Minister Satya Kumar Fired At KTR’s Comments on AP poll Results

BJP leader and Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav expressed anger over BRS executive president  KTR’s comments on AP election results, particularly on defeat of YCP MLA  Kethireddy in Dharmavaram. Satya Kumar, who has won from Dharmavaram against Kethireddy rediculed KTR and accused the former Dharmavaram MLA is notorious in land grabbing like KTR and his party in Telangana.

The minister said that eventually Ketireddy swallowed up the ponds and hills too. Referring to Kethireddy’s Good morning’ campaign as MLA, the minister related to BRS government’s Dharani portal in Telangana. He alleged that like Dharani portal, people remember about ‘good morning’ also land grab, collection,corruption and commissions only.

He chided KCR telling him that “even if you are confined to a farmhouse and ask in X, the people of Dharmavaram will give you an answer”.  Satya Kumar recalled that four years ago KTR blocked him from later’s X account for constructive criticism questioning his corruption.

“This corruption, arrogance and incompetence have defeated you and your dear friends Jagan and Ketireddy”, he said. Ridiculing KTR showing sympathy to Ketireddy, he further said “birds of the same species give ‘certificates’ to each other and console each other.”

BRS Working President KTR referring to AP election results on Tuesday said Jagan’s defeat in AP was a surprise. Speaking in media chitchat in Delhi, KTR praised YCP’s rule. He commented that Jagan is a hero and Sharmila is a zero in AP. Jagan has done good work for the people but he has lost.

He said that YS Jagan had implemented many welfare schemes for the people, but it was surprising that he lost. KTR commented that it was strange that so many people who had done good to the people lost the elections.

He said that even though YCP lost in the AP elections, the party got 40 percent votes, which is not a normal thing. 40 percent of voters are with Jagan. KTR opined that YS Sharmi has no real leadership qualities.

He blamed that Sharmila was used as a pawn to defeat Jagan in AP. He said that the NDA alliance came to power only after Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan joined the alliance.

He further wondered that Ketireddy, who was always among the people, lost in Dharmavaram. He said he was shocked by the AP election results. Minister Satya Kumar, who won from the same constituency, reacted strongly to KTR’s comments on Ketireddy’s defeat in Dharmavaram in his post in X.

Jagan Attempted To Arrest Chandrababu In Ramatheertha Idol vandalism Case

From the day of becoming Chief Minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy had started attempts to arrest TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in one or other case. He has reportedly given tasks to some confident police officers to foist false cases against him.

Finally, he was arrested last year by AP CID in a Skill Development case and kept in Rajahmundry prison for about 53 days. Chandrababu was forced to resort to a big legal battle as the government started foisting one after another case against him so as to keep him in jail for a longer period.

Now, it is revealed that the government attempted to arrest him three and half years ago in the Ramatheertha idol vandalism case in Vizianagaram district. In December, 2020 the government handed over the case to the AP CID.

 Efforts were made to implicate Chandrababu Naidu as an accused in the case of Ram idol destruction in Vizianagaram district. On 29th December 2020 some miscreants vandalized the idol of Kodandaram in Ramatheertha of Vizianagaram district. This has created a political uproar. Hindu communities took up agitation on a large scale branding YCP as anti- Hindu. 

After the state government handed over this case to the CID. Though CID failed to find any clues and Vizianagaram police arrested some suspects, an influential YCP leader has reportedly brought pressure on police to arrest Chandrababu in the case, making him a key conspirator. However, Visakha range police officials refused to implicate the former chief minister in the case. As a result all those officials were harassed later by the government.

On the other hand, YCP government harassed senior IPS officer Santosh Mehra, who had returned from central services with a brilliant career expecting that he would be appointed as DGP, was harassed as he did not accept to a condition of filing false cases against Chandrababu Naidu, so that to arrest him.

He has reportedly met Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy and claimed that he is qualified to be appointed as DGP. But bluntly said `only our person’ will be the DGP. But promising him to give a key post on two conditions.


