Supreme Court Terms ‘Extremely Disturbing’ Kolkata police’s Delay In Registering Unnatural Death

The Supreme Court has raised serious concerns regarding the timeline and procedures followed by West Bengal Police in the Kolkata rape-murder case. The Apex Court termed “extremely disturbing” the Kolkata Police’s delay in registering the unnatural death of the woman doctor at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

It also asked protesting doctors to resume work and assured them that no adverse action would be taken after they rejoin. During the hearing, Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud and Justice J.B. Pardiwala questioned the sequence of events, particularly the delay in registering the case as an unnatural death and the timing of the postmortem. 

The CBI, now handling the investigation, informed the court that the crime scene was tampered with, complicating the investigation. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta highlighted that the first FIR was filed only after the victim’s cremation, raising further suspicions.

It said it was very surprising that the postmortem of the deceased was conducted on August 9 between 6.10 pm to 7.10 pm before the registration of the case as unnatural death.

 “How was it that the post-mortem was conducted at 6.10 pm on August 9 and yet the unnatural death information was sent to Tala police station at 11.30 pm on August 9. This is extremely disturbing,” the bench said.

“The entire procedure followed by your State is something which I have not come across in the 30 years of my career,” Justice Pardiwala observed.

During the hearing of a petition filed by an AIIMS resident doctor, CJI Chandrachud stated that doctors absent from duty would be marked as such, urging them to return to work. The court emphasised that the law will take its course and that patient care should not be disrupted. Despite AIIMS doctors mentioning their grievances about being victimized during the strike, the CJI reiterated that they must resume duty, as an expert committee has been formed to address their concerns.

In a significant development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Bengal Police have submitted their investigation reports to the Supreme Court in sealed envelopes regarding the brutal murder and rape of a doctor in Kolkata.

Taking to his Instagram, the DJ Tillu actor shared his opinion in a long note that read, “Everybody has a right to opinion. We all like/hate films and actors according to our whims and fancies and that is alright. But, how you express that opinion matters, big time. We are all game for some constructive criticism but terms like “Joker” don’t exactly scream the same.”

He further added, “Well, it’s no joke that #Kalki is the pride of Indian cinema and Mr. Nag Ashwin has made something class apart. Certainly not funny that he made a film that collected over 100cr.

Talking about Prabhas, he wrote, “Prabhas Anna is one of the biggest stars of Indian cinema and there is a reason behind it. It’s called “The X factor.” His stardom beyond successes because his failures make more money than we can fathom. He is one of the strong pillars behind #Kalki success. These are just facts even if I’m fanboying here.”

He concluded, “Here at the Telugu cinema, we respect anyone’s right to opinion provided the mode of delivery is mindful. Let’s have some mutual respect here please.”

Legendary music director MM Keeravani is composing the musical tunes for this flick.

Chandrababu seeks A Comprehensive policy on Free Bus Travel For women

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials to implement a comprehensive policy regarding free bus travel for women. For which, he asked them to study how such a policy is being implemented in other states like Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab and Tamil Nadu, at present.

Conducting a review on RTC and Transport Department, Chief Minister Chandrababu said that a team of officials should visit these states to study best practices being implemented there and prepare a report. Even if it is late, he made it clear the policy should be without errors and problems for women.

Suggesting to increase the use of electric buses in the coming days, he asked them  to calculate the difference in maintenance and mileage along with the purchase of diesel buses and electrical buses.  Since the use of electric vehicles is increasing, he said that measures should be taken to increase their use in RTC.

It has been suggested that 1253 electric buses should be provided by utilizing the subsidies given by the Center for the purchase of electric vehicles.  He suggested thinking of solutions to the problems that may arise in the case of charging if electric buses are run to distant areas.  The CM suggested coming up with a complete report on the pros and cons of renting buses and the benefits of owning buses.

Officials said that  the previous government did not purchase any new buses and the buses which have covered more than 15 lakh kilometers are currently in service. Due to such buses, they deplored that they are having frequent breakdown problems and accidents are happening.

Moreover, the Chief Minister said that the previous government had reduced bus services to rural areas and asked to take steps to increase the number of services. He stressed the need to improve RTS revenues through developing cargo services.

