TDP Alert on `Operation Evidence Demolition’!

Within 22 days of the new government in Andhra Pradesh, the irregularities and anarchies of the previous government are coming to light. Before the real story begins, it seems that the criminals are looking forward to destroying the evidence anonymously. Did they start ‘Operation Evidence Demolition’ to cover up their corruption?

Are they doing it without leaving any evidence for the current government? Questions are being faced. Recently, the burning of papers of CID, today, AP Mineral Development and Pollution Control Board add more strength to these suspicions.

Recently, poor people’s rice smuggling to foreign countries was crowded at Kakinada dock. On the other hand, the story of red sandalwood logs that were smuggled from Chittoor district to Nepal came to light.

In the background of the allegations the mining department was shocked recently with the burning of files related to the Mining and Pollution Control Board at Penamaluru. Before respective ministers take up their tasks seriously, the corrupt officials, who were known to their proximity with the previous YCP regime, are said to be attempting to demolish possible evidence against their wrong doings.

It is believed that former PCB Chairman Sameer Sharma and OSD Rama Rao were behind burning of files at Penamaluru. Knowing this incident, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed anger and ordered the details of the burnt files and reports be provided immediately.

He also directed for an in-depth probe into the incident to know who was behind this burning mischief and initiate legal action against those responsible for this. How safe are the files and reports in the PCB offices? The Deputy Chief Minister made it clear to the authorities that they should disclose the procedures being followed to secure them.

Jogi Ramesh served as the only minister in combined Krishna district before the elections. All his followers were engaged in the mud business.  Sand was transported illegally by hundreds of trippers every day. Responding to these allegations, the then District Collector Rajababu went to the quarries but did not take any action.

Now with the change of government, the sand mafia has broken. Penamalur MLA Bode Prasad criticized the YSRCP government for being involved in corruption during its five-year rule. That is why, he alleged that efforts are being made to destroy evidence.

Rahul Gandhi Meets kin Of Hathras Stampede Victims

Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi  reached stampede-affected Hathras on Friday morning. Earlier in the day, he also visited Aligarh and met those killed in the Hathras stampede that claimed the lives of 121 people.

Gandhi said that the compensation given to the families of victims are not adequate and that the government should give more.  “It is a sad incident. Several people have died. I don’t want to say this from a political prism but there have been deficiencies on the part of the administration and the important thing is that maximum compensation should be given as they are poor families”, he added.

He requested UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath  to provide compensation open-heartedly. He cautioned that if there is a delay in the compensation, it will not benefit anyone.” I had a personal conversation with the family members of the deceased and they told me that there was no police arrangement. They are in shock and I just wanted to understand their situation,” he said.

Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Rai, state Congress in-charge Avinash Pande, party spokesperson Supriya Shrinate and other office bearers accompanied Gandhi to Hathras.  The Uttar Pradesh Congress chief also blamed the state government for the incident.

Earlier on Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Hathras and met with those who were injured and the kin of the deceased in the stampede. He announced a judicial probe into the tragedy which will be headed by a retired High Court judge. The CM has announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the injured.

Meanwhile, Police have lodged an FIR against the organisers of the congregation, accusing them of hiding evidence and flouting conditions, with 2. 5 lakh people gathered for the event, exceeding the permitted capacity of 80,000. The Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday said they have arrested six members of the organising committee of preacher Bhole Baba’s ‘satsang’ in connection with the case. But surprisingly, Bhole Baba was not included in the FIR.

BPCL To Set Up A Refinery with Rs 60,000 Cr At Machilipatnam

The major success of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s three-day first official visit to national capital New Delhi is said to be the setting up of a refinery at Machilipatnam by Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) with a cost of Rs 60,000. If this is materialized this will be the first major central government owned public sector industry being set up in the state in the post-bifurcation period.

This assurance was given to Naidu in principle by the union petroleum minister Hardeep Singh Puri, when he met him on Thursday.  Officials said that the refinery will be completed in four years and an official announcement will be made soon.

Union Minister Puri suggested that this requires upto 3,000 acres of land and Chief Minister assured him that they are having required land around Machilipatnam.  It was also explained that Machilipatnam is suitable in every way for setting up a BPCL refinery.

It will be close to the capital Amaravati and Machilipatnam port is also available. It is said that with the establishment of BPCL refinery in Machilipatnam will facilitate development of the area, besides developing huge employment potentials for the local youth.

On the other hand, the officials are also working on the issues requested by the management regarding the establishment of the refinery of Bharat Petroleum Company. It is reported that the management has also inquired about the incentives offered by the AP government to make huge investments through the establishment of this refinery.

BCCL is referring to the incentives offered by Madhya Pradesh government for them including a loan of Rs 500 crore and GST exemption for a period of 15 years.

Moreover, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat governments are also competing to get this BPCL refinery project. However, as BPCL refineries are already running in Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh and Kochi, they are in search of another suitable area for setting up another new refinery.

Congress High-Command Rude Shock To Revanth On Cabinet Expansion!

After the party’s debacle in Lok Sabha elections and the surprising rise of BJP in Telangana, the Congress high- command seems to be no longer putting trust in Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. His efforts for cabinet expansion and appointment of new PCC president did not materialise besides his frequent visits to New Delhi during the last one month.

