TDP leader Buddha Venkanna has sharply criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging that he has lost his composure since losing power. Speaking to the media on Sunday, Venkanna remarked that Jagan’s behavior and statements have become increasingly irrational. 

Venkanna accused Jagan of misusing public funds during his tenure and suggested that his current actions reflect a state of madness following his loss of power. He further claimed that Jagan had insulted Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, asserting that the Chief Minister’s attempt to honor Ambedkar by erecting a statue and naming it after him was insincere. 

According to Venkanna, Jagan has belittled Ambedkar’s legacy by allegedly painting Ambedkar’s statues with the colors of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP). He also accused Jagan of failing to support Dalit families affected by violence, questioning whether he visited the victims’ families while in office.

 Revenue Conferences To Be Held In Andhra Pradesh Villages From August 15 To 30

Andhra Pradesh will host Revenue Conferences across its villages from August 15 to 30, as announced by Minister Anagani Satyaprasad on X (formerly Twitter). The minister stated that the conferences would be ceremoniously inaugurated on the 15th, with every village participating in the event. In larger revenue villages, the conferences will last the entire day, while in smaller villages, they will be held for half a day.

During these conferences, officials will accept petitions on various revenue-related issues, including land encroachments and disputes involving Section 22A lands. Each village will see the presence of a Tehsildar along with seven other officials, who will gather petitions from the public. The minister assured that every petition would be processed online, thoroughly investigated, and resolved appropriately.

Given the significant number of complaints about land encroachments received daily at the TDP central office’s Praja Darbar, it is anticipated that these issues will dominate the upcoming Revenue Conferences. TDP leaders have noted that most complaints received at the party office pertain to land encroachments that occurred during the YSRCP’s tenure.

AP Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha Narrowly Escapes Convoy Accident

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha narrowly avoided an accident while traveling in her convoy. The incident occurred in Kaikaram, Unguturu Mandal of Eluru district, as the convoy was en route to Alampuram in West Godavari district from Vijayawada.

According to reports, the accident was triggered when the driver of the escort vehicle abruptly applied the brakes to avoid a collision with a motorcycle. This sudden stop caused the minister’s car, which was following closely behind, to rear-end the escort vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage in the collision.

Officials confirmed that no one in the minister’s car, including Anitha herself, was injured. Following the incident, Minister Anitha continued her journey to Alampuram in another vehicle.

జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డికి ఉన్న ‘గుర్తింపు సమస్య’ అనేది ఒక  మానసికమైన బలహీనత. తాను చేసిందేమీ లేకపోయినా.. తన పేరు, తన బొమ్మ చిరస్థాయిగా ఉండిపోవాలని ఆయన అనుకుంటారు. అలా కోరుకునే వ్యక్తి తన సొంత డబ్బుతో నలుగురికి ఇళ్లు నిర్మించి ఇచ్చి వాటి మీద తన బొమ్మను వేయించుకుంటే ఒక రకంగా ఉంటుంది. అలా కాకుండా.. ప్రజలు తాతలకాలంనుంచి వస్తున్న ఆస్తుల చుట్టూ సరిహద్దు రాళ్లు రాటి వాటి మీద తన బొమ్మ వేయించుకోవాలని ఆశపడే వైఖరి జగన్ ది. వారి తాతల కాలం నాటి ఆస్తులకు పట్టాలు ఇస్తూ వాటిమీద తన బొమ్మ వేయించుకునే తీరు ఆయనది. అలాంటి జగన్ పేరు పిచ్చికి..  విజయవాడలో కొందరు సరైన రీతిలోనే బుద్ధి చెప్పారు. అయితే.. అదేదో అంబేద్కర్ మీద దాడి జరిగినట్టుగా మసిపూసి మారేడు కాయచేసి రాజకీయంగా లబ్ధి పొందడానికి జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి అనుచిత మార్గాలను అనుసరిస్తుండడమే ఇప్పుడు తమాషా.

