ఇరుగు పొరుగు రాష్ట్రాలలో ముందునుంచి ఉన్నదే. కానీ.. ప్రజా సంక్షేమం అంటే వారికి అప్పుడప్పడుూ కాసిని డబ్బులు ఇచ్చేసి, వారిని ఓటు బ్యాంకు గా తయారు చేసుకోవడం మాత్రమే అని భావించిన గత ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి కంటికి కనిపించని పథకం ఇది. పేదల జీవితాల్లో, ప్రత్యేకించి మహిళల జీవితాల్లో గుణాత్మక మార్పునకు, స్వావలంబనకు, సాధికారతకు కారణం కాగల ఆలోచనల మీద ఆయనకు శ్రద్ధ లేదు. అందుకే ఆయన పొరుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఉన్నా కూడా దీని గురించి పట్టించుకోలేదు. కానీ.. పేదల జీవితాల్లోని మూలాల్లోనే వికాసం కనిపించాలని కోరుకునే దార్శనిక నాయకుడు చంద్రబాబునాయుడు.. తన ఎన్నికల మేనిఫెస్టోలో మహఇలలకు ఉచిత బస్సుప్రయాణం పథకాన్ని ప్రకటించారు. అది ఇవాళ్టి నుంచి అమలులోకి రాబోతోంది.
ఏపీఎస్ ఆర్టీసీ లో దాదాపు ఎనిమిదిన్నర వేల బస్సులలో మహిళలకు ఉచిత ప్రయాణం వర్తించేలా.. కూటమి సర్కారు స్త్రీశక్తి పథకాన్ని స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవం నాటినుంచి కార్యరూపంలోకి తెస్తోంది. తొలుత చంద్రబాబు ఎన్నికల మేనిఫెస్టోలో మహిళల సొంత జిల్లాకు మాత్రమే ఉచిత ప్రయాణం పరిమితం అని ప్రకటించినప్పటికీ.. సుదీర్ఘమైన కసరత్తు తర్వాత.. రాష్ట్రమంతా ఉచిత ప్రయాణాలు వర్తించేలా విధివిధానాలు రూపొందించారు.
ప్రధానంగా నిరు పేదలు, గ్రామీణ మహిళలు.. తమకు సమీపంలోని ఇతర ప్రాంతాలకు రోజూ వెళ్లివస్తూ నికరాదాయం గల ఉపాధి, ఉద్యోగ పనులు పొందడానికి, చిరు ఆదాయాలతో జీవితాల్ని మెరుగుపరచుకోవడానికి ఈ పథకాన్ని ఉద్దేశించారు. ఆ దిశగా మహిళా సాధికారతకు ఇది పునాది వేస్తుందని కూడా అనుకుంటున్నారు. అదే సమయంలో.. బస్సు ప్రయాణం ఉచితం కదా అని.. సంపన్న వర్గాల మహిళలంత సరదాగా విహారయాత్రలు లాంటి వాటి పేరుతో ప్రభుత్వం ఇచ్చే వెసులుబాటును వృథా చేయకుండా కొన్ని జాగ్రత్తలు కూడా తీసుకున్నారు. ఈ ఉచిత ప్రయాణాన్ని ఆర్డినరీ, మెట్రో ఎక్స్ ప్రెస్ లాంటి అయిదు రకాల బస్సులలో మాత్రమే అనుమతిస్తున్నారు. డీలక్స్, సూపర్ లగ్జరీ వంటి బస్సులలో ఉచితం వర్తించదు. కుప్పంనుంచి సింహాచలం వెళ్లాలనుకున్నా మహిళలకు ఉచితమే గానీ.. వారు కేవలం ఎక్స్ ప్రెస్ బస్సులను మాత్రమే ఆశ్రయించి వెళ్లాల్సి ఉంటుంది.
