Nara Lokesh Announces Initiative to Boost Standards in Intermediate Colleges

In a focused drive to enhance educational standards in Andhra Pradesh’s intermediate colleges, State Education Minister Nara Lokesh confirmed the coalition government’s resolve to elevate quality benchmarks. In a meeting with officials today, Lokesh directed the drafting of a comprehensive plan to establish one intermediate college in each mandal. This review session on intermediate education was held at his residence in Undavalli.

Lokesh emphasized that government junior colleges should strive to match the pass rates seen in private institutions. He instructed officials to spotlight high-performing students in competitive exams such as IIT and medical entrances, through newspaper publications. Additionally, swift approvals are to be issued for setting up junior colleges in remote areas, a move aimed at broadening educational access.

Officials reported that this year’s provision of free textbooks led to a surge of around 15,000 admissions in government junior colleges. The minister recommended implementing further strategies to reach a target of 200,000 admissions by next year. Lokesh also reviewed current policies on working hours, attendance monitoring, and student progress reports in junior colleges, urging for the integration of bridge courses conducted by top educators.

In alignment with modernization goals, he announced that NCERT textbooks will be introduced in the first year of intermediate studies beginning next year, along with adjustments to the examination format.

Mega DSC Preparations to Ensure Transparency, Lokesh Directs

In light of the successful completion of TET-2024, Minister Lokesh instructed education officials to prepare for the upcoming Mega DSC with strict adherence to transparency and systematic organization. During a review of the education sector, the minister underscored the administration’s goal to maximize candidate participation in the recruitment drive.

Additionally, he announced that Best Teacher Awards will be conferred on outstanding educators in the state on the 11th of this month. Lokesh also stressed the importance of completing teacher promotions and transfers before the commencement of the next academic year.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s remarks regarding the police response to crimes against women in Andhra Pradesh, along with the stance of Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha, have ignited considerable controversy. Dalit organizations have expressed their discontent with Pawan’s statements, prompting Dalit leader Mandakrishna Madiga to meet with Chief Minister Chandrababu today to voice his concerns. Following this meeting, Madiga took to a press conference to publicly criticize Pawan.

During the press conference, Mandakrishna Madiga expressed his strong disapproval of Pawan Kalyan’s comments about Home Minister Anitha, a member of the Madiga community. He described Pawan’s remarks as regrettable and indicative of disrespect toward Anitha, emphasizing that such issues will not be brushed aside. Madiga reminded everyone that dissatisfaction with Pawan’s actions had been voiced during the election campaign, suggesting a growing sentiment among various communities.

Madiga also questioned whether Janasena genuinely represents all communities, pointing out that support for the party extends beyond just the Kamma and Kapu groups. He raised concerns about the allocation of seats reserved for BC, SC, and ST communities under Janasena, asking why these have not been given to those communities while three reservation seats were awarded to the Malas community instead.

Furthermore, Madiga criticized Pawan Kalyan for not adequately fulfilling his responsibilities, questioning what might occur if another minister were to take charge of his department. బీసీలు తమకు చట్టసభల్లో యాభై శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ కావాలని కోరుతుంటారు. సాధారణంగా ప్రాక్టికాలిటీ గురించి ఆలోచించని, కేవలం తాము బీసీల కోసం పోరాడుతున్నాం అని ప్రచారం చేసుకోవడం మీద మాత్రమే ధ్యాస ఉండే నాయకులే ఇలాంటి ఆచరణ సాధ్యం కాని కోరికలతో రెచ్చిపోతుంటారు. బీసీలను ఉద్దరిస్తున్టన్టుగా కలర్ ఇస్తూ ఎవరు ఏమైనా అడుగుతుండవచ్చు గానీ.. నిజంగా బీసీల సంక్షేమానికి కట్టుబడి ఉండే నాయకుడిగా.. చంద్రబాబునాయుడు వారికి చట్టబద్ధమైన వాటాను పెంచుతూ నిర్ణయం తీసుకోబోతున్నారు. నామినేటెడ్ పోస్టుల్లో బీసీలకు 34 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ కల్పించే అంశాన్ని బుధవారం జరిగే కేబినెట్ భేటీలో ఆమోదించబోతున్నట్టుగా వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి. ఇదే జరిగితే.. బీసీలకు అది చాలా పెద్ద వరం అవుతుంది.