విజయవాడలో జగన్ సర్కారు నిర్మించిన అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహం వద్ద శిలాఫలకంపై జగన్ పేరును కొందరు వ్యక్తులు ధ్వంసం చేశారు. అంబేద్కర్ లాంటి మహనీయుడి వద్ద అదేదో జగన్ దయ అన్నట్టు ఆయన పేరు ఎందుకనే కోపంతో అంబేద్కర్ అభిమానులు ఎవరైనా ఆ  పనిచేసి ఉండొచ్చు. విద్యాదీవెన వంటి పథకానికి అంబేద్కర్ పేరు తొలగించి తన పేరు పెట్టుకున్న జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి వైఖరితో విసిగి ఆగ్రహించి.. అలాంటి జగన్ పేరు అంబేద్కర్ వద్ద ఉండతగదని ఎవరైనా అలా చేసి ఉండొచ్చు.

కానీ ఈ అంశాన్ని రాజకీయ లబ్ధి కోసం జగన్ వాడుతున్నారు. అంబేద్కర్ మీద చంద్రబాబునాయుడు దాడి చేయించారంటూ నానా రాద్ధాంతం చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ ఘటనలో అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహానికి కించిత్తు హాని జరగలేదు. పైగా తాను అధికారంలో ఉండగా.. ప్రతి ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయం వద్ద బయట ఏర్పాటు చేసిన బోర్డులపై కూడా జగన్ తన బొమ్మలు వేయించుకున్నారు. ఆఫీసులో సీఎం ఫోటో సహజం. కానీ బయట బోర్డుల్లో కూడా తన బొమ్మ పెట్టుకుని, వాటిని తొలగిస్తే.. ప్రభుత్వ ఆస్తుల ధ్వంసం అంటూ కారుకూతలు కూశారు. అదే క్రమంలో ఇప్పుడు శిలాఫలకంపై తన పేరును ధ్వంసం చేస్తే.. అంబేద్కర్ వంటి మహనీయుడిపై దాడి అంటూ అర్థం పర్థం లేకుండా నానా మాటలు మాట్లాడుతున్నారని  ప్రజలు ఎద్దేవా చేస్తున్నారు.

అమరావతి రాజధాని నిర్మాణానికి అన్నీ శుభశకునాలే కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. అమరావతి నగర నిర్మాణానికి రుణాలు అందించేందుకు ప్రపంచబ్యాంకు కూడా పూనిక వహిస్తోంది. గతంలో చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా ఉండగా, నగర నిర్మాణానికి ప్రపంచబ్యాంకు రుణం కోసం చేసిన ప్రయత్నం ఇప్పుడు మళ్లీ ట్రాక్ మీదకు వచ్చింది. తాను ముఖ్యమంత్రి కాగానే.. అమరావతి కోసం ప్రపంచ బ్యాంకు రుణం తమకు వద్దని ప్రత్యేకంగా కేంద్రానికి లేఖ రాసి మరీ మోకాలడ్డిన జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి కుట్రలు భంగమైనట్టే. ఇప్పుడు ప్రపంచబ్యాంకు ప్రతినిధులు, అమరావతికి వచ్చి సీఆర్డీయే అధికార్లతో కలిసి నిర్మాణంలో ఉన్న భవనాలను పరిశీలించారు. తిరిగి రుణం మంజూరుకు ప్రయత్నాలు ప్రారంభం అయ్యాయి.

మొత్తానికి అమరావతి నగర నిర్మాణం శరవేగంగా సాగడానికి ప్రయత్నాలు ప్రారంభం అయినట్టే. ఇప్పటికే 15వేల కోట్లరూపాయల నిధులు సర్దుబాటు చేయడానికి కేంద్రం బడ్జెట్ లో ఆమోదం తెలిపిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. చంద్రబాబు గతంలో సీఎంగా ఉన్న రోజుల్లోనే నగర నిర్మాణానికి ఏఐఐబీతో కలిసి 3500 కోట్ల రూపాయల రుణం ఇచ్చేందుకు ప్రపంచ బ్యాంకు ముందుకు వచ్చింది. ఆ నిధులు వచ్చి ఉంటే రాజధానిలో అనేక నిర్మాణాలు చేపట్టి ఉండొచ్చు. ఆతర్వాత అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన జగన్.. తమకు రుణం వద్దంటూ తిరస్కరించారు. ఇప్పుడు ఎన్డీయే సర్కారు అమరావతికి అగ్రస్థానం ఇస్తుండడంతో.. మళ్లీ ప్రపంచబ్యాంకు రుణం తెరపైకి వచ్చింది. ఆ బృందం సీఆర్డీయే అధికార్లతో కలిసి అమరావతిలో జరుగుతున్న నిర్మాణాలు అన్నింటినీ పరిశీలించారు. ఐఏఎస్ క్వార్టర్లు, జడ్జిల  భవనాలు, ఇతర నిర్మాణాలను పరిశీలించారు. తాగునీటి సరఫరా ప్రణాళిక వివరాలు కూడా తెలుసుకున్నారు. ఈ రుణం కూడా వచ్చినట్లయితే.. రాబోయే కొద్దినెలల్లో రాజధాని నిర్మాణాలు వేగం పుంజుకునే అవకాశం ఉంది.