Chandrababu slams that the previous government did not solve any problem except that RTC was merged into the government and the problems of the employees were not solved. The CM suggested that SP, Collector and Road Safety officers should hold regular meetings to prevent accidents. Black spots where frequent accidents occur should be identified and appropriate measures should be taken.

He ordered the removal of vehicles that are more than 15 years old. Automated testing stations should be set up in every district. Driving license and RC card should be provided to motorists, he added.

BRS calls For State-wide protests over ‘Betrayal of Farmers’ Today

Terming Revanth Reddy-led Congress government’s failure on the crop loan waiver as the biggest betrayal farmers were subjected to in the state of Telangana, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has called for a protest across Telangana on Thursday to demand that the state government completely waive off Rs 2 lakh crop loans of all farmers without any restrictions.

Reiterating the allegation that the Congress government ‘betrayed’ farmers by not fully implementing farm loan waiver, BRS working president  and former minister KT Rama Rao asked party workers to stage protests in support of the growers.

If the government failed to respond positively to the demand, he warned that the BRS would not hesitate to call for a ‘Jail Bharo’ programme in the next phase courting arrests throughout the State in support of the farmers’ demand for the loan waiver as promised.

KTR claimed that the Chief Minister himself had said that farmers had outstanding loans of Rs 49,000 crore in December 2023 but he kept revising the figure downwards and finally loans to the tune of only Rs 7,500 crore were waived.

He cited the statement made by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka at a meeting of bankers on Tuesday that only Rs 7,500 crore loans were waived. KTR lamented that the government cheated lakhs of farmers by not waiving off their loans despite making promises. He alleged that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy backstabbed 70 lakh farmers with false promises and misleading talk.

Citing media reports, he said farmers have come on roads to protest by locking banks and laying siege to government offices. He alleged that the government was booking false police cases against farmers to suppress their protest.

KTR also alleged that the Chief Minister was trying to divert attention from farmers’ protest by using abusive words against BRS President and former chief minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR). He made it clear that the BRS will not allow its attention to be diverted and stand by farmers.

Moreover, KTR demanded that the Chief Minister should apologise to farmers for failing to fulfil promises including loan waiver and withdraw cases booked against some of them in Adilabad District.

నకిలీ విద్యా సంస్థలను నిర్వహించడం అంటే విద్యార్థుల జీవితాలతో ఆడుకోవడమే. తమను తాము విద్యాసంస్థలుగా ప్రకటించుకుని విద్యార్థులను చేర్చుకొని, వారి నుంచి ఫీజులు వసూలు చేస్తూ వారికి చెల్లుబాటు కానీ డిగ్రీలు ప్రదానం చేసేసి, ఆ తర్వాత వారి జీవితం ఎటు కాకుండా పోయేలా చేయడం నకిలీ యూనివర్సిటీల పని! అలాంటి నకిలీ యూనివర్సిటీలను యుజిసి గుర్తించి ప్రకటిస్తున్నది గాని, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు వాటి మీద చర్యలు తీసుకోవడం లేదు. అలాంటి నకిలీ యూనివర్సిటీలను నిర్వహిస్తున్న వారిని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం విచారించి, వారి తప్పుడు వ్యవహారాలపై చర్యలు తీసుకుంటే తప్ప ఇలాంటి మోసాలు మళ్ళీ మళ్ళీ జరగకుండా ఉండవు.
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 21 నకిలీ యూనివర్సిటీలు ఉన్నట్లుగా యూనివర్సిటీ గ్రాంట్స్ కమిషన్ యూజీసీ ప్రకటించింది. వాటిలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లోనే రెండు యూనివర్సిటీలు ఉన్నట్లుగా తేల్చారు. గుంటూరు కాకుమాని వారి తోటలోని క్రైస్ట్ న్యూ టెస్టమెంట్ డీమ్డ్ యూనివర్సిటీ, అలాగే విశాఖపట్నంలోని బైబిల్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా అనేవి ఆ నకిలీ వర్సిటీలు. రెండు కూడా క్రైస్తవ అనుబంధ సంస్థల రూపంలో నడుస్తున్నవే.

