Surprisingly Chandrababu Restrained During Delhi visit!

TDP chief and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during his first official visit to national capital New Delhi, after taking charge as chief minister for the fourth time, seems to have maintained a very restrained attitude.

Though he succeeded in projecting himself as keen on development of the state, for which seeking Centre’s assistance, but not bother about power-sharing, he seems to not highlight immediate pending issues pertaining to the state.

Being the crucial supporter to Narendra Modi- led NDA government at the center after TDP emerged as the second largest party in the alliance, he was hailed as the ‘King Maker’ by the national media. He had earlier enjoyed such a status during the United Front and Vajapayee-led NDA governments. He used to play a key role on the issue of key decisions like election of the Speaker.

But, even after BJP lost its majority in the Lok Sabha and dependent on TDP and JDU for its survival, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hardly consulted allies on key decisions. Not a single key ministry was given to alliance parties.

As Bihar assembly elections are approaching, JDU chief Nitish Kumar started raising his voice seeking `Special Category Status’ for his state. A resolution was passed by the state assembly and also at the JDU national executive meeting.

However, till now not a TDP leader mentioned this issue. In a strategic move ahead of Chandrababu’s New Delhi visit, BJP’s minister from AP B Srinivasa Varma gave a statement stating that special status is an issue to be decided by the Prime Minister, but not through resolution. Indirectly, he cautioned Chandrababu not to raise this issue at Delhi.

Though Chandrababu asked both Prime Minister Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for release of sufficient funds for completion of Polavaram project, he did not specifically mention Centre’s delay in approving revised estimations of the project.

Moreover, at the end of his Delhi visit, the TDP chief told the media that he did not bargain for cabinet berths for his party MPs. BJP offered two berths and accepted, he said. Moreover, on the issue of Deputy speaker, he said there was no proposal from the BJP and even TDP also did not ask for it.

Chandrababu’s tone is revealing that he has decided to patiently wait to see how Modi’s government will move this time and focus on his administration. As BJP cannot efford to lose TDP’s support, he seems to be confident that he can protest AP interests in his own way.  This time, he may not be a ‘king maker’, but certainly will be `unavoidable partner.

In a recent development, a significant quantity of red sandalwood logs was intercepted at Potladurthi in Kadapa district. Led by SP Siddharth Kaushal, the police conducted the seizure. Responding promptly to the issue, Andhra Pradesh Forest Minister Pawan Kalyan convened a review meeting with department officials. He emphasized the imperative of apprehending those involved in the illegal smuggling of red sandalwood without any leniency.

“We must apprehend the masterminds behind the red sandalwood smuggling. Immediate efforts are needed to locate the hidden caches of logs stolen from the Seshachalam forests. These logs are being transported across districts and states, underscoring the need to bolster our surveillance systems,” stated Pawan Kalyan during the meeting.

ఏపీ పునర్నిర్మాణమే లక్ష్యం గా పని చేస్తానని సీఎం చంద్రబాబు పునరుద్ఘాటించారు. గత ఐదు సంవత్సరాల్లో జరిగిన దుష్పరిణామాల వల్ల రాష్ట్రానికి తీరని స్థాయిలో నష్టం జరిగిందని బాబు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ప్రజలు ఎన్డీఏ కూటమికి అధికారం ఇచ్చారని, అందరం కలిసికట్టుగా రాష్ట్రాన్ని బాగు చేస్తామని తెలిపారు.

దక్షిణాదిలో ఉన్న రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఏ రాష్ట్రానికి లేనన్ని గొప్ప వనరులు ఏపీకి ఉన్నాయని చెప్పారు. గోదావరి నుంచే 3వేల టీఎంసీలు సముద్రం పాలవుతున్నాయని, ఆ నీటిని వినియోగించుకోగలిగితే అద్భుతాలు సృష్టించవచ్చని తెలిపారు. కేంద్రం నుంచి ఏపీ నేతల కోసం ఎలాంటి పదవులు ఆశించలేదని చంద్రబాబు వివరించారు. గతంలో వాజ్‌పేయి నేతృత్వంలోని ఎన్డీఏ ప్రభుత్వంలోనూ ఎలాంటి పదవులు ఆశించలేదని మరోసారి బాబు గుర్తుచేశారు. 

ఎన్డీఏ భాగస్వామ్య పక్షాలతో సత్సంబంధాల కోసమే స్పీకర్ పదవికి మాత్రం అప్పట్లో అంగీకరించానని చెప్పారు. ఇప్పుడూ ఎలాంటి పదవులు కోరలేదని, కానీ ఎన్డీఏ నుంచి వచ్చిన ఆఫర్‌ని మాత్రం కాదనకుండా, రెండు మంత్రి పదవులు తీసుకున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.గత ఐదేళ్ల జగన్ పాలనతో అమరావతిపైన ఉన్న ఆకర్షణ కొంత తగ్గిందన్నారు. అమరావతికి ఈ ఐదు సంవత్సరాల్లో కోల్పోయిన ప్రతిష్టను తీసుకురావడమే ప్రధాన ధ్యేయంగా పని చేస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. 135 ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాలు అమరావతిలో ఏర్పాటు కాబోతున్నాయని, అవసరమైన ప్రాథమిక మౌలిక వసతులన్నీ కల్పిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు.

