BRS slams None of BJP, Congress MPs sought Budget Allocations!

As the Budget session of the Parliament begins on Monday, leaders of both the main parties in Andhra Pradesh- TDP and YCP met their MPs and briefed them on the issues related to their state to be focused in the Parliament. Both Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jaganmohan Reddy asked them to raise issues of important to the state and also persuade concerned union ministers on pending issues.

But, ironically, no such meeting was held by both Congress and BJP with Telangana MPs, so that to focus their attention on the issues related to the state. Moreover, not a single MP from Telangana put forward any proposal before the union finance minister on any issue of the state to be included in the forthcoming union budget.

Former Bharat Rashtra Samithi MP B Vinod Kumar lamented the BJP and Congress MPs from Telangana for their lack of action in advocating for the state’s key projects to the Central government. He pointed out that despite both parties securing eight MP seats each, none of them had submitted any requests for budget allocations to the Centre in the past 15 days.

With the budget session of Parliament scheduled to begin on Monday, Vinod Kumar urged Union Ministers from Telangana G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, along with the BJP MPs to push for national status for Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, railway coach factory at Kazipet, steel plant at Bayyaram, and funds for backward districts and Navodaya Vidyalayas in every district of Telangana. He also called on the Congress MPs to advocate for these crucial projects.

He reminded MPs of these two national parties that this year budget lays the foundation for the next five years of Narendra Modi administration. Uunderscoring the importance of the upcoming budget session scheduled to begin on Monday, Vinod Kumar noted that the Modi government has largely ignored the issues enshrined in the Andhra Pradesh Bifurcation Act over the past decade.

Additionally, he highlighted that the Union government is expected to allocate substantial funds to Andhra Pradesh due to the critical support provided by the TDP at the Centre. He also called on the eight Congress MPs to exert pressure on the Centre to secure the necessary funds and projects for Telangana.

Six More charges Against Endowment Asst. Commissioner Shanti

Six more charges have been registered against Shanti, the assistant commissioner of the Endowment department, who has already been suspended from her job on various charges. The six new charges related to violations committed during her tenure as Assistant Commissioner in the joint Visakhapatnam district.

Commissioner Satyanarayana said that when she joined the Department in 2020, her husband’s name was registered as K. Madanmohan in the Service Register, and when she applied for maternity leave also on January 25 last year, the husband’s name was also mentioned as Madanmohan.

But in a press conference she held on the 17th of this month, the first charge was that she had said that she had married a man named P. Subhash and that it was against the code of conduct of the employees to get married for the second time without getting a divorce. The second charge was made that she had damaged the reputation of the Department  by her behavior.

Another charge was registered for speaking at a press conference without permission of the commissioner. Satyanarayana stated she had tweeted about MP Vijaya Sai Reddy on May 28 last year, saying he was the backbone of the party, and this indicates her association with that party. As a government employee, this is against the rules, the charge said.

She was asked for an explanation for her rude behaviour with someone from another part of the apartment, while she was residing in Visakhapatnam. Even though Shanti does not have the authority to renew the leases of shops and lands of Anakapalli, Chodavaram, Payakaraopeta and Dharapuram Temples for 11 years instead of 3 years, she had sent proposals to the Commissioner.

She was asked to give her explanation to all these charges within 15 days. Moreover, the department constituted a three-member committee to probe into her violations as assistant commissioner in Visakha, Anakapalli and NTR districts, besides giving lands and shops on lease and issuing of NOCs to alienate temple lands.

Amit Shah slams Uddhav sA Leader of Aurangzeb Fan club

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday took potshots at the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance in Maharashtra, calling it an ‘Aurangzeb fan club’ and terming Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray as the club leader.

Addressing a BJP conclave in Pune, Shah accused the Congress of spreading “misconceptions” about reservation and blamed NCP (SP) leader Sharad Pawar for “institutionalising” corruption in the country. Now this won’t work, he asserted.