వీటి ద్వారా ఏ కార్యకలాపాలు జరుగుతున్నాయో గమనించవలసిన బాధ్యత ప్రభుత్వానిదే. నిజానికి ఎవరో ఒకరు యూనివర్సిటీ అని బోర్డు పెట్టేసుకొని వ్యాపారం చేస్తూ ఉంటే.. ప్రభుత్వం కళ్లు మూసుకొని ఉపేక్షించజాలదు. సాధారణంగా ఇలాంటి నకిలీ విద్యాసంస్థల వలన విద్యార్థులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో నష్టపోయి వారి బతుకులు రోడ్డున పడి పోలీసు కంప్లైంట్ ఇచ్చినప్పుడు మాత్రమే ప్రభుత్వం స్పందిస్తూ ఉంటుంది. అప్పుడు చర్యలు తీసుకుని తప్పుడు పనులు చేసిన వారిని కటకటాల వెనక్కు నెడుతూ ఉంటారు.  కానీ అప్పటికే ఆయా విద్యార్థుల జీవితాలు నాశనమై ఉంటాయి లేదా వారి జీవితంలో కొన్ని ముఖ్యమైన సంవత్సరాలను వాళ్లు కోల్పోయి ఉంటారు.

విద్యార్థిలోకానికి ఈ నష్టం జరగకుండా నకిలీ యూనివర్సిటీలను ముందే గుర్తించి వాటిపై చర్య తీసుకుంటే వారి దోపిడీని కట్టడి చేస్తే అందరికీ మేలు జరుగుతుంది. ప్రభుత్వం తమంత తాముగా గుర్తించకపోయినప్పటికీ కనీసం యూజీసీ వంటి సంస్థలు దేశంలోని నకిలీ యూనివర్సిటీల జాబితాలను ప్రకటించినప్పుడు వాటి మీద చర్యలు తీసుకోవడం కనీస ధర్మం. ఒక నకిలీ యూనివర్సిటీ కొన్నాళ్లపాటు నడిచింది అంటే, కొన్ని వందల వేల మంది జీవితాల మీద దుష్ప్రభావం చూపిస్తుంది. క్రైస్తవ అనుబంధ సంస్థల ముసుగులో నడుస్తున్న ఈ నకిలీల లీలలను ప్రభుత్వం కట్టడి చేయాలని ప్రజలు కోరుకుంటున్నారు. ఇవి ఎప్పుడు ఏర్పాటు అయ్యాయో.. వీటి నకిలీ దందాలకు సహకరించినది ఎవ్వరో అందరినీ కటకటాల వెనక్కు పంపాలని కోరుకుంటున్నారు.

ఏపీ మంత్రి నారా లోకేష్ కు కేంద్ర హోం మంత్రి అమిత్ షా నుంచి పిలుపు వచ్చింది. ఆయన బుధవారం సాయంత్రం బయల్దేరి ఢిల్లీ వెళ్లారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రానికి సంబంధించి కొన్ని కీలక విషయాలు చర్చించే నిమిత్తం అమిత్ షా పిలిపించినట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది. అయితే వివరాలు మాత్రం బయటకు రాలేదు. అయితే రాజకీయ వర్గాల్లో సాగుతున్న ఊహాగానాలను బట్టి.. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ప్రభుత్వ కాలంలో జరిగిన అరాచకాలపై, అప్పట్లో విచ్చలవిడిగా దుర్మార్గంగా చెలరేగిన నాయకులపై ఎలాంటి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి.. ఎలా ముందుకు వెళ్లాలనే విషయాలపై చర్చించేందుకే లోకేష్ కు పిలుపు వచ్చినట్టుగా అనుకుంటున్నారు.
నారా లోకేష్ గత అయిదేళ్లలో ప్రతిపక్షంలో ఉన్న రోజుల్లోనే.. వైసీపీ అరాచకాలమీద విరుచుకుపడుతూ వచ్చారు. జగన్మోహనరెడ్డి ఆయన అనుచర నాయకుల అండ చూసుకుని చెలరేగుతూ వచ్చిన అధికారుల తీరును కూడా ఆయన నిలదీస్తూ వచ్చారు. తప్పుడు పనులు చేసే అధికారులందరి వివరాలు తన వద్ద ఉన్న రెడ్ బుక్ లో రాస్తున్నానని, తమ ప్రభుత్వం వచ్చిన తర్వాత రెడ్ బుక్ లోని అందరి సంగతి తేలుస్తామని లోకేష్ చెబుతూ వచ్చారు.

జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ఓడిపోయిన తర్వాత.. పదేపదే రెడ్ బుక్ ప్రస్తావన తెస్తూ భయాన్ని వ్యక్తం చేసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. అయితే లోకేష్ మాత్రం ఇప్పటిదాకా ఆ మాటెత్తలేదు. వైసీపీ వీర భక్త అధికారుల్ని పక్కకు తప్పించడం అనే ప్రక్రియ, ప్రభుత్వం మారిన ప్రతిసారీ ఎలా జరుగుతుందో అలాగే జరిగిపోయింది తప్ప.. రెడ్ బుక్ లో నమోదు చేసిన తప్పుడు అధికారుల మీద, అవినీతి నాయకుల మీద ప్రత్యేక చర్యలు అంటూ ఇప్పటిదాకా జరగలేదు.

అయితే అమిత్ షా పిలుపు మేరకు నారా లోకేశ్ ఢిల్లీ వెళ్లిన నేపథ్యంలో ఈ విషయాలే చర్చకు వస్తాయని.. రెడ్ బుక్ లో ఎవరెవరి అవీనీతి బాగోతాలు ఉన్నాయో తెలుసుకుని, కేంద్రం ద్వారానే వారి మీద చర్యలకు ఉపక్రమించడం జరుగుతుందని పలువురు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. రెడ్ బుక్ వివరాలు అంటూ ఏవీ బయటపెట్టకుండానే.. రాష్ట్రప్రభుత్వం చేతికి మట్టి అంటకుండానే.. కేంద్ర సంస్థల ద్వారానే వైసీపీ జమానాలో విచ్చలవిడిగా వ్యవహరించిన తప్పుడు మనుషుల భరతం పట్టేందుకు, వారి అవినీతిని తేల్చేందుకు చర్యలుంటాయని అంటున్నారు. మరి షాతో భేటీ తర్వాత అయినా లోకేష్ ఏమైనా వివరాలుప్రకటిస్తారో లేదో చూడాలి.

పేదవాడి కడుపు నింపే అన్న క్యాంటీన్ ల వ్యవస్థను చంద్రబాబునాయుడు మళ్లీ అమల్లోకిక తీసుకువచ్చారు. ప్రభుత్వానికి ఎన్ని ఆర్థిక ఇబ్బందులు ఉన్నప్పటికీ.. ఈ భారం ఆయన భుజానకెత్తుకున్నారు. అయితే ప్రభుత్వం మీద భారం తగ్గుతూ అన్న క్యాంటీన్ వ్యవస్థ నిరాటంకంగా నడవడానికి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు దాతల నుంచి విరాళాలు కూడా ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నారు. ఇలాంటి నేపథ్యంలో తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీకి చెందిన నెల్లూరుజిల్లా రూరల్ ఎమ్మెల్యే కోటంరెడ్డి శ్రీధర్ రెడ్డి ప్రకటించిన నిర్ణయం ఆదర్శనీయంగా ఉంది. నియోజకవర్గంలో అభిమానులు ఎవ్వరూ తన ఫ్లెక్సిలు ఏర్పాటు చేయకుండా.. ఆ డబ్బును అన్న క్యాంటీన్లకు విరాళంగా ఇవ్వాలని ఆయన పిలుపు ఇవ్వడం మంచి పరిణామం. నిజానికి రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రతి ఎమ్మెల్యే కూడా అనుసరించాల్సిన మార్గం ఇది.

ఊర్లలో ఫ్లెక్సిలు అనేవి ఒక చండాలమైన సంస్కృతిగా తయారైపోయింది. ప్రతి అనాకానీ నాయకుడూ పెద్దపెద్ద ఫ్లెక్సిల్లో ఎమ్మెల్యే బొమ్మ ఒకవైపు.. తన బొమ్మ ఒకవైపు వేయించుకుంటూ తమను తాము పొలిటికల్ సెలబ్రిటీలుగా మాన్యుఫాక్చరింగ్ చేసుకోవడానికి ఈ ఫ్లెక్సిలు ఒక మార్గం అవుతున్నాయి. పైగా ఏ ఊళ్లో అయినా ఒక గుడి ఉన్నదంటే.. అక్కడ గుడి ఉన్నదని, దేవుడు ఉన్నాడని కూడా బయటివారికి కనిపించకుండా దానిచుట్టూ గుడికంటె పెద్ద ఫ్లెక్సిలు ఉంటాయి. అలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లో ఫ్లెక్సిల దరిద్రాన్ని కట్టడి చేయడానికి ప్రభుత్వమే ఏదైనా పూనిక తీసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది. నెల్లూరు రూరల్ లో రాజకీయ ఫ్లెక్సిలు దర్శనమివ్వకుండా కోటంరెడ్డి మంచి పనిచేశారు.

