YCP leader K Vidyasagar sent for remand in actress Jethwani case

YCP leader Kukkala Vidyasagar, who was arrested by the Vijayawada police in Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethwani’s illegal arrest and torture case, was sent for judicial remand for two weeks.

As he was absconding from the police, special police teams nabbed him in Dehradun two days ago,  brought to Vijayawada on Sunday night by train and immediately, he was taken to the government hospital and underwent medical tests.

Later on Monday morning, he was taken to the house of the 4th ACMM judge and produced before the judge. The investigating judge remanded him till October 4. Vidyasagar was taken to jail by the police.

It may be recalled that Vidyasagar went into hiding after the Kadambari case came to light. The police found that he was hiding in Mumbai for some days and in Delhi for some days. Finally he was arrested at a resort in Dehradun. After being produced in the court of the Third Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate there, he was brought to Vijayawada on a transit warrant.

It is known that Jethwani has filed a complaint with the Ibrahimpatnam police against Kukkala Vidyasagar along with IPS officers PSR Anjaneyu, Kanti Rana Tata, Vishal Gunni and several other police officers for registering a false case against her and mentally harassing her.

The police have registered a case under various sections on the 13th of this month. Kukkala Vidyasagar was named as the prime accused in this. He has been absconding ever since Jethwani came to Vijayawada and gave her statement.

He has filed a petition in the High Court to prevent the details of the case registered by him from being broadcast in the media. But when the Kadambari affair came to light, the higher authorities appointed an inquiry officer. ACP Sravantirai of NTR Police Commissionerate has been given charge.

Statements were taken from her father Narendra Kumar Jethwani and mother Asha Jethwani along with Kadambari. A 100-page inquiry report was prepared and sent to the government. On the basis of this report, the AP government suspended three senior IPS officers.

Kadambari complained to the police four times.  Complaints were made three times to the police commissioner and the fourth time to the Ibrahimpatnam police. Police have appointed two special teams to nab Vidyasagar, who has gone into hiding. Finally arrested.

Kejriwal asks RSS if it agreed with the BJP’s politics of using central agencies

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday, lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking the RSS if it agreed with the BJP’s politics of using central agencies to break up parties and topple opposition governments, and inducting “corrupt” leaders into its fold.

In his first ‘Janta ki Adalat’ public meeting at Jantar Mantar following his resignation as Delhi chief minister, Kejriwal asked five questions to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Bhagwat, including if the BJP’s rule on age of retirement also applied to Modi as it did for LK Advani.

Kejriwal said, “RSS people say that we are nationalists and patriots. With all due respect, I want to ask Mohan Bhagwat ji five questions.” He questioned Bhagwat if he agreed with the BJP’s politics of calling politicians “corrupt” and then inducting them into its fold.

1. The way Modi ji is breaking parties and bringing down governments across the country by luring them or threatening them with ED and CBI, is this correct?

2. Modi ji has included the most corrupt leaders in his party, whom he himself called corrupt, do you agree with such politics?

3. BJP was born from the womb of RSS, it is the responsibility of RSS to ensure that BJP does not go astray, have you ever stopped Modi ji from doing wrong things?

4. JP Nadda said during the Lok Sabha elections that he does not need RSS. Has the son grown so much that he has started showing his displeasure? The son is showing his displeasure to the motherly institution. Didn’t you feel sad when he said this?

5. You people have made a law that leaders will retire after 75 years… Amit Shah is saying that this rule will not apply to Modi ji. What applied to Advani ji, why will it not apply to Modi ji?…”

The former chief minister also said that he resigned because he was hurt by the corruption allegations against him and added that he had only earned respect, not money, during the past 10 years. He said the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls were an “agni pariksha” for him and urged people not to vote for him if they thought he was dishonest.

TDP leaders in Prakasam district are angry against Jana Sena’s move to induct former YCP minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, who recently resigned from the party and met deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan expressing his interest to join Jana Sena. It is an open secret that Balineni has had a close association with Pawan Kalyan since a long, that’s why Jana Sena fielded a weak candidate in 2014 polls facilitating easy win for Balineni.

Though former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and other YCP leaders were accusing Pawan Kalyan miserably during the last five years, Balineni never spoke against him. However, local TDP leaders, particularly Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhan, who defeated him in the recent election, are expressing their strong reservation against Jana Sena’s move.

It may be recalled that during the YCP regime, Balineni has harassed several TDP leaders and TDP leaders have been making severe corrupt allegations and misuse of power against him. In inducting such a leader, TDP leaders made it clear it would be difficult for them to work with Jana Sena in prakasam district.

