ఈ సంవత్సరం నందమూరి అభిమానులకి కావాల్సిన మంచి హై ని మ్యాన్ ఆఫ్ మాసెస్ ఎన్టీఆర్ నటించిన “దేవర” తో వచ్చేసిందని చెప్పుకొవచ్చు. అయితే ఇది కాకుండా మరో అవైటెడ్ సినిమా కోసం అభిమానులు ఎదురు చూస్తున్నారు. అదే నందమూరి నటసింహం బాలయ్యతన కెరీర్ లో  నటిస్తున్న 109వ సినిమా. దర్శకుడు కొల్లి బాబీతీర్చిదిద్దుతున్న ఈ సినిమాపై నెక్స్ట్ లెవెల్ హైప్ ఏర్పడింది.

బహుశా బాలయ్య ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో వచ్చిన అన్ని సినిమాల కంటే దీనిపైనే ఎక్కువ హైప్ ఏర్పడిందని చెప్పుకొవచ్చు. అలా ఎంతో ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురు చూస్తున్న టైటిల్ టీజర్ ని అయితే చిత్ర బృందం ఎట్టకేలకి విడుదల చేశారు.

దీంతో ఈ టీజర్ ని మేకర్స్ ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు తీసుకుని వచ్చారు. మరి బాలయ్యపై నెక్స్ట్ లెవెల్ ఎలివేషన్స్ డైలాగ్స్ తో అదిరిపోయే లెవెల్లో ఉంటుందని తెలుస్తుంది. అలాగే తనపై చూపించిన పలు గ్రాండ్ షాట్స్ కానీ అంచనాలు ఓ రేంజ్‌ లో పెంచేట్లు ఉన్నాయి.

ఇంకా లాస్ట్ లో అయితే తన ముఖాన్ని చూపించే సన్నివేశం గూస్ బంప్స్ ఇచ్చే లెవెల్లో ఉందని తెలుస్తుంది. అలాగే బాలీవుడ్ నటుడు బాబీ డియోల్ మంచి స్టైలిష్ అండ్ డైనమిక్ గా కూడా కనపడుతున్నాడు. మరి ఈ సినిమాలో బాలయ్య “డాకు మహారాజ్” గా కనిపించనుండగా అదే టైటిల్ తో విధ్వంసం సృష్టించేందుకు తాను ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రాబోతున్నాడు.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu accused YSRCP of destroying the AP brand by stopping the construction of the capital Amaravati. By ignoring the Polavaram project, he said they damaged the diaphragm wall and the project was weakened without paying attention to the floods. He accused YSRCP of making industries flee with government terrorism.

As a result, the Chief Minister deplored that our youth have lost employment and job opportunities here. Speaking in the Assembly during the budget session, CM Chandrababu said that by canceling PPAs, they had to pay Rs 9,000 crores without using electricity. He said that even though there was electricity, they bought it in the open market at a higher rate and put the burden on the consumers.

He criticized that now all the people have to pay extra on their electricity bills under TrueUp for the mistakes made by one person while in power. He said that YSRCP had exploited all the sand and the construction sector was damaged due to their mismanagement.

Referring to irregularities and looting in liquor, he said that no cash was taken online in a single liquor shop. He said that all the money looted in irregularities was transferred to Tadepalli Palace. Now, he said that the system has been put in a rut again. Moreover, he wondered if they have imposed a tax on garbage and damaged the living standards of the people.

Chandrababu said that they have used the police system in a way that shames democracy with partisan politics. He said that they harassed a doctor named Sudhakar who asked for a mask during Covid and made him crazy. He said that they had created chaos by giving incentives to capital expenditure. As a result, he flagged that all the roads in the state were completely covered in potholes.

Stating that all the systems in AP have been destroyed, but he recalled that the people revolted against him.  He said that the Rushikonda Palace was built with public money of Rs 430 crore, and palaces and offices were built for family members by destroying the environment. He said that the YSRCP government gave false information to the NGT, the High Court and the Supreme Court.

During a casual visit of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) action- Chairperson Vijayabharati Sayani to a Vijayawada for lunch led to its seizure, as during the same time some one became scared after finding jerry in the food served to him.

