Now the AP government has recommended the name of Nandamuri Balakrishna for the Padma Vibhushan award. Balakrishna has completed his 50 years in the film industry. Balakrishna has a specialty in the service sector along with the film industry.
Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, managed by him, has been receiving national recognition in providing affordable cancer treatment, particularly to many poor people. With this, it seems that the AP government has recommended Balakrishna as worthy of Padma Bhushan.
Along with Balakrishna, the name of another film star Murali Mohan has been added. Similarly, it is said that the government has recommended the names of some others from medical, education and social sectors. Ahead of Group 1 exams Begins, SC Refused To postpone
As Group-1 Mains Exam has started on Monday in Telangana for filling up 563 posts in the state and 31,383 candidates are writing the Group-1 Mains exam, hours earlier the Supreme Court has rejected the plea to postpone it.
The Apex Court denied any interim orders against beginning of the Group-1 mains examinations. The three-judge bench ruled against intervening in the candidates’ petition, stating that the Telangana High Court had already provided clear directives regarding the conduct of the exams.
The bench headed by Chief Justice of India Justice DY Chandrachud was of the view that any interim order now would cause “substantial dislocation” in the conducting of the examination, which the bench was disinclined to do.
The Supreme Court also directed the High Court to complete the case proceedings by November 20 while emphasising that, with candidates already reaching exam centres, delaying the exams at this stage would not be appropriate.
The petition filed by one Pogula Rambabu sought postponement of the Group – I Main examination citing GO 29, which was violating the constitution. Senior Advocate Kapil Advocate, representing Rambabu, argued that the exam, which had not been held for 14 years, should be postponed due to concerns over unfair treatment of candidates.
“This is a Group-1 post. It may never be filled again,” Sibal said, emphasizing the stakes involved for candidates. However, the Supreme Court bench, while acknowledging the concerns, noted that postponing a public service examination at such short notice would cause significant disruption.
“The special leave petition arises from an interlocutor order of the division bench of the High Court for the State of Telangana dated 16 October 2024. The High Court has specifically clarified that any selection which is made in persons of the examination which is to be conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission for Group -1 services shall abide by the final outcome of the proceedings”, it said.
Moreover, it also observed that “the proceedings listed before the High Court on 20 November 2024. The court is apprised of the fact that the examination is due to commence today at 2 pm and students have already reported at the examination centres, we are now have to consider the view that any interim order in these proceedings would substantial dislocation in the conducting of the examination, which are disinclined to do”.
The Bench said that the High Court has already clarified any selection made hereafter shall abide by the final outcome of the matter.

Jagan panic with Nara Lokesh Meeting with Amit Shah In New Delhi
Former chief minister and YCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy said to be in panic after Minister and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh met the union home minister on Sunday evening at the latter’s residence in New Delhi.
Interestingly, Lokesh met the home minister without the normal procedure of obtaining advance appointment and it was almost suddenly fixed on Lokesh’s request. Though Lokesh claimed that he only met Amit Shah to seek more liberal assistance from the center for the development of Andhra Pradesh, Jaganis feared that certainly some political discussions took place between them.

Three Rajya Sabha seats from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) have become vacant as its members Mopidevi, Mastan Rao, and Krishnayya resigned. Political parties in Andhra Pradesh, especially the alliance partners, are busy finalizing the names following the key positions becoming vacant. Chandrababu Naidu has sent a proposal to fill these seats that has invited a lot of discussions with Pawan Kalyan and BJP leadership. According to sources, it is learnt that two seats have been assured to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and one to Jana Sena. Reportedly, the selection of candidates has reached the final stages.
The resignation of the YSRCP members played a game of musical chairs with these postings. After resigning, both Mastan Rao and Mopidevi have gone over to the TDP. There are credible enough reports suggesting that Mastan Rao’s work is done for a Rajya Sabha seat. These three members of the BC have left the coalition leaders with the burden of careful selection to fill in for these vacancies. As it is the coalition has an overwhelming majority in the assembly and is likely to be able to hold these very seats.
Mega Brother Naga Babu from Jana Sena is going to be a Rajya Sabha member soon, as his name is almost confirmed for one of the seats. Unless there are some last-minute changes, Naga Babu is going to walk in the lines of his brother Chiranjeevi and enter the Rajya Sabha.