First a case should be built up against senior IPS AB Venkateswara Rao, so that to dismiss him from service and foist false cases against Chandrababu Naidu so that to arrest him. As Mehra refused to oblige, he was sidelined and also `Eleven 17; a special scale granted by the Union Home Ministry on the basis of his merit was demoted.

Even after he got orders against this mischief from the court and also from the union home ministry, it was revived only after his retirement in March, 2023.

జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి అధికారంలో ఉన్న అయిదేళ్లపాటూ ఆయన అనుచరులంతా విచ్చలవిడిగాచెలరేగిపోయారు. అధికారం తమ చేతిలో ఉన్నది కదాని.. అడ్డగోలు దందాలు సాగించిన కార్యకర్తలు, నాయకులు కొందరైతే.. అచ్చమైన దొంగపనికే పాల్పడిన వారు అనేకులు. అమరావతి లో సగం పూర్తయిన నిర్మాణాలలోనే తలుపులు వంటి అనేకం దొంగలించుకువెళ్లిపోయిన వారు ఉన్నారు. కంకర సహా దొంగతనంగా ఎత్తుకుపోయిన వారున్నారు. ఇలాంటి తప్పుడు పనులకు రాష్ట్రస్థాయిలో ప్రతిచోటా, తమకు చేతనైనంత స్థాయిలో పాల్పడుతూనే వచ్చారు. ఇప్పుడు ఎన్డీయే ప్రభుత్వం వచ్చిన తర్వాత.. ప్రతిచోటా జరిగిన అన్ని అక్రమాలనూ బయటకు తీస్తోంది. దొంగలందరినీ, తప్పుడు పనులు చేసిన వారందరినీ కటకటాల వెనక్కు  పంపుతోంది.

పెద్ద నాయకులు వారి స్థాయిలో స్వాహా పర్వాలకు పాల్పడితే.. చిన్న నాయకులు వారి లెవలుకు తగ్గట్టుగా ఎక్కడికక్కడా దిగమింగారు. అనంతపురం జిల్లాలో ఓ వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకుడు.. నిర్మాణంలో ఉన్న వంతెన పనుల దగ్గరినుంచి ఏడు టన్నుల ఇనుమును ఎత్తుకెళ్లాడు. 2022 జనవరిలో ఈ సంఘటన జరిగింది. అక్కడి అధికారులు, సిబ్బందిని బెదిరించి మరీ ఆ ఇనుము తరలించుకు వెళ్లిపోయారు. నిర్మాణ సంస్థ పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేసినా , ప్రభుత్వం కూడా వారిదే కావడంతో అతీగతీ లేకుండాపోయింది.

తీరా, ఇప్పుడు ప్రభుత్వం మారిన తర్వాత.. సంస్థ మళ్లీ పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదుచేసింది. వారు కేసు నమోదు చేసి, ఇనుము ఎత్తుకెళ్లిన వైసీపీ నాయకుడు కుర్లి శివారెడ్డిని అరెస్టు చేశారు. ఇప్పటికే ఒకటిన్నర టన్నుల ఇనుపకడ్డీలు స్వాధీనం కూడా చేసుకున్నారు.

ఇలాంటి తప్పుడు పనులు మాత్రమే కాదు.. వైసీపీ నాయకులు అప్పట్లో ప్రభుత్వ ఆస్తులను తమ సొంత ఆస్తుల్లా వాడేసుకున్న అన్ని పాపాలకూ సంబంధించి ఎన్డీయే సర్కారు ఇప్పుడు దృష్టి పెడుతోంది. అధికారం తమకు శాశ్వతం అని భావించినట్టుగా చెలరేగిపోయిన వైసీపీ మూకలు ఇప్పుడు కటకటాల వెనక్కు వెళ్లక తప్పదని పలువురు అంటున్నారు.