During her personal visit to Vijayawada, she visited Kakinada Subbayya Hotel for lunch on Thursday, with her staff. While having lunch, she was surprised when some other customer created havoc after finding a jerry in the meals served to him. The customer confronted the staff after the jerry can was found in the meal.

Vijayabharati, who noticed the commotion, inquired and found that the food had been contaminated with Jerry’s feet. She wondered how Jerry’s feet got into the food? She expressed her anger at the careless behavior of the management of the hotel.

Since the incident took place in a place where all government offices and courts are located in the city, the judicial and revenue officials responded immediately. Vijayabharati herself  called the district high officials and complained about the hotel.

She expressed her anger at the careless behavior of the Subbayya Hotel management regarding the food safety of the people, saying that such an incident had taken place here while she was eating in the same hotel. The officials responded to her call immediately.

Food safety officials conducted inspections.

At 2.40 pm on Thursday, Vijaya Bharathi Sayani brought the matter of food poisoning to the notice of the municipal corporation officials at the Subbayya Hotel in Kakinada in the city. Following this, Vijayawada Municipal Corporation officials and food safety officials provided information to the relevant authorities.

The district authorities have ordered that the Subbayya Hotel, which is playing with the lives of people and acting negligently, should be immediately shut down. Suryaraopet police, food safety officials, legal meteorology officials and other government department officials reached the hotel area. Subbayya Hotel was sealed on Thursday afternoon.

NHRC Action Chairperson Vijaya Bharathi Sayani has issued orders to the government machinery to take action against those who are playing with the lives of people at any level. She has instructed the officials to conduct inspections in all hotels.

In a controversial turn of events, senior police officials have launched an inquiry and taken disciplinary action against four police officers involved in the case of rowdy-sheeter Boru Gadda Anil Kumar, who is currently in judicial remand. The officers have been suspended for their inappropriate handling of Anil, triggering public outrage.

On Thursday evening, District SP Satish Kumar issued suspension orders for Head Constables Sardar, Gaus, Srinivasa Rao, and Constable Parameswara Rao. The controversy began when Anil, during his transfer to Rajamahendravaram Jail, was reportedly allowed to dine at a restaurant, which raised serious questions about the treatment of prisoners.

Anil, who was in judicial custody, had been interrogated by the Arandalpet police between the 26th and 29th of the previous month. After the questioning, instead of being placed in a lock-up, Anil was provided with a bed, blankets, and pillows at the police station, which was a clear violation of standard protocols. CCTV footage of Anil lounging comfortably, chatting with police officers, and speaking freely was shared widely on social media, further fueling the backlash.

The incident attracted severe criticism from the public and law enforcement authorities alike. Guntur IG Sarva Sreshtha Tripathi expressed his anger over the matter, leading to swift action. He ordered a leave of absence for CI Kounka Srinivasa Rao and instructed a thorough investigation into the matter. Additionally, a video surfaced showing Anil meeting his brother-in-law, which only intensified the controversy.

Former Kodangal MLA and BRS leader Patnam Narender Reddy has said that all the allegations made against him by the police FIR related to the Lagacharla pharma farmers’ revolt incident in Vikarabad district are false. He said that he did not give any statement to the police and disagrees with all the allegations mentioned in the remand report.

Narender Reddy, who is on judicial remand in Cherlapally jail, submitted an affidavit to his lawyers to this effect on Thursday. He asked that it be filed in the Kodangal Judicial Court. He said that two days ago at 7 am, he was forcibly detained by the police in Mufti from KBR Park and taken to Parigi DTC and detained between 9.30-10:00 am.

He clarified that no policeman spoke to him in this process and that he did not give any statement. The police took him to a government hospital, underwent medical tests and took signatures on some papers, he said in the affidavit. He said that he was produced before the judge within ten minutes.

He said that the police did not inform him about his being included as A-1 in the case until 4.30 pm. He expressed his grief that he was unfairly shown as A-1 in the case and said that the police did not inform his wife and family members that he had been arrested even before he was produced before the judge.

