ఐఫా అంటే ఇంటర్నేషనల్ ఇండియన్ ఫిల్మ్ అకాడమీ అవార్డ్స్ ను గా ఐఫా అంటారనే సంగతి తెలిసిందే. భారతీయ చలనచిత్ర పరిశ్రమలో అత్యంత ప్రతిష్టాత్మకమైన అవార్డులలో వీటిని కూడా కీలకంగా భావిస్తారు. 2000లో ప్రారంభమైన ఈ అవార్డులు, ప్రతి సంవత్సరం ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా వివిధ నగరాలలో నిర్వహిస్తూ వస్తున్నారు. భారతీయ చలనచిత్ర పరిశ్రమను అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ప్రోత్సహించడంలో ఐఫా అవార్డులు ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశమని నిర్వాహకులు చెబుతున్నారు

 ఈ ఏడాది 2024 ఐఫా అవార్డ్స్ అంగరంగ వైభవంగా అబుదాబిలోని యస్ ఐలాండ్ లో సెప్టెంబర్ 27 నుంచి 29 వరకు జరగనున్న క్రమంలో ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ప్రముఖ బాలీవుడ్ నటుడు షారుక్ ఖాన్, దర్శక నిర్మాత కరణ్ జోహార్ హోస్ట్ లుగా వ్యవహరించనున్నారు.ఈ వేడుకలో షాహిద్ కపూర్ తో సహా పలు సినీ ప్రముఖులు తమ ప్రదర్శనలతో ప్రేక్షకులను అలరించనున్నారని తెలుస్తోంది. ఇక మొత్తం మూడు రోజుల పాటు జరిగే ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో 28న అవార్డ్స్ ప్రధానం జరుగనుండగా 29న ఐఫా రాక్స్ గాలాతో ఈ కార్యక్రమం పూర్తవుతుంది.

Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka Responds to Dispute Between MLAs Arekapudi Gandhi and Padi Kaushik Reddy

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has addressed the ongoing dispute between MLAs Arekapudi Gandhi and Padi Kaushik Reddy. He expressed his disappointment over responsible MLAs engaging in public altercations, stating that such behavior is troubling. He warned that if MLAs disrupt public peace and order, the government will not tolerate it.

Deputy CM Vikramarka made these remarks during his visit to the unified Karimnagar district today.

Vikramarka emphasized that his party has maintained restraint in respecting the opposition. He criticized the BRS party for undermining democracy while in power and accused Congress of seizing the Leader of the Opposition seat without rightful status. He assured that his party does not act like BRS and expressed a desire for a meaningful opposition voice in the Assembly. He affirmed that they hold respect for opposition leaders.

Kejriwal Released on Bail: Firecracker Celebrations Lead to Police Action

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was released from Tihar Jail last night after securing bail in the ongoing liquor policy case. The release was marked by celebrations from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders and supporters, who set off fireworks to welcome Kejriwal. However, in accordance with Delhi’s ban on fireworks, the police have filed a case against those involved in the celebrations.

Kejriwal had previously been granted bail by the Supreme Court in the liquor policy case, following earlier bail granted in an Enforcement Directorate (ED) case. The most recent bail in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) case facilitated his release from jail. After his release, AAP activists celebrated at Kejriwal’s residence and several other locations in Delhi, resulting in the police filing a case under the BNS Act against the individuals responsible.

The Delhi government had announced a ban on the manufacture and sale of fireworks on Monday, aimed at controlling pollution levels in the city. This ban will remain in effect until January 1 of the following year and also applies to online sales and deliveries

Recently, Kaushik’s parents spoke to the media in Tirupati, revealing their son’s poignant final wish: to watch NTR’s upcoming film ‘Devara’ before he passes away. The parents tearfully appealed for assistance, explaining that Kaushik has been pleading with doctors to keep him alive long enough to see the film.

Education Minister Nara Lokesh soon after realizing that employees of Kuppam Dravidian University have not been paid salaries for the last one year by the previous YCP regime, he has cleared all dues at once. Soon after employees brought this issue to his notice, he got an issue of a GO releasing Rs 2.86 crore pending salaries immediately.