ఏపీలో గత ఐదు సంవత్సరాల్లో వైసీపీ ప్రభుత్వంలో భూకబ్జాలు, విశాఖలో దసపల్లా వంటి విలువైన స్థలాల కబ్జా, అసైన్డ్‌ భూములపై శాశ్వత హక్కుల పేరుతో అక్రమాలు, సహజ వనరుల దోపిడీ వంటి అంశాలపై ప్రభుత్వం త్వరలో శ్వేతపత్రం విడుదల చేయనుందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. దీనిపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు సోమవారం సచివాలయంలో మంత్రులు కొల్లు రవీంద్ర, అనగాని సత్యప్రసాద్‌, టీజీ భరత్‌తో కలిసి ఆయా శాఖల అధికారులతో సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu unveiled a white paper on the state’s power sector this afternoon, highlighting his administration’s achievements and criticizing the YS Jagan government’s handling of the sector.

“We have advocated for people-centric governance and state prosperity,” Chandrababu declared, expressing gratitude for public support in positioning the alliance favorably. He emphasized the necessity of transparent communication through white papers across all government departments, stressing that effective governance enhances the lives of the poor while poor governance exacerbates difficulties.

“The power sector is crucial to everyone’s life and directly impacts living standards,” Chandrababu remarked, underscoring the sector’s state upon his assumption of power in 2014, citing electricity shortages. “Over the past five years, the power sector has faced significant setbacks under the YS Jagan government,” he lamented.

Chandrababu recalled implementing power reforms in 1998, establishing the country’s first regulatory commission in Andhra Pradesh despite losing power in 2004. He credited these reforms for national improvement, noting the state’s journey from an electricity deficit in December 2014 to surplus by January 2018. Peak demand increased from 6,784 MW to 9,453 MW, with consumption rising from 40,174 million units to 54,555 million units, achieved without power cuts, tariff hikes, or compromised quality.

“During our tenure, we introduced two thermal power stations, VTPS and Krishnapatnam, and achieved top rankings in energy efficiency,” Chandrababu asserted, highlighting 145 awards conferred on the power sector under his administration. He contrasted these achievements with the YS Jagan government’s governance from 2019 to 2024, citing increased consumer burdens of Rs 32,166 crore, rising debts of AP power companies to Rs 49,596 crore, and sector losses amounting to Rs 47,741 crore due to inefficiencies.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who has been campaigning for the abolition of big notes for a long time to put an end to `black economy’ and first one who pleaded for abolition of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes, has now suggested abolition of Rs 500 and Rs 200 notes. He made this suggestion to the bankers at the State-level Bankers Consultative Committee meeting held in Amaravati on Tuesday.

He alleged that some people are trying to buy the system with the money they had looted during the last five-years anarchistic regime in the state. By abolishing Rs 500 and Rs 200 notes, he said digital currency should be promoted. Already India has emerged as a global leader in digital transactions.

Accusing those who had looted under the guise of politics are now trying to give sermons, the Chief Minister made it clear that there is no need to be afraid of such threats as Criminals and corrupt people cannot escape.

He deplored  that all the systems were destroyed during the previous government’s rule.  Moreover, the Chief Minister in a way giving stern warning to such people, he asserted that he will deal with corruption and irregularities according to the law.

He said that unless transparency is brought back in the administration no one will come forward to invest in the state. He recalled that several potential investors and companies had run away from the state due to harassment in the previous regime.

Chandrababu warned that strict action will be taken if anyone commits any further irregularities in the government. He said that his government is implementing its commitments like free sand and enhanced pensions besides shortage of funds after the previous regime pushed the economy into a mess.

He said that the debtors are roaming daily and several pending bills have to be cleared. Due to the wrong decisions taken by the previous government, the state also lost investments. Chandrababu wants the people to win and the state to stand. He said that the people have won and placed themselves in a great position.

Shocking Incident on Visakha Express: Woman Falls Off Train During Assault

In a disturbing incident aboard the Visakhapatnam Express, a young man, reportedly in an inebriated state, attempted to sexually assault a female passenger, resulting in serious injuries to the victim. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when the train, en route from Secunderabad to Bhubaneswar, reached Miryalaguda station at 7 pm.

As the train slowed down approaching the station, Biswas, identified as a resident of Odisha, was found intoxicated near the train door. Meanwhile, the victim, traveling in the S-2 coach, was returning to her seat from the washroom. Biswas allegedly grabbed her forcefully, causing her to fall from the moving train. Shortly after, Biswas himself fell from the train tracks.