అయితే ప్రభుత్వం చేసే ప్రతి మంచి పని మీద కూడా విషం కక్కడానికి దిగజారుడు రాజకీయాలు చేస్తూ ఉండే వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ స్త్రీశక్తి పథకం మీద కూడా అదే పనిచేస్తోంది. డీలక్స్, సూపర్ లగ్జరీ బస్సుల్లో కూడా ఉచిత అవకాశం కల్పించడం లేదంటూ.. దుర్మార్గమైన ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారు. మహిళలలో అపోహలు కలిగిస్తున్నారు. ఒకజిల్లాకు మాత్రమే ఉచితం అని చెప్పిన చంద్రబాబు.. రాష్ట్రానికి మొత్తం వర్తించేలా పథకం అమలు చేయడమే చాలా గొప్ప అని మహిళలో మాత్రం హర్సాతిరేకాలు వ్యక్తం అవుతున్నాయి.

PM Modi Announces New GST Reforms By Diwali, To Reduce Tax on Daily-use Items
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation from Red Fort after hoisting the national flag on the occasion of Independence Day. During his speech, PM Modi spoke about India’s success during Operation Sindoor, farmers’ welfare and launched multiple schemes. One key announcement was the new GST reforms, set to kick in by Diwali and aimed at lowering the prices of daily-use commodities across the country.
PM Modi said after eight years of implementing the Goods and Services Tax, the government believes it is time to review the system. The upcoming reforms are being positioned as a Diwali bonanza, a gift for the people, traders, industries, and MSMEs.
“This Diwali, I am going to make it a double Diwali for you… Over the past eight years, we have undertaken a major reform in GST… We are bringing next-generation GST reforms. This will reduce the tax burden across the country,” he said.
He announced that India will launch Mission Sudarshan Chakra to develop a powerful weapon system aimed at thwarting any attempts by enemies to attack the country.
He also stated that the government will use the latest technological tools to secure strategic, civilian and religious places across the country. The announcements underscore the government’s focus on strengthening national security through advanced technology and defense preparedness.
“We have chosen the path of Lord Krishna’s Sudarshan Chakra. For the security of the country and its citizens, we will continue to upgrade our capabilities. Speaking from the Red Fort, I assure you that in the next 10 years, whether it is a place of strategic importance, a civilian area, or our centres of faith, we will build a ‘Rashtriya Suraksha Kavach’ to withstand any attack,” he said.
Prime Minister also hailed Operation Sindoor, India’s military action to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack. He said the Indian Armed Forces punished Pakistan in a way that they will never forget and any misadventure will be strongly dealt with in future.
“I salute our bravehearts who carried out Operation Sindoor. Our brave soldiers punished enemies beyond their imagination. The terrorists carried out bloodshed, so we punish our enemies. India was furious after Pahalgam”.
In a stark warning to Pakistan, PM Modi said India won’t tolerate any nuclear blackmail. Nuclear blackmail has been continuing for a long time, but it will no longer be tolerated. If our enemies persist in such attempts, our armed forces will respond. Our forces will do so on their own terms, at a time of their choosing, and by achieving the objectives they set. We are ready to give a befitting reply,” he said.
Narendra Modiannounced the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana. This Rs 1 lakh crore mega employment initiative takes effect immediately. The scheme aims to create job opportunities for nearly 3.5 crore young people across the country.
“There is good news for the youth of the country. On Independence Day, we are implementing the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana, a Rs 1 lakh crore project, from today onwards. This will create job opportunities for almost 3 crore youths of the country,” Modi said.
Under the scheme, every young person securing their first job will receive an incentive of Rs 15,000. The programme seeks to make the job market more accessible and rewarding for fresh entrants, enabling them to establish themselves in various industries.