TDP leaders questioned Pawan Kalyan that how a person who has caused them trouble in many ways for many years will be inducted into his party. Ongole TDP MLA Damachrala Janardhan made very critical comments on former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy. He said that he fought against Balineni for five years during the YCP government. Damachara accused Balineni of filing illegal cases against TDP ranks in Ongole. He said that 32 cases have been filed against him.

Recalling that he abused Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu like anything, he alleged that he is joining Jana Sena only to escape from possible cases of corruption and harassment by the new government. He warned that no matter which party he joins, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and his son will not be able to escape from the cases.

“We will bring out the wrongdoings done by Balineni in the last five years and even Pawan Kalyan will not be able to save him. We will stand by TDP, Jana Sena and BJP ranks who have worked hard in the elections”, he asserted. Meanwhile, after meeting Pawan Kalyan last Thursday, Balineni said that he was invited to join Jana Sena and he will soon join the party.

NTR heads to USA for Devara promotions

Man of Masses NTR has been aggressively promoting his upcoming pan-India film Devara from the past two weeks ahead of the grand theatrical release on September 27th. The promotional campaign started with the launch of theatrical release on September 10th and NTR later attended events in Mumbai and Chennai. 

The pre-release event was supposed to held on Sunday in Hyderabad. Unfortunately, the organisers cancelled the event in the last minute due to unruly crowd and security failure at the venue. NTR expressed disappointment over the cancellation and apologized to his fans. 

Now, NTR embarked on a short trip to USA to promote Devara there. He will attend the special premiered at the prestigious and renowned film festival Beyond Fest 2024 in Los Angeles in this week. NTR will promote Devara in USA during several events for the next few days. He will attend the USA premieres on September 26th and watch the film with fans. The film is targeting a sensational opening in North America with pre-sales already crossing the $2 Million mark. 

Meanwhile, the release trailer of Devara generated a tremendous buzz on the film. The action packed content and stupendous visuals created a massive impact ahead of the film’s release. 

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara has Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Jahnvi Kapoor in significant roles.

ఇదేమీ రాజకీయ వ్యవహారం కాదు. తమ నాయకుడిని దూషించారని, సదరు నాయకుడి కళ్లలో సంతోషం చూడడానికి పాల్పడే దుశ్చర్యలు కాదు. సాక్షాత్తూ దేవదేవుడి పట్ల జరిగిన అపచారానికి ప్రజల్లో కట్టలు తెంచుకుంటున్న ఆగ్రహం. అలాంటి ఆగ్రహం ఏ రూపంలోకైనా మారే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ కేంద్ర కార్యాలయం మీద కొందరు భారతీయ జనతా యువమోర్చా కార్యకర్తలు దాడికి ప్రయత్నించడం అనేది ఇప్పుడు ఆ పార్టీ వారికి ఎదురుదాడికి అవకాశం ఇస్తున్నట్టుగా కనిపిస్తోంది. తమ పార్టీ కేంద్ర కార్యాలయాన్ని ధ్వంసం చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నించారంటూ.. వైసీపీ నేతలు పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. ఇలాంటి తరుణంలో ప్రజలు చెబుతున్న మాట ఏంటంటే.. ‘‘మీ పార్టీ ఆఫీసు మీద దాడి జరిగితే, ప్రజల్లో మీ పట్ల ఉన్న ఆగ్రహం చల్లారిపోతుందేమో అని ఎదురుచూడండి. సంతోషించండి. ఆ దాడి కూడా జరగకపోతే, ప్రజాగ్రహం మీ పార్టీ రాజకీయ భవిష్యత్తుకే సమాధి కట్టేస్తుంది’’ అని అంటున్నారు.!

అయినా వైసీపీ కేంద్ర కార్యాలయం మీద దాడి అంటూ వారి ఫిర్యాదు కూడా చాలా కామెడీగా ఉంది. వైసీపీ ఆఫీసు వద్దకు బిజెవైఎం కార్యకర్తలు వెళ్లిన మాట నిజం. వారు అక్కడ కేవలం ధర్నా చేయడానికి, నిరసన తెలియజేయడానికి మాత్రమే వెళ్లినట్టుగా ఆ వర్గం చెబుతోంది. వారు వైసీపీ ఆఫీసు ప్రహరీ  గేటు దాటి లోపలకు వెళ్లలేదు కూడా. అయినా ఆ పార్టీ మాత్రం విధ్వంసానికి కుట్ర అని అంటోంది. ధర్నా చేస్తున్నవారిని సెక్యూరిటీ సిబ్బంది చెదరగొట్టడంతో కాస్త ఘర్షణ ఏర్పడింది. సెక్యూరిటీ  వలయం దాటి బిజెవైఎం వారు లోపలకు చొచ్చుకు వెళ్లేందుకు ప్రయత్నించారంటూ పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదులో పేర్కొన్నారు.