He alleged that the police filed a  fabricated statement as if he had admitted to the police that he had played a key role in the case on the instructions of his party leader KTR and others, and that he was surprised to hear this from his wife on Thursday. He made it clear that it was a complete hoax.

He said that he strongly disagreed with all the allegations made by the police at the behest of his political opponents. In this context, Narender Reddy requested the magistrate in his affidavit to take all these facts into consideration and issue orders to ensure that due justice is done.

Meanwhile, 16 farmers who were arrested in the attack on officials in Lagacharla, Dudyala mandal, Vikarabad district and kept in Parigi sub-jail were shifted to Sangareddy jail on Thursday. Parigi sub-jail is located near Kodangal. It is reported that they were shifted to Sangareddy jail amidst police security due to the large number of people coming for meetings.

ECI cancels Vizianagaram local bodies MLC by-poll

In a significant development, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has canceled the notification for the MLC by-election in the Vizianagaram local bodies following Andhra Pradesh High Court orders.

The upheaval follows the disqualification of YCP MLC Indukuri Raghuraju, which was initially upheld by the chairman of the Legislative council. Raghuraj subsequently challenged this disqualification in the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

 After hearing arguments from both sides, the High Court ruled in favor of Raghuraj, declaring that his disqualification was invalid and that he could continue serving as an MLC. In light of this ruling, the CEC has issued orders nullifying the previous election notification, effectively stalling any potential by-elections.

The recent developments represent a considerable setback for the YSRCP party, which was preparing to navigate the electoral landscape amid ongoing political tensions in the state.

Indukuri Raghuraj, who had previously won the Vizianagaram local bodies MLC seat from YSRCP, joined the TDP ahead of the recent Assembly elections. Following a complaint from his own party leaders, Council Chairman Koyye Moshen Raju disqualified MLC Indukuri Raghuraj. With this, the Election Commission notified that the Vizianagaram MLC seat had become vacant.

In this context, Raghuraj approached the AP High Court challenging the decision taken by the Council Chairman to disqualify him. The High Court, which heard this petition, recently ruled that the disqualification of Raghuraj was invalid.

However, the Election Commission had already released the schedule for the by-election to the Vizianagaram local bodies MLC seat. According to this schedule, by-elections are also scheduled to be held on November 28.

Nominations were already accepted for this by-election from November 4. This deadline ended on November 11. The nominations were scrutinized on November 12.  Voting for the local body MLC elections was to be held on November 28 from 8 am to 4 pm.

The Election Commission is ready to count the votes on December 1. In the context of the nomination process reaching a crucial stage, the ECI was forced to withdraw its notification following the AP High Court verdict, which made it clear that this disqualification was invalid.

Senior Citizens To Get 25 per cent Fare off In APSRTC Buses

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has announced to provide 25 percent off in its bus fares throughout the state. Not only residents of Andhra Pradesh, but whoever may be senior citizens travelling in APSRTC buses can avail this facility.

But, they need only to show some proof of their age crossing 60 years. For that, it has announced six types of identity cards for the implementation of the concession. It has made it clear that 25 percent senior citizen concession will be applicable on showing any of them.

The six types of identity cards the APSRTC has mentioned are Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Senior Citizen ID Card, Passport, PAN Card or Ration Card.

The APS RTC Executive Director (Operations) also said that this concession should be applicable to senior citizens belonging to any state, regardless of the state. In this regard, APSRTC has given instructions to all zone executive directors and all district public transport officers.

The orders have been issued to provide 25 percent concession to eligible senior citizens irrespective of their place of residence. Senior citizens should be allowed to show their age certificates in hard copies or soft copies, it said.

The corporation has extended 25 percent concession to senior citizens who have completed 60 years of age in all types of buses operated by APSRTC, the order said. It has also been stated in the order that senior citizens will be required to show their age certificates in physical or digital form (hard copies or soft copies) at the time of purchasing the ticket and during their journey.

The order stated that senior citizens can use any of the six types of cards to get the 25 percent concession in buses. It is irrelevant which identity cards are issued by the central and state governments. They should be allowed, it clarified.