The injured woman managed to reach a nearby settlement, where she alerted locals about the assault. Railway police, led by SI Pawan Kumar Reddy, responded swiftly. They transported the victim to the hospital in an ambulance, while Biswas, found intoxicated nearby, was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

Railway authorities have registered a case based on the victim’s complaint and initiated an investigation into the incident. The victim, identified as a teacher in a private school in Srikakulam district, continues to receive medical care as authorities pursue the legal proceedings.

Former minister and popular actress RK Rosa was known for her fire-brand approach, wherever she is. Whether she was in TDP or later in YCP, she became popular with her harsh punches and hard-hitting comments against political opponents.

But after humiliating defeat of her party and also herself in Nagiri assembly segment, from where she had won twice earlier, she became a completely changed person. Everyone surprising that no more hart hitting statements are coming from her. She suddenly turned to be a soft person and confining herself giving sermons mostly to her party cadre.

She is said to be in a confused state in her political career, as no more fortunes are seen in her party YCP. As her own party key leaders worked hard to defeat her, she may not expect much support from her party leaders if she resorts to aggressive nature against the ruling TDP.

Though initially political life was given to her by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who encouraged her as Telugu Mahila state president and also gave her the seat of his native constituency Chandragiri. But after her defeat in Chandragiri in 2009, on the invitation of the then Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy she joined Congress.

But, unfortunately even before formally taking part in Congress activities Dr Reddy was dead. Later, she followed Jaganmohan Reddy and joined YSRCP. Since then she has emerged as a bitter critic of TDP and particularly Chandrababu Naidu.

But now after the poll result, she suddenly turned mute as her party itself ignored her. During the last five years of YCP regime, she has emerged as a fire-brand critic of Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh. She even never hesitated to use `insulting’ language against them.

However, as the election results were negative for YCP, Roja became silent. Especially as Pawan Kalyan won with a 100 percent strike rate, Roja became targeted by Janasainiks and Pawan Kalyan’s fans. Irrespective of the parties, some people are trolling her on social media.

However, Roja remained silent and did not respond to any spicy words against her. She seems to be angry that party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy himself did not come to her rescue when she was targeted by top leaders of the party during elections. But the same leader went to jail to console ex MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and issued a `clean certificate’ to him.

During the election itself, Roja criticized the party leaders and shed tears saying that some leaders worked for her defeat.  Though she said to be ready to leave the party, not finding any other option for her.

Accusing a large scale scandal of thousands of crore of rupees during previous YCP regime in the name of TDR bonds, TDP senior leader Buddha Venkanna urged the DGP to take custody of the former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy to question him so that to grab real facts.

He claimed that there is evidence that thousands of crores of rupees have been misused and looted under the grab of TDP scandal and details were provided to the DGP. He said that DGP was shocked to know the details and promised to conduct an in-depth probe into this scam by AP CID.

He explained that this new fraud came to light after the NDA coalition government came to power in the state. According to him, YCP leaders bought the government lands in large number of acres where the government price of the land was Rs 2,000 per acre.

As the government has the authority to increase the land prices indiscriminately, it had increased those land prices upto Rs 30,000 as part of a grand conspiracy.

 “Even if the government does not need it, they have taken bonds to buy those lands. This is a scam of thousands of crores of rupees. Jagan is the main architect. The former CM gave orders to the collectors from his cell and pressured them to increase the land prices”, Venkanna added.

He revealed that this scandal was revealed after the change of government and came to the notice of the new Municipal Administration Minister Dr P Narayana. The TDP leader asserted that they will continue their fight against Jagan’s large-scale corruption till the time they recover those looted lakhs of rupees public money.

 “The real facts will come out only if the CID officials take Jagan into their custody first and interrogate him. I will continue my fight till this case is closed. How much was the original land rate in the past?  How much did the YCP government increase after buying it? How did it change hands after that? What is the role of anyone in this whole affair? Should be probed”, he added.