మొత్తానికి రాబోయే అయిదేళ్ల చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వ కాలంలో అమరావతి ప్రాంత రూపురేఖలు సమూలంగా మారిపోతాయని.. రాజధాని అద్భుత నగరంగా ఒక దశవరకు చేరుకుంటుందని పలువురు ఆశావహ దృక్పథంతో ఉన్నారు.

ఉత్తరాంధ్ర ఎమ్మెల్సీ ఎన్నిక వ్యవహారం రసవత్తరంగా మారుతోంది. తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ బరిలోకి అభ్యర్థిని దింపుతుందా లేదా? అనేది సందేహంగా ఉంది. చంద్రబాబు ఈ విషయంలో పునరాలోచన చేస్తున్నారు. పోటీపెట్టాలని తొలుత అనుకున్నప్పటికీ.. కేవలం వైసీపీ నుంచి పడగల క్రాస్ ఓటింగ్ మీద  ఆధారపడాల్సి రావడంతో  చేద్దామా?

వద్దా? అనే ఆలోచనలో పడ్డారు. అయితే చంద్రబాబు పునరాలోచన నేపథ్యంలో.. తెలుగుదేశం పోటీగురించి వైసీపీకి చెందిన స్థానిక సంస్థల ప్రజాప్రతినిధుల్లోనే ఎక్కువ ఆందోళన కనిపిస్తోంది. తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ పోటీచేస్తేనే బాగుంటుందని వారు కోరుకుంటున్నారు.

వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ చాలా ముందుగానే జాగ్రత్త పడింది ఉత్తరాంధ్ర జిల్లాలకు చెందిన స్థానిక సంస్థల ప్రతినిధుల్ని కుటుంబాలతో సహా బెంగుళూరుకు తరలించారు. వారికి మధ్యలో తాడేపల్లిలో జగన్ తో  ఒక చిన్న భేటీ ఏర్పాటు చేయించి మరీ.. బెంగుళూరు శిబిరాలకు తరలించారు. కుటుంబాల సహా వారిని విహారయాత్రల్లో ఉంచినట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది. సరిగ్గా ఈ పాయింట్ దగ్గరే వైసీపీకి చెందిన ఓటర్లలో తెలుగుదేశం పోటీచేయాలనే కోరిక వ్యక్తమవుతోంది.

తెలుగుదేశం పోటీలో ఉంటే గనుక.. తమ కుటుంబసమేత విహార యాత్రలు పోలింగ్ జరిగే రోజు వరకు కొనసాగుతాయని.. తామందరినీ పోలింగ్ నాటికి తిరిగి వెనక్కు తీసుకువెళతారని వారు అంటున్నారు. అలా కాకుండా.. తెలుగుదేశం పోటీచేయకపోతే.. నామినేషన్ల గడువు ముగిసిన రోజునే తమ విహారయాత్రలు కూడా ముగిసిపోతాయని వారు  ఆందోళన చెందుతున్నారు. కుటుంబాలతో సహా సకల భోగాలతో కొన్ని ఎక్కువ రోజులు విహారాల్లో గడపాలంటే.. తెదేపా పోటీచేయాల్సిందే అంటున్నారు.

