 Lakh crore credit plan, Focusing on Agriculture


Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has released an annual credit plan with Rs 5.4 lakh crore presiding over the meeting of the State Level Bankers Consultative Committee (SLBC) meeting in Secretariat on Tuesday. Out of this, Rs.3.75 lakh crore will be allocated to priority sectors and Rs. 1.65 Crores have been allocated to other sectors. For the agriculture sector Rs. 2.64 lakh crore has been set as the credit target.

Chandrababu said that 14 percent more loans will be given to the agricultural sector than before. Dairy, poultry, fisheries, mechanization in cultivation and infrastructure will be given priority. He deplord that during the last five-years the Jagan government has destroyed the banking sector.

For the first time after the formation of the coalition government, a meeting of the state level bankers’ committee was held. CM Chandrababu explained the government’s priorities for bankers. SLBC congratulated CM Chandrababu Naidu who became the Chief Minister for the 4th time.

Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, Agriculture Minister Achchennaidu, Union Bank Executive Director Sanjay Rudra, SLBC Convenor CVN Bhaskar Rao, other bank officials and officials of various departments participated in the meeting.

Chandrababu said that the help of bankers is needed for the implementation of DBT schemes and management of development programs. The CM asked the bankers to cooperate in the matter of subsidized loans and assistance to the beneficiaries under various schemes.

The bankers brought to the attention of the CM that the difficulties they were facing required cooperation from the government. The ministers stated that the banking sector was fragmented along with the other systems during the previous government.

The AP government has made it clear that the role of bankers is crucial in the promotion of agriculture sector and industries and strengthening of Dwcra communities. 

 For the financial year 2023-24, Rs.3.23 lakh crore has been earmarked for the priority sector, while the credit plan target for this financial year is Rs.3.75 lakh crore. The loan target is 16 percent higher than in the past.

Last year the loan target of Rs.2.31 lakh crore was set for the agriculture sector, of which 90 percent i.e. Rs.2.08 lakh crore loans were sanctioned. For the MSME sector an amount of Rs 87,000 crores was projected, which is 26 percent more than the previous year’s Rs 67,000 crore.