రాజకీయ అధికారం గురించి బీసీల్లో చాలా చాలా డిమాండ్లు ఉంటున్నాయి. వారు ఎప్పుడూ యాభైశాతం చట్టసభల్లో రిజర్వేషన్ డిమాండ్ చేస్తుంటారు. కానీ.. అది ఆచరణకు దూరంగానే మిగిలిపోతుంటుంది. నిజం చెప్పాలంటే.. పార్టీలు కూడా యాభైశాతం బీసీలకు టికెట్లు కేటాయించడం అనేది ఎన్నడూ జరగదు. అందునకు రకరకాల కారణాలుంటాయి. ఆర్థిక, సామాజిక నేపథ్యాలను బట్టి వీలు పడదనేది పలువురి అభిప్రాయం.

కానీ చట్టసభల పదవులతో సమానమైన నామినేటెడ్ పోస్టుల్లో.. బీసీలకు చట్టబద్ధమైన వాటా పెట్టడానికి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. వైసీపీ హయాంలోని నామినేటెడ్ పదవుల కేటాయింపు చట్టం 2019ని రద్దు చేసి, దాని స్థానంలో బీసీలకు 34 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ కల్పించేలా కొత్త చట్టం తీసుకురాబోతున్నారు.
బుధవారం కేబినెట్ భేటీ జరగబోతోంది. 11వ తేదీనుంచి శాసనసభ సమావేశాలు జురగబోతున్న నేపథ్యంలో ఈ కేబినెట్ భేటీ కీలకం కానుంది.

అలాగే.. రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రజలకు అతిపెద్ద సమస్యగా మారిన, మారుతున్న భూవివాదాలకు కూడా శాశ్వత పరిష్కారం చూపే దశగా ల్యాండ్ గ్రాబింగ్ ప్రొహిబిషన్ బిల్లు 2024 ను తీసుకువచ్చేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం సన్నాహాలు చేస్తోంది. ఇందుకోసం 1982 నాటి భూసేకరణ చట్టం కూడా రద్దు చేయాలనుకుంటున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం కొత్త ప్రభుత్వానికి వస్తున్న ప్రజల ఫిర్యాదుల్లో 80 శాతం భూసేకరణకు సంబంధించిన ఫిర్యాదులే కావడంతో.. వీటికి ఒక శాశ్వత పరిష్కారం చూడాలని చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది.

ఈ చట్టంతో పాటు.. బీసీలకు నామినేటెడ్ పదవుల్లో నిర్దిష్టమైన వాటా కేటాయించడం వల్ల.. అవకాశం వచ్చినా సరే.. చట్టసభలకు ఎంపిక కాలేని స్థితిలో ఉండే అనేకమంది బీసీ ప్రముఖులకు మేలు జరుగుతుందని అంతా అనుకుంటున్నారు.

సరస్వతీ పవర్ ఇండస్ట్రీస్.. ఇటీవలి కాలంలో బాగా వార్తల్లో నలుగుతున్న పేరు. ఈ కంపెనీ పుట్టి దాదాపుగా రెండు దశాబ్దాలు గడచింది. కంపెనీ స్థాపన మరియు విస్తరణ కోసం దాదాపు పదిహేనువందల ఎకరాలు సేకరించింది. ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి గనుల తవ్వకాలకు కూడా రెండు  విడతలుగా ఎనభయ్యేళ్ల కాలానికి లీజు అనుమతులు పొందింది. అయినా ఇప్పటిదాకా కార్యకలాపాలు ప్రారంభమే కాలేదు. ఇంతకీ ఆ కంపెనీ మూలాలు సక్రమంగానే ఉన్నాయనే భరోసా కూడా లేదు. రైతులను బెదిరించి వారినుంచి భూములు కొన్నారని ఇవాళ డిప్యూటీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి పవన్ కల్యాణ్ కొత్త విషయాన్ని బయటపెట్టారు.

