మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి బెంగుళూరు యలహంక ప్యాలెస్ లో కొన్నాళ్లు గడిపిన తర్వాత.. తిరిగి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కు వచ్చారు. కడపజిల్లాలో ఆయన అనివార్యంగా పర్యటించవలసిన సందర్భం ఏర్పడింది. సెప్టెంబరు 2న వైఎస్సార్ వర్ధంతి కావడంతో.. ఆయన ఇడుపులపాయకు వచ్చే తీరాలి. ఇటీవల మరణించిన ఒక పార్టీ నాయకుడి కుటుంబాన్ని పరామర్శించడమూ, పెళ్లి చేసుకున్న పార్టీకి చెందిన నవదంపతులను ఆశీర్వదించడమూ అనే రెండు కార్యక్రమాలను కూడా జగన్ ఈ సందర్భంగా పర్యటనలోనే షెడ్యూలు చేసుకున్నారు. మొత్తానికి కడపజిల్లా పర్యటనకు వచ్చారు.
అయితే కార్యకర్తల నుంచి బిల్లులు చెల్లింపు కోసం ఆయనకు గట్టి తాకిడే ఎదురైంది. పులివెందుల వైసీపీ కార్యాలయంలో ఆదివారం ప్రజాదర్బార్ నిర్వహించిన జగన్ కు నేతల తాకిడి తప్పలేదు. వైసీపీ హయాంలో ప్రభుత్వం అభివృద్ధి పనుల పేరిట ఇచ్చిన కాంట్రాక్టులు చేసిన పనులకు డబ్బులు రాలేదని, కొత్త ప్రభుత్వం పట్టించుకోవడంలేదని వారు మొరపెట్టుకున్నారు. మరోవైపు అప్పులకు వడ్డీలు పెరిగిపోతున్నాయంటూ వారు ఆవేదన చెందడం గమనార్హం.
కార్యకర్తలు కొన్ని రోజులు ఓపికగా ఉండాలని అన్ని సమస్యలకు పరిష్కారం చూపిస్తానని జగన్ వారికి చెప్పడం గమనార్హం. కొన్ని రోజుల్లోగా ఆయన ఏ రకంగానూ బిల్లులు ఇప్పించగల అవకాశం లేనప్పటికీ ఆయన అలాంటి కంటితుడుపు మాటలతో వారికి సర్దిచెప్పారు. ఆర్థిక శాఖలో జగన్ భక్తులైన కొందరు అధికారులు.. కనీసం మంత్రికి కూడా సమాచారం లేకుండానే ఇటీవలే వందకోట్ల రూపాయలకు పైగా వైసీపీకి చెందిన కాంట్రాక్టర్లకు బిల్లులు చెల్లించేసిన వైనం తెలిసిందే. తర్వాత ప్రభుత్వం ఇంకా గట్టి చర్యలు తీసుకుంది. జగన్ 2014-19 మధ్య కాలంలో కాంట్రాక్టులు చేసిన వారికి కూడా తన పాలన అయిదేళ్లకాలంలో బిల్లులు చెల్లించనేలేదు. వారందరి విలాపాలు పెండింగులోనే ఉండగా.. తన పార్టీవారి బిల్లుల బాధలు కొన్ని రోజుల్లో ఎలా పరిష్కరించగలరని కార్యకర్తలే అనుకుంటున్నారు.

IMD Issues Red Alert for Andhra Pradesh; Educational Institutions to Remain Closed

KC Tyagi resigns as JD(U) spokesperson sparks differences with allay BJP
Janata Dal (United) spokesperson KC Tyagi, whose stand on different issues often highlighted his party’s differences with ally BJP, has resigned, the regional party said on Sunday. It attributed Tyagi’s resignation to “personal reasons”.
However, it is believed that frequent comments by Tyagi, who is based in Delhi and enjoys an unlikely high profile in the national media for a regional party leader due to his experience and articulation, on central government’s policies were seen as unhelpful to the BJP-JD(U) ties.
His resignation comes in the backdrop of his recent articulation of some rather aggressive positions on ideological issues dear to the BJP, according to sources in the JD(U). These statements on certain “sensitive issues” put the party in a difficult position within the NDA, the sources added.
Be it on the Uniform Civil Code, the Waqf (Amendment) Bill or even the government’s position on the Palestine issue among other issues, the socialist leader’s outspoken stand did not go down well with many within the party and embarrassed the BJP, sources said.