Lokesh said that currently the coalition government is taking all measures to put the higher education sector back on track, which was crippled by the Jaganmohan Reddy government in the last 5 years. The people’s government led by Chandrababu Naidu in the state is taking all the necessary steps to improve the standard of education, he tweeted.

On the other hand, he has taken a key decision regarding school attendance. The Director of School Education has issued orders to record the attendance of students in the classrooms of every school across the state on the board.

Exactly how many students are there on the right side of the blackboard in the school classrooms? How many attended? How many were absent? It is suggested to register. All managements along with private schools have been ordered to follow this.

Also, the government has taken a key decision regarding the students of class 10 who are studying in 1000 government schools with CBSE affiliated recognition in the state. As the teachers do not have proper training to prepare the students for CBSE examinations, Lokesh feared that there is a possibility that most of the students will have trouble in the final exams due to lack of adequate preparation for CBSE.

On the other hand, the government has recently released the pending salaries of nurses and watchmen. While the previous government kept these salaries pending, now Lokesh cleared all pending salaries.

When Minister Lokesh came to know about the pending salaries, he immediately responded and ordered to release the arrears. As a result, the AP government has released arrears of Rs. 64.38 crores for the salaries of nurses and watchmen, and Rs. 25.52 crores for toilet cleaning material arrears, totaling Rs. 89.9 crores.

Govt To Rename Port Blair As Sri Vijaya Puram

In a significant move, the Union government has decided to rename Port Blair, the capital city of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, as “Sri Vijaya Puram.” The decision reflects the Narendra Modi government’s intent to honour the region’s historical and cultural ties.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday announced that the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Port Blair, has been renamed “Sri Vijaya Puram.” The move, aimed at erasing colonial imprints, is a tribute to the islands’ role in India’s freedom struggle. “Sri Vijaya Puram symbolises the victory achieved in our freedom struggle,” Shah said in a post on X.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Amit Shah said the decision was taken to shed “colonial imprints”. “Inspired by the vision of PM Narendra Modi to free the nation from the colonial imprints, today we have decided to rename Port Blair as Sri Vijaya Puram,” he said.

The home minister said while the earlier name had a colonial legacy, Sri Vijaya Puram symbolises the victory achieved in India’s freedom struggle and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands’ unique role in it.

Stating that the islands have an unparalleled place in India’s freedom struggle and history, Shah said “the territory that once served as the naval base of the Chola Empire, is today poised to be the critical base for our strategic and development aspirations.”

“It is also the place that hosted the first unfurling of our Tiranga by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Ji and also the cellular jail in which Veer Savarkar Ji and other freedom fighters struggled for an independent nation,” he said.

Shah highlighted the islands’ importance in India’s history, noting that it was where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose first unfurled the Tiranga and where freedom fighters like Veer Savarkar were imprisoned in the Cellular Jail. The territory, once a Chola naval base, is now a critical hub for India’s strategic aspirations.

In January, Prime Minister Narendra Modi named 21 islands of the Union Territory after Param Vir Chakra awardees and unveiled the National Memorial model for Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on Ross Island, now renamed as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday walked out of Tihar jail, hours after being granted bail in the corruption case by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in connection with the alleged excise policy scam.

Addressing AAP workers and supporters after his release, Kejriwal said that he will continue fighting the “anti-national forces working to weaken our country.” The Delhi CM added that prisons cannot weaken him, and that his morale is now higher than ever.

Addressing the gathering of the AAP workers, including his wife Sunita Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Delhi Minister Atishi and former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, among others, Kejriwal said in, “All of you came out in such large numbers in the rain, I want to thank you all for doing that. My life is devoted to the nation and I have faced a lot of struggles and hardship in my life, but God has been with me because I walked on the path of truth.”

Indirectly, he slammed the BJP for putting him in jail, and said some people put me in jail and thought that they would be able to break his morale. “Now that I came out of jail, my morale (‘haunsla’) and strength have gone up 100 times. I will follow the path God has shown me and I will keep serving the nation. I will keep fighting against the forces that are trying to divide the nation.”

