Soon after his oath taking Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visiting Tirumala hills said that his cleaning of governance will start from here only. Accordingly, the government has initiated efforts to improve the pilgrim-friendly environment. These are main changes brought out during last six weeks making it more seamless, efficient, and spiritually fulfilling experience for all devotees

1. Establish Pilgrim Facilitation Centers (PFCs) at strategic locations within and around the temple complex for comprehensive assistance.

2. Equip PFCs with multilingual staff* to aid with accommodation, darshan, and Laddu distribution.

3. Implement a centralized booking and inquiry system* at PFCs for streamlined services.

4. Develop an integrated online and mobile darshan booking system allowing advance reservations and real-time updates.

5. Introduce a robust queue management system  with digital displays and mobile app integration for live tracking.

6. Establish dedicated queues  for elderly, differently-abled, and time-constrained pilgrims, and offer a “Fast-Track Darshan” option.

7. Enhance the online booking system for TTD accommodations with real-time updates and digital payment options.

8. Partnership with local hotels and home-stays for expanded accommodation choices and ensure adherence to quality standards.

9. Enhance shuttle services and install well-marked signage for better navigation within the temple complex.

10. Introduce facial recognition technology for secure authentication and integrate it with TTD’s digital platforms.

11. Develop a comprehensive mobile app with features for real-time updates, digital payments, and contactless services.

12. Implement digital payment methods and contactless services across all points of sale within the temple complex.

13. Provide additional seating and resting areas around the temple complex for waiting pilgrims.

14. Introducing a system for pre-ordering Laddus and prasads for pickup through the mobile app.

15. Set up a 24/7 helpline and establish dedicated counters for special services and ticket distribution at PFCs.

16. Enhance the quality of Annaprasadam through regular feedback mechanisms and quality checks.

17. Develop an integrated ticketing system for darshan, accommodations, and special events.

18. Offering guided tours and virtual assistance through the mobile app for first-time visitors and general information.

YS Jagan Approaches High Court For Leader of Opposition status

Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is making desperate attempts to get the status of leader of the opposition ‘like a tyrant who does not give up’. After his letter to Assembly Speaker Ch Ayyanna Patrudu seeking such a status failed to get any positive response, he has now approached the High Court for the status of Leader of Opposition. 

In the petition, Jagan stated that he wanted to order the Speaker to accord him the status of Leader of the Opposition. Jagan wrote a letter on June 25 to Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu. He appealed to recognize YSRCP as the main opposition in the assembly.

The letter said that it was decided in advance not to give the identity of the main opposition leader as it was against the traditions to take oath with me after the ministers. He said that the law defines that whoever has the most seats in the opposition should be given the status of the main opposition, and there is nowhere in the law that 10 percent seats should be given to the status of the main opposition.

He alleged that this provision was not followed neither in the Parliament nor in the united Andhra Pradesh. He said that the ruling coalition and the Speaker are already showing hostility towards him. He said that the words spoken by the Speaker to be beaten till death were revealed through the videos, and in such a context, there is no such thing as raising voice in the assembly.

He said that there will be an opportunity to voice the public’s problems strongly with the recognition as the main opposition party in the Assembly.

Meanwhile, Finance and Legislative Affairs Minister Payyavula Keshav said that Jagan is not the leader of the opposition but only the floor leader of the opposition party. He clarified that there is no possibility of giving opposition status to Jagan as per the current rules and procedures.

He commented that it will take him ten years to get that status. KCR, who is close to Jagan, also reminded that Congress was not given opposition status in the past in Telangana assembly. Payyavula expressed anger that Jagan tried to threaten the Speaker by writing a letter.

He advised Jagan to read the Kaul and Shakdher book and the Assembly rule book, which contain the legislative and parliamentary rules, not just the alcohol and sand account books.

కేంద్ర బడ్జెట్లో తెలంగాణకు సరైన కేటాయింపులు జరగలేదని ఆ రాష్ట్ర నాయకత్వం భావిస్తే గనుక అంతవరకు ఢిల్లీ సర్కారు తీరు మీద విమర్శలు చేయడంలో తప్పులేదు. తెలంగాణకు కేంద్ర బడ్జెట్ ద్వారా ఏం కావాలని వారు కోరుకుంటున్నారో.. ఏం కావాలని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి వారు నివేదించారో.. వాటిని పట్టించుకోకుండా బడ్జెట్ కేటాయింపులు జరిగి ఉంటే గనుక అవన్నీ ప్రస్తావించి విలపిస్తే ఇంకా బాగుంటుంది. అదేమీ లేకుండా అర్థం పర్థం లేని రీతిలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కు చాలా కేటాయింపులు చేసేసారు అని విలపించడం సరైన పద్ధతి కాదు! విభజన చట్టం ద్వారా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కు దక్కవలసిన కేటాయింపులను కేంద్రం 10 ఏళ్ల పాటు పట్టించుకోకుండా ఇప్పుడు కేటాయించింది అనే సంగతిని తెలంగాణ సర్కారు గుర్తించాలి. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్రాన్ని నిందించడానికి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కు కేటాయింపులు జరిగిన తీరును వాడుకోవడం చాలా అసంబద్ధంగా ఉన్నదని ప్రజలు విమర్శిస్తున్నారు.