What also worked against Tyagi was a recent joint statement he issued with Opposition leaders on the Israel-Hamas. warWith two senior JD(U) leaders, including Union minister Lalan Singh and its parliamentary party leader Sanjay Jha, based in Delhi, party sources said there is a view that the two leaders should be left to shape the ties with the BJP without frequent public interjections of Tyagi.
The party functionary, however, said there was no pressure from the BJP and the decision was taken suo motu by Nitish Kumar. Only 10 days ago, when Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan expressed his reservations about a UPSC advertisement soliciting applications for appointments to top government posts through lateral entry — saying his party was “absolutely not in support” of the move — Tyagi went a step further saying the government had given a “weapon in the hands of the Opposition” and the move would make “Rahul Gandhi a champion of the depressed classes”.
Cam Scandal : Lokesh clarifies no cameras and no videos found
A couple of days ago, a sensational news regarding the protest by girl students of Gudlavalleru Engineering College alleging that hidden cameras were installed by a 4th year male student in the hostel washroom created a huge furore in the media and shook the entire country when rumours spread like wild fire that hundreds of sensitive videos were sold out. However, no such incriminating evidence has been found so far.
Andhra Pradesh government immediately ordered a thorough probe into the allegations and also took a final year student into custody to investigate the matter. After a detailed enquiry, the police strongly asserted that no cameras were found in the washroom and also clarified that not a single video retrieved from any of the devices confiscated during the probe.
IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh reacted on this issue today and fired on the ongoing fake propaganda by the YSR Congress party supporters over this sensitive matter. Lokesh hit out at the media as well for sensationalizing the issue without having any proofs. He strongly condemned the news about any spy cameras installed in the washrooms and also denied that some 300 videos were forwarded by the accused.
Lokesh clarified that the issue is relating to four students and a detailed probe is already underway by the police department to find out the facts in this matter. He also came down heavily on YSRCP for playing cheap politics over a sensitive matter even before the investigation.
Meanwhile, the government suspended one Sub Inspector Sirish for behaving rudely with the students on Saturday night. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also expressed displeasure over the SI’s behaviour with the girls and ordered a strict action.
Chandrababu Anger over Women SI’s Misconduct with Gudlavalleru Engineering students
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed severe anger against misconduct of a woman SI Sirisha from Koduru police station with her rude behaviour with girl students of Gudlavalleru Engineering College, who were agitating against hidden cameras in their hostel washrooms.
He became furious after the video of Sirisha inappropriately misbehaving with girl students during her security duties at the college, went viral on social media. Immediately he directed to keep her suspension. He made it clear that such misconduct towards girl students, who are already under distress is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
The case of Gudlavalleru Engineering College in Krishna District has become a sensation in Telugu states. The students started to protest after knowing that some people had fixed spy cameras in the bathrooms of the girls’ hostel. In this order, SI Sirisha, who came to the college, misbehaved with the students.
She expressed her anger with the students who took up agitation in anger that the videos of 300 girls staying in the hostel were exposed. “We are doing an investigation.. Why are you making a fuss? You are here for a purpose.”. The students who were there took a video on their phones and posted it on social media. This video has become viral. CM Chandrababu Naidu responded in this context. Sirisha was suspended for speaking rudely to the students.
CM Chandrababu sought an explanation from the top police officials regarding the misbehavior of the SI. Officials explained that SI Sirisha was not in the investigation team. She was called only for security. After the incident, she was removed from security duties. Further action will be taken after taking an explanation from her, they said.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu said that it is not appropriate to misbehave with students who are in pain and worry. He suggested understanding their pain and acting to reassure them. The CMO said in the statement that an inquiry is being conducted on the issue of secret cameras. Meanwhile, SP has appointed CI Ramanamma as the investigation officer on this incident.
SI Sirisha behaved like threatening the students in Gudlavalleru. She warned students for protesting. “Why don’t you listen to what we are saying? Why are you doing this when the investigation is going on?. You don’t understand even if an SP level officer comes and. We are crying without food. If you exist, you have a purpose,” she said in a very harsh tone.
Then students questioned the police saying, ‘Are you not responsible..’ At once Shirisha was furious with the students. “Did you see the video recording? (from hidden cameras) Do you have a video? Did you see it with your eyes? You have to believe it when you see it with your eyes. Did you see what happened there?’ the SI asked the students.
