AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Issues Stern Warning to Jana Sena Cadres

Jana Sena Party Chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has issued a firm directive to his party members, emphasizing that Jana Sena leaders and activists must not speak against the government or defame officials. “All Jana Sena cadres should support the NDA coalition government, which has taken charge of AP administration amidst a period of decline and disarray in government systems. No one from the party should speak against the government or its authorities. Additionally, participating in official meetings against protocol by party leaders or workers will also be considered a violation of the rules, and appropriate action will be taken,” stated Pawan Kalyan.

Former YSRCP MLA squarely blames Jagan for his defeat

Finally, someone from YSR Congress party has got the audacity and guts to speak up facts about the dismal electoral performance in the recent assembly elections of Andhra Pradesh. Former MLA of YSRCP from Chodavaram constituency Karnam Dharmasri made shocking comments on Jagan Mohan Reddy and attributed his defeat in the elections to the former Chief Minister’s inefficiency.

Karnam Dharmasri, who faced a humiliating defeat just like many other YSRCP contestants in May elections, minced no words in pointing his finger at his party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. He squarely blamed Jagan and his ministers for failing to rectify their mistakes in the last five years and said that party lost only because of their grave negligence.

Admitting his defeat and outright public rejection in a press meet, Dharmasri was visibly upset with the way Jagan Mohan Reddy ignored his repeated requests to allot funds for laying roads in his constituency. He said that potholes on BN road highway were not filled by his government which is why he faced a humiliating defeat in the elections. He stated that he spent more than 2 crores own money for repairing roads in his constituency and expressed uncertainty to get reimbursement from the current government.

Dharmasri lost to TDP’s KSNS Raju with a margin of 40,000 votes. He won in 2019 from the same constituency and retained his ticket in 2024 again. But, he ended up losing as the party was decimated all over the state.

While many of the lost candidates haven’t got the courage to speak against Jagan Mohan Reddy, Dharmasri’s comments came as a big surprise to the party cadre.

YCP Deplores Chief Minister’s Meet Detrimental To AP Interests

The YSR Congress Party, which has been expressing apprehensions over the intentions of the munch excited meeting of two Telugu states chief ministers meeting on Saturday evening to `resolve bifurcation’ issues, accused that the out-come of the meeting was detrimental to the interests of Andhra Pradesh.

Moreover, the key out-come of the meeting formation of two panels with officials one panel and ministers another panel was termed as a `step backward’ by the opposition party in the state.

It questioned the need of forming fresh panels after the Sheila Bedi Committee made several recommendations regarding property disputes in the combined state. Moreover, it reminded that in the past decade, these recommendations have been discussed in several stages.

However, some recommendations were not accepted and the recommendations which were accepted were not implemented by the Telangana government. YCP lamented that it believes forming a new committee will set the discussions back to the starting point.

A day after talks between Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his Telangana counterpart A. Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad, the YSR Congress found fault with the decisions taken. It stated that it is a time-consuming approach.

Former Minister Perni Nani and former MLA G. Srikhanth Reddy said that both the state governments are aware of the disputes between the two states, the unresolved issues, assets that need to be distributed, and the cases pending in the courts.

The YSRCP leaders also said that former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had told Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the meeting of the southern states’ chief ministers in Tirupati, the importance of focusing on unresolved issues, as Andhra Pradesh had seen no progress in a decade.

Home Minister Shah had assured that the issues would be resolved within the stipulated time frame. “Following this assurance, discussions on divided issues by the chief secretaries and officials of both states gained momentum under the auspices of the Union Home Ministry. We believe that forming a new committee without focusing on advancing these discussions will only result in further delays,” they said.

Center’s Disciplinary Action Against Kolkata Commissioner, DCP on Governor’s Report

The tussle between West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose and Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee reaching peak with the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) initiated disciplinary action against the Kolkata Commissioner and DCP for allegedly maligning the office of the West Bengal Governor.

The action has been taken against CP Vineet Goyal and DCP Central Indira Mukherjee after Governor CV Ananda Bose submitted a report to the MHA alleging that they were  “functioning in a manner which is completely unbecoming of a public servant”.

Speaking on the report, a government official said, “These IPS officers through their acts have not only tarnished the office of the Governor but also functioned in a manner which is completely unbecoming of a public servant. They have conveniently chosen to ignore the Conduct Rules.”

A central government official said that they are accused of maligning the office of the Governor by promoting and spreading canards. It is worth mentioning here that Bose in his report to the ministry in the last week of June had said that Kolkata Police was not allowing the post-poll violence victims to meet him despite him giving them the requisite permission.

The official added, “The Union Home Ministry has initiated disciplinary action against IPS officers based on a detailed report submitted by Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose.” He also added that the copies of the letter were sent to West Bengal’s Mamata government on July 4. Moreover, in his report, Governor Bose has also accused other officials, posted in Raj Bhavan, of promoting and encouraging concocted allegations by a woman employee during April-May 2024.

Incidentally, a contractual woman employee of Raj Bhavan, on May 2, alleged molestation by Governor Bose following which the Kolkata Police also started a probe. The issue became the centre of Bengal politics providing a new dimension to the tussle between Mamata Banerjee and Raj Bhavan.

