Delhi CM Atishi gets ‘Z’ category security

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi was on Wednesday accorded ‘Z’ security cover by Delhi Police, days after she was sworn in as the chief minister of Delhi. Notably, Atishi was on Saturday provided security cover, which included a pilot, in her convoy by the Delhi Police.

According to protocol, Delhi’s chief minister is entitled to ‘Z’ category security cover on the directions of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Delhi Police deploys 22 personnel in shifts for a ‘Z’ category protectee.

The ‘Z’ category security also includes PSOs, escorts and armed guards. Delhi Police said her security may be further reviewed by central agencies on the direction of MHA after threat assessment.

Earlier in the day, the Delhi government led by Atishi decided to increase minimum wages of unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled workers to Rs 18,066, Rs19, 929, and Rs 21,917 per month respectively. Atishi along with Labour Minister Mukesh Ahlawat notified the price hike in a press conference on Wednesday

Atishi said, “I want to notify the increased prices, the minimum wage for unskilled workers will be increased to Rs 18,066, for semi-skilled workers they will be increased to 19, 929, and for skilled workers, it will be increased to Rs 21,917.”

Currently, unskilled workers receive Rs 17,494, semi-skilled workers receive Rs 19,279 and skilled workers receive Rs 21,215 per month. During the press conference, Atishi called BJP an ‘anti-poor’ party and drew parallels between the minimum labour wages in other states.

Meanwhile, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai unveiled the city’s Winter Action Plan, featuring a range of measures including drone monitoring, an intensified anti-dust campaign, formation of task forces, road-sweeping machines and deployment of 200 mobile anti-smog guns to combat air pollution under the theme “Mil Kar Chale, Pradushan Se Lade”.

In a bid to combat Delhi’s notorious winter pollution, the minister emphasised the collaborative effort between the government and people to tackle the problem, especially during winter when pollution levels typically spike.

Strongly objecting YCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy call to offer prayers across the state on 28th of this month and he himself planning to visit Tirumala on foot alleging Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of making politicizing laddu adulteration, finance minister and senior TDP leader Payyavula Keshav warned him to stop continuing politicization of Tirumala.

Asserting that Tirumala is a place of worship and attached to the sentiments of crores of people, he accused that it was during Jagan’s regime he and his associates spoiled the sacred environment and transformed it into a commercial proposition for their looting.

The Finance Minister said that adulteration of ghee used for Laddu prasadam was proved without any doubt and this crime was committed during Jagan’s period. Who can deny these bare facts?, he asked. Even though Jagan pretends to be sane and preparing for worship at temples, it is nothing but a lie, he added.

Keshav advised the former chief minister Jagan to ask the devotees about the difference between the quality of laddoos in the past and the quality of laddoos now. Only then the facts come out. He recalled that for Chandrababu Naidu the sanctity of Tirumala is prime and said though as chief minister he can go for darshan through Mahadwaram, he always goes only through He said that if there is a chance for the CM to go from Vaikuntham Q Complex.

Further, the finance minister reminded that the non-believers have to sign the register if they want to have darshan of  Srivaru. Has Jagan signed any time?, he asked. Atleast, this time he asked Jaganmohan Reddy to sign on such a declaration before offering prayers at Srivaru.

He said that crores of devotees of Sri Venkateswara Swamy are amazed after knowing numerous signs committed by Jagan and his associates at Tirumala. He warned that playing with people’s sentiments is enough, don’t continue to play with the sentiments of devotees.

He ridiculed Jagan’s pretence of innocence stating that as chief minister he can only nominate the trust board, but not look after the administration. Then why was the reverse tendering system implemented here?, he asked. He said that it was learned when a trust board member from North India objected on the quality of the ghee, he was bulldozed by the chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and Executive Officer Dharma Reddy.

ఇవాళంటే వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి రాష్ట్రంలో దిక్కూమొక్కూ లేదు. చెప్పుకోదగ్గ, యాక్టివ్ గా ఉన్న నాయకులకు గతిలేదు. పార్టీ తరఫున  ఒక ప్రెస్ మీట్ పెట్టాలంటే.. బోలెడు  మందిని బతిమాలుకుని చివరికి ఎవరో  ఒకరితో పెట్టించాల్సి వస్తోంది. బీసీ నాయకుల సంగతి సరేసరి. అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో అత్యంత దారుణంగా ఓడిపోయిన తరువాత.. ఆపార్టీకి నాయకులకు గతిలేకుండాపోయింది. మరి ఏడాదిన్నర కిందట పరిస్థితి అది కాదు కదా. బీసీ నాయకులు కూడా ఆ పార్టీలో పుష్కలంగానే ఉన్నారు కదా. అయినా సరే.. జగన్ తమకు గతిలేదన్నట్టుగా.. తెలంగాణ నుంచి ఆర్.కృష్ణయ్యను వలసతీసుకువచ్చి ఆయనకు వైసీపీ తరఫున ఏపీ నుంచి రాజ్యసభ ఎంపీ పదవి కట్టబెట్టారు. తీరా ఇంకా నాలుగేళ్ల పదవి మిగిలి ఉండగానే.. ఆర్ క్రిష్ణయ్య తూచ్ అనేసి.. ఛీ కొట్టి పార్టీకి, ఎంపీ పదవికి కూడా రాజీనామా చేసేశారు.