In fact, Revanth Reddy made all arrangements for cabinet expansion on July 4th and also met Governor Radhakrishnan in this regard. He was for about a week in Delhi in order to finalize the list of new ministers to be inducted.

However, the Congress leadership gave a shock to him without giving clearance. Party sources says that it was postponed due to the lack of consensus on new ministers to be inducted. Senior Congress leaders, who also have been camping in Delhi these days have reportedly succeeded in preventing the high-command to give signal for the list prepared by Revanth Reddy.

They are said to have also succeeded in convincing Delhi leaders of the need to check Revanth Reddy’s unilateral decisions.  Despite Revanth Reddy’s insistence, party president Mallikarjun Kharge went to Karnataka and KC Venugopal to Kerala without giving him a chance to discuss.

The reason for the postponement is said to be that the party leaders completely agreed with the objections expressed by the  senior leaders on the names proposed by CM Revanth Reddy in the expansion of the cabinet. The cabinet is likely to be expanded only after taking into consideration the opinions of everyone in the party.

In the last week of June, CM Revanth Reddy along with Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Uttamkumar Reddy and state Congress in-charge Dipa Das Munshi had extensive discussions on the expansion of the cabinet and the selection of a new president for PCC.

Presently, combined districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Rangareddy and Hyderabad are not represented in the cabinet. Seniors are insisting that these four districts should be given an opportunity first in the expansion. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy are already in the cabinet from Nalgonda district.

Uttam Kumar Reddy reportedly opposed the move to induct  Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, as his elder brother Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is also in the cabinet from the same district. If at all the party is ready to give two ministers in a family, he is stating that his wife Padmavathi should be inducted into the cabinet.

Bhatti Vikramarka is strongly opposing Reddy’s move to induct Chennuru MLA Vivek Venkataswamy, stating that his elder brother is also MLA and grand son is an MP. How many posts to be given in a family?, he is asking.

Seniors are strongly opposing Revanth’s move to induct Danam Nagender, who had been elected as BRS MLA and was defeated as Congress candidate in Lok Sabha polls. They are suggesting that  Sri Ganesh had won from the cantonment in the by-election.

T20 World Cup Champions Celebrate with Mumbai Victory Parade

The victory parade in South Mumbai, sparked by crowd chaos, led to a traffic gridlock lasting hours. Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma and his squad touched down just past 5 pm. At Wankhede Stadium, the T20 World Cup champions were officially honored with the championship trophy. The celebratory mood spilled onto the streets as Rohit Sharma, along with players like Sanju Samson, Axar Patel, and Shivam Dube, embarked on an open bus procession through Mumbai.

Fans swarmed the Wankhede Stadium stands, eager to witness the triumphant moment. Heavy traffic and parking congestion characterized the area, with authorities providing guidance at stations along Marine Drive. Rice Smuggling at Kakinada Port: Minister Nadendla Alleges Mafia Involvement

Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar has addressed the issue of illegal ration rice exports in Kakinada, emphasizing the alarming influence of the former MLA Dwarampudi’s mafia in the region. Speaking to the media, he highlighted Kakinada port’s transformation into a hub for illegal rice exports, where 35,404 metric tonnes of rice were seized during recent inspections alone. Minister Nadendla underscored that this issue is not isolated to Kakinada but is prevalent across the state.

Announcing a CID investigation into the matter, Minister Nadendla assigned collectors with monitoring responsibilities, stressing that no one involved in irregularities will be spared. He pledged a crackdown on the ration mafia and noted allegations that MDU vehicle owners are complicit in these activities, indicating that a decision on their involvement will be made following due consideration.

Minister Nadendla also criticized the YSRCP regime for burdening farmers with substantial debts, citing an outstanding amount of Rs 36,300 crore during their tenure. He contrasted this with recent actions by CM Chandrababu Naidu, who released Rs 1,000 crore to settle farmer dues, benefiting 49,989 farmers in the first phase. Promising to ensure quality rice with accurate weights, Minister Nadendla affirmed the government’s commitment to fair agricultural practices and financial transparency.

YS Sharmila Condemns BJP’s Effigy Burning of Rahul Gandhi

YS Sharmila, Congress’ AP Chief, criticized the BJP for burning effigies of Rahul Gandhi, attributing to him a journey of thousands of kilometers advocating unity, brotherhood, love, and peace across the nation. She condemned this act as a reflection of BJP’s reprehensible culture. Sharmila warned BJP leaders, stating that falsehoods spoken repeatedly in Parliament turn it into a “factory of lies,” accusing them of eroding cultural values and judgment. She criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing his government of authoritarianism in Parliament.

“Why demean Rahul Gandhi, known for his heroic spirit, eloquence, and selfless dedication to the nation? The nation sees through your divisive politics, deceitful schemes, and attempts to poison minds,” Sharmila asserted. She questioned the BJP’s governance, particularly in Manipur, suggesting it fails to serve the people. “Is this your commitment to the country and its Constitution?” Sharmila asked, accusing Modi of responsibility not only for effigy burning but also for incidents in Godhra and Manipur.