“Maha Vikas Aghadi is Aurangzeb fan club. This Aurangzeb fan club cannot ensure India’s security. Uddhav Thackeray is the leader of this Aurangzeb Fan club. This Fan Club cannot make Maharashtra and India safe,” Shah said, adding that only the BJP can ensure the safety and security of all.

Sharpening his attack on Thackeray, Shah said the Sena leader had sat with people who sought pardon for 1993 Mumbai serial blasts convict Yakub Memon.

“Who is the Aurangzeb fan club? Those who serve biryani to (26/11 terror attack convict) Kasab, those who seek pardon for Yakub Memon, those who give (controversial Islamic preacher) Zakir Naik a messenger of peace award and those who support the (banned Islamist outfit) PFI. Uddhav Thackeray should be ashamed of sitting with these people,” said the home minister.

He said, “The biggest chief of corruption is Sharad Pawar. If there is anyone who has institutionalised corruption in this country, it is Sharad Pawar”.

Targeting Pawar for spreading lies, Shah accused him of exploiting the Maratha reservation issue for his political gains. He said, “Sharad Pawar is preparing new illusions now. Whenever the BJP government comes to power, the issue of the Maratha reservation surfaces and whenever the Sharad Pawar government comes, the Maratha reservation issue disappears.”

Meanwhile, he took a jibe at Congress MP and LoP in Lok Sabha  Rahul Gandhi over his ‘khata-khat’ remarks from the election campaign. He said that the Congress party is ruling various states including Telangana and Himachal Pradesh, why Rahul Gandhi is not giving ‘khata-khat’ money to the people. Sarcastically, he called upon the women in Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh to increase their demand for the ‘khata-khat’ money into their account.

 Bengaluru IT Companies Propose 14-Hour Workdays; Andhra Pradesh BJP Chief Daggubati Purandeswari Condemns

Bengaluru IT companies have reportedly proposed to the Karnataka government to allow their employees to work 14 hours a day. Andhra Pradesh BJP chief and Rajahmundry MP Daggubati Purandeswari has strongly condemned this proposal.

“It is inhuman for IT companies to suggest implementing a 14-hour workday, which includes 12 hours of normal work and two hours of extra work,” Purandeswari stated. She believes that this proposal would jeopardize the health of IT employees.

Purandeswari also highlighted that the new working hours would necessitate a two-shift policy, resulting in job losses for one-third of the workforce, thereby increasing unemployment. She further expressed concern that the extended working hours would disturb the balance between job and personal life, leading to employee burnout and reduced productivity.

In a tweet, Purandeswari urged the Karnataka State Government to reject this proposal, emphasizing the need to create a just and humane working environment.

Home Minister Anita challenges Jagan For A debate on Law And Order

AP Home Minister Anita Vangalapudi has challenged former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who announced a dharna at Delhi alleging failure of law and order in the state, for a debate on it with her. She said as Jagan is going to Delhi, she is also ready to go there to discuss with him.

She asked Jagan from where the debate started? Whether from the killing of his uncle? Whether law and order scenario in the state during the last five years? Or last one month TDP governance?

She lamented that Pulivendula MLA Jagan has resorted to ‘diversion politics’ fearing that if he attends assembly he would be exposed. She said that the government will present a white paper on law and order situation in the state in the Assembly on July 24. She challenged Jagan, if he is courageous enough, let him attend the assembly and participate in the discussion.

If Jagan is particular about visiting Delhi, she said that he can go there even after the assembly session. She deplored that the people of Andhra Pradesh are feeling shameful with the attitude of the YCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy.

Referring to Jagan’s allegation that as many as 36 political murders took place after TDP came to power, the Home Minister demanded that the former chief minister reveal details of those murders. Alleging that he is trying to create confusion among people with false information, she asked why not the government take action for such a mischievous attitude?