ఫ్లెక్సిలు ఏర్పాటుచేయడానికి అయ్యే ఖర్చు తక్కువే కావొచ్చు.. కానీ అలాంటివి ప్రతిరోజూ జరుగుతూ ఉంటాయి. ఆ చిన్న మొత్తాలన్నీ జమ అయితే.. అన్న క్యాంటీన్ వంటి వ్యవస్థ నడవడానికి గొప్ప మేలు అవుతాయి. నిజానికి ఎమ్మెల్యేలు అందరూ కూడా కోటంరెడ్డిని ఆదర్శంగా తీసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది. ఫ్లెక్సిలలో తమ బొమ్మ కనిపించకపోతే.. ప్రజలు తమను మర్చిపోతారేమో అని భయపడే నాయకులు ఉంటే వారి ఖర్మ. కానీ ప్రజా నాయకులుగా గెలిచిన ఎమ్మెల్యేలు ఫ్లెక్సిలను కట్టడిచేయాలి. ఆ మొత్తాలను అన్న క్యాంటీన్లకు విరాళంగా ఇవ్వమని అందరూ పిలుపు ఇస్తే కనీసం పేదోడి కడుపు నిండుతుందని తెలుసుకోవాలి.

గడికోట శ్రీకాంత్ రెడ్డి మాటలు ప్రజలకు మాత్రం కామెడీగా కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. ఎందుకంటే.. శాడిస్టు ప్రభుత్వం నడుస్తున్నదనే ఆరోపణలను జగన్ సర్కారు అయిదేళ్లపాటు ఎదుర్కొంది. రాష్ట్ర అధితనేతలో అసలైన శాడిజం అంటే ఏమిటో జగన్ రుచిచూపించారు. పేదవాడి కడుపు నింపే అన్న క్యాంటీన్లను కూడా మూయించేసి తన శాడిజం ప్రదర్శించారు. ఎంతటి విధ్వంస పాలన అందించారో అందరికీ తెలుసు. పైగా తన సొంత మీడియాతో రాజకీయ ప్రత్యర్థుల వ్యక్తిత్వ హననం చేయించే దుర్మార్గపు తప్పుడు కథనాలు ప్రచురించి చెలరేగినది ఎవరో కూడా ప్రజలకు తెలుసు. అలాంటిది అవే ఆరోపణలను గడికోట చంద్రబాబు మీద పులుముతుండడం విశేషం.

ఒక అధికారిని మందలించినందుకు, వైసీపీ దళాలకు ఆత్మీయుడైన ఫైబర్ నెట్ మధుసూదన్ రెడ్డిని సస్పెండ్ చేసినందుకు ఉద్యోగులందరినీ చంద్రబాబు వేధిస్తున్నట్టుగా గడికోట అభివర్ణిస్తున్నారు. ఒకరిద్దరు తప్పుడు వ్యక్తులకోసం ఆయన ఇంతలా వెనకేసుకు రావడం చిత్రంగా ఉంది. అంతకంటె కామెడీ మాటలేంటంటే.. జగన్ హయాంలో ఉద్యోగులకు చేయగలిగినంత మేలు చేశారట. రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రతి ఉద్యోగికూడా జగన్ పాలనను ఏ రకంగా అసహ్యించుకున్నారో అందరికీ తెలుసు. ఉద్యోగ వర్గాలను విపరీతంగా వేధిస్తూ మూటగట్టుకున్న చెడ్డపేరు కారణంగానే.. అసలు జగన్ ఓడిపోయారనే వాదన కూడా ఉంది. అలాంటిది గడికోట రివర్సులో చెబుతున్నారు.