Mamata Banerjee on June 27, held an administrative meeting and claimed, “Women have informed her they are afraid to visit Raj Bhavan due to recent incidents reported there”. Irked by his comments, Governor Bose moved to the High Court and filed a defamation suit against CM Mamata Banerjee.

YS Jagan Criticizes Chandrababu For Promoting Attacks In Andhra Pradesh

Former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again issued serious remarks against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He accused Naidu of fostering a culture of unprecedented violence and warned that if the TDP cadres do not cease their attacks, the party will face severe consequences in the future.

YS Jagan made these comments during a visit to Kadapa RIMS Hospital, where he met with a party worker injured in an attack by TDP cadres. He highlighted a recent incident in which a 20-year-old boy was brutally beaten for intending to vote for the YSRCP, calling it an attempt by Chandrababu to instill fear in the state.

Jagan compared Chandrababu’s actions to the increasing sins of Shishupala, warning that these actions will eventually catch up with him. He criticized Chandrababu for failing to deliver on promises made to farmers and the unemployed, suggesting that instead of inciting violence, the focus should be on fulfilling these commitments.

He emphasized that leaders should not encourage a culture of attacks. During his three-day visit to Kadapa, Jagan went directly from the airport to RIMS Hospital to visit YSRCP worker Ajay Kumar Reddy, offering him support and assuring necessary help from the party.

Hyderabad – Bangalore Highway Expansion A Big Boon To Rayalaseema

0

The proposed expansion of Hyderabad- Bangalore highway expansion from 4 lanes to 12 lanes, which runs through combined districts of Kurnool and Anantapur, will emerge as a big boon to the economic and industrial growth of Rayalaseema region like never before.

Keeping in view the vehicular traffic between the two metro cities, the Center is ready to widen this road after assessing the future needs. As 260 km of this national highway is within AP and it will provide exceptional opportunity for development in all directions along.

In any state, investments will flow depending on the roads and infrastructure there. Industrialists will focus on border districts if they have wide roads, airports and seaports nearby. Along with this, if land is available at low prices, they will compete to set up industries there.

Now Kurnool, Nandyala and Anantapur districts will get all these benefits soon. Mainly, the central government is establishing economic corridors along the expressways across the country and giving incentives to them. Economic corridors will be established along the highway. This will facilitate entrepreneurs from Karnataka and Telangana to look towards Rayalaseema for their investments.

In these districts, the land prices are low and there is no shortage of electricity and water. This will increase employment opportunities in a big way. As land prices are high in the Telangana side too, those who want to set up new industries there can choose land near Hyderabad- Bangalore highway in Kurnool district.

Bangalore Kempegowda International Airport is just 80 km from the AP- Karnataka border. Puttaparthi Airport is 25 km from Penukonda. Orvakal Airport is just 30 km from Kurnool. Shamshabad Airport in Telangana can be reached by traveling a distance of 195 km from Kurnool.

National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, a central government institution, has already been established in Anantapur district. BHEL construction work is going on. In the past, due to Chandrababu Naidu’s efforts, the Kia industry established a car factory at Penukonda, which had brought a big change in the environment of the area.

The widening of the National Highway with 12 lanes will create an opportunity for a large number of new industries to come up. If government lands are identified along this highway and APIIC industrial clusters are set up in them, small and medium scale industries will also flock to these areas.

How Jagan’s proxy officials Turned Chandrababu’s Favourites?

Most of the key appointments in Chandrababu Naidu administration are resulting in discontent among TDP cadres. They are surprised that several officers who were known to their proximity with previous YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime and against whom TDP itself levelled severe accusations, are now again placed in key positions.

It may be recalled that when Jagan came to power in 2019 all those who were in key posts during Chandrababu’s regime were thrown aside. Starting from the SPs and Collectors at the district level to the secretaries and chief secretaries at the state level, no one has been left behind. In the end Jagan sidelined those who acted neutrally and worked methodically.

They put the seal of ‘They are all TDP’ and pushed them into unimportant posts. Those officers were threatened. In a way, for five years, all these officers experienced deep emotional distress. Now the government has changed. Chandrababu became the Chief Minister. But distress continues among such officials even now.

During the election campaign, Chandrababu has warned officials, who had identified themselves with CM Jagan and harassed TDP leaders stating that ‘We will solve the account of false officials’. Nara Lokesh’s rage before the election by saying ‘Red Book’ is understandable.

During Jagan’s regime, many officers wore the ‘blue’ color and acted as if ‘YCP said the Vedas’. Their involvement in large scale corruption and massive irregularities in administration became much talked about during the poll campaign.

But  after coming to power, all the words of Chandrababu and Lokesh were drowned in the ‘victory chorus’. Nothing has happened except that a handful of officials were kept aside without giving postings.

During Jagan’s regime, the officials who worked under intense pressure and acted neutrally, now unable even to get an appointment with the Chief Minister to represent their agony. Officials present at Chief Minister’s Office said to be creating a gulf between CM and such officials.

Most of the officials at CMO are said to be closely associated with Jagan’s regime. A senior TDP leader suspected that some hidden force was influencing Chandrababu’s administration.