Kejriwal was received by a huge crowd of supporters and party workers including senior leaders like Sanjay Singh.  The development comes after the Supreme Court earlier in the day granted him bail in a corruption case related to the alleged excise scam. Kejriwal has been granted bail in the corruption case related to excise policy, filed by the CBI. He had already got the interim bail in the related money laundering case filed by the ED.

ACP, CI suspended In Mumbai Actress Kadambari’s Illegal Detention Case

Vijayawada police has initiated acting against wrongful confinement and torture of Mumbai actress Kadambari Jatwani, during YCP regime, just ahead of recent polls. In the first step soon after registering a case the then ACP Hanumantha Rao, who worked in Vijayawada, and the then Ibrahimpatnam CI M. Satyanarayana were suspended by the police officials.

Now police sources revealed that the stage is also set ready to take action against senior IPS officers, the then intelligence chief PSR Anjaneyulu, Vijayawada police commissioner Kantirana Tata and DCP Vishal Gunni, who acted as perpetrators in this case. In a day or two, the state government is likely to act against these three IPS officials.

These actions are being initiated soon after registering a case at the Ibrahimpatnam police station after receiving a formal complaint from Kadambari Jethwani on Friday evening. She complained against YCP leader Kukkala Vidyasagar, besides these three police officials.

She claimed that she was illegally confined after registering a false case against her with forged documents. All of them were accused of colluding and acting illegally. She went to Ibrahimpatnam station under Vijayawada Commissionerate along with her lawyers PVG Umesh Chandra and Pal on Friday night.

She handed over her complaint to CI Chandrasekhar. She was accompanied by her father Narendra Kumar Jatwani and mother Asha Jatwani. She explained how the police misbehaved with her by illegally detaining in a guest house and how they interrogated her even in the middle of the night.

She expressed their grief that her family had to stay in Vijayawada jail for 42 days even though they had done nothing wrong. In the complaint, actress Kadambari sought that the IPS officers responsible for this to register a case against Vidyasagar and take action.

Ibrahimpatnam CI Chandrasekhar responded to this and told her that they will take legal advice on the complaint and register a case. Advocate Umeshchandra said that they have filed a complaint with the SHO as per the rules and they have faith in the government and the police.

Three senior IPS officers, who were allegedly involved in illegal detention and torture of Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethwani said to be locked in neck deep troubles. The inquiry officer Sravanti Roy, who has already submitted a report to DGP on this matter, said to be confirmed their role in this case.

The report stated that a case was deliberately filed against heroine Jethwani and a plan was made to bring the entire family to Vijayawada. A special police team went to Mumbai in the evening when YCP leader Kukkala Vidyasagar filed a case against her. But, surprisingly, the police team booked their flight tickets a day earlier even before they received a formal complaint.

According to the plan, everything was prepared first and then they tried to bring the heroine Jethwani’s family by taking a false complaint from Vidyasagar. Moreover, people who were mentioned in the case that the actress purchased a land from them and took advantage of Rs 5 lakh from Vidyasagar to sell that land, now tell police they never sold their land and they never know about Jethwani.

At the same time, it seems that the inquiry officer’s report also clarified the allegations that the documents used to file the case were not Jethwani and were prepared by the police. Jethwani complained that she was harassed by three IPS officers in the whole affair. They are the then Intelligence Chief PSR Anjaneyalu, the then Vijayawada Police Commissioner Kanti Rana Tata and DCP Visal Gunni .

Many of the police team headed by Vishal Gunni and went to Mumbai have reportedly admitted before the inquiry that they followed superior officers orders. They also said to some sensational happenings.

Meanwhile, actress Kadambari Jithwani reached Vijayawada on Friday and filed a complaint against several people at the Ibrahimpatnam police station. A copy of the complaint was handed over to CI Chandrasekhar. In the written complaint, she stated that she was illegally detained and subjected to torture and named three IPS officers. She alleged that Vidyasagar had emotionally abused her.