రెడ్లకు కీలక పదవులు దక్కకపోయేసరికి గడికోట ఉక్కిరి బిక్కిరి అవుతున్నట్టుంది. ఒక సామాజిక వర్గాన్ని డీఎస్పీ పోస్టుల్లో పక్కన పెట్టారంటూ ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. తాము రాజ్యం చేసినప్పడు.. ఆ వర్గానికే అన్ని పదవులూ కట్టబెట్టారనే సంగతిని ఆయన మర్చిపోతున్నారు. అందుకే గడికోట పలుకులు దెయ్యాలు వేదాలు వల్లించినట్టుగా ఉన్నాయని ప్రజలు అంటున్నారు.

అసలే తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ కార్యాలయం మీద దాడిచేసిన కేసులో నిందితుడిగా ఉంటూ ఏ క్షణాన అరెస్టు కావాల్సి వస్తుందో అని భయపడుతున్న లేళ్ల అప్పిరెడ్డి తన భుజాల మీద ఉన్న బరువును తెలివిగా బొత్స మీదికి నెట్టేశారా? అనే అభిప్రాయం పలువురిలో వ్యక్తం అవుతోంది. ప్రస్తుతం శాసనమండలిలో సభాపక్ష నేతగా ఉన్న అప్పిరెడ్డి.. కొత్తగా ఆ పదవిలో నియమితుడైన బొత్స సత్యనారాయణ పేరును తానే సిఫారసు చేసినట్టుగా చెబుతున్నారు. వైసీపీ కేంద్ర కార్యాలయ ఇన్చార్జిగా బొత్స నియామకం విషయాన్ని కూడా ఆయనే స్వయంగా ప్రకటించారు.

లేళ్ల అప్పిరెడ్డి గుంటూరు జిల్లాకు చెందిన కీలక నాయకుడు. జగన్ విధేయుడు. గతంలో మార్కెట్ కమిటీ ఛైర్మన్ గా కూడా చేశారు. 2019 సమయంలో గుంటూరు ఎంపీ టికెట్ ను ఆశించారు. అయితే జగన్ నుంచి ఆశాభంగమే ఎదురైంది. తొలుత కొంత అసంతృప్తిగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ.. తర్వాత జగన్ ఆయనను బుజ్జగించి ఎమ్మెల్సీ పదవి కట్టబెట్టారు. జగన్ జమానాలో దాదాపుగా రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రతి కీలక పదవి రెడ్డి సామాజిక వర్గానికి చెందిన నేతల చేతుల్లోనే ఉండేది. అలాగే శాసనమండలిలో నాయకత్వ పదవిని లేళ్ల అప్పిరెడ్డి చేతుల్లో పెట్టారు. పార్టీ కేంద్రకార్యాలయ ఇన్చార్జిని కూడా చేశారు.

పార్టీ ఇటీవలి ఎన్నికల్లో ఘోరంగా ఓడిపోయిన తర్వాత పరిస్థితులు అన్నీ ఒక్కసారిగా మారాయి. గతంలో తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ కార్యాలయం మీద దాడిచేసిన కేసు లేళ్ల మెడచుట్టూ చిక్కుకుంది. అరెస్టు భయంతో ఆయన హైకోర్టు నుంచి ముందస్తు బెయిలు తెచ్చుకున్నారు. మండలిలో నాయకుడిగా ఈ సమయంలో పనికిరాని పదవిలో ఉన్నందుకు, అధికార పార్టీతో మరింతగా వైరం పెంచుకోవాల్సి వస్తుందని ఆందోళన చెందారో ఏమో ఆ పదవినుంచి తప్పుకున్నారు.

మండలి నాయకుడిగా కొత్తగా ఎమ్మెల్సీ అయిన బొత్స సత్యనారాయణను నియమించాలని తానే జగన్ కు ప్రతిపాదించినట్టుగా లేళ్ల చెబుతున్నారు. మరోసారి ఆలోచించుకోవాలని జగన్ సూచించినప్పటికీ కూడా..తానే సిఫారసుచేసి బొత్సకు ఆ పదవి ఇప్పించినట్టు చెబుతున్నారు. బొత్స సీనియరు గనుక ఆ పదవిని ఇప్పించారని అనుకోవాలా? లేదా, పార్టీ అధికారంలో లేనప్పుడు పనికిరాని పదవి ఎందుకని వదిలించుకున్నారా? అని ప్రజలు రకరకాలుగా అనుకుంటున్నారు.