In that event, TDP would surrender one of the three available seats to the BJP. There is intense competition within the TDP, and all efforts are being made there to see that this party gets two of them. Police Found crores of Rupees In Roudee sheeter Anil Kumar’s Bank Accounts
The police, who are trying to unravel the criminal activities of the rowdy sheeter Borugadda Anil Kumar, who behaved like a lunatic on the social media platform during the previous YCP regime abusing opposition leaders, were surprised to find crores of rupees of amount in his bank accounts.
The bank accounts are giving strength to the allegations that Atithi received huge money from Tadepalli elders. It is being spread that the elders of Tadepalli have sent crores of rupees every month as he has been posting abusive posts against the opposition leaders.
In the past, Karlapudi Babu Prakash, the treasurer of the AELC church under the jurisdiction of Arandal Peta Police Station, got involved in the dispute and Anil Kumar threatened him to give Rs. 50 lakhs over the phone. He also blackmailed by sending video clippings. In this connection a case has been registered against Borugadda and his follower Hari, a fruit seller, in Arundel Peta PS.
Police arrested Anil Kumar in Amaravati on 17th of this month in that case. Police produced Anil in Guntur court on Thursday in the AELC church dispute case and remanded him till 29th. Meanwhile, it is known that Anil broke down in tears at the police investigating the case.
According to reliable sources, Anil answered without hiding whatever the police officers asked. “On that day, TDP leaders and workers in the opposition spoke provocatively. Besides that, YCP leaders are pushing me forward and they are behind. On the orders of then Minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, his brother and Guntur city YCP president Lella Appi Reddy, I slandered the then opposition leaders”, he admitted.
Guntur District SP Satish Kumar said that if any victims file a complaint with evidence against the rowdy sheeter Borugadda Anil Kumar, cases will be registered. Since the YCP government came to power in 2019, he said that Anil has started abusive postings in the social media against Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan with vulgar language.
So far 17 criminal cases have been registered against him across the state, he said. Anil needs to be taken into police custody and thoroughly investigated and also need to find out if there are any invisible forces behind him, he added.
Former Minister Viswarup’s son Srikanth Involved In A Dalith Youth Murder In Konaseema?
Srikanth, the son of former Minister Vishwarup, is believed to be the prime accused in the murder case of a Dalit youth in Dr. BR Ambedkar’s Konaseema district two years ago. The police, who did not conduct any investigation all these years, recently started an investigation at the initiative of Minister Vasamshetty Subhash.
Another accused in the case, Dharmesh, was recently arrested and sent to remand, while the police are hunting for Srikanth, who is believed to be the mastermind of the murder, along with four other accused. Ainavilli village volunteer Janupalli Durga Prasad went missing on 6 June 2022 and was found dead in the Godavari at Kotipalli.
This incident took place during the Konaseema riots. Initially registered as a case of disappearance, the police changed it to a case of murder based on the post-mortem report. There are allegations that the investigation was completely stopped on the orders of Vishwaroop, a minister in the YSRCP government.
A month ago Durga Prasad’s wife Shravana Sandhya met minister Vasamshetty Subhash and pleaded to punish those who killed her husband and bring justice to her. It was then that the minister brought the matter to the notice of DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao. As per the orders of the DGP, the investigation was carried out under the supervision of Kothapat DSP Govinda Rao.
Police interrogated the accused, YSRCP social media convener and friend of the deceased, Vaddi Dharmesh from Uppalaguptam mandal. In this case, it is known that the complete details of the actors, masterminds and the manner of the murder have been collected. They were arrested on 18th of this month and sent to remand.
The police have come to the conclusion that the accused Dharmesh and deceased Durga Prasad were close to Srikanth and actively participated in YSRCP activities. They also found in the investigation that Srikanth, after deciding to kill Durga Prasad, had sought the help of Dharmesh and assigned the responsibility to four others.
Then, Dharmesh took Durga Prasad to Kotipalli jetty on a two-wheeler, followed by four people in the back car. Dharmesh is reported to have said that while a man took him inside in a boat at the dock, three of those who came in the car tied a rope around Durga Prasad’s neck and killed him. It is known that some of the accused who killed Durga Prasad were the prime accused in another murder in Mummidivaram Mandal.