Minister Savita says Democracy won In Pulivendula, Ontimitta ZPTC By-polls
District in-charge Minister Savita said that democracy won in the Pulivendula and Ontimitta ZPTC by-elections and TDP candidates won a huge majority. She alleged that in Pulivendula, the YS family had been winning local elections for 40 years by intimidation and concealment. ఈ రెండు వ్యాఖ్యలు పెద్ద వివాదంగా మారాయి. నష్టనివారణ దిశగా జగన్ ఏదైనా దిద్దుబాటు మాటలు చెప్పి ఉంటే సరిపోయేది. కానీ ఆయన అలా చేయకుండా.. రాష్ట్రంలో తన పార్టీలోమిగిలిఉన్న నాయకులందరినీ.. ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు సమర్థించాల్సిందిగా పురమాయించారు. పలుచోట్ల వైసీపీ వారు ప్రెస్ మీట్ పెట్టి.. ‘జగన్ చెప్పింది నిజమే కదా. చంద్రబాబుకు వయసు అయిపోయింది కదా.. ఆయనకు ఇవే చివరి ఎన్నికలు కావొచ్చు కదా..’ అని రకరకాలుగా సన్నాయి నొక్కులు నొక్కుతున్నారు. రాహుల్ విషయంలో కూడా జగన్ వ్యాఖ్యలను సమర్థిస్తున్నారు. చంద్రబాబు చావును కోరుకుంటున్నట్టుగా తన మనసులోని కోరిక మాటల్లో బయటకు రావడంతో.. పరువుపోయిందని జగన్ భయపడ్డారు. అయితే.. అదే కరెక్టు అని అందరితోనూ చెప్పిస్తే.. తనకు పరువునష్టం కొంత తగ్గుతుందని ఆయన భావిస్తున్నట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది. కానీ ఆయన తప్పుడు మాటలను సమర్థించడం మొత్తంగా అందరు నాయకుల పరువు పోతున్నదని ప్రజలు అనుకుంటున్నారు.
CM Chandrababu says state’s Income will Increase By 8% This year
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said in a review with officials that there are indications that the state’s income will increase by 8 percent this financial year. He clearly stated that they should focus on ways to increase income and special steps should be taken to ensure that tax collection is transparent.
As tax collection is key in the revenue coming to the state, he directed it to continue monitoring through the AP Tax Information System. Stating that the services sector will play a key role in taxes, he said that special attention should be paid to this sector.
He believed that there is scope for income growth in the software, healthcare and tourism sectors. The CM ordered that petrol and diesel required for state contractors’ vehicles should be purchased locally. He deplored that they are losing income due to purchasing from other states.
Chandrababu said that the focus should be on protecting health, not on increasing excise revenue. He said that there are more health benefits with less alcohol consumption and made it clear that land registration values should be in line with the market rate. He suggested that decisions should be made based on a scientific analysis of land transactions.
The Chief Minister said that leaks should be identified through AI and data analytics and technology should be used to prevent tax evasion. He suggested that technology should be fully utilized to increase revenue and vehicle tax collection should be monitored with the help of RTC and CC cameras. He suggested that the scrap vehicle policy should be implemented as per the central guidelines.
Chandrababu said that the existing subsidies should be continued to encourage the use of EVs. He believed that this would help in environmental protection. He said that technology should be used to prevent irregularities in mining. He said that data analysis should be done based on drones and satellites and income should be tracked. He said that steps should be taken to implement auto mutation in municipalities.
The Chief Minister said that errors in records should be corrected and geo-tagging should be done. He said that Aadhaar, mobile and current data should be linked. He estimated that an income of Rs. 1500 crore is possible through red sandalwood reserves. He said that international market opportunities should be utilized and new sources of income should be discovered through bamboo products.

Amaravati: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has lauded the victories of Telugu Desam Party candidates in the Pulivendula and Ontimitta ZPTC by-elections, stating that the wins have brought immense satisfaction to the people of the respective mandals. She alleged that while Jagan claims a hotline with Prime Minister Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah, he has no such connection with former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. She challenged Jagan to respond publicly and accused him of relying on shortcuts and preferential treatment, unlike Rahul Gandhi, who does not intervene when party leaders face legal action.
Sharmila further alleged that Jagan engages in corrupt politics, bowing to Modi and supporting all BJP-introduced bills. She also criticized him for disparaging Manikyam Thakur while avoiding discussion on challenges raised by him, claiming this demonstrates a lack of courage and propriety. Sharmila added, “We called him an adopted son because he is in hotline contact with Modi. If he is confident, he should go to the Assembly and ask questions. During debates on vote fraud in Parliament, he remains silent. Can anyone criticize Rahul for fighting for the country’s future?”