ఇలాంటి పరిణామం జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డికి పార్టీలో అంతర్గతంగా అత్యంత అవమానకరమైన విషయం. పార్టీని నమ్ముకుని కొన్నేళ్లుగా పనిచేస్తున్న ఎవరో ఒక బీసీ నాయకుడికి ఆ రాజ్యసభ పదవి ఇచ్చి ఉంటే.. కనీసం ఇవాళ్టికి ఎంపీల కౌంట్ అయినా మిగిలిఉండేది. కానీ జగన్ ఆ పనిచేయలేదు. వలస నాయకుడిని నెత్తిన పెట్టుకున్నారు. ఇవాళ పార్టీలోని బీసీ ప్రముఖులందరూ జగన్ కు తగిన శాస్తే జరిగిందని లోలోపల పండగ చేసుకుంటున్నారు.

వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ దుకాన్ బంద్ కావడానికి దగ్గరలోనే ఉన్నదనే పుకార్లు తాడేపల్లి వర్గాల్లో చురుగ్గా వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. ఒక్కచాన్స్ ను వాడుకుని, ఏక బిగిన మరో ముప్పయ్యేళ్లు పరిపాలించేద్దామని కలలుగన్న జగన్.. ఇప్పుడు దక్కినది చాల్లే అనుకుని.. ఇక విశ్రాంత జీవనం గడపాలని అనుకుంటున్నారో ఏమో తెలియదు. పార్టీ గురించి పట్టించుకోవడం లేదు. ఆర్.క్రిష్ణయ్య కూడా వెళ్లిపోయారు. ఇప్పుడు ఎంపీస్థానానికి ఉప ఎన్నికవచ్చినా జగన్ పార్టీ గెలవదు.

ఈ కారణం చూపించి మరింత మంది బీసీ నాయకులు కూడా వెళ్లడానికి సిద్ధం అవుతున్నట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది. జగన్మోహన రెడ్డి ఈ విపత్కర పరిస్థితులను ఎలా ఎదుర్కొంటారో చూడాలి.

ఆచరణలో అంత సులువుగా కనిపించని ఏదో ఒక డిమాండును తమ జీవిత లక్ష్యంగా ప్రకటించడం.. అది మొదలుగా ఆ లక్ష్యం కోసం పరితపిస్తున్నట్టుగా.. కనిపించడం అనేది రాజకీయ నాయకులకు ఒక ఫ్యాషన్ అయిపోయింది. కులాల ఆధారంగా నడిచే ఆ అసాధ్యలక్ష్యాలను వాళ్లు మాత్రం తురుపుముక్కలాగా వాడుకుంటూ.. రాజకీయంగా ఎదగడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తూ ఉంటారు. ఇప్పుడు ప్రముఖ బీసీ సంఘాల నాయకుడు వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ రాజ్యసభ ఎంపీ ఆర్.కృష్ణయ్య కూడా అదే పని చేస్తున్నారు. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి, ఎంపీ పదవికి కూడా రాజీనామా చేసిన ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య.. బీసీలకు చట్టసభల్లో 50 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ సాధించడం కోసం తన జీవితంమొత్తం పోరాడుతానంటూ ఇప్పుడు చాలా ఘనంగా చెబుతున్నారు.

వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ సారథి జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ఏడాది  కిందట రాజ్యసభ ఎంపీ పోస్టుల  భర్తీ సమయం వచ్చినప్పుడు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో వేరే బీసీ నాయకుడికి తమ పార్టీలో గతిలేదని అనుకున్నారో లేదా, ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య కు పదవి ఇస్తే రాష్ట్రంలోని బీసీలందరూ ఎగబడి తనను నెత్తినపెట్టుకుంటారని కలగన్నారో తెలియదు గానీ.. తెలంగాణకు చెందిన ఆర్ కృష్ణయ్యకు ఎంపీ పదవి కట్టబెట్టారు. ఆయనకు ఇంకా నాలుగేళ్ల పదవీకాలం ఉంది. అయినా సరే కృష్ణయ్య ఎంపీ పదవితో పాటు వైసీపీ సభ్యత్వాన్ని కూడా వదులుకున్నారు. వైసీపీ మునిగిపోయే నావ. అందులో ఉంటే మనం కూడా మునిగిపోవడం తప్ప మరో ప్రయోజనం లేదు అని నేతలందరూ గుర్తిస్తున్నారనడానికి  ఇదొక నిదర్శనం.ఆర్.కృష్ణయ్య బిజెపిలో చేరుతారని వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి.