ప్రజలను బెదిరించి వారి ఆస్తులను లాక్కొని, తమ సొంత ఆస్తిలా భావించి జగన్ కుటుంబ సభ్యులు కొట్లాడుకుంటున్నారంటూ పవన్ కల్యాణ్ అన్నాచెల్లెళ్ల ఆస్తుల పోరాటం గురించి ఘాటైన విమర్శలు చేశారు. వైకాపా నాయకులు ఇంకా తామే అధికారంలో ఉన్నట్టుగా భ్రమల్లో బతుకుతున్నారని పవన్ అన్నారు. సరస్వతీ పవర్ కోసం జగన్ తన తండ్రి వైఎస్సార్ అధికారంలో ఉండగా కొన్ని భూములను సొంతంగా కొన్నారని వైఎస్ ప్రభుత్వం ముప్పయ్యేళ్ల లీజులకు భూములు ఇస్తే.. ఆ తర్వాత జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వం మరో యాభయ్యేళ్ల లీజులు పొడిగించిందంటూ వారి పన్నాగాలను ఆయన బయటపెట్టారు. ఇక్కడ ప్రజలకు ఉద్యోగాలు ఆశ చూపించి బలవంతంగా భూములు తీసుకున్నారని.. ఇప్పటిదాకా ప్లాంటు ప్రారంభమే కాలేదని పవన్ చెప్పుకొచ్చారు.

సరస్వతీ పవర్ పేరిట ఉన్న భూముల్లో ఎన్ని అక్రమాలు ఉన్నాయో కూడా ఆయన బయటపెట్టడం విశేషం. వీరి కబ్జాలో సహజవనరులు, కొండలు, వాగులు ఉన్న భూములు కూడా ఉన్నాయని.. అవన్నీ వారి ఆస్తులుగా ఎలా మారాయో విచారణ జరిపిస్తున్నామని పవన్ చెప్పారు. వీటన్నింటినీ మించి ఏకంగా 400 ఎగరాల అటవీభూములను రెవెన్యూ భూములుగా మార్చేసి సరస్వతీ పవర్ కోసం లాక్కున్నారని స్థానికులు చెబుతున్నారని పవన్ పేర్కొనడం గమనార్హం. అటవీ భూముల విషయంలో చట్టాలు చాలా కఠినంగా ఉంటాయి.

చూడబోతే.. ఇలా అడ్డగోలుగా లాక్కున్న భూములకోసం అన్నా చెల్లెళ్లు పెద్దస్థాయిలో గొడవపడుతున్నట్టుగా కనిపిస్తోంది.
భూములిచ్చిన రైతులకు ప్రభుత్వం అండగా ఉంటుందని పవన్ కల్యాణ్ పేర్కొనడాన్ని గమనిస్తే, త్వరలోనే సరస్వతీ పవర్ కు గత ప్రభుత్వాలు ఇచ్చిన లీజులు రద్దవుతాయనే సంకేతాలు ప్రజలకు అందుతున్నాయి.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s rural entertainer ‘Thandel’, the story of which is said to be inspired by real life incidents in a fisherman’s brave journey during the 1970s, has been making strong waves from the day of its announcement. One of the reasons for the positive buzz on the film is the solid pairing of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi and the impressive first teaser which gave a peek into the grandeur of this rustic drama. 

From the past few days, there have been numerous speculations over the release date of this Chandoo Mondeti directional. Putting an end to all the suspense surrounding the release plans, the team has officially announced February 7th as the original date. Producer Allu Arvind and the core team of Thandel addressed a media interaction just a while ago in Hyderabad and ended the suspense through this announcement. 

Allu Arvind revealed that they never intended to release Thandel during Sankranti season as many other  biggies have already announced their arrival during the festival season well in advance. He further added that they decided to follow the equations with all Sankranti releases and locked Feburary 7th to avoid any further controversy with them. Surprisingly, the team skipped Republic day, which is an ideal date after Sankranti, and locked and unconventional February month for its release. 

On this occasion, a new poster featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in a close embrace feeling the warmth of one another surrounded by the sea of love amidst choppy waves is unveiled. The producer stated that another 20 days shoot is left and the entire filming will be done by December.

During his visit to Pithapuram, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan made statements about law enforcement that elicited a response from DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao. Speaking after a passing-out parade in Anantapur, Rao emphasized that the police department operates under the principle of “punishing the guilty while protecting the innocent.” He reassured the public of their commitment to constitutional principles, promising that all investigations would rely on factual evidence. Rao also acknowledged that mistakes were made by the previous government, highlighting the need for improvement.