Anita said after the formation of TDP government in the state four political murders were reported, of which three persons killed were from TDP. Stating that she is ready to give details including crime numbers, she asked can Jagan deny facts?

The Home Minister alleged that Jagan’s Vinukonda visit has exposed to the people something going wrong with his mind. She alleged that people confined his party to 11 MLA seats only due to implementation of Raja Reddy’s constitution, keeping abayance of Ambedkar’s constitution. Credit goes to him for introducing the ‘culture of poison’ in the state, she added.

Anita recalled that wherever law and order problem arises immediately chief minister Chandrababu Naidu conducts a review and alerts the police. She asked whether Jagan conducted any review on law and order in the state during five years of his term as chief minister?

She recalled that national reports revealed that crimes against women and girls have doubled during Jagan’s regime in the state.

Jana Sena General Secretary K. Nagababu was furious over former Chief Minister and YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s demand  to impose President’s rule in the state. He ridiculed that President’s rule should have been imposed in the state only when Praja Vedika was demolished during Jagan Reddy’s rule.

He alleged that  Jagan’s proposed dharna in Delhi was only a plea to avoid attending Assembly sessions, as he has no courage to face facts being presented by the alliance government on his anarchy regime.

He asked Jagan to stop doing `politics of dead bodies’ on Rashid’s murder in Vinukonda. Nagababu said that if YSRCP won in 2019, they would have harassed the people, and now they are criticizing the NDA coalition government two months before it was formed.

He alleged that the worst rule in the history of the country happened during Jagan’s regime. He questioned why Jagan did not respond to the incidents of the Dalit driver Subrahmanyam’s murder, Dr. Sudhakar’s maddened beating on the road, and the shooting of a 10th class student by pouring petrol on him.

Naga Babu said that Jagan attempted to loot people’s property through the Land Titling Act, but people were saved after his defeat in the elections and the NDA government scrapped the dangerous act.

Meanwhile, former minister and Rayadurgam MLA Kalava Srinivasulu has criticized that Jagan’s madness has reached its peak due to the shock given by the people in the election.  If Jagan Reddy does not change his ways, he predicted that he will surely lose in Pulivendula also in the upcoming elections.

Revenue Minister Agani Satyaprasad criticized Jagan Reddy, who has turned the state into a crime scene for five years with crimes and atrocities, saying that it is ironic that Jagan Reddy is talking about President’s rule today.

He said that Jagan, who has pledged the interests of the state, has lost his moral right to go to Delhi. Before holding a dharna in Delhi, he said that people would be happy if Jagan fell on the feet of his anarchist regime and apologized in every galli of Andhra.

 CM Revanth Reddy To Visit Delhi Today To Meet AICC Leaders

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to visit Delhi today. After paying respects to Goddess Mahankali in the morning, he will depart for Delhi in the afternoon. He has a scheduled meeting with senior AICC leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday night or Monday.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has initiated the implementation of a Rs 2 lakh loan waiver for farmers, a promise made by Rahul Gandhi during the elections. To celebrate this initiative, Revanth plans to organize a massive public meeting in Warangal and will extend an invitation to Rahul Gandhi for the event. The date of the public meeting will depend on Rahul Gandhi’s availability, as the budget sessions of both the parliament and assembly are scheduled concurrently.

During his Delhi visit, Revanth is also expected to meet other Congress leaders to discuss cabinet expansion and the appointment of nominated posts. Additionally, he will meet with several union ministers to seek funds for development projects in Telangana, according to government sources.

The budget session of Telangana will commence on the 23rd of this month, with the assembly set to convene at 11 am on Tuesday. The Governor has already issued a notification regarding this. On the first day of the session, a condolence ceremony will be held to honor the late MLA Lasya Nandita, followed by the presentation of the full-fledged budget for the financial year 2024-25. Sources indicate that a budget of Rs 2.90 lakh crore has been prepared, covering all schemes including the loan waiver and six guarantees.