అలాగే  ఆయనను కాంగ్రెసులో చేరాల్సిందిగా కోరడానికి ఎమ్మెల్సీ తీన్మార్ మల్లన్న వెళ్లి కలిసినట్టుగా కూడా వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి. అయితే బీసీలకు 50 శాతం చట్టసభ ఎన్నికల రిజర్వేషన్లు డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్న కృష్ణయ్య.. ఆ కలను నెరవేర్చిన పార్టీలో చేరితే మాత్రమే  పరువుగా ఉంటుంది. ఫలానా పార్టీ మాత్రమే ఆ హామీ ఇవ్వగలదు అని నమ్మాను.. లాంటి పడికట్టు మాటలతో ఏదో ఒక పార్టీ తీర్థం పుచ్చుకోకుండా.. ముందు పోరాటం సాగించి.. ఎవరు నెరవేరిస్తే ఆ పార్టీలో మాత్రమే చేరితే ఆర్.కృష్ణయ్యకు పరువుగా ఉంటుంది. అలాకాకుండా.. ఈ డిమాండును అడ్డు పెట్టుకుని మరో పార్టీలో చేరిపోతే.. ఆయనను మించిన అవకాశవాది మరొకరు ఉండరు.

They will unveil the promo for the second single, “Raa Macha Macha,” in Telugu and Tamil on September 28, and rumors suggest that the full lyrical video might drop on September 30.

Kangana Regrets After Her controversial Comments over Farm Laws Triggered A Backlash

Actor-turned-politician and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s controversial comments frequently push her own party also into embarrassing situations. While the party was earlier forced to distance itself from her comments on farmer’s agitation, this time she was forced to issue a public apology.

Facing backlash over her remarks calling for bringing back the farm laws that were repealed in 2021, she said her views on the contentious legislation were personal and do not represent the party’s stand.The Himachal Pradesh BJP has also distanced itself from the Mandi MP’s statement.

In a post on X, Kangana wrote, “My views on Farmers Laws are personal and they don’t represent the party’s stand on those Bills.”  

The BJP leadership wasn’t amused by her remark with senior leader Gaurav Bhatia taking to X to state that Ranaut wasn’t authorised to make such statements on the party’s behalf. He added that her statement did not reflect BJP’s view on the farm bills and the party disapproved of the statement. 

Ranaut, during an interview, said the farm laws should be brought back and the farmers themselves should demand it. “The laws in farmers’ interest be brought back. Farmers should themselves demand this (to bring farm laws back) so that there is no hindrance to their prosperity”, she said.

Stating that farmers are a pillar of strength in India’s progress, she said that only in some states, they object to farm laws. “I appeal with folded hands that farm laws should be brought back in the interest of farmers,” she added.

Ranaut’s remark came at a time when political parties are preparing for the assembly polls in Haryana slated on October 5. Haryana had witnessed major protests by farmers, especially at Delhi borders, demanding that the three laws be repealed. The laws were eventually withdrawn by the Modi government in 2021.

This is the second time the party has been schooling Kangana about the farm laws. Earlier too, the BJP had to distance itself from the MP after she claimed the farmers’ protest could have led to a Bangladesh-like crisis in India if not for the decisive actions of the Modi government.  

She then publicly acknowledged that she was rebuked by the party leadership for her derogatory remarks and would be more careful with her choice of words in the future.

Man of Masses Jr. NTR is ready to make a powerful return as a solo lead in theaters after a 6-year hiatus with his long-awaited film ‘Devara: Part 1’, hitting screens worldwide on September 27. He continued with urging fans to maintain peace and avoid engaging in fan wars, stating, “Due to these unnecessary fan wars, we are only inviting negativity on our film. It will give a temporary kick, but later it is affecting our heroes’ films only. So requesting all our co-fans, please let’s stop these fan wars and enjoy the euphoria.

He encouraged fans attending the first screening to refrain from sharing videos on social media and advised them to ensure others nearby do the same. He emphasized that those watching later should experience the same excitement, and it’s important not to ruin that for them.

Kiran Abbavaram is set to return to the screen with a period action drama ‘KA’ after a hiatus of one year. Helmed by Sujith and Sandeep, the film features Nayan Sarika and Thanvi Ram as the female leads alongside Abbavaram. The project is bankrolled by Chintha Gopala Krishna Reddy under the banner of Sri Chakraas Entertainments, with Kiran Abbavaram’s wife, Rahasya Gorak, also serving as a production partner. Recently, the film wrapped its shooting, and Kiran shared pictures from the set with the film unit.

After wrapping up the entire shoot of ‘KA’, directors Sujith and Sandeep expressed their emotions in a heartfelt note, saying, “And just like that, we’ve wrapped! It’s hard to find the words to describe what this journey has meant. Kiran Abbavaram expressed great confidence with this film, stating that his portrayal as Abhinaya Vasudev is going to be the most remembered character in his career. With the official release date yet to be announced by the makers, the film is scheduled for a pan-Indian release and will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. Sam CS is the music composer, while Viswas Daniel and Sateesh Reddy Masam are the film’s cinematographers.