ఏపీకి నేరస్తులు, ముద్దాయిల రాజ్యం నుంచి విముక్తి లభించిందని చెప్పుకోవచ్చు. రాష్ట్రంలో జరిగిన అన్ని అవకతవకలను బయటకు తీసుకుని వస్తామని టీడీపీ నేతలు స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఈ క్రమంలోనే టీడీపీ రాష్ట్ర అధ్యక్షుడు పల్లా శ్రీనివాసరావు మాట్లాడుతూ.. విశాఖ దస్పల్లా భూములు, క్రిష్టియన్ భూములలో జరిగిన అన్యాయాలను బయటపెడతామని స్పష్టం చేశారు. 

గత అధికార పార్టీ భూ కబ్జాలపై విచారణ జరిపిస్తామని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈవీఎం ధ్వంసం చేసిన క్రిమినల్ ని జగన్ కలవడం సిగ్గుచేటని, గత ఐదేళ్లలో అన్ని వ్యవస్థలను నిర్వీర్యం చేసిన చరిత్ర జగన్ ది అని ఆయన మండిపడ్డారు.  బాబాయ్ తెల్లవారుజామున 5 గంటలకు చనిపోతే సాయంత్రం ఐదు గంటలకు వెళ్లిన జగన్‌.. పిన్నెల్లి ని మాత్రం చార్టెడ్ ఫ్లైట్లో వెళ్లి పరామర్శించడం ఏంటో అని ఆయన విమర్శించారు. జగన్ వ్యవహార శైలి చూశాక ‘ఇక మారడు’ అని ప్రజలకు కూడా తెలిసిపోయింది. తమ ప్రభుత్వం వచ్చిన 23 రోజుల్లోనే ఏదో అయిపోయినట్టు జగన్ గగ్గోలు పెడుతున్నాడని విమర్శించారు. ఇప్పటికే ప్రజలు తనకు గట్టి బుద్ధి చెప్పినప్పటికీ ఆ విషయం ఇంకా జగన్‌ కి అర్థం కావడం లేదని ఆయన ఎద్దేవా చేశారు. 

కనీసం రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రతిపక్ష హోదా కూడా లేని జగన్ నెల్లూరు జిల్లాకు వచ్చి చంద్రబాబుని విమర్శించడం హాస్యాస్పదమని ఆనం రామానారయణ రెడ్డి విమర్శించారు. భవిష్యత్ లో వైసీపీ మనుగడ సాధించలేదని జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్ది చెప్పి వెళ్లారని దుయ్యబట్టారు.  నెల్లూరు, కడప జిల్లాల్లోని లే అవుట్లలో అక్రమాలు జరిగాయాన్ని చంద్రబాబు సూచించడంతో విచారణకు ఆదేశించినట్లు తెలిపారు. 

40 వేల కోట్లు కొల్లగొట్టిన మనీలాండరింగ్ కేసులో 11 కు పైగా ఛార్జ్ షీట్ లు ఉన్న వ్యక్తి మొన్నటివరకు ఏపీకి ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా పనిచేయడం దురదృష్టకరమని టీడీపీ పొలిట్ బ్యూరో సభ్యుడు వర్ల రామయ్య అన్నారు. ఒక రిమాండ్ ఖైదీని.. ఎన్నో కేసుల్లో ఛార్జ్ షీట్ లు ఎదురుక్కొంటున్న మరో ముద్దాయి జగన్ రెడ్డి నెల్లూరు జైల్లో ములాఖత్ అయ్యారని ఆయన విమర్శించారు. ఇద్దరు ముద్దాయిలు కలిసి నెల్లూరు జిల్లా జైల్లో దాదాపు 22 నిమిషాలు యోగక్షేమాలు మాట్లాడుకున్నారని ఎద్దేవా చేశారు.

ముఖ్యమంత్రి హోదాలో తొలిసారిగా ఢిల్లీ వెళ్లిన చంద్రబాబు.. ప్రధాని మోదీ సహా ఏడుగురు కేంద్ర మంత్రులతో పాటు ఆర్థిక సంఘం చైర్మన్ను కూడా కలిసి అందర్ని ఆశ్చర్యపరిచారు. సాధారణంగా దిల్లీ పర్యటన అంటే కేంద్ర పెద్దల్లో ఒకరిద్దరిని మాత్రమే మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలవడం సాధారణ విషయం.

కానీ, రాష్ట్ర ప్రయోజనాలు, ఆర్థిక అంశాలు, ప్రాజెక్టుల సాధనే లక్ష్యంగా చంద్రబాబు మొదటి పర్యటన  సాగిన తీరు ఏపీ చరిత్రలో సరికొత్త అధ్యాయానికి శ్రీకారం అని చెప్పుకోవచ్చు. 2019 ఎన్నికల్లో 22 ఎంపీ స్థానాలను గెలుచుకున్న వైసీపీ, అప్పట్లో పార్లమెంటులో నాలుగో అతిపెద్ద పార్టీగా నిలిచింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్ తన పదవీ కాలంలో 29సార్లు దిల్లీకి వెళ్లొచ్చారు. ఆయన ప్రతీ పర్యటన రహస్యమే. 