కేంద్రంలో ఉన్నది ‘నాయుడు నితీష్ డిపెండెంట్ ప్రభుత్వం’ అని ఎన్డీఏ అనే పదానికి ఒక సరికొత్త నిర్వచనం చెప్పాలని రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అత్యుత్సాహం చూపించవచ్చు గాక! కానీ ఇలాంటి పడికట్టు మాటల వలన ఉపయోగం తక్కువ. నిర్దిష్టంగా కేంద్ర బడ్జెట్‌పై విమర్శలు చేయడం అంటే విభజన చట్టంలో తమకు జరగాల్సిన న్యాయం గురించి రేవంత్ ఏయే అంశాలను కేంద్రం వద్ద ప్రతిపాదించారో, వాటిని మీడియా ముందు పెట్టాలి. తాము ఎన్ని విజ్ఞప్తులు అడిగినప్పటికీ ఏది పట్టించుకోలేదని ఆ రకంగా కేంద్రం వంచించిందని ఆరోపిస్తే పరవాలేదు. అంతేతప్ప పొరుగురాష్ట్రానికి ఇచ్చేశారని ఏడుస్తూ అందువలన కేంద్రం తనకు అన్యాయం చేసినట్టుగా మాట్లాడడం పూర్తిగా తప్పు అని పలువురు భావిస్తున్నారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, బీహార్ రెండు కూడా వెనుకబడి ఉన్న రాష్ట్రాలు అనే విషయంలో రేవంత్ రెడ్డికి ఏమైనా అనుమానాలు ఉన్నాయా? ఆ రాష్ట్రాల వెనుకబాటుతనాన్ని ఆయన గుర్తించలేకపోతున్నారా? విభజన తర్వాతి పరిస్థితులలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ఎంతటి అనాధగా దుర్భరమైన పరిస్థితుల్లో ఏర్పడినదో రేవంత్ రెడ్డికి తెలియదా? ఆత్మసాక్షిని చంపుకొని ఇలాంటి అబద్ధపు నిందలు వేయడం ఎందుకు అని అందరూ అడుగుతున్నారు.

ప్రత్యేకంగా తెలంగాణ అనే పేరును ప్రస్తావించకపోయినంత మాత్రాన ఆ రాష్ట్రానికి దక్కే కేంద్ర కేటాయింపులు లేకుండా పోవు కదా అనేది కూడా కొందరి వాదన. కేవలం తాము ప్రతిపక్ష కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి చెందిన వారం గనుక బిజెపి ఏ బడ్జెట్ ప్రవేశపెట్టినా సరే దానిని నిందించి తీరడం తమ బాధ్యత అనుకుంటున్నట్లుంది. ఇలాంటి అర్థంపర్థం లేని మాటలను తగ్గించి నిర్మాణాత్మక విమర్శలు చేస్తే అందరికీ మేలుగా ఉంటుందని అభిప్రాయాలు ప్రజలలో వ్యక్తం అవుతున్నాయి.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు శాసనసభలో ఒక విషయం వెల్లడించారు. దాన్ని గూఢార్థం ప్రకారం జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి సోదరుడు, ఆత్మీయుడు, పులివెందుల నియోజకవర్గ రాజకీయాలకు సంబంధించిన వరకు ఆయనకు అన్నీ తానై వ్యవహరించే కడప ఎంపీ అవినాష్ రెడ్డికి ప్రమాదఘంటికలు మోగినట్లేనా అని పలువురు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. ‘హూ కిల్డ్ బాబాయ్’ అనే ఐదేళ్ల నుంచి వినిపించే ప్రశ్నకు త్వరలోనే జవాబు వస్తుందని చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ప్రకటించడం ఇప్పుడు రాష్ట్ర రాజకీయ వర్గాలలో సంచలనం అవుతోంది. చంద్రబాబు పాలనలో వివేకానంద రెడ్డి హత్య కేసును త్వరలోనే ముగిస్తారని అవినాష్ రెడ్డిని పాత్ర బయటకు వస్తుందని అంటున్నారు.