In addressing the increasing issues of cybercrime and social media harassment, DGP Rao acknowledged the negative impact these crimes have on mental health. He further revealed plans to establish a dedicated cybercrime police station in the district to enhance their response capabilities.

Union Minister of State and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar has taken a dig at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, saying that his promises have become worthless and that he has given nothing to the people except media propaganda. He alleged that BRS has become a failure in the state, that the party’s cadre is gone, and that the leaders are jumping over walls.

He expressed confidence that the BJP will come to power in the upcoming assembly elections in the state in 2028 and that temples will be developed in accordance with Hindu religion and the thoughts of the people.

The Union Minister made these comments at an online meeting with the “Overseas Friends of BJP” NRIs in the US on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Congress party is ruling with a vengeance in the state. It is continuing its chaotic rule.

He expressed his concern that law and order is getting out of control, and that temples are being destroyed and attacks on Hindu religion are being carried out, but they are not being taken care of. He accused the Congress of creating drama by creating diversionary politics without implementing the promises made, and of creating another problem without solving it when a problem arises.

He lamented that the 6 guarantees are being skipped by campaigning in the media in the name of Hydra, Musi revival, and caste census. He criticized that the situation of the people who voted for the Congress party for change, tired of the KCR family, dictator, and corrupt rule, has fallen from the pan into the oven.

 He said that the Congress is the only party facing the most serious opposition in the state in a short period of time. He said that the Education Commission was formed with those with anti-nationalist ideology and Naxalite sympathizers, and all of them want to erase the history of our country, the history of Vivekananda Swami, Shivaji, and Veer Savarkar.

 He urged the people to understand what kind of signals are being sent to the people by forming an education commission with such people, saying that they are positive towards communism and Naxalism. He warned that if the PCC president wrote a letter to the government to appoint social media committees in temples, then they should understand what kind of attack is being made on Hinduism and what the situation is.

వైసీపీ తరఫున నీటి పారుదల శాఖ మంత్రులుగా పనిచేసిన అనిల్ కుమార్ యాదవ్, అంబటి రాంబాబు  ఇద్దరూ ఈ విషయంలో సైలెంట్ గానే ఉన్నారు. 2020 నాటికి పోలవరం పూర్తయిపోతుందని ప్రగల్భాలు పలికిన వ్యక్తి అనిల్  కుమార్ యాదవ్, పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టు ఏమిటో తనకు అర్థమే కాలేదని పలికిన మంత్రి అంబటి రాంబాబు. వీళ్లిద్దరూ సైలెంట్ గా ఉండగా.. ఇప్పుడు బుగ్గన రాజేంద్రనాథ్ రెడ్డి.. అదికూడా హైదరాబాదులో ప్రెస్ మీట్ పెట్టి.. పోలవరం గురించి తనకు తోచినదెల్లా మాట్లాడారు. పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టు గురించి చంద్రబాబు నిర్లక్ష్యం వహిస్తున్నారట. కేంద్రం ప్రాజెక్టు ఎత్తు తగ్గిస్తూంటే రాష్ట్రప్రభుత్వం పట్టించుకోవడం లేదుట. జగన్ ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలోనే ఎత్తు తగ్గించారని చెబుతున్నారట… ఇవీ బుగ్గన ఆరోపణలు.

నిజానికి ఈ వివాదం చాలా కాలం నుంచి వైసీపీ వారు మాత్రమే లేవెనెత్తుతున్నారు. వారి పత్రికలో మాత్రమే ఎత్తు తగ్గించినట్టుగా కథనాలు వస్తున్నాయి. వాటిని పట్టుకుని అందరూ మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. బుగ్గన కాస్త ఆలస్యంగా పేపరు చూసినట్టుంది. ఇవాళ మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. వాటికి కౌంటరుగా.. ఎత్తు తగ్గించినట్టుగా ఒక్క ఆధారమైనా చూపించాలని నీటిపారుదల మంత్రి నిమ్మల రామానాయుడు సవాలు విసిరితే వైసీపీ నుంచి ఒక్కరు కూడా స్పందించలేదు. ఆధారాలు చూపించలేరు.. కానీ ఆరోపణలు మాత్రం చేస్తుంటారు. ఇదంతా వైసీపీ అనుసరిస్తున్న చవకబారు ఎత్తుగడలు అని ప్రజలు అనుకుంటున్నారు.