అదే తరహాలో.. ఆర్థిక ప్రయోజనాల గురించి కూడా వారిలో చర్చ నడుస్తోంది. బొత్స సత్యనారాయణ ఆర్థికంగా బలమైన  నాయకుడు గనుక.. తెలుగుదేశం రంగంలోకి పోటీ అంటూ ఉంటే.. ప్రతి ఓటరుకు లక్షల్లో డబ్బు ముట్టజెప్పడం జరుగుతుందని.. పోటీ అంటూ లేకపోతే.. తమకు నయాపైసా కూడా గిట్టుబాటు కాదని వారు అనుకుంటున్నారు. ఇలాంటి నేపథ్యంలో తెలుగుదేశం కూడా ఎమ్మెల్సీ ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీచేయాలని వారంతా కోరుకుంటున్నారు.

Chandrababu Alerts Ministers, officers After Tungabhadra Dam Gate washed Away

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has elected ministers and irrigation officials after the 19th gate of Tungabhadra Dam in Karnataka state was washed away when the gates were being closed, on Saturday night at 11 PM. For the past few days, the reservoir has been experiencing heavy flooding. The chain link broke and the dam gate was washed away.

Officials said that 40,000 cubic meters of water is being wasted from that gate. There is already a heavy flood in the river. This is the first time in the last 70 years that such a major incident related to dam safety has taken place. Officials have asked the people of the river basin in Kurnool- Mahabubnagar districts to be alert as a total of one lakh cusecs of water is flowing in the river.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu took issue with Ministers  Nimmala Ramanaidu and Payyavula Keshav. He directed Minister Keshav to talk to the officials of TB Dam and provide adequate cooperation on setting up a temporary gate. Keshav revealed that there were difficulties in setting up a temporary stop lock gate.

He said that due to the old design of TB Dam built in 1960, the stop lock gate could not be installed. Also, the CM talked to the Principal Secretary of the Irrigation Department and sought the details.

Minister Keshav said that as soon as the gate of Tungabhadra dam was washed away, the high officials of the state were alerted. Tungabhadra Dam is like the heart of Anantapur and Kurnool districts. Stating that lakhs of farmers have planted crops believing this, the authorities have requested to take immediate action so that the water does not go waste.

On the breaking of the 19th crust gate chain link of Tungabhadra Dam, Karnataka’s Koppal district in-charge minister Shivraj revealed that 35,000  cusecs of water is being released through the gate. He said that the repair of the gate is not possible at present.

He said that 65 TMC of water in the reservoir will have to be released and there is no alternative for the safety of the reservoir other than emptying about 65 TMC of water. At present, one lakh cusecs of water is being released from all the gates, he said. He said that unless 20 feet of water is emptied, the condition of the gate cannot be said.

In the wake of Chief Minister Chandrababu Babu beginning the exercise on filling up of nominated posts, there is fierce competition between four former MPs for the post of special representative of the state government in New Delhi.

Kambhampati Rammohana Rao, Galla Jayadev, Raghurama Krishna Raju and former union minister of state Sujana Chowdhury are hoping for that position. As this post provides cabinet rank and official status, they are expecting that would provide them easy access with the Narendra Modi government.

Among them, while Kambhampati held that position during the previous TDP regime, Sujana Choudhary is presently in BJP, though originally he was from TDP. Four of them claimed to have close contacts in Delhi to persuade the interests of the state government.

Both Galla Jayadev and Raghuramakrishnam Raju claimed that as `victims of YCP regime’ they should be given priority. Moreover, the YCP regime targeted Jayadev’s business and as a result he was forced to keep away from contests in recent Lok Sabha elections. Only after his reluctance, Guntur seat was offered to present  Union Minister of state Pemmasani Chandrasekhar. Otherwise, Jayadev would have a chance to join the union cabinet after electing as MP for a third time.

Raghurama Raju claimed that injustice was done to him avoiding his Narsapur Lok Sabha seat. Though elected to the Assembly, he was not inducted into the cabinet. Claiming that he played a crucial role in exposing Jaganmohan Reddy government’s anarchy, he is seeking a respectable position in New Delhi, in view of his vast connectivity with various sections in the National Capital.

Kambhampati claims that he has the experience of working as a special representative of the state government in Delhi, has relations with the leaders of the BJP and all other political parties, and that he is the most senior member of the party also.

Now it is interesting how Chandrababu Naidu chose his government’s special representative in New Delhi. According to sources, he is likely to choose one among Kambhampati or Jayadev, as both of them are more accessible for the party.