బిజెపి పెద్దలతో సత్సంబంధాలు కోరుకునే జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డికి ఈ పరిణామం చేదుగా ధ్వనించవచ్చు. బిజెవైఎం వారు స్వయంగా పార్టీ ఆఫీసు వద్ద నిరసనలకు వస్తున్నారు. నిజానికి ఆయన పట్ల, ఆయన పరిపాలన పట్ల అసహ్యభావం బిజెవైఎంలో మాత్రమే ఉన్నదా అనుకోవడానికి వీల్లేదు. రోడ్డెక్కి నిరసనలు తెలియజేయడానికి పూనుకోవడం లేదు గానీ.. హిందూ భక్తులు ప్రతి ఒక్కరిలోనూ జగన్ పట్ల అసహ్యం పేరుకుపోతున్నదని ప్రజలు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s Strong Response to Jagan’s Letter to PM Modi Regarding Tirupati Laddu Incident

In a pointed response to YCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy’s letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi concerning the Tirupati Laddu issue, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu expressed sharp disapproval. He criticized Jagan’s decision to involve the Prime Minister, saying, “Not only was a mistake made, but writing to the Prime Minister about it shows audacity. Do you think it requires wisdom to make a mistake and then write to the PM? Do you believe everything you do is acceptable? Do you even consider yourself a human being?” Naidu’s remarks reflected his strong frustration over the matter.

Chandrababu further questioned Jagan’s hypocrisy, stating, “Do you think by shouting loudly and evading accountability, your wrongdoings will be forgotten? You have betrayed Lord Venkateswara, and now you talk about justice and righteousness? This behavior is intolerable.” He also drew attention to the fact that when figures like Sonia Gandhi and Abdul Kalam visited Tirumala, they signed affidavits affirming their faith in Lord Venkateswara. “Are you greater than them?” he questioned. Additionally, Naidu expressed his discontent over the appointment of Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, who had officiated his daughter’s wedding in Christian customs, as the TTD Chairman, calling it an unforgivable act.

On the Tirupati Laddu adulteration issue, CM Naidu announced the establishment of a Special Investigation Team (SIT), headed by an IG-level officer, to conduct a full probe into the matter. He assured the public that the SIT would thoroughly investigate and provide a detailed report. To restore the sanctity of Tirumala, Naidu declared that a peace ritual, the Shanti Homam, would be held from 6 AM to 10 AM, followed by the sacred Panchadravya Samprokshanam, as a part of the purification process.

Megastar Chiranjeevi enters Guinness World Record

In what could be one of the biggest achievements in his illustrious career by adding another feather in his cap, Megastar Chiranjeevi from Tollywood entered the coveted Guinness World Records for his impressive dance moves in the last four decades. The announcement was made during an event in Hyderabad on Sunday evening and Bollywood actor Aamir Khan attended it as a chief guest. 

Chiranjeevi has been honoured by Guinness World Records as the most prolific film star of the country. He performed over 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs across 156 films over his 45-year career, a rare feat and remarkable achievement that brings immense pride to Telugu cinema and the Indian film industry. 

Guinness World Records adjudicator Richard Stenning extolled Chiranjeevi’s extraordinary contribution. He said “After thoroughly reviewing all 156 films and his dance performances, we found this achievement to be officially amazing.”

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, the chief guest at the event, shared his admiration, stating, “I am honored to witness this historic moment. Like millions of his fans, I am also a die-hard admirer of Chiranjeevi. He didn’t need to invite me—he could have just commanded my presence. One move from Chiranjeevi is enough to electrify audiences. His inspiration reaches far and wide, even beyond India.”

Talking about Chiranjeevi’s dancing prowess, Aamir gushed, “If you see any of his songs, his own heart is into it. He is enjoying himself. Our eyes just don’t move from him because he is having such a great time. We are also infected with that.”

Reflecting on the honor, Chiranjeevi shared, “This moment is unforgettable, and having Aamir here makes it even more special. I never sought recognition from the Guinness World Records, but it feels incredible to be honored for my dancing. It’s dancing that truly made me a star and brought me so many rewards throughout my career. 

“I still remember dancing in front of legends like Savitri and my first dance steps on screen. I owe this recognition to the directors, producers, music directors, and choreographers who always made sure to showcase my dance performances in films. I am deeply thankful to Richard Stenning for coming all the way to honor me”, said Chiru.