దిల్లీ ఎందుకు వెళ్తున్నారో? ఎవరిని కలుస్తున్నారో! ఏ విషయాలు చర్చిస్తున్నారో! ఏ ఒక్కరికీ అంతు తెలిసేది కాదు. పోలవరం నిధుల కోసమంటూ ఆ పార్టీ నేతలు ఎంతగా నెత్తినోరు కొట్టుకున్నప్పటికీ, ప్రాజెక్టు నిర్మాణం మాత్రం ఒక్క అడుగు కూడా ముందుకు పడలేదన్నది నిజం. ప్రజా ధనంతో ప్రత్యేక విమానంలో దిల్లీ వెళ్లిన జగన్. రాష్ట్రానికి సాధించిందేమీ లేదన్నది జగమెరిగిన సత్యం. 

జగన్ దిల్లీ పర్యటనల అంతర్యమేమిటని అప్పట్లో ప్రతిపక్షాలు ఎన్నోసార్లు ప్రశ్నించాయి. వ్యక్తిగత ప్రయోజనాలు, కేసుల మాఫీ కోసం రాష్ట్ర ప్రయోజనాలు తాకట్టు పెడుతున్నారంటూ మండిపడ్డాయి. విశాఖ పరిశ్రమ ప్రైవేటుకు అప్పగించే ప్రయత్నాలు జరిగినా, రోజుల తరబడి కార్మికులు ఆందోళనకు దిగినా జగన్ ప్రభుత్వం ఏమాత్రం పట్టించుకోలేదు. ‘అదిగో, ఇదిగో’ అంటూ పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టుపై కాలయాపన చేశారు తప్ప కేంద్రాన్ని అడిగిందే లేదు. 

రాష్ట్రానికి ప్రత్యేకహోదా గురించి కానీ, వెనకబడిన ప్రాంతాల అభివృద్ధి గురించి కానీ, రాష్ట్రానికి ప్రయోజనాలను చేకూర్చే ఈ  అంశాలప గురించి కానీ జగన్ కేంద్రాన్ని ఏనాడు అడగలేదు అనేది వాస్తవం. పైగా ప్రత్యేక రైల్వే జోన్‌ కోసం కేంద్రం కోరిన స్థలాన్ని అప్పగించడంలో జగన్ ప్రభుత్వ నిర్లక్ష్య వైఖరి గురించి అందరికీ తెలిసిందే.

“ఒక క‌న్నుని పొడిచిన మ‌రో క‌న్ను”ని కాపాడ‌టానికి, అక్రమాస్తుల కేసులు నుంచి తప్పించుకోవడానికి జగన్ తన అధికారాన్ని వాడుకున్నాడే తప్ప రాష్ట్ర ప్రయోజనాలు ఆశించి ఆయన ఏనాడైనా దిల్లీ పర్యటన చేసిందే లేదు. ప్రత్యేక హోదా కోసమంటూ 2018లో రాజీనామాల పేరుతో హడావుడి చేసిన ఆ పార్టీ ఎంపీలు అధికారంలోకి వచ్చాక హోదా గురించి ఒక్కరోజు కూడా కేంద్రాన్ని ప్రశ్నించిన పాపానపోలేదు అని జనం అనుకుంటున్నారు.

 Alia Bhatt And Sharvari’s YRF Spy-Universe Film Announce Title ‘Alpha’

The highly anticipated YRF spy universe is gearing up to enthrall audiences with another action-thriller film. The makers announced the title of the first female-led film, featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari as the leading ladies to play super agents.

Dropping the title announcement video on its social media handles, the makers revealed the title as ‘Alpha’. The video, featuring Alia Bhatt’s voice in Hindi narrative, reads, “The first letter of the Greek alphabet and the motto of our program. The first, the fastest, and the bravest. If you look carefully, there’s always a jungle in every city. And the only one that rules the jungle is… Alpha.” The video ends with the title poster, ‘Alpha’.

Along with the video, they captioned it, “It’s the time of the #ALPHA… Girls! #YRFSpyUniverse.”

Helmed by Shiv Rawali, the film is backed by Aditya Chopra under the prestigious banner of Yash Raj Films. The makers revealed that the film commenced filming, and the other details of the cast and technical crew will be announced shortly.

Speaking more about the YRF Spy universe, it began in 2012 with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, and expanded with the 2017 sequel ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Later, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff joined with ‘War’ and its sequels, followed by Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Pathaan’ in 2023. Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR will join the spy universe with their next film, ‘War 2’, and be followed by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari with this upcoming project.

Alia Bhatt gears up for her role in ‘Jigra’, hitting screens on October 11, 2024, and will also be joining Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in ‘Love & War’. Meanwhile, Sharvari Wagh was last seen in ‘Munjya’ and is set to appear in ‘Vedaa’, scheduled for release this Independence Day, August 15.