వివేకానంద రెడ్డి హత్య జరిగిన నాటి నుంచి ఈ కేసు ఎన్ని రకాల మలుపులు తిరుగుతున్నదో అందరికీ తెలుసు. సాక్షాత్తు ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి అప్పుడు ప్రతిపక్ష నాయకుడిగా ఉంటూ సిబిఐ విచారణను కోరినప్పటికీ, అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత పదేపదే కేసును పక్కదారి పట్టించే మాటలు మాట్లాడారు. వివేకాను కూతురు సునీత హత్య చేయించినట్లు అర్థం వచ్చేలా- అనేకమార్లు జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ఆరోపణలు చేశారు. హత్య చేసిన వారు చేయించిన వారు అంతా క్షేమంగా బయట తిరుగుతున్నారంటూ చెల్లెలును ఉద్దేశించి జగన్ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేయడాన్ని గమనించాలి. అలాగే ‘అవినాష్ రెడ్డి అమాయకుడు, అనవసరంగా ఈ హత్య కేసును రుద్దుతున్నారు’ అని ఎన్నిసార్లు జగన్ కితాబు ఇచ్చారో లెక్కేలేదు.

సిబిఐ విచారణలో అనేక ఆధారాలు అవినాష్ పాత్రను నిర్ధారిస్తున్నప్పటికీ జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి మాత్రం ఆయనకు మద్దతుగా అండగా నిలబడడం గమనించాలి. ప్రత్యేకించి ఎన్నికల సమయంలో జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి పాత్ర కూడా ఉందనిపించేలాగా ఆయన చెల్లెళ్లు వైఎస్ షర్మిల, సునీత ఇద్దరూ తీవ్రమైన పోరాటమే సాగించారు. వారికి ఎన్నికలలో పెద్దగా లాభించలేదు గాని, వివేకా హత్య వెనుక సామాన్య ప్రజలలో కూడా అనుమానాలు బలపడ్డాయి.
ఎన్నికలు ముగిసిన నాటి నుంచి కడప ఎంపీ స్థానానికి ఉపఎన్నిక వస్తుందనే సంగతిని పలువురు నాయకులు పలు విధాలుగా సంకేతాలు ఇస్తున్నారు. అంటే అవినాష్ రెడ్డి అరెస్టు అయి జైలుకు వెళ్తారని ఉప ఎన్నిక వస్తుందని, ఆ ఉద్దేశంతో మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం ‘హూ కిల్డ్ బాబాయ్’ అనేది త్వరలో తెలుస్తుందంటూ చంద్రబాబు కూడా అవినాష్ రెడ్డి అరెస్ట్ కు సంబంధించిన సంకేతాలే ఇస్తున్నారని అందరూ భావిస్తున్నారు.

On Wednesday morning, MPs from the opposition ‘India’ alliance will stage a protest in Parliament against the Union Budget. Opposition leaders have accused the Union Budget of being crafted unilaterally, disregarding states governed by non-BJP parties. 

A meeting of India alliance leaders took place on Tuesday evening at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal criticized the budget, stating that it undermines the concept of a national budget. “The NDA government has shown discrimination towards several states, prompting our discussion at Kharge’s residence,” he said.

Congress MP Pramod Tiwari echoed this sentiment, declaring, “This is not a national budget but a BJP budget.” He confirmed that the alliance will protest in Parliament on Wednesday against what they term the ‘BJP Budget.’

The meeting was attended by Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, and Sanjay Raut, among other key figures.

YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy has addressed the Union Budget allocations for Andhra Pradesh, criticizing the state’s response and the nature of the funds. Vijayasai Reddy claimed that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which expressed satisfaction with the ₹15,000 crore allocated to AP, has squandered a valuable opportunity. He explained that the ₹15,000 crore announced will effectively be provided as loans, not direct funds.

In contrast, Vijayasai Reddy pointed out that Bihar received ₹26,000 crore in allocations, emphasizing the difference between actual allocation and adjustment. He attributed this discrepancy to the Telugu Desam Party’s lack of foresight.

Vijayasai Reddy also criticized the TDP’s response, stating, “Jagan’s vision was for the Centre to rely on AP MPs for support. However, Alliance MPs have missed this chance, which is a significant disappointment. Despite a requirement of ₹1.5 lakh crore for Amaravati’s construction, the Centre has allocated almost nothing, and the TDP has accepted this. The TDP’s support for the BJP has led to the Centre providing protection to its leaders from trials related to the AP Fibernet scam, AP CRDA scam, and ring road scam. The people of AP are paying the price for this political adjustment.”

Vijayasai Reddy further questioned the TDP’s gratitude towards the Centre, arguing that the budgetary provisions are merely in line with the State Reorganisation Act and not additional allocations.
